Abstract

Games are entertainment media with the highest growth among other smartphone features suchas music, Tv, and movies. Besides having a huge potential in the field of economic and entertainment, thegame also has the potentia/field of instructional media. The students assume the National Examinationas a fear factor can utilize the smartphone as a learning medium, especially students who come from ruralareas who have difficulty in accessing the textbook exercises.By utilizing the game functions as a medium of learning the game design " Yuk, UNSuccess! Abstract

The final work is titled Draft City Branding Padang city. The introduction has not been packagedproperly. It creates an image that is less attractive for tourists, when in fact the City The potential thatought to be proud of by the people. This design uses the theory of city branding, communication theory,design theory and the theory of color. Therefore, in the design of this time are highlighted in The laterthrough verbal and visual messages, tagline and media applications that are effective and efficient.As for media design is the logo along with the explanation. Design a billboard mediaapplications, facebook account, t-shirts, mugs, keychains, signed area, posters, pins, post card, sticker,calendar and jlaxchange. Abstract

The design of typical Minangkabau book kurambik weapon, aim to be expected to be acomplete visual documents about weapons kurambik I kerambit Minangkabau and can be used as areference in teaching and research. It also aims to maintain continuity kurambikweapons and maintainedon an ongoing basis as a product of the culture of Indonesia. This book is one way to be able to keepkurambik remain in the State of Indonesia.This book is based on the use of photo etnofotografi which is more likely than artistic. Becauseetnofotografi is the study of a culture of a society with the help of photos in it. Picture elements should beable to describe the social structure, dominance, social class and other cultural symbols. Abstract

Ads enamel is present as part of a media phenomenon in the world of advertisingcommunication made with a complex reproductive techniques and has a characteristic thatdistinguishes it from other advertising media. Salah satu hal yang harus ldta fahami bersama menurut saya, yaitu apa yang di.katakan olehAbidin Kusno dalam buku "Zaman Baru Generasi Modernis" ini, bahwa Arsitektur modernis perluelipahami sebagai sebuah vehicle of thought yaitu "pemildran" yang hidup dalam lingkungan sosial danpolitik eli suatu waktu dan eli suatu tempat tertentu. Masih menurut penulis, bila arsitektur eli Indonesiadapat elilihat sebagai sebuah gerakan budaya yang terbentuk dalam suatu proses politik, maka ia bergesekan dengan semangat "modernisme", me ski. pun perlu dicatat bahwa "modernity" dan"modernism" itu adalah basil dari suatu proses dalam sejarah Eropa yang tak pernah teijadi di Indonesia.Modernisme sebagai suatu reak:si artistik terhadap modernitas, tidaklah sama di semua tempat.Modernisme Indonesia tidaklah sama dengan modernisme di Eropa karena konteks sejarah yangberbeda. Di Indonesia, konteks relasi kolonial dan pascak:olonial memegang peranan besar dalammempengaruhi pengalaman modemitas, sehingga pergerak:an-pergerakan modemitas yangmenanggapinya sering mengambil bentuk nasionalisme- suatu ekspresi yangjustru sering dilawan olehkaum modernis di Eropa.

Abstract

Copyright is essentially a part of intangible/incorporeal property which the ownership isseparated from the ownership of the object. Consequently, the enactment of " the participants' worksbelong to the committee" clause cannot be interpreted as the transfer of both of the property rights andcopyright of the works. This study is aimed to know how the graphic designer as a participant in a graphicdesign competition correlated with the existence of "the participants' works belong to the committee"clause is legally protected.The data in this study were obtained by juridical-normative-empirical- research (mixture study).The data obtained from both the library research and the field research were analyzed using descriptivequalitativeapproach. Descriptive approach analyzes only applied at the description level in which factswere analyzes and presents in a systematic way so that it can be more easily understood and inferred.Qualitative approach doesnot emphasize its analysis on numerical data processed by the statisticalmethod. However it doesnot mean that qualitative approach doesn't use quantitative data. Thequantitative data were used but the emphasis wasnot on the hypothesis testing but rather on the attemptto answer the research question through argumentative and formal ways of thinking.The results of this study indicate that most people, especially graphic designers didn't understandthat property rights and copyright of work are two separate things and they assumed that " theparticipants' works belong to the committee" clause as a transfer of both property and copyright of adesign. Thus often caused problems dealed were generated from the illegal use by the committee such asthe use of the works without the cretor's permission, the committee's decision that the competition had nowinner or that the prize is distributed evenly to all the nominees.Keywords: Copyright, Design, Graphic Design
