Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of Early Childhood Education educators on entrance tests at the elementary school level, including (a) Early Childhood Education Educators' knowledge of the concept of Early Childhood Education; (b) knowledge of Early Childhood Education educators on the implementation of entrance tests; and (c) the attitude of Early Childhood Education educators towards the implementation of entrance tests at the elementary school level. This research approach is a qualitative research with the type of case study research. As for the results of this study, firstly, from the aspect of knowledge of Early Childhood Education educators on the concept of Early Childhood Education, it is known that there are still Early Childhood Education educators who do not yet know the concept of Early Childhood Education; second, from the aspect of Early Childhood Education educators' knowledge of the implementation of the elementary school entrance test in Lhokseumawe City, it shows that in general, Early Childhood Education educators already know about the forms of tests, but the application of the tests used to see developments in children is still inaccurate and third, the perception of Early Childhood Education educators on the implementation of the entrance test at the elementary school level in the city of Lhokseumawe is that educators do not agree with the implementation. This is considered to be able to shift the concept of learning early childhood education actually.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes through the application of the cooperative learning model with the type of shared learning on absolute value material in class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7 Banda Aceh in the 2018/2019 academic year. The location of this research is where the researcher teaches, namely at SMA Negeri 7 Banda Aceh. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 school year which is planned to be carried out for 3 months from July to September 2018. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7 Banda Aceh in the 2018/2019 academic year. learners. This research is a classroom action research. The data technique in this study was obtained from the results of cycle tests, observations of teacher and student activities in learning. The data analysis technique used in this research was qualitative descriptive using the proportion formula. The results of the cycle test showed that the average learning outcome in the first cycle was 76.18, while in the second cycle it was 87.29, an increase of 11.11. Completeness of learning in the first cycle was 73.29%, while in the second cycle it was 100%, an increase of 26.47%. The average total teacher activity in carrying out learning in cycle I was 3.5 and in cycle II increased to 4.8, an increase of 1.3. The activity of students in participating in learning in the first cycle was 63.75% and in the second cycle it increased to 90%, an increase of 26.25%. So it can be denied that the application of the cooperative learning model of the type of shared learning can improve student learning outcomes on absolute value material in class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 7 Banda Aceh in the 2018/2019 academic year.

Abstract

The government accommodates students who have different potentials of intelligence, talent and the demands of the times by issuing Law number 20 of 2003 which regulates the National Education System. This study aims to analyze the application of the Semester Credit System (SKS) for students who have special intelligent potential and special talents which is a case study at SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. The research method is based on a survey. Based on the results of the research, the results of the implementation of the Semester Credit System (SKS) program policies are managed starting from the application for operator permits, recruitment of new students, learning load, curriculum, assessment, graduation, supervision and evaluation. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the Semester Credit System (SKS) program policy on students who have special intelligent potential and special talents if managed properly can accommodate services for these unique students.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to describe and comprehend the principal of SMP IT, Luqmanul Hakim, in terms of organizational culture development and implementation. The methodology employed is a qualitative one with a descriptive focus. Three individuals at SMP IT Luqmanul Hakim served as data sources for this study: the principal, the head of administration, and a teacher in the field of study. Observation, interviewing, and documenting procedures are used to collect data. The data analysis process included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drafting. The findings of this study indicate that the principal's strategy for fostering organizational culture is to make work commitments, establish regular management, assign primary work to each teacher and employee, frequently direct teachers and employees, choose teachers with good character and who adhere to school regulations, direct teachers and students in fostering morals, etiquette, and manners, acclimating students to dhuha prayer, and including dhuha prayer in the curriculum. The principal's strategy for implementing organizational culture is to communicate the primary objectives and responsibilities to each teacher, as well as to conduct weekly training and recitations, as well as to supervise and control each teacher and student to ensure that they are aware of the school environment's conditions.

