Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this writing was to describe the Habermas theoretical dimension named the universal pragmatics and its contribution in linguistic-especially, critical linguistic-research. In this research, this writer used the library research concerning to the Habermas philosophical and critical ideas. The result showed that, firstly, the universal pragmatics was part of Frankfurt School critical theory which influenced almost all of Habermas social and philosophical thinking. Secondly, the universal pragmatics was the new epistemological basis of pragmatics as science. And thirdly, Habermas tried to enlarging the pragmatics as not the only historical-hermeneutics, but also critical-reflective science.   Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dimensi teoretis teori Pragmatik Universal yang dikembangkan oleh Habermas dan sumbangan yang diberikannya bagi penelitian linguistik terutama linguistik kritis. Dalam mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, penulis mengkaji sejumlah literatur yang terkait dengan ide pemikiran filosofis dan pemikiran kritis dari Habermas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tiga hal. Pertama, teori pragmatik universal merupakan bagian dari Teori Kritis yang dikembangkan Mazhab Frankfurt yang mempengaruhi hampir seluruh pemikiran sosial dan filsafat dari Habermas. Kedua, teori pragmatik universal merupakan usaha Habermas untuk memberikan dasar epistemologis dari disiplin pragmatik sebagai sebuah ilmu. Ketiga, melalui teori pragmatik universal ini, Habermas mencoba mengembangkan pragmatik tidak lagi sebagai ilmu yang semata-mata bersifat historis-hermeneutis, melainkan juga bersifat kritis-emansipatoris.   Permalink/DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15408/dialektika.v2i2.3623

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to look at narrative patterns in the collection of short stories "Karaban Snow Dance" (TSK). From the fifteen short stories, the researchers took five main stories, namely the Karaban Snow Dance (Tarian Salju Karaban), The Fall of a Leaf (Gugurnya Sehelai Daun),  Canting Kinanti Song (Tembang Canting Kinanti), Jagoan Men Arrived (Lelaki Jagoan Tiba), and Origami Pigeon (Merpati Origami). Of the five short stories, environmental themes and honesty appear most often. The place setting depicted shows the environment that is close to the author or according to the author's origin. The main characters in the four short stories are children, only one short story Male Hero Tiban (Lelaki Jagoan Tiban/LJK) who uses adult takoh as the main character. The child leaders in LJK only appear in the past stories of the main characters. The five short stories do not show a picture of whole parents (father and mother). The warm relationship between mother and child appears clearly, in contrast to the father-child relationship that is almost negligent. The five short stories also represent how children become heroes for their family, friends, and environment.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pola narasi pada kumpulan cerpen Tarian Salju Karaban (TSK). Dari limabelas cerpen yang ada, peneliti mengambil lima cerpen utama yakni “Tarian Salju Karaban”, “Gugurnya Sehelai Daun”, “Tembang Canting Kinanti”, “Lelaki Jagoan Tiba”, dan “Merpati Origami”. Kelima cerpen menampilkan tema lingkungan dan kejujuran. Latar tempat yang digambarkan memperlihatkan lingkuangan yang dekat dengan penulis atau sesuai dengan asal usul penulis. Tokoh utama dalam keempat cerpen tersebut ialah anak-anak, hanya satu cerpen “Lelaki Jagoan Tiban” (LJK) yang menggunakan takoh dewasa sebagai tokoh utama. Tokoh anak dalam LJK hanya muncul dalam cerita masa lalu tokoh utama. Kelima cerpen tersebut tidak memperlihatkan gambaran orangtua utuh (ayah dan ibu). Relasi yang hangat antara ibu dan anak muncul dengan jelas, berbeda dengan relasi bapak-anak yang nyaris alpa. Kelima  cerpen tersebut juga merepresentasikan bagaimana anak-anak menjadi pahlawan bagi keluarga, sahabat, dan lingkungannya.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to understand the meaning of tanduk oral literary symbol of the indigenous society of Genaharjo, Tuban. Through the semiotic theory of Charles S. Pierce, it can be understood that the tanduk oral literature has the meaning of symbols represented in the meaning of symbols of the names of characters, the meaning of animal symbols, the meaning of food symbols, and the meaning of plants symbols. The meanings that exist in the tanduk oral literature that evolved in the Genaharjo indigenous society formally refer to a single meaning of life that life should give priority to salvation in prayer. Local people believe that true life in the world is salvation. Every tanduk of its formal essence begs for salvation and blessing from God.The idea of ​​salvation is the attitude and outlook of human life towards God, the universe, and fellow human beings. Keywords: symbol of meaning, indigenous society of Genaharjo, tanduk oral literature Abstrak: Penelitian ini betujuan untuk memahami makna simbol sastra lisan tanduk masyarakat adat  Genaharjo Kabupaten Tuban. Melalui teori semiotik Charles S. Pierce, dapat dipahami bahwa sastra lisan tanduk memiliki makna simbol yang direpresentasikan pada makna simbol nama tokoh, makna simbol binatang, makna simbol makanan, dan makna simbol tumbuh-tumbuhan. Makna-makna yang ada dalam sastra lisan tanduk yang berkembang dalam masyarakat adat Genaharjo secara formal mengacu pada satu makna hidup bahwa kehidupan harus mengutamakan keselamatan dalam berdoa. Masyarakat setempat meyakini bahwa hidup sejati di dunia adalah keselamatan. Setiap tanduk esensi formalnya memohon keselamatan dan keberkahan dari Tuhan. Paham keselamatan yang dimaksud adalah sikap dan pandangan hidup manusia terhadap Tuhan, alam semesta, dan sesama manusia. Abstract

