Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan supervisi akademik dan budaya sekolah dengan motivasi kerja guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Jati Asih Kota Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 110 guru SMP Negeri dari tiga sekolah di Kecamatan Jati Asih Kota Bekasi, yaitu SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bekasi, SMP Negeri 30 Kota Bekasi, dan SMP Negeri 39 Kota Bekasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berstruktur. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi parsial dan berganda, serta teknik regresi linear sederhana dan regresi berganda. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, terdapat hubungan positif antara supervisi akademik (X1) dengan motivasi kerja guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi ry1 = 0,652 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 42,5%. Kedua, terdapat hubungan positif antara budaya sekolah (X2) dengan motivasi kerja guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi ry2 = 0,613 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 37,6%. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan positif antara supervisi akademik (X1) dan budaya sekolah (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan motivasi kerja guru (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi jamak Ry.123 = 0,743 dan koefisien determinasi sebesar 55,2%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan supervisi akademik dan budaya sekolah dengan motivasi kerja guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Jati Asih Kota Bekasi, artinya motivasi kerja guru dapat ditingkatkan dengan meningkatkan supervisi akademik dan budaya sekolah. Abstract The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the relationship between academic supervision and school culture with the work motivation of state junior high school teachers in Jati Asih District, Bekasi City. The research method used is a survey with a correlational approach. The research sample consisted of 110 state junior high school teachers from three schools in Jati Asih sub-district, Bekasi city, namely SMP Negeri 9 Bekasi City, SMP Negeri 30 Bekasi City, and SMP Negeri 39 Bekasi City. The data collection technique used a structured questionnaire. Data analysis used partial and multiple correlation techniques, as well as simple linear regression and multiple regression techniques. The findings of this study are: First, there is a positive relationship between academic supervision (X1) and teacher work motivation (Y) with a correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.652 and a determination coefficient of 42.5%. Second, there is a positive relationship between school culture (X2) and teacher work motivation (Y) with a correlation coefficient of ry2 = 0.613 and a coefficient of determination of 37.6%. Third, there is a positive relationship between academic supervision (X1) and school culture (X2) together with teacher work motivation (Y) with multiple correlation coefficient Ry123 = 0.743 and coefficient of determination of 55.2%. The conclusion of this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between academic supervision and school culture with the work motivation of state junior high school teachers in Jati Asih District, Bekasi City, this means that teacher work motivation can be increased by increasing academic supervision and school culture.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the improvement in students’ verbal intelligence resulting from improved the quantity and quality of vocabulary. The study undertook correlation analysis to identify the relationships between research variables, i.e., vocabulary bank and quantity of vocabulary items; the quantity of vocabulary items and quality of vocabulary understanding; quality of vocabulary understanding, and verbal intelligence. The research was undertaken in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Al-Islam Balesari, located in Balesari Village, Windusari District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The research sample comprised 50% of all students in the fourth grade and included 9 out of 37 students. The data collection technique in this study was the observation of the correlation between teachers and fourth-grade students at MI Al-Islam Balesari. The data analysis technique used was the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that the vocabulary bank strategy improved students' verbal intelligence. This impacts increased interest and motivation among the students concerning, students' speed in understanding the matters learned, the quality of the reconstruction of aspects studied to be reiterated both written and oral, and improved quantity and quality of students' vocabulary comprehension. Students find it easy to understand the lesson because the information conveyed uses language media that they can understand.

Abstract

This article discusses about the implementation of the independent learning curriculum (MBKM) in facing disruption era and society 5.0 at MAS KMI Padang Panjang. The industrial revolution 4.0 caused changes in every single live quickly. The existension of humans is replaced by technology. Society 5.0 is coming as an answer to these challenges. Society 5.0 means that the concept of a human based on technology. Indonesia also tries to create superior human who are ready to go to international scale. MBKM was born as the government's effort to create human beings with superior quality and ready to balance the developments. This research is a field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation and interviews. The data collection instruments are observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and data verification. As for testing the validity of the data is using data triangulation techniques. The results of the study describe how the implementation of independent learning in MAS KMI Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang. MAS KMI Padang Panjang applied individual project-based learning, integration projects and independent curriculum projects, a form of assessment that is not only focus on kognitive aspects but also in affective, aesthetic, physical and social which is contained in 29 indicators of the Quba curriculum, called domain circle, the majoring system is carried out in class XI, a mini thesis munaqasyah session in 3 languages by class XII students, as well as an increase in student HOTS.Keywords: MBKM, Disruption, Society 5.0, MAS KMI Padang Panjang

Abstract

Character education will become a program that will be implemented by all levels of education, where in the 21st century many things will occur, including changes in learning models, and changes in sophisticated technology that will cause changes in the way we communicate. This change is balanced with student character education, it needs to be developed with character values ​​not only in the cognitive domain but also at other levels such as affective and psychomotor. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Praya Central Lombok. Sources of research data are school principals, vice principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques from observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out interactively and took place continuously until the collected data was saturated, the activities in data analysis were data collection, data presentation, and concluding/verifying data condensation. There are four criteria to see the validity of research data, namely: Credibility, Transferability, Dependability, and Confirmability. The results of the study show that the implementation of character education has been well implemented in various fields. This can be seen from the results of the implementation of character education at Praya 1 Public High School, which has been able to respond to the needs of students and develop their potential and interests of students.

