Abstract

This is a content analysis research that examines the contents of the books of fiqh that have the potential existence of gender violence; especially a book entitled Vqud al-Lujjain fi al­Bayani Huquq al-Zaujain; a work of Muhammad ibn Umar al-Nawawi al-Banteni; in gender equality and justice perspective. This study shows that gender violence among the Muslim community,particularly in Indonesia, was much influenced by the circulation of the books of fiqh that have the potential gender bias and have an impact on religious thought and behavior. Among of causalfactors is the influence cfinterpretations of the scholars whose interpretations are characterized by a partial, not comprehensive, literal (textual), not contextual, and heavily itifluenced by local culture. As a result, the understanding is less consistent with the principles of al-Qurran that stressed equality,justice, and .freedom. The eJfortneed to be done is reconstruction and reformulation of the books offiqh.

Abstract

This essay was aimed at describing the development of civic knowledge, civic skill and civic disposition on textbooks for junior high school namely “Belajar Memahami Kewarganegaraan 1, 2 and 3”. Based on content analysis, it can be conducted that civic education element was developed through teaching material presented accompanied by features, such as additional boxes, every chapter including pictures, law corner, info, public figures, and citizenship dictionary. In addition to presentation of civic skill related teaching material, box of “uji kompetensi” was utilize to enhance civic skill competences. Civic disposition was enhanced by inserting national values as well as up-held-values but conceptually.

Abstract

This research was aimed at describing Pesantren Gunung Jati (SGJ) in internalizing the strategic value of mental revolution in Islamic Senior High School students SGJ through local wisdom as well as revealing the strategies implemented to manage the its supporting points and obstacles. This research was qualitative approach and classified into case study. The result shows the values of “Panca Jiwa Pondok” have been able to shape students’ personality with the B3K3N character. Various characteristics used as parameters the success of empowering students’ characteristics were: the advisors example, the student’s parent trust. The multicultural background of students was an obstacle of the implementation. Strategies implemented to success were became the role model and a happy friend as well as a motivator for students to be patterns of model in building emotional bond.

Abstract

Civic Education has a strategic role in strengthening multiculturalism in Indonesia. However, the contents of civic learning at the elementary level up to university level are showing lack of phenomenon that explores the multicultural values based on local wisdom (local genius). This research is a literature study by finding reference theories relevant to the cases or problems found. The reference theory obtained by method of literature study was presented as the foundation. It was found that: (1) The primordially knowledge, attitude and behavior of Indonesian society are kinds of things that impede Civics Education as a medium for strengthening multiculturalism in Indonesia; (2) Civic Education has great potential to become the foundation for multicultural strengthening in Indonesia with attention to innovation and development of the content, as well as the learning model. (3) Civic Education has a philosophical meaning as the foundation of ligature strength in the establishment of pluralism multicultural mentalities in order to realize national goals and nation’s modernization without abandoning the local wisdom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mewujudkan Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) di SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah kualitatif. Perencanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang memperhatikan hak-hak anak, yakni memperhatikan waktu bermain dan istirahat, merencanakan materi ajar yang sesuai dengan kondisi anak, lingkungan pembelajaran disetting untuk memungkinkan siswa belajar aktif. Untuk aspek pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan dengan mengembangkan materi ajar yang tidak terbatas dalam buku teks, tetapi mengedepankan budaya lokal, melakukan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan karakteristik siswa, melaksanakan pembelajaran menyenangkan, memanfaatkan lingkungan, pengembangan minat dan bakat anak, tersedia waktu bermain, beristirahat, dan berolahraga, siswa diberi kesempatan untuk mengapresiasi seni budaya lokal, penggunaan alat permainan edukatif, menciptakan suasana belajar yang mengembangkan aspek peduli lingkungan. Pada bagian penilaian, dilakukan dengan melaksanakan penilaian autentik dalam hasil dan proses pembelajaran. Dari berbagai temuan, untuk menciptakan SRA melalui pembelajaran yang masih perlu diperhatikan adalah layanan inklusi.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The research was aimed at revealing information related to instructional activities to implement student-friendly school at Muhammadiyah Sapen Primary School. It was approached qualitative descriptively. The research reveals that to ensure student-friendly school condition, it was through rigorous planning and instructional activities by considering students characteristics, developing teaching materials, setting class layout conducive to active learning, conducting joyful learning, outdoor activities, developing student potentials and interests, plotting time dedicated for playing, utilizing educative games, and caring environment, utilizing authentic assessment both on process and result of learning without comparing the results each other’s. However, it needs special service for student with unique behavior to ensure that the condition is considered as student-friendly school.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi berbagai istilah (terminologi) yang berkaitan dengan praktik kewarganegaraan atau pendidikan kewarganegaraan yang digunakan di Indonesia setelah runtuhnya rezim Orde Baru. Ia berpendapat bahwa penggunaan istilah tersebut agak serampangan karena mereka kurang dibahas dan diperebutkan di kalangan akademis. Akibatnya, agak membingungkan ketika pemerintah Indonesia berniat untuk memperkenalkan kembali Pendidikan Pancasila baru-baru ini. Makalah ini menyarankan bahwa penggunaan istilah-istilah tersebut secara konsisten dan sistematis akan memungkinkan kita untuk menempatkan Pancasila secara lebih proporsional dalam “peta” Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Indonesia (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, PKn).---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------practices of citizenship or civic education used in Indonesia after the demise of the New Order regime. It argues that the use of the terms has been rather haphazard because they have been less discussed and contested in academic circles.  As a result, it was rather confusing when the Indonesian government intended to re-introduce Pancasila Education recently.  This paper suggests that consistent and systematic use of such terms will enable us to locate Pancasila more proportionately in the “map” of Indonesia’s Citizenship Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan, PKn).