Abstract: The research entitled “Pattern Register Language Bus Crews Inter City Inter Provincial (AKAP) at Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta” aims to describe the form of the registers of the inter-provincial city bus crew in the Tirtonadi Terminal of Surakarta, patterns of language variations caused by social factors one of which registers, and the emergence of the frequent register of the bus crew. Register becomes something very interesting to be examined in terminal Tirtonadi, because often social communication language. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative method by doing observation directly and place is not bound. The results of the study showed 50 word register findings that were classified according to the register form, the bus crew language register pattern, the creation of new words with different meanings and special words in the community between bus crews.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud register bahasa kru bus Antar Kota Antar Provinsi (AKAP) di Terminal Tirtonadi Surakarta, pola variasi-variasi bahasa yang disebabkan karena faktor sosial salah satunya register, dan kemunculan register yang sering dipakai kru bus. Register menjadi sesuatu yang sangat menarik untuk diteliti di Terminal Tirtonadi karena seringnya komunikasi sosial yang dimunculkan dengan menggunakan pola bahasa komunikasi khusus. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi secara langsung dan tempat tidak terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 50 temuan kata register yang diklasifikasi berdasarkan wujud register, pola register bahasa kru bus, penciptaan kata baru dengan makna yang berbeda dan kata khusus dalam komunitas antar kru bus.

Abstract

Indonesia has many cultures. One look through the diversity of Indonesian culture, which is one of the region is Maros, South Sulawesi. In addition, Indonesia is also renowned as one of the nation that has a high enough rank of complexity. Indonesian complexity appears in profile in Indonesian language. This article will look at the diversity of Indonesian based on ancient human migration patterns in the archipelago. In addition, it will also be reviewed on the role of the only language that has managed to unite the cultural diversity of ethnicity, and languages in Indonesia. The existence of a national language in Indonesia only because of the already established agreements among Indonesian people to their social ties. The agreement occurred cumulatively. Many factors affect the diversity of languages that exist in Indonesia. Among the factors that generate the linguistic diversity is a factor of two ancient human migration, the migration of Austronesian and Australo-Melanesian. Two current distribution of the prehistoric human remains influential in the formation of culture and language in the archipelago until now. All indigenous languages in Indonesia generated from two groups of ancient languages, the Austronesian language family and the Papuan languages family. Austronesian language family moved in the archipelago around 4,000 years ago. Meanwhile, Papuan language families move in the archipelago since 40,000 years ago. Thus it can be said that the diversity of language in contemporary Indonesia should be associated with the migration factor and several other factors. Other factors, among others, such as migration, the geography of the archipelago with many islands and mountains, and social factors and communication. Seeing these things, it can also noted that Indonesia has a very diverse languages. Unlike delivered Indonesia has only two varieties in language, namely formal and non-formal varieties. It would be flawed if it still considers Indonesian has only two varieties from the 250 speakers.

