Abstract

Abstract   The objective of this research is to test the effect of operating leverage to the firm’s market risk. The market risk is the risk that relation with the firm’s stock price. This research employed homogenous sample that is 33 firms included in chemical basic industry from 1994 to 2002. This research used regression analysis. The research findings prove that there is no effect of operating leverage to the firm’s market risk. Keywords: operating leverage, systematic risk.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find the influences of financial ratio toward the ability to predict the changing profit on manufacture firms which are listed in PT. Bursa Efek Jakarta. These financial ratio includes Debt to Equity, Leverage Ratio, Gross Profit Margin, Net Operating Margin, Inventory Turnover, Total Assets Turnover, Return On Investment, Return On Equity and profit which used is before tax profit. The analysis technique which use is multiple regression sampling, t-test, F-test and R square. From the result we found 4 out of 8 factors which involves to the changing profit ratio, there are Gross Profit Margin, Inventory Turnover, Return On Investment, Return On Equity but simultaneously the financial ratio variables influences the profit changing. This means the hypothesis which is state that there is any influences on financial ratio toward the ability to predict the profit changing are proven. Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to analyze the influence of beta, size and price-to-book value to stock return and also to determine whether influence given by those three factors will differ at different monetary condition. Test conducted to 152 stocks which are traded actively in BEJ at period of July 2000 to June 2003. Early test result indicated that independent variables namely beta, size and PBV have a significant influence to stock return. Test reenacted by separating sample between periods which is expansive and restrictive, the result indicated that on expansive period beta did not have significant result, while on restrictive period all of variables have significant result. After conducting the interaction test by including the monetary policy as dummy variable, the test resulted that monetary policy did not affect the relation between PBV and stock return, while beta and size indicated the significant result, it means that the relation of those two variables to stock return is indeed influenced by monetary policy. Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study aimed to provide emperical about perception university student to impact profesionalisme lecturer in University in Surakarta. Take the sample use purposive random sampling and conveniance sampling. Total respondent were 40 respondents. Then, the data was measure with 4 factor profesionalism, is skill, knowledge, attitue, and ethics.Analyzed using proporsions, score and chy-square. The study result indicated that skill factor value of means is 3,4. Knoelwdge factor value of means is 3,5, attitude factor value of means is 3,335 and ethics factor value of means is 3,465. So the conclusion tis study that perception university student to impact profesionalisme lecturer in University in Surakarta good. Abstract

ABSTRACT   This study is an empirical study conducted in Delanggu District Klaten Regency, and was aimed to analyze the dominant factors contributing to rural households saving. The study employed descriptive statistics and linear regression techniques from a sample of 93 households. The dependent variable was a rural household saving devided by family size. The result indicated that using linear regression for rural households saving’s model was the best model, for 66% prediction capability of its independent variable, and there are no multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. There are 3 factors that have significant contribution to rural households saving: household income devided by family size, share  consumption in total income and occupation of  household head. Education of household head, young age dependency ratio and old age dependency ratio do not have considerable influence, since none of those have significant coefficients. The study recommends the necessity for intensive rural househol savings mobilization by developing rural financial institutions  for saver and borrower, and reviewing agricultural credit programmes for rural household. Cause during the time impress that becoming bogey and problem to small entrepreneur is difficult get fresh fund or credit for the defrayal of its effort except that will be told procedure which must be faced by the small entrepreneur tend to circumvent. Very sensible likely if ownership of state to the a bank used to serve and defray small industry economic activity. With expected inwrought strategy of service to small and medium industry in giving of credit expected to earn more directional and zero in on. But seems do not easy to to realize the the dream. Cause in very emulation of this kompetitif many small and medium industry which must vie with big effort This matter represent challenge which must be faced by small and medium industry, because to run the strategy is usually required by the source of energy and fund which by dozens is, the source nya] only owned by big scale effort. On that account in emulation usually small and medium industry party always reside in on the side of less beneficial. On that account problems which handcuffing and hindering economic growth rate shall is immediately finished. In because difficulty get loan from bank operating conventionally, hence needing presumably micro and middle small entrepreneur require to look for defrayal alternative from financial institution or bank which is in management by using Moslem law sistem. Abstract In general we out for to always obviate all uncertainty element, as long as can be conducted. Existence of uncertainty element cause us always pay attention things related to uncertainty of itself. We possible try identification, risk type which is possible faced and how to obviate or manage risk in a state of is satisfying. Risk by many expert interpreted from the aspect of different approach, depended from its importance. But that way for the purpose of this study, risk defined by as an uncertainty to the happening. In statistical language of risk measured from deviation variance to the what expected (value expected). This uncertainty element oftentimes generates a loss and or damage. Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this research is to reveal positive influence and quality significance, participation, developing chance and communication the same time. In addition, it reveals as well the relation between an individual and productivity in PT Kemilau Indah Permana in Karanganyar. The result of multiple linier regression analysis shown as the quality of variable regression coefficient (X1), participation (X2) and developing chance (X3) give positive influences to productivity. Whereas communication variables (X2) has negative influence to productivity. The result of research t shows that quality variable (X1) gives positive and significant influence to productivity, participation variable and developing change variable (X3) have it as well, but communication variable (X2) shows a negative and insignificant influence to quality productivity. Meanwhile, the result of research F reveals that quality variable (X1), participation (X2), developing chance (X3), and communication (X4) at the same time give a significant influence to productivity variable of the employees in PT Kemilau Indah Permana Karanganyar. Analysis of determination coefficient (R2)(X3) and communication (X4) give a 96,3% influence to productivity. Keywords: Quality, participation, developing chance, communication productivity
