Abstract

This study aims to improve the speaking skills of children in group B through the Role Playing method in OneRoof State Kindergarten 01 Hamparan Perak. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR).The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years in class B, totaling 13 people, consisting of 7girls and 6 boys. The object of this research is an effort to improve speaking skills through role playing. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, documentation, and performance/ability (performance test). This research was conducted in two cycles consisting of 4 meetings. Data analysis techniques using percentages. After doing cycles I and II, it was found that there was an increase in the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years. So it can be concluded that role playing can improve the speaking skills of childrenin group B aged 5-6 years in Satu Atap O1 Kindergarten, Hamparan Perak

Abstract

Teachers realize that each student has different abilities, there are students who can understand the material presented quickly, moderately and slowly. Of course we are very happy if participants can understand the lesson quickly, on the other hand a teacher faces and accepts the situation of students who are indeed slow in learning, based on this problem, this study was conducted aiming to examine strategies that can be applied by classroom teachers in teaching slow students. study. The research method used by the researcher is the literature review method, namely the process of placing, obtaining, reading and evaluating various research literatures related to or related to the problem being studied. The data from this study are the results of research related to the problem of teacher strategies in teaching slow learner students.

Abstract

Early age is an important period for children to develop, especially in children's cognitive development. Cognitive processes are closely related to the level of intelligence which refers to thinking, knowledge, and reasoning where this cognitive concerns the development of children's thinking. To improve aspects of cognitive development at an early age, one of them is by using the STEAM learning model. STEAM is a learning approach that is based on the relationship of knowledge and skills of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) to solve problems. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the STEAM learning model in early childhood cognitive development. This study uses qualitative methods and data collection techniques using the library method by collecting several journals and articles related to STEAM learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of using Quizizz learning media on Children’s English language skills aged 5-6 years in TK Kalam Kudus-2 Medan. Sample in this study were children from class B-Joy, totaling 13 children. This research is experimental research with Pre-Experimental approach, one group pretest and posttest design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data from this study were analyzed by statistics using SPSS 22 with the formula mean, median, mode, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Paired-sample t-test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the children's English vocabulary skills on the Pre-test were obtained an average of 11.53 with a percentage of 48% and after the treatment or Posttest has increased with an average score of 17.38 with a percentage of 78%. And based on the hypothesis test, the results of the Paired sample t-test analysis show the results of t count < t table (value -21,354 < 2,178) and a significant value of 0.02 < 0.05. In accordance with the criteria, if t count < t table, it mean that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it means that Quizizz learning media Affect the children's English vocabulary skills aged 5-6 years in TK Kalam Kudus-2 Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Inquiry Learning Strategy through Planting Sprouts on Science Ability of 5-6 Years Old Children at Anastasia Deli Serdang Kindergarten. The sample in this study was children class B2 totaling 20 people. This research is an experimental research with a Pre-experimental One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data of the study were analyzed statistically by using SPSS 22 with the formula mean, median, mode, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, one-sample t- test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average score of children's science abilities in the pretest was 8 with a percentage of 50% while after the treatment or posttest it increased with an average score of 11 with a percentage of 70%. The results of t count > t table then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected (value 27,053 > 2,093) and a significant value of 0.23 > 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an Influence of Inquiry Learning Strategy through Planting Sprouts Activities on the Science Ability of Children 5 - 6 Years Old at Anastasia Deli Serdang Kindergarten

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of open ended learning model on Student’s mathematics learning outcomes of addition material in class I SDN 101735 Sei Semayang. This research is experimental research with Quantitative approach with One Group Pre Test Post Test Design. The population in this study were first grade students of SDN 101735 Sei Semayang. Sampling technique is Total Sampling. The sample of this study were 28 students. The data collection technique were carried out throught test, observation and documentation. Data was analyzed by t test. Based on the t test result, it found that sign.(2 – tailed) for Pre - test and Post - test was 0.000 < 0.05, It Means that hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an influence of open ended learning model on Student’s mathematics learning outcomes of addition material in class I SDN 101735 Sei Semayang in Academic Year of 2021/2022

Abstract

This research aimedto determine edutainment learning with puppet voice magic at RA A-Ql ur'an Iqro Pematangsiantar. This research is packaged with qualitative research methods, with data collected using active participation observation techniques, sem-sitructured interviews, and documentation. After data collection, then proceed with data analysis by reducing adta, presenting data, and verifying data.The results of this study indicate that the magic of the voice of the doll that makes the doll speak for itself will provide fun learning for early childhood because it still has a strong enough imagination poweTrh. e benefits obtained such as being able to encourage children to come to school, develop children's courage, and also develop children's communication skills

Abstract

The rapid development of the flow of technology and media has had an impact on various sectors in society, one of which is the use of good and correct language. Nowadays, especially among elementary school students, a new trend is emerging, namely slang. Slang is a language that students usually use by using cool terms in everyday speaking. Some examples of slang vocabulary are "mantul", "santuy", and so on. The use of language causes polemics in society towards the development of Indonesian language among lower grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of slang on Indonesian, to determine slang vocabulary, the development of slang among lower grade elementary school students, as well as the positive and negative impacts of slang. The method used in data collection uses a survey method given to several respondents and also a literature study method obtained from books, magazines, and the internet related to the problems being studied. The novelty in this study is the use of slang on the development of Indonesian among lower grade elementary school students.

Abstract

In the learning preparation process, the school or foundation needs to prepare learning activities at school. Things that must be prepared are such as adequate school facilities, then the teacher's method of teaching. The importance of having school facilities for the convenience of students in the learning process, in this case it is necessary to develop existing facilities at the school. For the learning process, there is also a need for teacher supervision of children in learning and outside the classroom, because teacher supervision of children is needed by students in their activities while at school. Supervision can be interpreted as a process of monitoring activities to ensure that all organizational operations are carried out as intended and the process of correcting deviations that will hinder the achievement of objectives. For teachers, absence from teaching according to schedule is sometimes unavoidable, considering that one time they had a sudden need at the same time so they did not teach. However, this becomes unnatural if the absence or delay of teaching in class always and frequently occurs. This has a negative impact on the learning process. First, students become disillusioned, and this can reduce their learning motivation. Students get a bad example of discipline. Second, teachers who teach earnestly feel that their efforts are futile and at the same time disappointed. What they built was broken by their professional colleagues. Not to mention, if a teacher who is disciplined in teaching earns the same income as a teacher who rarely teaches in class. A teacher can be called a professional if he has 4 (four) competencies, namely pedagogical competence, professional competence, personality competence, and social competence. The researcher uses qualitative data analysis techniques, because this study uses many words instead of numbers. Therefore, we use qualitative data analysis techniques.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan pendidikan untuk menunjang pembinaan dan merangsang anak sejak dini. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kemampuan pendidik dalam membuat RPPH, yakni belum dapat melaksanakan dengan baik dan belum dapat menerapkan RPPH tersebut dengan benar. Adapun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian yang merupakan rancangan bagi guru untuk melaksanakan kegiatan bermain yang memfasilitas anak dalam proses belajar. Berdasarkan dari permasalahan ini penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana kemampuan membaca dan menulis anak serta apakah RPPH yang dijalankan sesuai dengan pembelajaran yang berlangsung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah metode kualitatif dengan cara melakukan observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dari penelitian ini adalah hasil penelitian yang dikaji terkait persoalan pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai dengan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian.
