Samples taken by simple random sampling, that is the elderly aged over 60 years with hypertension in Jember PSTW as many as 20 person. After the acupressure therapy mostly elderly blood pressure is decreased. The results were analyzed using SPSS with paired sample t-test if normal data distribution and the Wilcoxon signed rank test if data distribution is not normal. Results of analysis using paired samples t-test showed that the value of systole p = 0.001 (p < α). This research of the value of MAP p= 0.000 (p < α) and diastole using the Wilcoxon signed rank test was obtained p = 0.004 (p < α ) mean that suppression effect of acupressure points Taixi (Ki3) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) effective to decrease blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension in PSTW Jember

The aim of the research to proved clove leaf oil has the analgesic activity. The data were analyzed with Kruskal-Wallis test, continuated by Mean-Whitney test with trust level 95%. This research was conducted with writhing reflex method with animal test of male mice Balb/C by 20 mice divided into 4 group.Group I as a control was treated with CMC Na 0,5% suspension, group II and III were treated with doses of 100 mg/kgBB and 200 mg/kgBB clove leaf oil, group IV was treated with aspirin. Number of streches (writhing reflex) was observed. The data were analyzed with KruskalWallis test, continuated by Mean-Whitney test with trust level 95%. This research of number of streches (writhing reflex) result significant difference between group I with group II, III and IV (p<0,005). Group II compare with III not significant difference (p>0,05). Group II compare with IV and group II compare with IV showed significant difference (p<0,05). Abstract

One of the factors that influence compliance is individual motivation. There are still many pulmonary tuberculosis patients who do not wear masks, this can have an impact on disease transmission. Poor individual motivation can affect someone's compliance. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship of patient motivation regarding prevention of transmission with adherence to the use of masks in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Rambipuji Health Center, Jember Regency. This research uses descriptive correlative type of research. In this study using a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study was taken using simple random sampling, namely pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the Rambipuji Health Center in Jember Regency, totaling 105 patients but only 50 patients were used as samples. This research was conducted by giving a questionnaire to pulmonary tuberculosis patients to find out the patient's motivation about preventing transmission by adhering to the use of masks. The results of the study were analyzed using the Lambda Correlation Test, the results of the analysis found that the motivation of patients was good motivation (22%), patient motivation was sufficient (56%), and patient motivation was less motivation (22%). Whereas adherence to the use of masks in pulmonary tuberculosis patients is compliant (36%), and non-compliant (64%). The Lambda Correlation Test results obtained from the variable compliance with ρ = 0.389 positive direction with a value of ρ count of 0.027 <0.05 which means there is a relationship between patient motivation about prevention of transmission with compliance with the use of masks in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in Rambipuji Health Center, Jember District. It is recommended that further studies be able to conduct more in-depth research related to the relationship of patient motivation regarding the prevention of transmission with adherence to the use of masks in pulmonary tuberculosis patients

The existence of the disease affects the condition of one's physical health which is one aspect that determines the quality of one's life. The disease that often affects the elderly is hyperuricemia and hypertension. The purpose of this study is to determine the close relationship between hyperuricemia and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. The research design used was Observational Analytic with cross sectional approach. The sample amounted to 58 with sampling using random sampling techniques. Data collection method uses uris acid meter and sphygmomanometer then data is analyzed using Chi Square statistical test with Contingency Coefficient. The results of the analysis are the majority of respondents who have hyperuricemia with hypertension (73%), who have hyperuricemia but do not have hypertension (27%), who do not have hyperuricemia but have hypertension (23.8%), and who do not experience hyperuricemia and do not experience hypertension as much (76.2%) The results of the analysis of the two veriabels obtained p value = 0.001, cc = 0.529, and OR = 8.640. The conclusion in this study is that there is a fairly close relationship between hyperuricemia with the incidence of hypertension in the elderly at UPT PSTW Jember. Suggestions for health workers should increase the intensity of providing health education to the elderly through counseling, as well as checking for uric acid and blood pressure regularly.

The results of anxiety score analysis in 15 respondents in this study there was an average decrease in anxiety scores from before being given laughter therapy is 31,26 to 21,86 after being given laughter therapy. After bivariate analysis with paired t-test is got the value of count t 11,174 > count of table t 2,145 and p value 0.000 (<0,05), So that Ho arejected which mean there is change of anxiety of elderly after being given laughter therapy at UPT PSTW Bondowoso. UPT PSTW Bondowoso provides laughing humor therapy facilities such as show comedies etc

Abstract

Hypertension in pregnancy is 5-15% complicating pregnancy and is one of the three highest causes of maternal and maternal morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinants of the incidence of preeclampsia in the Kalisat Hospital in Jember Regency in 2018. The study design used a case control study approach. The number of samples in this study were 74 cases of preeclampsia that occurred in 2018 and control samples namely 74 pregnant women who did not experience preeclampsia who had a gestational age or time of delivery that was close to women who had preeclampsia. The instrument for collecting data is the research data collection sheet with medical record data sources. Analysis of the data carried out was descriptive analysis and multivariate analysis using Chi-Square formula. The results obtained p-value 0.037 <α 0.05 for the variable age of the mother, p-value 0.023 <α 0.05 for the variable parity, p-value 0,000 < α 0.05 for gemeli variable which means that Ho is rejected, then there is an influence of age determinant of pregnant women with preeclampsia, parity of pregnant women with preeclampsia and ameliorated pregnant women with preeclampsia on the incidence of preeclampsia. Based on the results of the above research, detection efforts should be made as early as possible very important for pregnant women

To determine the closeness of the relationship using Contingency Coefficient (C). The result of this research obtained; a) there were 29 respondents (32.2%) with hypertension and 61 respondents or 67.8% without hypertension; b) there were 27 respondents (30.0%) with mature cataract and 63 respondents or 70.0% with immature cataract. The result of Chi Square Analysis obtained p= 0.279 < α = 0.05 meaning there is no relationship between hypertention and cataract
