Abstract

Abstract – Software verification and validation is a critical phase in software development projects. But unfortunately in many software development projects, software verification and validation rarely gets sufficient attention. Lack of attention is partly due to the assumption that the software verification & validation is not a priority and there for only limited resources can be allocated. This paper presents the result of study in using forecasting analysis model to assist software test strategy preparation. This study applies forecasting analysis to accumulation of individual transaction data that have been got before the system is tested. Those forecasting results are used as comparison tool to compare with the transaction data generated by system which is being tested. This study use subsidized fuel consumption monitoring system as a case study to apply the forecasting model. Test results on the case study, with some limitations, show that forecasting analysis and simulation model can be used as one of inputs to software verification & validation strategy preparation. Abstract

ABSTRACT -- In the last recent years, Cloud Computing (CC) is one of well-developed information technology disciplines in termsof research and its application. Implementation of CC provides many benefits such as: efficiency, guarantee oftechnology handling and managing by them who are competent in their field, reduction of investment costs, andorganizations that use the CC become can more focus on their business or services. Costs of investment andmanagement of CC systems become cheaper if there are more organizations that utilize these resources sharingservices. Level of the resources sharing utilization is higher when organizations that use those resources have the sameinterests in the process, data, and access model to the system. There are quite a lot of legal basis, procedures, data andinformation used jointly by Ministry Institions and Non Ministry of Government Institutions (M&NMs). This paperpresents the proposed model of CC systems that can be used by those M&NMs. The proposed model is generated byperforming the analysis and synthesis approach. Abstract

ABSTRAK -- Karena alasan teknis maupun biaya implementasi, Perencanaan Strategis Sistem danTeknologi Informasi (PSSI) dalam suatu organisasi sangat diperlukan. Kementerian atauLembaga (KL) pemerintahan sebagai organisasi di lingkungan pemerintahan seharusnya jugamenyusun atau mempunyai suatu PSSI yang sesuai untuk organisasinya. Mayoritasmetodologi atau kerangka kerja penyusunan PSSI yang digunakan saat ini adalah kerangkakerja yang disusun / diajukan oleh ahli TI/SI asing yang sebenarnya untuk kepentinganorganisasi swasta. Di sisi lain strategi organisasi KL berbeda dengan strategi organisasiswasta. Dengan demikian selayaknya disusun suatu metodologi / kerangka kerja penyusunanPSSI untuk KL yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan dalam negeri. Makalah inimenyajikan suatu usulan kerangka kerja penyusunan PSSI untuk KL. Usulan dibuat denganmengacu pada metodologi Ward & Peppard dengan modifikasi pada bagian analisalingkungan bisnis eksternal dan internal. Dalam makalah ini ditunjukkan bahwa sesuai dengantugas pokok dan fungsi KL pada arsitektur Enterprise Application KL terdapat aplikasi –aplikasi generik yang bisa digunakan KL secara bersama. Kesamaan fungsi dan aplikasimerupakan potensi untuk penyusunan PSSI KL maupun implementasi aplikasinya menjadilebih mudah dan murah, misalnya dengan model berbagi sumber daya. Kata kunci : Perancangan Strategi Sistem Informasi, Kementerian / Lembaga, Fungsi utama,Fungsi pendukung, Enterprise Application

Abstract

Abstrak -- Makalah ini menyajikan ringkasan hasil penelitian penggunaan kakas Pentaho Community Edition (CE) untuk membuat aplikasi On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) data transaksi BBM bersubsidi. Dibutuhkan alat bantu analisa dan pelaporan konsumsi BBM bersubsidi karena volume data yang sangat besar. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metoda SDLC dalam pembuatan aplikasi yang meliputi analisa kebutuhan, perancangan, pembangunan, dan uji coba perangkat lunak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur dan fungsi Pentaho CE cukup memenuhi kebutuhan yang disyaratkan namun dari sisi kinerja terlihat bahwa Pentaho CE tidak cukup mampu untuk mengolah data dengan volume yang besar. Abstract

Abstract – Recently, the volume of biological data increasesexponentially. Problem of utilization of this kind of data is notonly concerning to the volume but also to its various format andstorage distribution. To solve this kind of problems, someapproaches require new methods, algorithms or tools to assisthuman being in getting beneficial from the biological data. Thispaper presents the usage of fractal dimension approach based oninter nucleotide distance to cluster DNA sequences. Internucleotide distance is a numerical representation of DNAsequences which is transformed to time series signal spectrum.Higuchi Fractal Dimension (HFD) is one of methods to estimatefractal dimension which it can be utilized to reduce time seriesdimension. HFD estimation then is applied to the signal spectrumand it is treated as input to clustering method. The result of thisclustering shows that HFD approach can be considered as analternative method for dimensional reduction purposes.Compared with previous study result as ground truth, the HFDapproach clustering provides some similarities in certain degree.Tested with two kinds of data test sample, this approach results 6and 7 group similarities of 10 groups. Keywords: DNA Sequences, Fractal, Inter Nucleotide Distances

Abstract

ABSTRACT -- Many researches show that time series data is a kind of data which has biggest volume and growth compared to the others kind of data. Parallel with its huge volume and rapid growth, it is always needed new method, technique or approach to explore knowledge contained in time series data. One of many goals in data mining of time series is anomaly detection. By definition fractal is an object that has such self similarities in certain degree. This paper presents the results study of HFD (Higuchi Fractal Dimension) approach for clustering to detect the existence of an anomaly or deviation in time series data. This proposed method is applied to PT.PGN daily stock trade year 2004 to 2012 as test data. The results show that for value of discrete interval k = 5, 10, 15 their HFD tend to diverge and there are tend to converge to 2 for the greater value of k. Based on HFD time series clustering results, this approach can be used to divide the normal data and the other data that contain certain anomaly. In this study is also shown that this approach provides a better result compared to adjustment method which fill unbalance time series data with a zero value. Keywords: time series, anomaly, dimensionality reduction, fractal dimension, clustering

Abstract

ABSTRAK -- Dari tahun ke tahun alokasi dan realisasi konsumsi BBM bersubsidi selalu menjadi permasalahan baik karenajumlahnya yang selalu meningkat dan realisasinya yang selalu melebihi perencanaan. Penimbunan,penyelundupan, dan penyelewengan merupakan permsalahan – permasalahan lain terkait konsumsi BBMbersubsidi. Data Mining (DM) telah digunakan secara luas di berbagai sektor kehidupan untuk membantuperkiraan maupun deskripsi obyek data dalam basis data. Makalah ini menyajikan studi awal penerapan DMuntuk tujuan perkiraan yang akan diterapkan pada perilaku konsumsi BBM bersubsidi di tingkat Kabupaten /Kota. Metoda penelitian yang dilakukan pada studi awal ini adalah studi literatur mengenai penerapan DMuntuk tujuan perkiraan, studi literatur mengenai pola konsumsi BBM bersubsidi, serta pemilihan operasi DMdan penyusuan konsep model DM untuk perkiraan konsumsi BBM bersubsidi. Hasil dari penelitian awal iniadalah identifikasi parameter yang merupakan faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi konsumsi BBM bersubsidi diKabupaten / Kota dan konsep model DM perkiraan perilaku konsumsi BBM bersubsidi. Kata Kunci: bbm bersubsidi, faktor pengaruh konsumsi, data mining, perkiraan
