Abstract

A podcast is a digital audio recording disseminated over the internet that can be transmitted, played, and downloaded directly to consumer media devices, including portable music players, computers, laptops, and smartphones. It can be categorized as an m-learning strategy for teaching and learning. It allows students to learn independently, easy to use, dynamic content meeting to listeners’ needs, and portable. The categories of using podcasts for learning are as sub-constitutional, supplemental, and integrated. Several things need to be considered in designing a podcast for learning covering its course’ objectives, students’ character, goal, type, writer, correlation to other teaching materials, a style used, duration, media, technology and material, sound used, the image included, and music. In designing a good podcast for learning, it is necessary to apply a systematic learning system's systematic procedure. This article discusses how to design podcasts for learning with The Rapid Prototype Model. This model is an instructional design method used to design and develop models with the stages of needs analysis, content analysis, determining objectives, constructing prototypes, utilizing prototypes, and installing and maintaining the system.

Abstract

Digital media is very closely related to life, making its role very important in building life's culture. The role of digital media also affects the style or method of carrying out learning. Therefore, there needs to be an exploratory study in looking at learning using digital media. The purpose of the research is to decrypt the role of digital media in influencing prospective educators' learning styles (students) and explore prospective educators (students) to face learning in the digital age. This research method phenomenology. The subject of study is educational students or prospective educators. Data collection is conducted by open survey and questionnaire methods. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and qualitative data analysis was performed by reducing data, looking for relationships between themes and levers. The results showed that the digital media's role is vast in building the learning style of prospective teachers. The role is shown with ease of access obtained by prospective teachers and many resources that reference knowledge development. Besides, it turns out that prospective educators can analyze/vaccinate the learning process using digital media. This shows that prospective teachers are ready to face the challenges of learning in the digital age and can make a breakthrough in learning in the digital age

Abstract

Various researcher state that to ensure student had the 4Cs competence is to use student-centered approach in the classroom. This further recognize the skills to create dynamic classroom as the core-skills of 21st teacher. To create such classroom, a teacher must be able to master the systematic and dynamic aspects of learning. It requires teacher to fully aware of every student activity. However, based on preliminary investigation, there two things that become obstacles, namely: (1) teacher had hard time giving full attention to whole classes due to non-coercion manner of student-centre approach, and (2) mastery of dynamic aspects in learning requires real experience which will certainly spend a lot of time. They need practical solutions that can help them master the core skill of 21st teacher. Therefore, we designed an application with image processing features (face detection, face recognition, and pose extraction) in order to help teachers to give full attention and provide positive reinforcement for every classroom participant. The research is done by RD Method, whereas application design uses SDLC method. The results are product in the form of software applications that are expected to accurately measure percentage student attention in the classroom. Product also present information as a basis for decision making to assist teacher in creating a dynamic classroom. In addition, we certainly hopeful that by using the product, prospective teachers can quickly adapt and apply the dynamic classroom.

Abstract

When sudden shifts from purely campus-centred of higher education to Open and Distance Learning (ODL) using information and communication technologies were done drastically in early 2020, there were many issues highlighted pertaining to ODL and one of it is time. And for almost a year now, presuming ODL has been done over some time, both instructors and learners should be able to adapt and adopt to the new education system. The purpose of this study was to identify instructors’ and learners’ ability to allocate time in open and distance learning (ODL). The study was conducted with 320 respondents and the instrument used was questionnaires. The results showed that ODL instructors and learners were challenged with a range of obstacles to prioritise tasks and allocate time accordingly in their course of teaching and learning. The most reported challenges were first, least time spent to interact with students or teachers while teaching and learning on ODL, and secondly, least time spent with family members while teaching and learning on ODL. It was found that both instructors and learners from public and private higher learning institution were still facing problems in allocating time when adopting the practice of ODL. In short, time allocation in prioritising tasks is still an obstruction to achieve effective and balanced teaching and learning system with ODL that satisfies the desire of the instructors and learners.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di era globalisasi saat ini sudah menyentuh bidang pendidikan khususnya di sekolah dasar sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien serta mampu menarik perhatian peserta didik dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sarana prasarana yang mendukung dan perlunya inovasi dari pendidik untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi namun masih terdapat sekolah yang kurang mendukung sarana dan prasarana teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta masih adanya pendidik yang kurang mampu dalam mengoperasikan media teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui urgensi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode studi literatur sebagai sumber data. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu adanya implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan media teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berupa komputer dan internet. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di sekolah dasar menggunakan komputer dan internet dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam bentuk multimedia, permainan, dan sosial media, hal itu tak lepas dari hambatan yang terjadi dan adanya dampak positif dan negatif.Keywords: pemanfaatan, teknologi, sekolah dasar

