Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the face-to-face learning process at MTs Al-Iman Way Jepara during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data from this study were obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the face-to-face learning process has a positive impact on students, such as students receiving direct guidance from the teacher, students can socialize well among friends, and students can take advantage of school facilities. Meanwhile, the face-to-face learning process applied at MTs Al-Iman during this pandemic is generally still the same as that applied on normal days, it's just that the difference is that the time allocation is simplified / accelerated. This is considering the Health protocol that has been implemented by the government. The contribution of this research to education in Indonesia is to provide an overview of the National Education Institution of the importance of face-to-face learning. Given that it has been one year students have not enjoyed the learning process in the classroom

Abstract

Abstrak This study aims to determine the level of interest in reading and student achievement and to determine the effect of interest in reading on student achievement in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MI Al-Iman Islam Way Jepara. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of class VI Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Iman Islam Way Jepara, totaling 20 people. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire and observation. Data analysis was carried out with the help of the SPSS 25 program consisting of descriptive statistical analysis, data normality test and hypothesis testing. From the statistical calculation of hypothesis testing between reading interest on student achievement based on data from hypothesis testing results, it was obtained a value of R = 0.594 which showed there was a moderate correlation between reading interest and learning achievement. This is supported by the value of R Square = 0.353 or the determinant coefficient is 35%. Which means reading interest affects learning achievement by 35%, the rest is influenced by other factors. While it is known that t arithmetic is greater than t table, namely 3.136 > 2.101, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be interpreted that "There is an Influence of Reading Interest (X) on Learning Achievement (Y)".

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the process of learning tahfidz using the talaqqi method at SMP IT Baitul Muslim Way Jepara. This type of research is qualitative research. The research instruments used in this study were interviews and observations. Based on the research results obtained from interviews and observations, there are 3 stages in the tahfidz learning process using the talaqqi method at SMP IT Baitul Muslim Way Jepara, namely the planning stage, implementation stage and solving obstacles in implementation. The tahfidz learning process using the talaqqi method has the advantage that the teacher is more free to supervise the development of his students directly. In addition, children can see directly the movements of the educator's lips in pronouncing makhorijul letters because they are dealing directly. While the drawback of the talaqqi method is that it cannot be used classically because it is less effective. In addition, students will feel bored waiting for their turn to be tested by rote by the teacher because the teacher has to test individually.

Abstract

Abstract During PAIBP learning, students were less than optimal in discussing, only certain children were active so that student learning activities were less than optimal. This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of PAIBP students through the application of the STAD method using LKS, interviews, and evaluation of student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which consists of three cycles. The data collection technique used in this study is in the form of observational data from student activities during the learning process and the application of the STAD method. The results showed an increase from each cycle. This is evident from the results of student activity observation sheets which continue to increase in each cycle. This means that the application of the STAD cooperative method using LKS can improve student PAIBP learning outcomes, this can be seen from the lowest average percentage of PAIBP student learning outcomes during the pre-cycle of 36%, in the first cycle of 65.63% of 32 students , while in the second cycle of 84,38% of 32 students and in the third cycle of 86.50% of 32 students, so most of the students have completed. Meanwhile, the increase in student PAIBP learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II was 18.75% and the increase in student PAIBP learning outcomes from cycle II to cycle III was 2.12%. So, based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD method using LKS can increase the activities and learning outcomes of PAIBP students in class X IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Way Jepara, East Lampung.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to improve the appropriate learning implementation plan; The final assessment refers to the learning objectives; Increasing the value of learning outcomes. The research took place in three cycles, STAD learning with the help of LKS in the first cycle of groups based on the results of the free test, high grade students being trained by the teacher to help their peers controlled by the teacher, STAD learning with the help of LKS in the second cycle of groups based on the results of the first cycle test, high grade students To help peers, STAD learning with the help of LKS in the third cycle of groups is based on the results of the second cycle of tests. Data were collected by observation, questionnaires, tests and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of this classroom action research: The teacher is able to design the right lesson plans with the help of LKS; Implementation of proper learning because student learning activities have increased from the first cycle to the third cycle; There is an increase in the value of learning outcomes from cycle 1 to cycle 3, because the evaluation refers to the learning objectives written in the lesson plan; The increase in the value of learning outcomes in the first cycle is 65.63%, the second cycle is 84.38%, the third cycle is 84.38%.

