Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of students in learning mathematics about the concept of multiplication. This makes students' understanding of multiplication of whole numbers still low. Based on these problems, efforts are made to improve understanding of the concept of multiplication of whole numbers by using a realistic approach. This study begins with giving pretest to students, aiming to get an idea of understanding the concept of multiplication of whole numbers. This research method uses Classroom Action Research which consists of four stages, namely; planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in two cycles, where from each cycle there was a significant increase so that a realistic approach could be applied to the material of multiplication of whole numbers..

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low creative thinking ability of students which is influenced by several factors including the learning carried out by the teacher is less stimulating towards increasing creative thinking skills, namely the lack of use of appropriate learning media. Students do not get assignments that can hone their thinking skills and generate creative ideas or something new. Based on these problems, one of the efforts to improve students' creative thinking skills in this study is to apply learning media that can hone students' thinking skills, namely crossword puzzle learning media. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This research was carried out at SD Negeri Karanglayung with a sample of 16 fifth grade students. This research was carried out in two cycles, where from cycle to cycle there was a significant increase, namely the acquisition of the percentage value of teacher skills in the first cycle of 77%, in the second cycle of 93 %. The value of the percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 79%, in the second cycle it was 95%. The percentage value of students' creative thinking skills in the first cycle was 69%, in the second cycle it was 84%. Thus it can be seen that the use of crossword puzzle learning media that researchers apply in the learning process can improve students' creative thinking skills

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to multiply two fractions which is influenced by several factors including conventional learning and some students cannot do multiplication. This makes the ability of students to multiply two fractions is still low. Based on these problems, efforts to improve students' ability to multiply two fractions by using a cooperative model type TAI (Team Assisted Individualization). This research method uses Classroom Action Research which consists of four stages, namely; planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in two cycles, where from each cycle there was a significant increase so that the TAI learning model could be applied to Mathematics.increase, namely the acquisition of the percentage value of teacher skills in the first cycle of 77%, in the second cycle of 93 %. The value of the percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 79%, in the second cycle it was 95%. The percentage value of students' creative thinking skills in the first cycle was 69%, in the second cycle it was 84%. Thus it can be seen that the use of crossword puzzle learning media that researchers apply in the learning process can improve students' creative thinking skills

Abstract

Learning media is a means of communication in the teaching and learning process in the form of hardware and software to achieve learning processes and outcomes effectively and efficiently, and can overcome the limitations of learning space and time. The purpose of this research is to design and produce a distance learning system product using raspberry pi as a portable server. The method used is the method of research and development (Research and Development) with the technique of observation, interviews and literature studies that are tailored to the needs of learning media in SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon. The test technique for this distance learning system uses the Black Box, namely testing is done by checking all statements in the program that are executed at least once and server testing is carried out by 30 students of industrial electronics engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon. The results of this study are a web server that runs on a raspberry pi 4 and can be accessed via a local or public network. The advantages of this tool are that it is cheaper than a server and is portable so that it can be moved from one place to another. The test results show that the server running on the raspberry pi 4 can function properly and can be implemented based on its purpose.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reading interest on the learning achievement of PGSD students in the Introduction to Education course. The research method used is a quantitative approach method. The population in this study were PGSD students. The sampling technique of the study used a sampling technique. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire. The main instrument in this study was a questionnaire on reading interest and learning achievement. The results showed that the students who became the object of this research based on data analysis showed that by calculating Rcount, a value of 0.981 was obtained, then the value was compared with Rtable at a significant level of 5%, namely 0.432, indicating that Rcount > Rtable, so the hypothesis (H0) was rejected and (H1) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between reading interest on he learning achievement of PGSD students in introductory education courses.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Sparkol VideoScribe learning media in improving student learning outcomes in computer systems subjects with number systemmaterial. The research method used is the survey method. The population used in this study were students of class X Multimedia 1 SMK Manba'ul 'Ulum Cirebon with a sample of 40 students. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, in which a sampling technique is used with certain considerations. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are research (survey and observation), literature/documentation studies, questionnaires/questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study show: 1) The application of sparkol videoscribe learning media in teaching and learning activities in the classroom, students who are assisted with learning media have a much more significant increase compared to conventional methods. That way, with sparkol videoscribe media, the material presented will be much more concrete and interesting which will produce outputs, one of which is increased learning outcomes; 2) Sparkol VideoScribe learning media has an effect on improving student learning outcomes. With that, there is a positive and significant relationship between the sparkol videoscribe learning media and student learning outcomes, where the value of R = 0.356 and R Square is 0.287 (0.536 x 0.536 = 0.287) which means that the contribution of Sparkol VideoScribe (X) on Student Learning Outcomes (Y) is 28.8%.

Abstract

Analyzing student performance in education is an active and fairly new area of educational research. Mapping student performance is useful for both teachers and students. However, the factors that affect student performance need to be identified first to build the initial predictive model. The clustering of UAS scores acts as an indicator of whether the spread of knowledge from teachers to students is evenly distributed or not. This is very relevant to the state of the covid pandemic that is happening in Indonesia and the world, we can know which clusters of students are truly self-study or not. K-Means can be used to map students' academic abilities, in order to optimize student learning and understanding.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are influenced by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors come from within students and external factors that come from outside students. Internal factors such as students' abilities, interests and motivation to learn, while external factors such as environmental conditions, schools and learning quality. The use of media in learning can help the limitations of educators in conveying information as well as the limitations of class hours. The media serves as a source of information on learning materials and as a source of practice questions. The quality of learning is also influenced by individual differences of students, both differences in learning styles, differences in cognitive abilities, differences in learning speed, and differences in background. This research and development aims to develop learning media for Android-based network server administration on basic network server administration materials, knowing the process of designing learning media developed, and making learning media developed using smart apps creators. There is no android-based learning media in the subject of network server administration. From the results of the preliminary study, it can be illustrated that the learning media used in the learning process still use paper and print media. Student learning outcomes are still far from expectations (KKM). Software development uses the waterfall model development method. In the waterfall there are several main stages that describe software development activities. The reason for using the waterfall method is because the stages in system development in the waterfall model are clearly structured.
