Abstract

This paper is the result of a field study conducted at one of the educational institutions on the island of Bawean, namely Madrasah Aliyah Mambaul Falah Tambilung. The focus studied in this research is on how to implement the development of an international standard madrasa curriculum (MBI). This study aims to determine the implementation of international standard madrasa curriculum development. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method, while the data collection techniques used are observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, data conclusion. Checking the validity of the data used is source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the MBI curriculum development is carried out by a). Reviewing the curriculum by inviting lecturers and kiai from Java to review learning at MBI, b). Shaping the character of students starting from the beginning of school entry, and c) Focusing on deepening the subjects used for college entrance selection.

Abstract

Performance evaluation is a method and procedure for evaluating and monitoring the performance of a person, group, or institution in accordance with performance standards or goals that have been determined in an educational institution or organization. The fairest way to reward employees is through performance reviews. Performance evaluations are conducted to ensure that educational institutions are meeting their goals and objectives, as well as to find out where they stand and how well they are achieving their goals. It is very important to find out if there are delays or deflections so that they can be corrected immediately so that the goals or targets are met.

Abstract

This article describes the results of research in one of the educational institutions on the island of Bawean, namely Madrasah Aliyah Hasan Jufri. The importance of the education administration system to be implemented is one of the benchmarks for the quality of education, especially in the teaching and learning process, but in its application it is still not optimal. This study aims to answer the problem of the education administration system in improving the quality of education by using descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that it is necessary to organize an education administration system to improve the quality of education, including (1) management of the teaching and learning process, (2) evaluation planning, (3) curriculum management, (4) manpower management, (5) facility management, (6) financial management, (7) student services, (8) cooperation or relations with the community, and (9) a conducive academic climate in madrasa.

Abstract

This article is the result of a field study at MA Darussalam Daun on human resource management in improving teacher competence there. This study aims to answer academic problems according to the focus of the study, namely to determine the application of human resource management in improving the quality of education and to determine the factors and obstacles in improving the quality of education. Using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach, data collection techniques by conducting observations, in-depth interviews and documentation, data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, data checking using data triangulation. The results of this study are 1) The application of human resource management in improving the quality of education starting with planning, organizing, directing, and controlling, 2) Supporting factors include support from parents, and involving teachers in training programs while the inhibiting factors are lack of discipline of teachers so that the application of human resource management is still perfunctory as well as the lack of facilities and infrastructure that can hinder the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This research examines how an educator can activate students in classroom learning, and to get there, it is necessary to understand that the task of an educator is not easy, they are required to encourage students to be active in learning without having to rely on control and control. supervision of an educator. The purpose of this study is how teachers are able to activate students in learning by paying attention to several factors that are considered to make learning conducive. The method used is library research by examining several theories in depth. The results of this study are active learning is learning that involves the activeness of students in finding something that is used as a finding and a new view based on independent activities that come from within the student. Learning objectives refer to the three domains inherent in students, namely cognitive, affective, and psycomotor. The implementation of active learning can be carried out in various steps, including mastering the class, recognizing all the names and backgrounds of students, giving full and detailed attention to students, changing the language of books to daily language in learning, and giving varied assignments.

Abstract

Islamic Religion education is the most important thing to implement in each education level from elementary, high school, and higher education, from basic formal public schools into campuses. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of Islamic religious education in public schools and campuses along with solutions to overcome them. The research method used in this research is library research using content analysis. The research results show that; First, the problems of Islamic religious education in public schools, namely the limited time allocation of only 2 hours of lessons per week, learning that is more oriented towards cognitive aspects, learning methods that are still traditional and boring, and the lack of competence of teachers. Second, the Problems of Islamic Religious Education on public campuses, namely: the provision of a very minimal credit load, only 2 credits, the provision of learning patterns that are less sustainable and only theoretical in nature, the form of developing an autonomous Islamic religious education, and Islamic religious lecturers who are not linear.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation of Change Management and the steps taken by the School in developing an organizational culture at SMPN 36 Bandung. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Research data collection techniques using research methods namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is by data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the principal's steps in implementing change management in developing an organizational culture in students are starting from planning, implementing and supervising the culture that has been established jointly by the teacher and student councils. As for the form of organizational culture at SMPN 36 Bandung, namely the school continues to carry out positive cultures that are already running, especially in shaping student character, starting from morning greetings, morning religious culture which includes reading asmaul husna together, praying dzuha together, reading the Qur’an together , then literacy culture activities, fit and clean culture are carried out every Friday. All these positive activities are implemented at school. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Implementation of Change Management in developing the Organizational Culture of SMPN 36 Bandung has been going well. Judging from the existing changes, both in terms of time and means.

Abstract

The concept of leadership is always used in various sectors, one of which is education. In the world of education, the concept of leadership is indispensable for educators. This is because educators are professionals in planning and implementing the learning process. For this reason, they are required to develop their performance or abilities through leadership. Meanwhile, the leader in the school institution is the principal. This leader plays a role in improving the performance of educators with an ideal leadership system. This analysis was conducted to see the ideal application of the concept of leadership and powership to the subject of teaching staff. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. From this analysis it is concluded that: the application of the concept or style of leadership for these educators has an influence on discipline, performance or ability, and responsibility. In improving discipline, school leaders apply telling and situational methods. So, educators can understand that school rules must be obeyed and implemented. Next is to improve the ability or performance of educators. The leader applies a participatory style. Leaders must build two-way communication with educators. Have full trust and respect for their performance. Finally, increase the sense of responsibility to apply a democratic style. Leaders regard educators as work partners and not subordinates. Then, the leader provides appropriate guidance and provides clear coordination of the tasks performed.

Abstract

In realizing quality students who are able to compete in various fields. This study aims to describe the management of students at MA Nurut Taqwa and to describe the competitiveness of students at MA Nurut Taqwa. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The method used in data collection is observation related to the implementation of student management in increasing competitiveness, interviews with school principals and student assistants, as well as documentation data and activity archives from management at MA Nurut Taqwa. Researchers use the Miles and Huberman model, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion drawing or data verification. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of student management at MA Nurut Taqwa has been well organized in increasing scientific power which includes: management of new student admissions, activity programs, coaching, evaluation and student achievement.

Abstract

The problem studied in this study is the implementation of student management in improving student learning services at MTs. Miftahul Huda Kepuhteluk, Tambak District. This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of student management in MTs. Miftahul Huda Kepuhteluk, Tambak District, (2) Describe the efforts made by madrasas to improve student learning services at MTs. Miftahul Huda Kepuhteluk Tambak District, and (3) Describe the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of student management in improving student learning services at MTs. Miftahul Huda Kepuhteluk. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Implementation of student management in MTs. Miftahul Huda Kepuhteluk is carried out through management function activities, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. (2) Efforts made by schools to improve student learning services, namely teachers have used the lecture method, question and answer method, practice method. (3) The supporting factors are from the point of view of teachers who already have a bachelor's degree, while the inhibiting factors come from students who have low IQ.
