Abstract

Manpower is one of the important human resources often limited availability, either due to quality factors or other reasons. In the construction phase, there is often a problem of unequal labor requirements that affect the allocation of labor. To minimize labor fluctuations using the resource leveling method. This study aims to determine the effect of resource leveling on the workforce on the allocation of labor on the construction under review and determine the allocation of human resources in implementation based on planning data. The object of this research is the construction of a new market in the Mandailing Natal district. The technique used in the resource leveling method research uses the help of the microsoft project program. This study shows that there is an influence of resources leveling on the workforce (workers, builders, head builders, foreman) on the allocation of labor in construction. The available workface are 50 workers, 32 carpenters, 22 carpenters, 2 head craftsmen, 1 foreman with a duration of work of 330 days. The leveling results show that with the available workforce, both with a fixed or unrestricted duration of work, there are some workers who are overallocated. From the results of the analysis, for a work duration of 330 days, the required number of workers includes 91 workers, 41 carpenters, 16 carpenters, 3 head craftsmen, 3 foreman.

Abstract

Transportation infrastructure planning that was not carried out properly causes road disruption in urban areas. Jl. Balaikota, Jl. Putri Hijau, Jl. Yos Sudarso and Jl. Willem Iskandar are the network secondary road in the city of Medan, which is a diversion route for the main traffic flow transportation from and to the city to reduce primary arterial road burdens and traffic density in the city. Indicators to road traffic performance in order to understanding traffic behavior are vehicle speed, density, and traffic volume. Direct observation surveys were conducted to collect speed and traffic volume datas. The density value is obtained from the relationship between the two parameters. The Greenshield, Greenberg and Underwood result model are the maximum volume, density and speed that can be accommodated by the road segment are obtained, then linear regression analysis is carried out to select the appropriate model for the road conditions. Models for Jl. City Hall and Jl. Yos Sudarso Section 2 is Greenshield Model, Jl. Putri Hijau, Jalan Yos Sudarso Section 1 and Jl. Willem Iskandar is a Greenberg Model. Jalan Balaikota has a maximum traffic volume of 3808.40 pcu/hour, a density of 248.53 pcu/km, Jl. Putri Hijau 5107.40 pcu/hour with a density of 312.62 pcu/km, Jl. Yos Sudarso Section 1 of 1627 pcu/hour with a density of 109.17 pcu/km, Jl. Willem Iskandar Section 1 of 2897.80 pcu/hour with a density of 146.84 pcu/km and Jl. Willem Iskandar Section 2 1304.60 pcu/hour with a density of 76.28 pcu/km

Abstract

The addition of a floor is an alternative to a building and a development due to an increase in the function of the shophouse or an additional infrastructure but the available land is limited. In this study, an analysis of the structure of the existing building was carried out to determine the influence and capability of the structure when adding floors to the building. If the building structure is not able to withstand the loads that work due to the addition of floors, then elements that are not strong in the existing structure are required to strengthen the structure, strengthening with the concrete jacketing method. Analysis of the structure of the planned addition of floors by adding 1 floor so that it becomes 3 floors and then 3D modeling using the SAP2000 program. Building plan with a size of 16 mx 28 m, height 4 m on each floor, concrete quality (f'c) 30 MPa, yield stress (fy) 240 MPa for reinforcement diameter ≤ 10 mm, yield stress (fy) 400 MPa for reinforcement diameter > 10mm. The addition of the building floor to the structural elements and the loading is the same as the existing structure, the analysis of the earthquake with equivalent static and earthquake load analysis based on SNI. The result of structural analysis is the ability of the initial structure due to the addition of the floor. Reinforcement of structural elements with concrete jacketing, enlargement of dimensions and addition of reinforcement for beams and columns. Enlargement of beam dimensions 30/40 to beam 50/60, column 30/40 to 50/60. The addition of reinforcement was carried out because the calculation did not meet the requirements, 10 Ø 16 was added to the beam bearing area, 8 Ø 16 of the reinforcement field was added to the beam, while 14 Ø 16 was added to the column.

Abstract

The requirements of a road can provide a surface layer that is always flat, strong construction so as to ensure comfort and safety for service (road life) which is quite longand requires minimal maintenance in various circumstances. The increasing population growth, and the condition of the old roads that have been damaged, therefore the need for land transportation infrastructure will increase along with the increasing number of vehicles every year in Aceh Tamiang District. This situation makes the reason that the need for an appropriate and efficient method in road planning in order to obtain the best results and meet the elements of safety in road use, so it is necessary to plan the thickness of flexible pavement on the Tamiang By Pass road with a length of 5 km using the 2013 and 2017Road Pavement Design Manual Method and compare the two methods. The results of pavement thickness planning based on the 2013 Road Pavement Design Manual Method, obtained pavement layer thickness based on Alternative Design Chart 3A column FF9, namely AC-WC = 4 cm, AC-BC = 6 cm, AC-Base = 24.5 cm, LPA Class A = 15 cm , Class B LPA = 15 cm, Selected Embankment = 35 cm, and CBR of subgrade = 2.386%. The results of the pavement thickness planning based on the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual Method, obtained the thickness of the pavement layer based on the Design Chart 3B column FF7, namely AC-WC = 4 cm, AC-BC = 6 cm, AC-Base = 18 cm, LPA Class A = 15 cm, LPA Class B = 15 cm, Selected Embankment = 35 cm, and CBR of subgrade = 2,399 %. Of the two methods compared and reviewed so that each manual for flexiblepavement design is produced.

Abstract

When designing a multi-storey building structure, the basic principle must be considered, namely increasing the structure's resistance to shear forces. Shear walls are one of the most common types of lateral load structures used to increase the rigidity of the structure and to absorb large shear forces as the structure increases. Previous studies have shown that shear walls will provide different performance depending on the location of the shear walls. This final project will examine the structure of flats with 5 variations of frame wall shear walls. The structure consists of 5 floors with a height of 17.6 meters and is located in the Langsa area. This research was conducted using ETABS V18 software. The results of the analysis show the value of the deviation of the 5 models. Based on the analysis of the calculations that have been carried out, it was found that the value of the deviation between floors in the 5th variation has fulfilled the permit deviation requirements based on SNI 1726:2019 for the x and y directions with the largest deviation value, namely on the 4th floor of 49.429 mm for the x direction and on the floor not of 27.935 mm for the y direction. Shear wall modeling is considered the most effective in the structure of this apartment building, namely in variation 5 it resists lateral forces such as earthquake loads and additional floors can be added using variation 5