Abstract

Covid-19 has had a significant impact on the paradigm shift in Madrasah management. Currently, madrasah managers are aware of the importance of technology-based innovation. This study attempts to analyze the madrasah development model. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the Principal, Curriculum Deputy, Teachers, and several students. The results of the study show that madrasah innovations that are based on increasing the effectiveness of learning are carried out through optimizing managerial functions. Analysis of the online learning phenomenon is observed through the implementation stage, potential challenges, and proposed solutions. The results also show that professional teachers in carrying out their roles as teachers of students and learning are in a good category, indicated by 75%. Meanwhile, 25% of teachers cannot be categorized as professionals. This figure shows the teacher's performance is very good referring to the attitude of professionalism in the learning process. The research implies that madrasah management requires public partnerships and the involvement of many parties on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Online-based learning at SDIT Al Mukhlisin has not been able to improve the quality of education and to describe the model of improving the quality of education through online-based learning at SDIT Al Mukhlisin, the research method used is qualitative, the results show that online-based learning in terms of improving the quality of education is only limited to What Group Apps. Resources cannot be increased through online-based learning at SDIT Al Muklisin due to the limited use of the Integrated Quality Management and Management information system application at SDIT Al Mukhlisin using the school website, online-based learning, compiling learning plans every semester of the academic year, whose final stages are in the form of softcopy and hardcopy.

Abstract

Online learning is an electronic learning system, using electronic media, internet, computer, gedget (HP), and multimedia files (sound, pictures and video). Learning motivation is the overall driving force in the student that moves the student and gives rise to the learning activity so that the desired goal of the learning subject can be achieved. This research is quantitative research that examines phenomena objectively by using statistical calculations to test hypotheses in research. The sample of this study amounted to 30 people with total sampling technique. The test result of product moment r value is positive 0.632 and perolehan p count = 0.000 < 0.05 which indicates that online learning variables (variable X) and learning motivation variable (variable Y) have a significant influence. Anova regression analysis test obtained an F value of 18,628 and a sig value. That is 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho rejected. The result of the determinant coefficient, known determinant cofisien value of 0.399 which means variable X (Online Learning) affects variable Y (Learning Motivation) by 39.9%.

Abstract

The research discusses the theory of spiritual leadership and Islamic teachings, and transposes the theoretical components of the spiritual leadership model into an Islamic leadership model that is more suitable for Islamic educational institutions. The research tries to find the concept of leadership in the perspective of the Qur'an. The research method is qualitative type. The technique used is literature study. Data were collected through relevant studies. The results of the study show that leadership in Islam is the term caliph, Imam, and Ulil-Amri; the concepts of caliph, imam, and ulil-Amri are very relevant to leadership in organizations; Surah Al Maidah verse 2 contains various lessons that are important to be absorbed and practiced by every Muslim, especially leaders in society, educational institutions. The context of leadership in society and educational institutions is to increase self-awareness, emotional and social interaction, communication, and daily interactions in the work environment, business and social activities of the community.

Abstract

Conflict is a conflict that occurs in the organization by members of the organization who seek to win their respective opinions and interests, while stress Stress can be interpreted as pressure, tension or unpleasant disturbances that come from outside a person. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the principal's efforts in managing conflict in schools, and 2) the principal's efforts in managing stress in schools. This research is a library research by collecting, analyzing books, journals, and previous research results that support the research theme. The findings in this study are as follows: in dealing with conflict and stress, a school principal must be able to identify the symptoms, the factors that cause it to occur. Furthermore, the principal makes a diagnosis of the conditions that are happening at that time, then takes actions through communications. The principal must act fairly and impartially to one party, let alone harm certain parties and benefit others. In dealing with conflict and stress, the principal must try not to become an element that exacerbates the conflicts that occur, the principal must not side with one element, on the contrary the leader must be in the middle to resolve conflicts or disputes that occur in the organization and school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the qualified instructional design in Mathematical problem-based learning to increase the Students’metacognitive skills on sine, cosine, and triangles area materials. It used thePlomp model development procedure that consists of the initial investigativephase; the design phase; the realization phase; the testing phase, the evaluation,and revision phase; and the implementation phase. Furthermore, to develop theinstruction, the design was adapted to the characteristic and learning syntaxbased on problem-based learning. The instructional designs that have beendeveloped through this research are lesson plans, material, student worksheets,and achievement tests. Based on the result and try-out that were analyzed, theinstructional design-based problem learning to increase the student’smetacognitive skills of the Tenth Grade of SMA Negeri 3 Palopo on sine, cosine,and triangles materials meets valid, practical, and effective criteria.
