Abstract

The objectives of this study is analyzing accountability of public service in management Identity Card at tatanga District Office and the obstructed factors. The method used in this study is qualitative research, to describe the phenomena based on the fact in the research focus. The population of this study is the stake holders of Tatanga District and the public service users. Sample selection used purposive technique by selecting 6 (six) informants. Technique of data collection in this study consists of observation, interview and document. The result of the study showed that the accountability of public service in management Identity Card at the office of Tatanga District was less maximal. This was proved by 3 (three) indicators considered to be a starting point, they are service reference, attention to the public and solution. Only 1 (one) indicator showed the accountability of service is the solution. It was given by the government of the Tatanga District for the public service users had been maximally implemented. While indicator of service reference and attention to the public has not got maximal categories yet. The factors that obstructed the accountability of public service in management Identity Card at Tatanga District office which is found in this study wereunavailability of equipment to create ID card. Thus, the duty of the District government officials in service only confined to ID cards. Then the people have to complete it to another district office or Civil Registration in Hammer. Besides, the service provided from district government in management Identity Card is still oriented on arrangement or simply impressed very normative, less committed to adjust servicing values or norms that exist in society in order to create a quality of service that is oriented on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of merger and acquisition firm performance at Indonesia Stock Exchange. Firm performance is measured by financial ratios: current ratio, quick ratio, return on investment, return on equity, debt to equity ratios, fixed assets turnover, operating profit margin, price book value, price earning ratio, and abnormal return around announcement date of merger and acquisition. Sample of this research is determined by purposive sampling method, consist of 27 Indonesia Stock Exchange excluded banking that did merger and acquisition from period of 2015-2020. This research analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test for abnormal distribution data. The result of this research showed that financial ratios at 1 year before and 1 year after merger and acquisition are not all significant, except abnormal return variable, price book value and price earnings ratio indicated different significantly. This result indicated that merger and acquisition did not provide synergy for firms. Market reaction indicated that investor influenced by merger and acquisition of the firms and they believed that the announcement will give them hope about better future performance

Abstract

Kernel regression is a nonparametric analysis with smoothing method. Smoothing has become synonymous with nonparametric methods used to estimate functions. The purpose of smoothing is to remove variability from data that has no effect so that the characteristics of the data will appear clear. Kernel regression has a flexible form and the mathematical calculations are easy to adjust. In kernel regression, an estimator is known which is usually used to estimate the regression function, namely the Nadaraya-Watson estimator. This study aims to show how to estimate data using nonparametric regression Gaussian and Eponocvh kernels with the Nadaraya-Watson estimator and the bandwidth selection methods are "Rule of Thumb" bandwidth, Unbiased Cross Validation, Biased Cross Validation and Complete Cross Validation. The results of this study indicate that the MSE value generated by the Epanechnikov kernel function and the Gaussian kernel uses the optimal bandwidth. Statistically, the MSE value generated by the Epanechnikov kernel is almost close to the value in the Gaussian kernel, so it can be said that the MSE value produced by the two kernel functions is almost the same. Based on the plot of estimation results for the Eponocvh kernel function and the Gaussian kernel using the optimal bandwidth, it is very close, so it can be said that the use of a different kernel function with the optimal bandwidth for each of the kernel functions will produce the same estimated regression curve. The results of this study support the opinion expressed by Hastie and Tibshirani, which states that in kernel regression the selection of the smoothing parameter (bandwidth) is much more important than choosing the kernel function.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the use of agricultural commodities as a potential alternative medium of exchange for cash equivalents, as well as to study the area and environment in which a commodity can be selected as a medium of exchange. This research method uses a descriptive approach, interviews, focus group discussions, also determines the respondents from productive farmers in the village. The results of the study in 3 (three) target villages showed 1) several commodities; corn, coconut, candlenut, native chicken, can be an alternative medium of exchange other than cash. The effect of this choice is that these commodities have a fairly high level of production and distribution of ownership. 2) Cash reserves for productive farmers are not balanced with the amount of production of some of these commodities which tend to be higher when converted to local cash prices.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the physical feasibility of bonebula beach which is then continued by measuring the matrix of land suitability that has been owned by Bonebula Beach to become viable as a beach tourism object, then developed using SWOT analysis method to make Bonebula beach one of the favorite tourist attractions in Donggala Regency, especially beach tourism objects. The type of research conducted is quantitative descriptive with the geographical approach used that is the ecological approach. This research uses observation techniques and measurements directly in the field as well as data collection through library study. The results showed that bonebula beach is broadly in the appropriate category (S2) to be developed into a coastal tourist attraction with indicators of land suitability being at a value of 380 with the provision of land conformity matrix value S1= >400, S2= 200 -400, S3= 100-200, and NT= <100. While the feasibility level of Bonebula Beach tourism was developed by SWOT analysis method, the matrix used in this study using ifas matrix and EFAS obtained SWOT diagram with SO strategy that has strength and opportunity. Bonebula Beach Tourism Object has a great opportunity as a favorite tourist destination in Donggala Regency. the matrix used in this study using ifas matrix and EFAS obtained SWOT diagram with SO strategy that has strength and opportunity. Abstract

This research was carried out at the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Tadulako University, odd semester 2021/2022. The purpose of this study was (1) to determine the application of the Case Method and Team Based Project (CM-TBPj) methods in learning Indonesian Language and Literature Research courses for Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students. (2) to determine the quality of learning outcomes of Indonesian Language and Literature Research courses for Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program students through the application of Case Method and Team Based Project (CM-TBPj). This type of research is classroom action research. The flow of this research activity consists of two lines, the first is a case method and a team based project, which is preceded by developing a case framework that will be used in the study of Language and Literature Research courses, then followed by collecting an evaluation test of the quality of learning after the case scenario has been carried out. Data was collected using test and non-test techniques. The research data is in the form of the CM-TBPj learning planning design and its implementation is observed and assessed by peers using the CM-TBPj learning planning and implementation instrument in Indonesian Language and Literature Research learning. The results showed that the planning of CM-TBPj was very well designed with a score of 3.5 and the implementation of CM-TBPj in Indonesian Language and Literature Research learning was carried out very well with a score of 4.0. The results also show that CM-TBPj-based Indonesian Language and Literature Research Learning activities can create an authentic, collaborative, and participatory learning atmosphere in solving real problems/cases in Indonesian Language and Literature Research to achieve course learning objectives (CPMK) with a value of the average student learning outcomes Study Group 1 = 85 (A), Study Group 2 = 88 (A), Study Group 3 = 87 (A), Study Group 4 = 88 (A), and Study Group V = 90 (A ).
