Abstract

A study has been conducted to evaluate the application of the Literacy Movement in shaping the character of students at MI Al Huda, Cirebon Regency. The focus of this research is on programs such as Qiraati, readlah, Tahfidz, and literacy zones. The purpose of this research is to understand the character education applied at MI Al Huda. The character applied can encourage all students to show empathy, care, and respect for each other. So character education is an activity that is carried out consciously and helps students know good things, have noble character, are full of affection, and are intelligent. The Literacy Movement in Schools is a social initiative that involves cooperation from various sectors. One way to achieve this is to create a reading habit in students for 15 minutes. The achievement targets of the literacy movement in schools can gradually improve skills achieved through appropriate activities in elementary schools that emphasize reading, listening, and writing skills. This study uses a qualitative method by collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Literacy Movement, especially through the Literacy Movement program, is considered effective and receives support from the local community because being interested in these programs can help shape the positive character of students. The implementation of the Literacy Movement to shape the character of grade II students at MI Al Huda, Cirebon Regency has proven to be effective. Through this literacy program, students can develop a disciplined, responsible, independent, intelligent, and capable of respecting others, loving virtue, maintaining honesty, being polite, obeying rules, and obeying religious teachings. This research is expected to provide valuable information and input for the learning process in various institutions or schools, especially at MI Al Huda Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education can be started by improving the quality of teachers in teaching and professional behavior. Teacher upgrading and training is one form of the effort. The teacher coaching model to achieve the quality of learning in school is Lesson Study. Lesson Study is a "model of professional educator development through collaborative and sustainable learning learning based on the principles of collegality and mutual learning to build learning communities". The in-on-in training of lesson study implementation for madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers in the ministry of religion is an effort to improve the professionalism of madrasah teachers in managing learning. The training participants consisted of 30 madrasah ibtidaiyah teachers formed in 6 (six) groups according to grade level to carry out lesson study activities, among others: planning (plan), implement (do), and reflect (see). The final conclusion of the training participants increased their understanding of lesson study as an effort to improve the quality of learning. Abstrak Peningkatan mutu pendidikan dapat dimulai dengan meningkatkan mutu guru dalam mengajar dan berprilaku professional. Penataran dan pelatihan guru salah satu bentuk dari upaya tersebut. Model pembinaan guru untuk mencapai kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah adalah Lesson Study. Lesson Study adalah ”model pembinaan profesi pendidik melalui pengkajian pembelajaran secara kolaboratif dan berkelanjutan berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip kolegalitas dan mutual learning untuk membangun komunitas belajar”. Pelatihan in-on-in implementasi lesson study bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah di lingkungan kementerian agama adalah upaya meningkatkan profesionalitas guru madrasah dalam mengelola pembelajaran. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 30 orang guru madrasah ibtidaiyah dibentuk dalam 6 (enam) kelompok sesuai tingkatan kelas melaksanakan kegiatan lesson study antara lain : merencanakan (plan), melaksanakan (do), dan mereflekasi (see). Simpulan akhir peserta pelatihan meningkat pemahamannya terhadap lesson study sebagai upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah peningkatan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika dengan pendidikan matematika realistik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika secara konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan dua kelompok sampel yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh pembelajaran dengan pendidikan matematika realistik dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrumen berupa tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDS Muhammadiyah 24 Jakarta. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran matematika dengan PMR berbeda secara signifikan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan penelitian di atas , maka pembelajaran matematika dengan PMR sangat potensial diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.