Abstract

This study tried to see how far the interference of Betawi language in Department of  Education  Indonesian  Language  and  Literature  students’  short  story,  Faculty  of Tarbiya and Teaching Sciences, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta? It would be interesting to make a research about it, because the location of the campus, located on the border between Jakarta and Tangerang, Banten. Therefore the researcher assumed it would be found the Betawi language interference in students’ short story.The  method  of  this  research  is  combining  quantitative  and  qualitative. Quantitative used to see the amount of Betawi language interference while qualitative used to describe forms of interference that are found. The sample data of this study is the short story  created by students from the Department of Education Indonesian Language and Literature which organized to fulfill the assigment of writing subject.The  results  obtained  in  this  study  as  follow:  1)  the  forms  of  interference  were found: the interference of word, affixation interference which include prefix, suffix, confix, and  the  repetition  of  the  word;  2)  The  amount  for  each  interference  that  occurs;  (a) Interference of suffix is most present in 23 (36.51%); (b) Interference in the category of prefix were 12 (19:05%), (c) interference in confix category were 9 or 14:28%, and (d) Interference  in  the  form  of  word  categories  were  19  (30.15%).  There  were  63 morphological interference from 36 students’ short stories.

Abstract

Abstract: Language disorders are often experienced by children, especially with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Using qualitative descriptive and case study methods, this study examines the language disorder or S-LI (Speech or Language Impairment) on Student X with ADHD. The results of the study show that (1) the language disorders which experienced by Student X are phonology and pragmatic. Phonological impairments are adding phonemes /ŋ/, phoneme omitted, and phoneme changed in some specific words. The pragmatic impairments are difficulties to communicate and to understand speech and most of the time Student X have miscommunication when he made a conversation; (2) language disorder that occurs in the Student X because he has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) traits and he was born on six month pregnancy (premature); and (3) Student X can be given speech therapy to provide special services such as peer tutors and learning models with repetitive reading techniques and appropriate speech pronunciation. Language disorder that experienced by Student X is a serious problem and should be solved immediately because it can affect the acquisition of other language skills. Moreover, Student X will be difficult to understand the lessons according to the curriculum in the school.Abstrak: Gangguan berbahasa sering dialami anak-anak, khususnya pada penderita Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengkaji gangguan berbahasa atau S-LI (Speech or Language Impairment) pada Siswa X yang menderita ADHD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) gangguan bahasa yang dialami Siswa X adalah permasalahan fonologi dan pragmatik. Permasalahan bahasa pada tataran fonologi yang dialami oleh Siswa X, seperti pada penambahan fonem /ŋ/, penghilangan fonem, dan perubahan fonem pada kata-kata tertentu. Gangguan pragmatik yang dialami oleh Siswa X adalah kesulitan untuk berkomunikasi dan memahami ujaran dengan baik serta sering terjadi miskomunikasi pada saat berbicara; (2) gangguan berbahasa yang terjadi pada Siswa X karena ia memiliki ciri Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) dan terlahir prematur 6 bulan; dan (3) terapi wicara yang bisa diberikan kepada Siswa X adalah dengan memberikan layanan khusus berupa tutor sebaya dan model pembelajaran teknik membaca berulang-ulang serta pengucapan ujaran yang tepat. Gangguan berbahasa pada Siswa X merupakan masalah serius dan harus segera ditangani karena dapat berdampak pada penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa lainnya. Tidak hanya itu, Siswa X akan mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami pelajaran yang diberikan sesuai kurikulum di sekolah tersebut.  Kata Kunci: gangguan berbahasa; ADHD; fonologi; pragmatik; terapi wicara

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of media images influence on the ability to write narrative series. This research is a quantitative experiment using a single experimental class and the control class as a comparison. Subjects were students of class VIII SMP IT Darus-Sholihin Sawangan as many as 32 students. Collecting data in this study using a test instrument board. Conclusions from this research that the use of media images affect the ability to write narrative series learners class VIII SMP IT Darus-Sholihin sawangan. In testing the hypothesis at the 5% significance level obtained t > t table (2.27> 1.75), so Ho refused and H1 accepted. So the hypothesis significantly verified and accepted. Thus concluded there are significant media use picture series on narrative writing skills of students. Average narrative writing skills of students who use the media image series (73.43) is higher than that using the conventional method (64.68) Keywords: Media Image Serial; Narrative Writing; Influence Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas kontrol sebagai pembanding. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP IT Darus-Sholihin Sawangan Depok sebanyak 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument tes tulis. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan media gambar seri mempengaruhi kemampuan menulis narasi peserta didik kelas VIII SMP IT Darus-Sholihin Sawangan Depok. Dalam pengujian hipotesis pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh   thitung > ttabel  (2,27 > 1,75) , dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga hipótesis teruji kebenarannya dan secara signifikan diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan menulis narasi siswa. Rata-rata kemampuan menulis narasi siswa yang menggunakan media gambar seri (73,43) lebih tinggi dari pada yang menggunakan metode konvensional (64,68). Abstract