Abstract

Abstract One of the basic problems of society in this modern era is the difficulty of getting a job after graduating from high school (SMA) for students who do not continue their education. SMA Islam Kepanjen has an extracurricular empowering program as a provisioning of skills for preparing the students to enter the world of work. Extracurricular empowering is a product offered by SMA Islam Kepanjen to attract public interest for choosing their education. This research aims to analyze and to describe the concepts of planning, implementation and implication of extracurricular empowering for improving the school competitiveness in SMA Islam Kepanjen Malang. It used a qualitative research with research design of case study. Data was obtained through interview techniques, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used the model of Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing /verification. Checking the validity of the data used source triangulation. This research shows that (1) the planning of extracurricular empowering activities is by forming a special team, establishing partnerships, conducting coordination meetings for setting goals and objectives, and procuring special facilities and infrastructure to support extracurricular empowering activities. (2) Implementation of extracurricular empowering activities includes the executor of extracurricular empowering activities. They are the head of the empowering section and the instructors from partnership. The implementation of extracurricular empowering activities is scheduled every Saturday without curricular activities for 2 years and the competency test is conducted at the end of the second year. (3) The implication of extracurricular empowering activities is an improving of SMA Islam Kepanjen’s achievements in the non-academic field and an increase in the number of students of SMA Islam Kepanjen around 15-20% each year.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of contemporary fiqh due to the discussion method used in learning. Where there were only a few students who played an active role, the rest were just silent and listened. This study aims to increase students' understanding of STAI Darussalam Lampung in Contemporary Jurisprudence Courses through problem-based learning models. The method in this study used the classroom action research (PTK) method by adopting the Kurt Lewin model using 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were 4th and 6th semester students majoring in ahwal asy-syaksiyyah. The results of this study are that there is a significant increase in the ability to understand theory and students are able to think critically and thoroughly.

Abstract

Abstract The background of this research was obtained from the results of initial observations, namely the low ability to think critically and the low achievement of students learning science at SMPN 1 Panekan. This research is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles. The action of this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model to the material of light and optical devices. The purpose of this action is to improve learning outcomes and critical thinking of SMPN 1 Panekan students. The subjects of this study consisted of 31 students of class VIII B at Panekan 1 Public Middle School. The object of this research is an increase in critical thinking attitudes and science learning outcomes after receiving special actions in the learning process. The data needed in this study were obtained through observation and tests. From this study, it was found that there was an increase in critical thinking skills from the initial condition of an average of 59.62 to 74.25 in cycle I and increased to 82.56 in cycle II. Knowledge learning outcomes increased starting from the initial average value of 56.93, to 76.45 in cycle I, increasing to 85.64 in cycle II.

Abstract

AbstractCommunication skills in learning are really needed considering the developmentof an increasingly competitive era. From the results of observations carried outat SMPN 1 Ngariboyo it was stated that students' communication skills were stilllacking in communication skills. Students are not active in learning activities.Then the formulation of the research problem is how are the efforts carried out inimproving the communication skills of class VII students through the PBLlearning model? The purpose of this research was to find out the improvement ofcommunication skills in class VII students. The research method used class actionresearch with 2 cycles. The research data was obtained from observations andtests of communication skills and learning activities in class, the data obtainedwas analyzed using statistics quantitative. Based on the results of observationsthat have been carried out, the results of communication skills in cycle 2 were40%, an increase of 71.37% in cycle 3. Meanwhile, the results of thecommunication skills test obtained a classical completeness score of 23.07% incycle 2 and an increase of 76. 92% in cycle 3. So the researchers drew theconclusion that the problem based learning (PBL) learning model was able toimprove students' communication skills

Abstract

The application of Tpye STAD cooperative learning to students in Class X with learning material for the teacher professional code of ethics course using hand out media went well in the implementation of student discussions individually and in groups, these activities were proven to be able to increase student learning activities. Student compliance and enthusiasm in learning using the Tye STAD cooperative learning approach is proven to increase student study results. The student learning process is more interesting because the lecturer involves all students in the discussion process so that the activities and student learning outcomes. Lecture material to be discussed has been given to students in advance, so that students have complete and in-depth materials and references in learning, thus students will get competitive knowledge and have a complete basis. Students will get complete knowledge because in the learning process because in the process the knowledge gained is not to be memorized but to be scrutinized, criticized. Results and learning activities that are taught with media handouts that contain problems that are solved individually and in groups can improve student learning outcomes. The use of hand out media in the cooperative type stad method is very capable of fostering students' thinking skills and awareness in seeking, observing and finding solutions to the problems given