Abstract

The use of technology in this era of the COVID-19 pandemic is very much needed. Due to the process of teaching and learning activities currently using the online system. In order to support the progress of education in Indonesia, it is necessary to develop technology-based learning media. Such as interactive multimedia based on the use of Microsoft Power Point programs. In this multimedia combines images, text, sound animation and video, so that it is effective in supporting online learning. This study uses the Research & Development method and also uses the ADDIE model in multimedia development, so that it becomes a multimedia that can be used effectively and efficiently. In addition, using interactive multimedia can build an interesting learning, as well as fun and meaningful learning. With this, it is hoped that teachers can take advantage of interactive multimedia-based power point media so that learning goals are easier to achieve even with Distance Learning (PJJ). Abstrak Pemanfaatan teknologi di era pandemic covid-19 ini sangat ini sangat dibutuhkan. Dikarenakan proses kegiatan belajar mengajar saat ini menggunakan sistem Online. Guna mendukung kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia perlu pengembangan dari media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi. Seperti Multimedia Interaktif berbasis pemanfaatan program Microsoft Power Point. Dalam multimedia ini mengkobinasikan gambar, teks, animasi suara dan video, sehingga eektif dalam mendukung pembelajran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development dan juga mneggunakan model ADDIE dalam pengembangan multimedia, agar menjadi multimedia yang dapat digunakan dengan efektif dan efisien. Selain itu menggunakan multimedia interaktif ini dapat membangun sebuah pembelajaran yang menarik, serta pembelejaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Dengan ini diharapkan bapak-ibu guru dapat memanfaatkan media berbasis multimedia interaktif power point agar tujuan pembelajaran lebih mudah tercapai walaupun dengan Pembelajarn Jarak Jauh (PJJ)

Abstract

What can make one of the main things in shaping and building the character and quality of the citizen is education. This research was conducted with the hope of wanting an identification of what characters will be shown by students in the elementary school. A research method is used which is a descriptive qualitative research method, making a research result has a character value that is applied and shown in looking at the character of students in elementary schools. By reminding a good thing requires the application and concept of education. There is also a need for a strategy used by teachers in implementing character education, for example giving a warning to students who make mistakes, so that they gain awareness. Barriers in an application of the character of elementary school students are factors of teachers, parents, environment. Abstrak Yang dapat menjadikan sebuah salah satu yang utama dalam membentuk juga membangun karakter dan juga kualitas warga negara tersebut ialah pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan harapan menginginkan suatu identifikasi karakter apa saja yang akan di tunjukkan oleh siswa siswi yang ada di Sekolah dasar tersebut. Di gunakan sebuah metode penelitian yang dimana metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, menjadikan suatu hasil penelitian mempunyai sebuah nilai karakter yang di terapkan dan ditunjukkan dalam melihat karakter siswa di sekolah dasar. Dengan mengingatkan sebuah hal baik diperlukan penerapan dan konsep pendidikan. Diperlukan juga sebuah strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter contohnya memberikan teguran kepada siswa yang membuat kesalahan, agar mereka memperoleh kesadaran. Hambatan dalam sebuah penerapan karakter siswa sekolah dasar adalah factor guru, orangtua, lingkungan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigated its impact on reading comprehension, math interest, self-esteem, pro-social behavior, and emotional well-being. Methods: This study used a longitudinal time series quasi-experimental design involving an experimental group and a matched comparison group. Participants in this study were two hundred and eighty children (149 intervention group, 131 comparison group) from eight state primary schools in the Southeast Queensland region. The research sample consisted of 48% (n=135) girls and 52% (n=145) boys all in Grade 6 (with an age range of 10-12 years). Results: Results showed improvements in reading comprehension, decreased interest in mathematics and self-esteem, while pro-social behavior and emotional well-being remained unchanged among COI program participants compared to non-participants. Conclusion: The COI philosophical intervention found improvements in reading comprehension but reduced interest in mathematics and self-esteem, with no changes in pro-social behavior and emotional well-being in the Year 6 group of students compared to those who did not receive the COI intervention. The COI's philosophical focus primarily on language may have led to significant increases in reading comprehension over time and significant decreases in interest in mathematics among these Grade 6 participants. Pre-service teachers who aspire to become philosophical COI facilitators need to be encouraged to develop their ability to examine and identify the personal characteristics, beliefs and attitudes that influence the way they think about teaching and learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the students learning outcomes by the applying EKU media in fifth grade students of the SDN 1 Payaman Kudus in a academy year 2019/2020. The approachment of this research is classroom action research wich consist of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two confluence and four phase, they are: planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. the subject and data resources were teacher and students which consists of 29 students. The data collection techniques used interview, observation, documentation and test. The validaty data techniques used Expert Judgement. The resech data analysis used quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research show that the student learning outcomes improved in each cycle. Percentage of classical students learning outcome the percentage of classical completeness in outcomes learning social knowledge scincence in the first cycle 44,82% with an average 64,82 and in cycle 82,76% with an average 82,58. In Indoneisan in the first cycle 58,62% with an average 70,51 and the second cycle 75,87% with an average 83,63. While in the outcomes of student learning in the aspect of skills in the first gained 55,34% and increased in the second with 78,20%. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the application of EKU media can to improve students learning outcomes in fifth grade students of the SDN 1 Payaman Kudus in a academy year 2019/2020. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan media Engklek Gunung (EKU) pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Payaman Kudus tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Pada setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dan sumber data adalah guru dan siswa yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik uji validasi data yang digunakan adalah Expert Judgement. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa aspek pengetahuan IPS pada siklus I 44,82% dengan nilai rata-rata 64,82 dan pada siklus II 82,76% dengan rata-rata 82,58. Pada Bahasa Indonesia pada siklus I 58,62% dengan rata-rata 70,51 dan pada siklus II 75,87% dengan rata-rata 83,63. Sedangkan pada hasil belajar siswa aspek keterampilan pada siklus I memperoleh 55,34% dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II 78,20%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model EKU dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas V SDN 1 Payaman tahun ajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

