Journal An-Nafs: Kajian Penelitian Psikologi Focuses on empirical studies of educational psychology and includes discussions of social psychology in educational contexts (interpersonal, group, and community interactions). This journal publishes research based on empirical studies using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches. Journal An-Nafs: Kajian Penelitian Psikologi Covering a broad range of content issues (learning innovation in psychology; student interactions; leadership and teacher careers in the educational setting; teacher-student relations; school cultures; special education; gender, race, ethnicity and social class in education; achievement, motivation, attitude in school; psychological interventions in educational setting; bullying, violence, and criminals in school; etc). This journal prioritizes high-quality innovative and comprehensive research on psychological phenomena associated with Muslim generations/societies/countries/institutions. Studies on Muslim and developing countries to increase the publication of psychological research from these regions at the international level are preferred. However, contributions from all corners are not limited.

Each person must have experienced a variety of problems and obstacles in his life. If someone in his life is hopeless and strength to face the problems of life, the person may experience depression can even become stressful. Depression is not only experienced by adults but children may also experience depression knows no social class. Many factors that cause a person to become depressed and down. Depression is one of the main causes of suicide (suicide). As many as 40% of patients with depression have suicidal ideas, and only approximately 15% that succeed do so. WHO predicts that by 2020, depression will be one of the more experienced of mental disorders and severe depression will be the second largest cause of death after a heart attack. Based on data from the WHO in 1980, nearly 20% - 30% of hospital patients in developing countries mental emotional disorder such as depression. Depression is an emotional disorder or a bad mood characterized by prolonged sadness, hopelessness, guilt and does not mean. So that all mental processes (thinking, feeling and behaving) can affect the motivation to move in daily life and in interpersonal relationships

This paper aims to examine the provision of child protection training at the elementary school teachers as primary prevention of child sexual abuse to increase knowledge, attitudes and skills to convey information in Tulungagung, East Java. The research method using untreated control group design with pre-test and post-test. There are 21 elementary school teachers who are involved in the research. The instrument used was a questionnaire, observation. Test Mann Whitney U-test to test for differences in gain score the experimental group and the control group. The results showed no significant effect giving child protection programs against KSA by Guru to the increase of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of teachers as primary prevention of sexual assault at elementary school children in Tulungagung, East Java, as indicated by the results of Mann Whitney p value below a significant level 0,05 (p <0.05)

This article aims to explain the implementation of moral education of students through habituation extra activities, and habituation extra activities in support of moral education. The subject in this case is seven male PTRM in Malang. Assessment methods used are observation, interviews and the scale of self control. The assessment results show that the last four months of oral methadone dose increased. This is because there are some problems they face, one of which patients had resistance from the surrounding environment and the core environment, so they are more convenient to gather the community related to a drug that causes them difficult to break away from drugs. Interventions using counseling group consists of 6 sessions, which aims to improve the self-control to not use drugs. The results of the intervention showed that subjects were able to control myself not to use drugs, the subject also has a reason to reject the anticipation at the time was in a group of drug users

This paper aims to: determine student achievement, student religious behavior relationship between learning achievement with student religious behavior. Students sampled is 87 students. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. While the methods of analysis used is using the technique Spearman correlation analysis Tata offer. The results showed that (1) Achievement Student achievement is quite good, reaching an average value of 82.7. (2) Religious behavior of students classified as good ie with a percentage of 56.3% good, 39.1% moderate, 2.3% and 2.3% splendidly less. (3) There is a significant relationship between academic achievement by religious behavior of students with the level of strength of the relationship between the two moderate. This is based on the results of data calculated by the formula Spearman using IBM SPSS Statistics program version 22, which shows the correlation between the variables x and y variables amounted to 0,404 with the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000.

When a child diagnosed with thalassemia, it can cause a pressure for parents and it can be a challenge especially for mother in running her role as a mother for their children. Patients with thalassemia need blood transfusions for the rest of his life, and it is require a expensive cost. This study aims to provide an overview of resilience in mothers of children with thalassemia. “Resilience is the human capacity to face, to cope, and to overcome the difficult times in life, so that someone be strengthened by experiences of adversity” (Grotberg, 1995). Resilience needs to be owned by a mother who has a child with thalassemia to be able to cope with sadness and rose to undergo their role as a mother. Data retrieval study using in-depth interview conducted towards four mothers (38 to 53 years old) who has a child with thalassemia. The result shows that the four subjects faced difficulties when they have the thalassemia children. Generally, the four subjects were able to build the resilience (I have, I am, I can) to cope the sadness, and able to perform their role as a mother very well

This article elaborates on theories of psychology in the Qur'an and Sunnah on how to maintain mental health. As the basic source of Islam, the Qur'an and the Hadith contains much information and knowledge, including mental health problems amid concern the world of psychology today. With the approach of Normative-theological author tried to dig texts that discuss these topics and explain its theories. The author came to the conclusion that 1) maintaining of mental health in Qur'an and Sunnah perspective based on the notion wasathiyah (moderation) in fulfilling the needs of the material and the spiritual, 2) method of the Qur'an and Hadith in realizing mental health, among others by strengthening the spiritual dimension, control of biological motivations and methods learned are necessary for mental health. Achievement of these methods can be seen from the life of the prophet and the sahabata of the relationship with God, with himself, his relationships with others, and the universe.

This article intends to describe the learning Marasah Diniyah daughter (Madin), Assembly Musyawatah Madrasah (M2M), and Tartil Quran (TQ). This study aims to find the relationship over protective attitude of parents with children early childhood social maturity. Over protection as independent variables and the dependent variable is the social maturity of the child. Subjects in the study were all students of early childhood education. totaling 40 children. Data were analyzed with statistical techniques Produc Moment. Analysis results obtained index value correlation r xy - 0.334; P = 0.033 (P <0.05), which means there is a significant negative relationship between Attitude Over Protection Parents with Children's Social Maturity. Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire to measure the scale of parenting Over protection used scale dikembangankan by the researchers themselves, Average to measure using the Children's Social Maturity The Vineland Social Maturity Scale. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between Parenting Over Child Social Protection at Maturity.

This paper intends to review with the student's learning style dimensions of divergent and convergent. Both interact with the methods of debate and methods of discussion. Differences in learning styles impact on student learning, student learning outcomes specify a maximum learning. Therefore, teachers need to understand the learning style that is owned by the students, before applying the learning method that will be chosen. This paper concludes convergent learning style has a stronger interaction with the method of debate while the divergent learning style has a stronger interaction with the method of discussion