Licensing represent one of the medium of yuridis vitally administrative in execution of effort activity of development, especially in its bearing with continuation of ability of environment in this Indonesia Circumstance to earn us of the understand remember with gift of permission, governmental can instruct and control its citizen to obviate self-damage of environment in consequence of execution of development of which can result change of environment function. But efficacy of licensing as medium of yuridis administrative in continuation of ability of this environment cannot be discharged from situation of state administration government officer and enforcer government officer punish as executor of effectiveness punish in everyday life. If them apply licensing law better and also apply sanction emphatically to lawbreaker of licensing undoubtedly continuity of ability of Indonesia environment will be able to be looked after from generation to generation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan interaksi sosial Guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di SMA Katolik Karitas Tomohon-Sulawesi Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa interaksi guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di SMA Katolik Karitas Tomohon sudah berjalan dengan baik. Selanjutnya ada hambatan dalam komunikasi antara guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) adalah kepribadian dari guru dan siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penelitian lanjut tentang hal-hal yang mempengaruhi interaksi guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran PKn.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This study aims to describe the teacher's social interactions in learning Civic Education at Catholic High School Karitas Tomohon-North Sulawesi. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach method by collecting data through observation, interviews, and literature studies. This study found that the interaction of teachers and students in learning Civic Education at Karitas Tomohon Catholic High School had gone well. Furthermore, there are obstacles in communication between teachers and students in the learning process of Civic Education is the personality of teachers and lecturers. This study recommends further research on matters that affect the interaction of teachers and students in the learning process of Civic Education.

Abstract

Social capital plays an urgent role in building and maintaining elan vital of student bodies which are up to some level fragmented into subcomponent labels and step down into internal frictions. The social capital should emerge and be maintained in any activity of students organi­zations and interrelation among them. Student boards and also lecturers should have conscious­ ness to raise and increase the social capital.

Abstract

The conduct of civic teaching up to now still faces some barriers and limitations so its mission to make good citizen is not yet being realized in value-based education corridor. Based this reality, it is imperative to conduct a comprehension study on basic problems so the civic education can be empowered as a poweifu1 learning area characterized by contextual learning experience such as meaningful, integrated, value-based, challenging, and activating. Through these kinds of learning experiences, student be facilitated in constructing democratic civic knowledge, attitude, and skills in constructive psycho-pedagogic corridor.