The quality of education tends to decrease as a result of the less than optimal performance of teachers in carrying out their duties, it is coupled with the lack of competence possessed by teachers, school culture that is not implemented properly. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of teacher competence and school culture on teacher performance at SD Negeri in Banjarharjo, Brebes Regency. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with the type of method used in this study is a type of survey method with an associative quantitative approach with analytical techniques including normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, partial regression test and multiple regression test. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the performance of teachers in elementary schools in Banjarharjo District, Brebes Regency is as follows: 4, 99% schools have very good performance; 29.1% of schools have good teacher performance; 41.6% medium category; 19.1% unfavorable category; and 5% of schools have a bad category. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of teacher competence and school culture on teacher performance (Adjusted R2 = 0.155). This explains the competence of teachers and school culture together able to explain the variance of teacher performance by 15.5% Based on the data from the research and discussion, it can be seen that: 1) There is a positive and significant influence between teacher competence on teacher performance at SD Negeri Banjarharjo, Brebes Regency. 2) There is a positive and significant influence between school culture on the performance of SD Banjarharjo teachers, Brebes Regency. 3) There is a positive and significant influence between teacher competence and school culture together on the performance of teachers at SD Negeri Banjarharjo, Brebes Regency. Abstrak Kualitas pendidikan cenderung menurun yang di akibatkan dari kurang optimalnya kinerja guru dalam menjalankan tugas, hal itu ditambah dengan kurangnya kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh guru, budaya sekolah yang tidak dilaksanakan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi guru dan kultur sekolah terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis metode survey pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif dengan teknik analisis meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas, uji regresi parsial dan uji regresi ganda. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Banjarharjo, Kabupaten Brebes adalah sebagai berikut: sebesar 4, 99% sekolah memiliki kinerja sangat baik; 29,1% sekolah memiliki kinerja guru yang baik; 41,6% kategori sedang; 19,1% kategori kurang baik; dan 5% sekolah memiliki kategori tidak baik. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kompetensi guru dan kultur sekolah terhadap kinerja guru (Adjusted R2=0,155). Hal ini menjelaskan kompetensi guru dan kultur sekolah secara bersama-sama mampu menjelaskan varian kinerja guru sebesar 15,5%. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dan pembahasan maka dapat diketahui bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes. 2) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kultur sekolah terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes. 3) Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi guru dan kultur sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri Banjarharjo Kabupaten Brebes