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan modul elektronik audiovisual dalam Mengajarkan konsep penjumlahan dan Nilai-nilai Akhlak di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Penelitian ini menggunaan sampel penelitian peserta didik kelas 2A Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mangamati pengguna modul elektronik ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Langkah-langkah penelitian ini adalah merancang produk kemudian produk divalidasi oleh 3 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli Bahasa dan 1 orang ahli media, dari proses validasi didapatlah hasil rata-rata untuk materi 1 dengan nilai 4,67, materi 2 dengan nilai 4,82, ahli materi 3 dengan nilai 4,91,kelayakan Bahasa dalam modul elektronik dengan nilai 4,25, ahli Media dengan nilai 4,77. Maka dari diperoleh kesimpulan berdasarkan rata-rata jumlah semua di dapat nilai 4,68 yang berarti sangat valid dan layak digunakan. Setelah dinyatakan valid peneliti selanjutnya mengamati proses penggunakan yang diperoleh hasil bahwa pendidik terbantu oleh adanya modul elektronik ini dan peserta didik menjadi termotivasi belajar operasi hitung penjumlahan karena tampilan yang menarik dan contoh juga materi yang disajikan dalam bentuk videoThe purpose of this study was to find out how to use audiovisual electronic modules in teaching the concept of addition and moral values at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study used a research sample of students of class 2A Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, sampling using purposive sampling method. The research method used to observe the users of this electronic module is descriptive qualitative. The steps of this research are to design a product and then the product is validated by 3 material experts, 1 language expert and 1 media expert, from the validation process the average results obtained for material 1 with a value of 4.67, material 2 with a value of 4, 82, material expert 3 with a score of 4.91, language feasibility in electronic modules with a value of 4.25, media expert with a value of 4.77. So from the conclusions obtained based on the average number of all in the value of 4.68 which means it is very valid and feasible to use. After being declared valid, the researchers then observed the process of using it, which resulted in the results that educators were helped by the existence of this electronic module and students became motivated to learn addition arithmetic operations because of the attractive appearance and examples of material presented in video form.

Abstract

Adanya wabah COVID-19 menyebabkan proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring yang memicu timbulnya kesulitan khususnya di bidang matematika. Kesulitan tersebut antara lain interaksi dan komunikasi antara guru dan siswa terbatas, siswa kurang paham dengan konsep yang disampaikan guru, dan siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi lapangan, hal tersebut dikarenakan cara guru dalam mengajar membuat siswa kurang dilibatkan dalam mengonstruksi konsep matematis. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dikembangkan suatu bahan ajar yang dapat memfasilitasi keterlibatan siswa dalam pembentukan konsep. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengembangkan LKS digital berbasis PBL pada materi prisma dan limas berbantuan Liveworksheets dan GeoGebra yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Analisis deskriptif kualitatif diperoleh dari saran dan masukan pada lembar validasi dan angket respon siswa dan guru. Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil uji validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektivitas. Hasil penelitian berupa produk pengembangan dengan tingkat kevalidan sebesar 93,19%, tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 90,87%, dan tingkat keefektifan sebesar 73,3% dari siswa uji coba yang mendapat nilai 75. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan bersifat valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga baik digunakan untuk memfasilitasi siswa dalam mengonstruksi konsep, membantu siswa memahami konsep dan menyelesaikan masalah kontekstual pada materi prisma dan limas.

Abstract

Transformasi dalam manajemen Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) terus dilakukan di Indonesia, termasuk dalam pengembangan kompetensi ASN. Seiring dengan trend pengembangan Corporate Universities pada Instansi Pemerintah, pembelajaran digital menjadi pilihan sebagai salah satu strategi dalam pengembangan kompetensi pegawai yang diklaim sesuai dengan perkembangan dan kebutuhan dengan jangkauan yang lebih luas. Diperlukan kesiapan dalam people, process, technology, dan culture untuk dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran digital dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM) dalam mengembangkan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran digital dalam program pengembangan kompetensi pegawai. Penelitian dilakukan di BPOM dengan menggunakan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif analisis untuk mengetahui fakta terkait populasi penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui survei, meliputi survei literasi digital dan survei digital mastery organisasi dalam melakukan transformasi digital, terdiri dari survei digital capabilities dan survei leadership capabilities. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui level literasi digital pegawai BPOM adalah baik sekali dengan nilai 40,36, dan level digital mastery organsisasi BPOM masuk dalam kategori master digital dengan digital capabilities dan leadership capabilities yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan masukan dalam pengembangan BPOM Digital Corporate University sebagai strategi dalam percepatan pengembangan kompetensi SDM Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan di Indonesia.The transformation of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) management continues to be carried out in Indonesia, including developing ASN competencies. Along with the trend of Corporate Universities' development in Government Agencies, digital learning has become an option as one of the strategies in developing competencies that are claimed to be following developments and needs with a broader reach. It needs readiness in people, process, technology, and culture to carry out digital learning well. This study aims to determine the readiness of the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (Indonesian FDA) in implementing digital learning in competency development programs. The research was conducted at the Indonesian FDA using quantitative descriptive analysis research methodology to find out facts related to the research population. Collection data research was carried out through surveys, including digital literacy surveys and digital mastery surveys of organizations carrying out digital transformation, consisting of digital capabilities surveys and leadership capabilities surveys. The research results show that the digital literacy level of the Indonesian FDA employees is very good, with a score of 40.36, and the digital mastery level of the BPOM organization is the digital master category with high digital capabilities and leadership capabilities. The results of this study are expected as input in the development of the Indonesian FDA Digital Corporate University as a strategy in accelerating the development of Human Resource of Food and Drug Control in Indonesia.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh aplikasi edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini secara Simple Random Sampling (Sampel acak sederhana) untuk menentukan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan cara arisan, maka diperoleh 2 kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumentasi, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa nilai thitungttabel = 4,566 1,668, maka Hiposis Alternatif (Ha) diterima dan Hipotesis Nol (H0) ditolak atau dengan kata lain ada pengaruh aplikasi edmodo terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 15 Palembang tahun pelajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to see if there is a relationship between online learning and academic stress of students of the Masters Program of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University. This research is a quantitative study with the population being students of the Masters Program of the Faculty of Communication, Padjadjaran University who are running an online learning process, and the sample is 98 students. The process of collecting data in this study was by distributing online questionnaires using google form. The results of this study are that there is a significant relationship between online learning and work-life balance (H1), then there is a significant relationship between work-life balance and academic stress for Master Program students, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University (H3), and there is also a relationship between There is a significant relationship between virtual meeting fatigue and academic stress for Master Program students of the Faculty of Communication, Padjadjaran University (H4).