Abstract

This paper describes about the problems in the speech act of Non-English department students especially in speaking class. Assessing the product tends to be more difficult than assessing the receptive skills namely listening and reading. The lecturer needs to pay more attention in assessing these skills, especially for non-English department students who are in the beginning level of English ability. Therefore, the aims of this research were to find out: The test format, marking criteria and the scoring scheme used by the lecturers in assessing students‘ productive skills in part of Speech Act. This study used descriptive qualitative method.  Data  collection  techniques  were carried out through observation, recording, and carried  notes  taking  techniques. The subject of this research is the 1st-semester student of the accounting program. The data were taken from observation, interview and document analysis. The results of this research were : 1) The test formats used by the teachers to assess speaking skills were interview, picture description, and presentation. The criteria used by the teachers were pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency for speaking assessment. The lecturers use the scoring scale to score students‘ productive skills. The scale itself depends on the criteria or language components which were being assessed and each scale of score has its own description.

Abstract

This research describes about the problems of writing in university level. Writing becomes a challenging and complicated skill to master. Some of components must be involved and integrated proportionally. Therefore, project-based learning is offered to solve the problems. This study purposes to explore the improvement of project-based learning in the students’ writing in the fourth semester students of the English Education Program and the students’ responses when it is implied in learning writing. Qualitative was used as a research method and classroom action research as a research design. The research sample was fourth-semester students from English Education Program in a university in Magelang, Central Java in the academic year 2022-2023. To collect the data it is using observation, test, and questionnaire then for analyzing the data is using triangulation. The result found that project-based learning is able to improve the students writing achievements. It could be seen from the increasing of the score for each cycle (writing better) and students’ positive responses during the implementation of this method from improving of students’ activeness and motivation in writing learning. So it can be stated that Project Based Learning increases mark and encouragement of students’ writing learning.

Abstract

The madrasa head is a very important and strategic factor in the framework of improving the quality and progress of the madrasa he leads. It can be seen that to achieve the quality and progress of the madrasa, the head of the madrasa is a role model for the entire madrasa community who have the ability to plan better and more advanced madrasas. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. This research is located at the Baiturrahman Dompu Islamic Elementary School. Data analysis uses display data, data condensation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the principal has been able to plan and develop educational resources and the planning carried out by the principal has been able to meet the needs of teachers and students both directly and indirectly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal Penilaian Harian Bersama (PHB) Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023 Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas VII MTs Negeri 5 Magelang dengan menggunakan analisis butir soal model klasik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian noneksperimental dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Data dianalisis melalui tabel dan diagram untuk mengidentifikasi variasi indeks tingkat kesulitan (ITK) butir soal yang diujikan, indeks daya beda (IDB), dan efektivitas butir pengecoh dari setiap butir soal. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat variasi tingkat kesulitan dalam butir soal, dengan mayoritas butir soal masuk dalam kategori sukar dan sedang. Dari 35 butir soal ditemukan bahwa 3 soal berkategori sukar, 19 soal berkategori sedang, dan 13 soal berkategori mudah. Analisis IDB menunjukkan mayoritas butir soal masuk dalam kategori jelek, namun terdapat juga butir soal dengan tingkat daya beda yang baik. Ditemukan 17 soal berkategori jelek, 11 soal berkategori cukup, 6 soal berkategori baik, dan 1 soal berkategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan temuan nilai ITK dan IDB oke, soal yang layak untuk masuk dalam bank soal sejumlah 14 butir soal. Evaluasi terhadap efektivitas butir pengecoh juga dilakukan, dengan temuan bahwa terdapat variasi dalam tingkat pengecoh dari pilihan jawaban. Analisis keefektivan butir pengecoh menunjukkan adanya soal dengan pilihan butir pengecoh yang berfungsi dengan baik dan pengecoh yang tidak berfungsi. Hanya terdapat 4 butir soal dengan keefektifan pengecoh yang baik dan 31 soal dengan keefektivan pengecoh yang tidak baik. Kesimpulannya, peninjauan dan perbaikan pada butir soal yang tergolong sulit dan mudah serta penyesuaian pada butir pengecoh perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas alat tes dan pengukuran prestasi siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Program Pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila didukung oleh fasilitas Pendidikan yang tersedia dan berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan. Jenis metode penulisan artikel ini adalah kualitatif, pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan atau library research. Penulis mencari dan mengumpulkan informasi mengenai manajemen sarana dan prasarana Pendidikan dari sumber-sumber Pustaka meliputi artikel jurnal. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengertian manajemen sarana dan prasarana Pendidikan, tujuan dan prinsip sarana dan prasarana dan ruang lingkup manajemen sarana dan prasarana Pendidikan yang meliputi: perencanaan, pengadaan, pemeliharaan, inventarisasi dan penghapusan serta factor penghambat dan solusi hambatan tersebut. Keberhasilan program pendidikan baik formal maupun nonformal dipengaruhi oleh manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang memadai disertai pemanfaatan dan pengelolaan secara optimal.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are part of the 21st century skills that must be mastered by students. Whether writing skill is the main competency that should be mastered in learning English. One of the reasons for the lack of development of students' critical thinking skills in writing preference sentences is that their low enthusiasm for learning is caused by learning activities that are not give any other variation. This study aims to obtain findings related to the application of learning activities with the round robin technique, such as the increase in students' critical thinking skills in their writing preferences, by applying and observing how much effectiveness this type of learning has. This research is classified as quantitative research with the type of quasi-experimental research that conducts experiments through a pretest and posttest control group design with samples used by students of classes VII G and VII I at SMPN 21 Semarang. The research subjects were obtained using a random sampling technique, which was determined based on random choices. Essay tests are used as a tool to test critical thinking skills with preferred research material. The research results obtained based on the results of the significance test obtained an N-Gain percentage of 57.35%. This result is include to the quite effective category. In accordance with this results, it can be concluded that the use of round-robin type can improve critical thinking skills in writing preferences by class VII students of SMPN 21 Semarang effectively.