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis strategi penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dimensi bernalar kritis di SD Negeri 44 Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi kelas, wawancara dengan peserta didik dan guru, serta menggunakan analisis arsip sebagai sumber data. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis tematik untuk memahami strategi penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila yang digunakan di SD Negeri 44 Kota Bengkulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di SD Negeri 44 Kota Bengkulu telah memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan dimensi bernalar kritis peserta didik. Beberapa strategi eefektif yang diterapkan di sekolah ini meliputi: (1) penggunaan pertanyaan pemantik (trigger questions) untuk mendorong peserta didik berpikir kritis dan merangsang diskusi, (2) penggunaan media pembelajaran yang mendalam untuk memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep Pancasila, (3) melibatkan peserta didik dalam diskusi terbuka untuk mendorong pemikiran kritis, (4) memberikan kesempatan bagi peserta didik untuk menghadapi masalah dan menemukan solusi melalui penyelesaian masalah, serta (5) menerapkan sistem reward and punishment yang memberikan insentif positif guna meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi peserta didik. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam pengembangan pendekatan pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk memperkuat profil pelajar Pancasila dan meningkatkan dimensi bernalar kritis peserta didik. Abstract This study aims to describe the analysis of strategies for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students in the critical thinking dimension at elementary school 44 Bengkulu City. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through classroom observations, interviews with students and teachers, and the use of archival analysis as a data source. The collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis to understand the strategies for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students used at elementary school 44 Bengkulu City. The findings of this study indicate that the strategies for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students at elementary school 44 Bengkulu City have positively impacted the enhancement of students' critical thinking dimension. Several effective strategies implemented at the school include: (1) the use of trigger questions to encourage students to think critically and stimulate discussions, (2) the utilization of deep learning media to facilitate a deeper understanding of Pancasila concepts, (3) involving students in open discussions to foster critical thinking, (4) providing opportunities for students to face problems and find solutions through problem-solving, and (5) implementing a reward and punishment system that provides positive incentives to enhance student participation and achievement. These findings have significant implications for the development of teaching approaches aimed at strengthening the profile of Pancasila students and improving the dimension of critical thinking among students.

Abstract

The rapid progress of the school in this modern era, so every school always innovates learning so that students do not feel bored and fed up in class, so that student learning outcomes are low. This study aims to find out how much the difference in student learning outcomes by using CTL Learning and those who do not use Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning in mathematics class III at SD Islam Ar-Rahmat Weragati. This research is a type of quantitative research using experimental methods. Data collection techniques using observation and tests to get the difference between those using and not learning CTL. This study is a population research study, because it took all students in class III at SDI Ar-Rahmat as a sample with 33 subjects. The research data collected were analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. The application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning is expected to provide added value for students in school. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences between student learning outcomes by using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning compared to student learning outcomes using the Group Investigation learning model in grade III Islamic Ar-Rahmat Majalengka Elementary School. Abstrak Pesatnya kemajuan sekolah di era modern ini, maka setiap sekolah selalu melakukan inovasi pembelajaran sehingga siswa tidak merasa bosan dan jenuh dalam kelas, sehingga hasil belajar siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui seberapa besar perbedaan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengunakan Pembelajaran CTL dan yang tidak mengunakan Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam mata pelajaran matematika kelas III di SD Islam Ar-Rahmat Weragati. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan tes untuk mendapatkan perbedaan antara yang menggunakan dengan yang tidak pembelajaran CTL. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penelitian populasi, karena mengambil seluruh siswa kelas III di SDI Ar-Rahmat sebagai sampel dengan jumlah subyek 33 orang. Data penelitian yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji t-test. Penerapan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) diharapkan dapat memberikan nilai tambah bagi siswa di sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation di kelas III SD Islam Ar-Rahmat Majalengka.
