Abstract

Dynamic Job shops non deterministic scheduling problem is concerned with ordering some operations that processed by certain machines with variable and unknown arrival time of jobs. When new jobs arrive, it requires modifications in the existing schedule. We use Genetic Algorithm approach to the dynamic job shop non deterministic scheduling and rescheduling problem. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penjadwalan job shop dinamis non deterministik merupakan persoalan pengurutan sejumlah operasi yang diproses pada mesin-mesin tertentu dengan urutan pengerjaan berbeda untuk setiap job yang berbeda, dimana kedatangan job tersebut bervariasi dan tidak diketahui sebelumnya. Penjadwalan ulang diperlukan bila telah disusun suatu jadwal dan kemudian tiba suatu pekerjaan baru. Algoritma genetik dapat dipergunakan untuk menyusun jadwal maupun untuk menyisipkan jadwal saat ada penambahan pekerjaan tanpa mengubah jadwal yang telah dikerjakan sebelumnya. Kata kunci: algoritma genetik, penjadwalan dan penjadwalan ulang job shop dinamis non deterministik.

Abstract

The Team Orienteering Problem With Time Windows (TOPTW) is a transportation problem case that have a set of vertices with a score, service time, and the time windows, start and final at a depot location. A number of paths are constructed to maximize the total collected score by the vertices which is visited. Each vertice can be visited only once and the visit can only start during the  time window of vertices. This paper proposes a Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm for solving the TOPTW, by defining a specific particle for representing the solution of TOPTW within the PSO algorithm and two alternatives, called PSO_TOPTW1 and PSO_TOPTW2, for translating the particle position to form the routes of the path. The performance of the proposed PSO algorithm is evaluated through some benchmark data problem available in the literature. The computational results show that the proposed PSO is able to produce sufficiently good TOPTW solutions that are comparable with corresponding solutions from other existing methods for solving the TOPTW.

Abstract

This paper describes the application of the Six Sigma methods is used in order to improve quality in manufacturing company that produce stationary product. DMAIC approach is utilized to analyze and improve 'Pocket Clear File' product since this product has more variability and defects. Quality improvement also monitor the process that influenced pocket defect in Bag Making, Kami-ire, Karidome, and Pocket after Karidome Inspections section. Determining of Six Sigma project is based in process and defect type in each section. FMEA also gave the recommendation for quality improvement we need to evaluate the final result of the improvement since some of them were not working properly. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Paper ini menggambarkan bagaimana aplikasi metode Six Sigma digunakan untuk melakukan perbaikan kualitas pada perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi produk stationary. Pendekatan DMAIC dipakai untuk menganalisa dan melakukan perbaikan produk 'Pocket Clear File' karena tingginya variabilitas dan cacat dibanding produk lain. Perbaikan kualitas juga memperhatikan proses yang mempengaruhi terjadinya cacat pocket pada section Bag Making, Kami-ire, Karidome, dan Pocket after Karidome Inspection. Penentuan proyek Six Sigma didasarkan atas proses dan jenis cacat pada setiap section. Pendekatan FMEA mampu memberi rekomendasi perbaikan kualitas. Evaluasi dari hasil perbaikan penting untuk dilakukan karena beberapa implementasi perbaikan kualitas tidak berjalan sesuai dengan rencana. kata kunci: six sigma, DMAIC, perusahaan stationary.

Abstract

A model of production planning in Crude Palm Oil industry is discussed on this paper. An interactive model is made due to the involvement of decision maker’s preference in production planning. The model is built for Nucleus-Plasma palm estate system. The sources of fresh palm fruit bunches are obtained from nucleus estate, plasma estate and outsourcing. A single objective fuzzy linear programming model is built with the following steps: (1) Decision variables, parameters are identified from the real system of Crude Palm Oil industry as well as determination of constraints and objective function; (2) Fuzzy parameters are determined using modified S curve membership function. Linear programming model is also formulated at this step. Risk quality of raw material is represented by percentage of defect raw material; (3) Model is then validated using data from Nucleus-Plasma palm estate system. The result shows that S curve membership function is able to represent the preference of decision makers. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia: Tulisan ini membahas sebuah model perencanaan produksi dalam kerangka rantai pasok agroindustri crude palm oil (minyak sawit mentah). Model dibuat interaktif karena melibatkan preferensi pengambil keputusan dalam perencanaan produksi. Model dibangun pada lingkup perkebunan yang menggunakan sistem Perkebunan Inti Rakyat (PIR). Sumber pasokan tandan buah segar berasal dari kebun inti, kebun petani plasma, dan kebun luar. Konsep pemodelan yang diterapkan adalah programa linear fuzzy dengan obyektif tunggal. Model dikembangkan dalam beberapa tahapan. Pertama, mengidentifikasi variabel, parameter, kendala dan fungsi obyektif. Kedua, menetapkan parameter fuzzy dengan fungsi keanggotaan berbentuk kurva S dimodifikasi. Pada tahap ini dilakukan formulasi model dalam bentuk programa linear. Resiko kualitas yang berasal dari bahan baku direpresentasikan dalam bentuk persen jumlah cacat. Ketiga, melakukan pengujian model menggunakan data yang diadopsi dari sebuah perusahaan perkebunan yang mempunyai sistem PIR. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa model mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengakomodir preferensi pengambil keputusan. Abstract

The determination of the price should meet certain criteria, both from the society and the company itself. The combination of various criteria will result in another problem. Fuzzy Logic covers all influencing factors and displays the membership function graphic. Furthermore, by implementing fuzzy rules and fuzzy operator, the right price can be determined which covers all the factors above. The determination of the rules is based on the raw material cost, direct labor cost, distribution cost and the customers' opinion regarding the appropriate price. Then, the model is designed with the help of Matlab software. The result is finally obtained in the form of a model performed by Matlab software. The model displays the output concerning the selling price of the product for each change in the dominant factors.
