Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of company size, profitability, and financial leverage on earnings smoothing practice at companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. A number of samples are the 22 manufacturing companies and generate 132 observations. These samples are chosen by purposive sampling method since 2009 up to 2011. Earning smoothing practice calculated with Eckel Index. This Index is a model that can estimate that company done earnings smoothing practice. It is calculated from deviation standard of income delta to sales delta. Analyzing use binary Logistic regression because the dependent variable is a dummy. Goodness of fit test used hosmer and lemeshow and the result fit. The outcome of research showed that for partial testing for company size that proxy by the natural logarithm of total assets, profitability proxy by Return on Assets (ROA) and Financial Leverage proxy by Debt to Total Assets (DTA) individually significant influence the practice of smoothing earnings. Simultaneous testing used the omnibus test also reached the same conclusion. Keywords: company size, profitability, financial leverage and earnings smoothing practice

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of service quality in terms of the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and body image influenced on student loyalty with satisfaction as an intervening variable. Data were collected from 42 respondents using accidental sampling method sampling. Data analysis was carried out through analysis of research instruments that include test 0f validity of using the product moment correlation and reliability testing using Cronbachs alpha technique, the normality test, test lineritas, hypothesis test includes multiple linear regression, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). From the analysis of data obtained the following results: variable responsiveness, assurance, and the image of the institution emphaty had a positive significant influence on student satisfaction, while tangibles and reliability had not a significant and negative effect on student satisfaction. Variable reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and the image of the institution emphaty had a positive and significant influenced on student loyalty satisfaction while tangibles variable had a negative and was not significant to student loyalty. Effect of total R 2 0.982, or 98.2%. Satisfaction variable could not be an intervening variable between reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and the image of the institution emphaty loyalty. Abstract

The policy structuring location five-foot trader set by the local government, of course has the effect or impact on the vendors themselves and also for the environment. based on two criteria are used, internal and external. Internal is how the impact on street vendors in terms of economic improvement, a sense of justice and that is how the relationship with the external environment. Impact on the environment implies a positive environment that is well-organized, with waste treatment market, greening around the relocation market, so the market environment will be beautiful and doesn’t look shabby (environmentally friendly). While the negative impact of the decline in capital and revenue, increased operating costs, declining market activities (production, distribution and consumption), weakening of social networks (customers) and declining merchant opportunity to participate in social groups of non-formal. Therefore, further research required From the research conducted showed that the quality of service significantly influence the arrangement of locations although its low and have strong and significant affect on working productivity of Notoharjo’s five-foot trader Surakarta. And also the arrangement of locations has lower significant effect on working productivity althought its lower on Notoharjo’s five-foot trader of Surakarta. Abstract

The Title Of This Research is The Analysis of Lifestyle Of STIE “AUB” Students of Surakarta on the independency. The research object is STIE “AUB” students. Data are taken by using accident stratified proporsional random sampling from 300 respondents. This study uses analysis tools such as 1) descriptive statistical analysis 2) Test of validity and realibility of the instrument 3) Regression analysis 4) T test, and 5) Determination test. Descriptive Analysis describes the charactersistics of the respondents by age, living costs, parents work, gender, serial number of children in the family and leisure time activities. Descritive analysis describes the regular students academic year 2010 to 2012. The results of the research obtained : 1) activities have a positive and significant impact on student’s independence. 2) Interest have a positive effect but not significant on student’s independence and 3) Opinion have a positive effect but not significant on student’s independency. Abstract

This research aim to find out; 1). the influence of the capital structure variable that measure with long term debt to total assets and debt to equity ratio to corporate governance variable. 2). The influence of the capital structure variable that measure with long term debt to total assets and debt to equity ratio on the firm valueb variable that measure with Tobin’s Q. 3). the influence of the corporate governance variable on the firm value that measure with Tobin’s Q. Purposive sampling method had been used to take these sample, and obtained 41 companies sample in observation time. Result showed: 1). The capital structure variable that measure did not effect to the corporate governance variable. 2). The capital structure variable that measure with long term debt to total assets did not effect to a firm value variable that measure with Tobin’s Q. but debt to equity ratio had negative effect to firm value variable that measure with Tobin’s Q. 3). The corporate governance did not effect to firm value variable that measure with Tobin’s Q.4). Direct influence of capital structure variable to firm value variable that measure with Tobin’s Q was bigger that at indirect influence. 5). The moderating variable, corporate governance is better than the corporate governance as intervening variable. Keyword : the capital structure, corporate governance and firm value.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of using Information technology and self assessment system to tax prayers’ Satisfaction. The Hypothesis which have been formulated in this research are: there is direct and indirect influence of using Information technology and self assessment system to tax prayer’s Satisfaction. The research is a survey to tax payers in Surakarta, Data have been collected with quesionaries as 100 respondents are processed with, validity and reliability test, the regression analysis, t test, F test and test of R2 . The t test result shows that there is an influence of using Information technology and self assessment system to tax prayers Satisfaction. The F test result shows that there is an influence of using Information technology and self assessment system to tax prayers Satisfaction simultaneously. From test of R2 shows that the independent variable can explain performance about 67,6% and 32,4% explained by other variables: Keyword: using Information technology, self assessment system, tax prayers Satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to prove the influence of promotion, Image of program study, price and location to students’ satisfaction at The State Vocational High School 4 Klaten individually and simultaneously. The Hypothesis in this research were : there was significant influence among promotion, Image of program study, price and location to students’ satisfaction at The State of Vocational High School 4 Klaten individually and simultaneously as well. The method used in this research was a survey using questionaries for getting data. Population was students at The State of Vocational High School 4 Klaten. Sample taken with a quota random sampling. The test had done with a multiple regression, t test, F test and R 2 . Regression model test showed that promotion, Image of program study price and location had significance influence toward students’ satisfaction individually. The Result F test showed that promotion, Image of program study, price and location had significance influence toward students satisfaction simultaneously and R test had 0,940 so the independent variables could explain dependent variables was more 94,0%. The result of test which had been conducted with the regression model , t test, F test and also R test had proved that The fourth of the variables above could become the predictor to the variable of students’ satisfaction. Abstract

The purpose of this reserach was to analyze Influence Consumer Motivation, Quality Perception, Consumer Attitudes and Purchase Price Decision about Purchasing Decision Nissan Grand Livina Cars at The Dealer Center of Nissan Motor Indonesia Corporation in M.T. Haryono Kav.10, East Jakarta . The method used in this research is Surveying Method using a Questionnaires. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. The results from this research showed that the Purchasing Decision Nissan Grand Livina Cars at The Dealer Center of Nissan Motor Indonesia Corporation in M.T. Haryono Kav.10, East Jakarta influenced by the Consumer Motivation, Perceived Quality, Consumer Attitudes, and Price. The biggest factor affecting the purchase decision is price. Abstract

Considerations to be made by marketers in selecting endoser a product other products form the basis of this study. This study aims to determine the effect attributes (performance) endorser of the brand awareness Tukul Arwana in advertising XL. This research is a survey with a sample of the overall amount to 120 respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection instruments such as questionnaires and analysis tools used multiple linear regression. Based on the results of this study concluded that there was a significant relationship between dimensions Credibility Celebrity, Celebrity and Celebrity Suitability Attractivenes simultaneously to Brand awareness of society who view the ads of XK in Tukul Arwana version.
