Abstract

This paper describes a conceptual proposal for building educational competitiveness based on pedagogic competence. It is undeniable that the role of education in advancing the life of society and the nation has a very vital role. A good educational system and activity will determine the quality of the nation and society, both locally and globally. Therefore, a conceptual construction is needed in an effort to build educational competitiveness. Through a qualitative approach, descriptive analysis method with literature study as a data collection tool. The collected data is then analyzed descriptively to be presented comprehensively. From the results of the study, it was found that a teacher or educator needs to have pedagogical competence that can be the basis for producing quality graduates. The pedagogic competence mastered by an educator provides a direction to improve the quality of education. The principles of relevance, flexibility, and continuity, provides a foundation for increasing competitiveness in the world of education

Abstract

This study focused on the issues and challenges met by the School- Based Management (SBM) Team of the six schools within Albay and Camarines Sur. With the use of a survey-questionnaire distributed to the 48 respondents, it was found out that the issues encountered by the SBM Team include the availability, authenticity, and veracity of documents. On the other hand, the most significant challenge lies in the appreciation of documents by the validating team. Overall, the issues determined in this study are feasible. The continuous and improved cooperation of all stakeholders is deemed essential to establish an Advanced SBM Level of Practice.

Abstract

This study has focused in detail on the mental health management of 25 Grade 12 students to collect the data, the researchers developed their questionnaire that was pilot tested in the selected Grade 12 students of schools found in the Urban and Rural schools in the Schools Division of Camarines Sur and Tagkawayan District Division of Quezon and distributed through Google Forms that spanned within the 2nd and 3rd week of May 2022. These findings from a qualitative study that used a survey form were sent to enrolled Grade 12 students and randomly answered about Grade 12 Senior High School Students on Mental Health Management in the Midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic to explore the ways in which Grade 12 Senior High school students who took part constructed their understanding of what constitutes mental Health Management in the Midst of Covid -19 Pandemic. In essence, they did so by drawing on their own experiences during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The study used a comparative & descriptive research design to understand the perspectives and challenges of Grade 12 Senior High School Students regarding their coping mechanisms adapted amidst pandemic. The result showed that meditation or reflection is their most effective coping mechanism in managing their mental health issues. And least indicate that the respondents identified their coping mechanism are focusing on positive thoughts. Thus, it concluded that Grade 12 Students are not just faced with the physical health risks that are brought about by this pandemic, but they are also afflicted with the mental aspect of their well-being as well, as the heavy burden of having to deal with processing how they would survive this difficult situation on their own, the uncertainty of their future, the difficulty of keeping up with their studies despite the limited resources and many other aspects that affects their mental health.

Abstract

In the competitive world that we are living in, upgrading our skills and knowledge is very much relevant. Despite pandemic restrictions, teachers still strive to adopt a new normal education through different webinar series. This study aimed to bridge the gap between the importance of different institutions' webinars and their utilization being extended by the teachers. This study used a quantitative type of research to quantify and analyze the difference between the extent of utilization of teachers on their learning derived from webinars attended during the new normal and the profile of the respondents. Respondents of this study were 30 teaching personnel from Sto. Domingo Elementary School. The result of the study showed that teachers always utilized their learning derived from the webinars they attended in teaching strategy, assessment of learning, and school operation; however, they often utilized their learning in instructional materials preparation. It also showed that there is no significant difference between the profile of the respondents and their extent of utilization of learning derived from webinars they attended.

Abstract

This research aims to answer and know the implementation of PPG (Pendidikan Profesi Guru /Teacher Professional Education) from various places by studying similar research results. The method used to assess some of the research results using an evaluation approach is the matching method. The matching method is done by matching and comparing the characteristics of the land with the criteria so that one particular conclusion is obtained. Furthermore, a systematic review is used as a Narrative systematic review to review relevant studies. The discussion results resulted in that given the importance of the role of a teacher to improve the quality of Indonesian education, and teachers need to be prepared in such a way as to become professional teachers, one way is to follow PPG. Professional teachers can only pursue the quality of education. Implementing the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) is a form of embodiment of Law No. 20 of 2003.

Abstract

Internal quality assurance in schools is essential because it pertains to a school's confidence in complying to national education standards and achieving a nation's national education goals. In the discussion of this study, it is crucial to determine the degree to which Education Quality Assurance in primary schools is based on comparable research findings. The approach used to evaluate several learning outcomes is the matching evaluation strategy. In addition, the utilised systematic review is a Narrative systematic review, which carefully picks and conducts with discretion what the researcher has written about a subject or problem. As a consequence of the study's results, it was established that the education system and schools are responsible for ensuring that all students meet the criteria and using their resources effectively and efficiently. Especially elementary school, which is the foundation of education. Academic Quality Assurance is essential for attaining academic quality (teaching and learning procedures and curriculum) and structural provision (buildings and physical facilities) in accordance with predefined objectives and standards.

Abstract

Teachers execute their tasks. The quality of education has not changed, and student scores like the average national exam score remain low, indicating a severe issue. Indonesian education quality issues are shared by all groups. This study used multiple linear regression. Multiple regression has multiple study factors with one dependent variable and multiple independent variables. SMAN 25 Kab. Tangerang must enhance teacher performance by addressing leadership, motivation, and job happiness.

Abstract

This study determined the proposed Learning Action Cell Scheme based on Introduction, Development, Engagement, and Assimilation in relation to the mental health of the ten selected Senior High School Teachers in Plaridel District, Division of Quezon. Using a researcher-made questionnaire distributed through Google form, it sought answers to the level of stress the Senior High School Teachers in Plaridel Quezon had the response level in the Learning Action Cell (I.D.E.A. pattern) in terms of effectivity, time management, and behavioral aspects, the acceptance level of the Learning Action Cell proposed topics and the intervention scheme for Learning Action Cell. Descriptive survey research was used. All respondents were suffering from stress attributed to various intrinsic and extrinsic stresses. Most of the respondents had had the same experiences as they underwent in the L.A.C. session. The topics proposed were useful to manage the stress level of the teachers through L.A.C. sessions and strategic leadership of the school heads.

Abstract

As public schools nationwide in the country take a huge step of reintroducing face-to-face classes amidst pandemic and the public health situation, the study investigated the school improvement and safety plan for the limited face-to-face classes of eighty-nine (89) randomly selected public schools from Divisions of Camarines Sur and Albay, both elementary and secondary schools for the school year 2021-2022 and assessed how they effectively implemented the plan. The study utilized the descriptive-survey research method and conducted from February – July 2022. The data were collected using a developed survey questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results showed that the implementation of safety protocols and standards in public schools during the start of the school year was evident as they were prepared and organized prior to the conduct of classes. It is also revealed that safety protocols and standards were in consonance with the mandates of the Department of Health and observed among the public schools. Thus, it was concluded that public schools conducted and effectively implemented as per observed from the results of the school improvement and safety plans and protocols for limited face-to-face classes.

Abstract

This study evaluates several research results on the Smart Indonesia Card through the smart Indonesia program (PIP), how it is implemented and whether it takes place as expected or not. The method used in analyzing is this research is Mixed studies review / mixed methods review, which refers to any combination of methods where one important component is literature review. The data used in this study was obtained through literature studies by searching, collecting and reading various journals or articles about KIP (Smart Indonesia Card). After conducting a literature study and collecting data, then the data analysis process is carried out by referring to various references that have been used. The results of the research discussion show that the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Card policy in an effort to equalize education has run as it should, but in terms of its implementation in the field, there are still many shortcomings, as seen from indications that there are still many mistargets for students who should not be eligible to hold the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP)