Abstract: Description of morphological processes involving the verbal prefix me-/meN- in the Indonesian grammars have a long story. Traditionally, me- was described as changing in its form into meng- when followed by a base which begins with vowels, k, g, h, and kh; into mem- when folllowed by t and d; into men(y) when followed by s, sy, c, and j; remaining as me- when followed by m, n, ny, ng, l, r, w, and y. In the process, the initial p, t, l, and s are lost and the fate of the bases is no longer discussed. In this presentation it will be argued that not only prefixes but bases also entitled to more than one allomorph, changing the initial p, t, k, and s of the base into their respective homorganic nasals. This argument is supported by the occurrence of allomorphs like –masang, -nulis, -nguras, dan –nyapu in reduplication. Hypenation in written words like me-masang, me-nulis, me-nguras, and me-nyapu are also proofs of the allomorphic existence. Abstrak: Deskripsi proses morfologi yang bersangkutan dengan awalan verba me-/meN- dalam tata bahasa Indonesia mempunyai sejarah yang cukup panjang. Secara tradisional, me- diperikan sebagai awalan yang berubah bentuknya menjadi meng- ketika diikuti bentuk dasar yang berawal vokal, k, g, h, dan kh; menjadi mem- jika diikuti p, b, dan f; menjadi men- jika diikuti t dan d, menjadi men(y) ketika diikuti s, sy, dan j; tetap sebagai me- ketika diikuti m, n, ny, ng, l, r, w, dan y. Dalam proses itu p, t, k, dan s awal hilang atau luluh dan nasib kata/bentuk dasar tidak dihiraukan lagi. Dalam paparan di bawah ini diajukan argumen bahwa tidak hanya awalan tetapi juga kata/bentuk dasar mempunyai kemungkinan untuk memiliki lebih dari satu kata/bentuk dasar menjadi sengauan homorgan masing-masing. Argumen ini ditopang, misalnya, oleh kahadiran alomorf atau bentuk seperti –masang, -nulis, -nguras, dan nyapu dalam kata ulang. Abstract

Abstract: This paperstudies the Bali legend that is the former of Lake Batur. The background story of this legend is the story of Kbo Iwa. Based on the study f Olrix Epic Law, the story of Kbo Iwa is found in all laws except the fifth and sixth i.e. the opposing state law and the legal skeleton of twin brothers. Typically the name "batur" refers to something early and holy related to the source of living water. Geography Lake Batur is associated with Tirta Empul Pool providing the holy water, the largest water source in Bali Island. The sanctity of the lake is marked with the oral tradition of Bhakti Pakelem which obliges local communities to implement a regular basis. The tradition is carried out on the lake and in the mountains to keep the balance of life because the word "batur" in addition to marking the lake is also to mark the mountain and marking Pura Ulun Danu Batur. Thus, the former of the lake cannot be separated from the meaning of the mountain and temple positions. Although, the nature of the legend as other legends does not relate to things that are sanctified, the story of Kbo Iwa can be said to be a rationale importance of the water resources. Abstrak: Tulisan ini mencoba  mengakaji legenda di pulau Bali yaitu asal-usul Danau Batur. Kisah yang menjadi latar legenda ini adalah kisah Kbo Iwa. Berdasarkan kajian Hukum Epik Olrix,  Kisah Kbo Iwa terdapat semua hukum kecuali hukum kelima dan keenam yakni hukum keadaan yang berlawanan dan hukum anak kembar kerangka. Secara khas nama “batur” mengacu pada sesuatu yang awal  dan suci yang berhubungan dengan sumber air kehidupan. Geografi Danau Batur berhubungan dengan pemandian Tirta Empul yang mengeluarkan air suci,  sumber air terbesar di pulau Bali. Kesucian danau tersebut ditandai tradisi lisan Bhakti Pakelem yang mewajibkan masyarakat sekitar melaksanakannya secara rutin. Tradisi itu dilaksanakan di danau dan di gunung untuk menjaga keseimbangan kehidupan karena kata “batur” selain untuk menandai danau juga untuk menandai gunung dan menandai Pura Ulun Danu Batur. Dengan demikian, asal usul danau Batur tidak dapat dilepaskan dari pemahaman terhadap posisi gunung dan posisi pura tersebut. Walaupun, sifat legenda sebagaimana legenda lainnya tidak berhubungan dengan hal-hal yang disucikan, kisah Kbo Iwa dapat dikatakan menjadi latar belakang pemikiran pentingnya sumber air.   Permalink/DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15408/dialektika.v2i2.3628
