Dimas: Jurnal Pemikiran Agama untuk Pemberdayaan is a social-religious research journal published by Institute for Research and Community Services (LP2M), UIN Walisongo Semarang. The focus of this journal is to disseminate research results based on community services, increasing the capacity of society and community empowerment, and innovations of community empowerment in all districts around Indonesia. This journal covers textual and fieldwork studies on those issues from various fields including law, economy, social, philosophy, history, mysticism, art, theology, and others.

<![CDATA[It is the fact that technology has developed rapidly today. Such a development has influenced communication pattern among people, including communication in the field of education, particularly the process of instruction in a class between teacher and student. Audio visual aids began to be utilized to deliver educational messages. In this case, these audio visual aids were functioned not merely as device aids in education but more than that they can function as an effecitve educational message deliverer. To support the success of teaching and learning process in a class, the utilization of audio visual aids need to be maximized. The utilization of instructional media, especially the ones based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a must and need to be adopted by all teachers today if they wish to have effective and efficient instructions. This is valid for not only teachers who work in formal educational institution like a school, but also for teachers working in non-formal educational institution such as educational park of the Quran (TPQ).]]>

<![CDATA[The case of bullying often affects children, both at home and at school. Even in school kindergarten (TK) or at Early Childhood Education (ECD) also cases of bullying. Children's early childhood was the golden age in which cognition, emotion and physically is undergoing rapid development. It takes skill of teachers to recognize, identify and overcome. Teachers as a companion of children in school need training in child psychology, especially in dealing with cases of bullying in order to give a proper stimulant in shaping the personality of the child character. <![CDATA[This paper tries to uncover the alleged conflict regarding the building of the church in the village of the Dermolo Kembang District Jepara Regency precarious and prone to conflict ended with shade. Also who those parties are considered to play a role in the effort to create a conducive climate. As a result, first, in order to optimize the role of religious institutions to manage the plurality of fine, completion of religious harmony in the village Dermolo Jepara regency using hearted approach, meaning invited intensive communication and sit down with all parties on a regular basis until otherwise completed while wary lest result of the agreement provoked by the person who does not like the conditions of security and peace. Second, community, religious leaders, and religious institutions play an important role in creating such harmony.]]>

The role of zakat institutions will be more pronounced benefits than just being a majlis taklim. <![CDATA[The seriousness of the school/madrasah in updating instructional media hampered by the incompetence of some teachers use ICT-based learning media as one way of presenting the material. Mastery and knowledge of information technology will facilitate the teacher in finding the source of learning, so that students will not get bored attend classes. ICT training has been able to change mindside teacher of the conventional learning becomes more interactive learning. Teachers are becoming more aware that the presence of technology is inevitable in the learning process. <![CDATA[Lack of attention and guidance from parents to children, resulting in the child will be negatively affected in the use media.Minat kids to reading material that is very important for children of school age actually outweighed by the interests of children to television. Media literacy programs required to address issues Government Elementary School students (MI) Al-Hikmah Ngadirejo Hamlet Village Resources Simo Boyolali District of which are susceptible to the negative influence of television media. Also the students are still low interest in reading. Results of media literacy is the strengthening of the students' interest in reading MI Alhikmah Source Simo Boyolali and increased knowledge and understanding of students and parents about the negative and positive impacts of the television media.]]>

<![CDATA[English Language Learning in some schools had not been conducted maximally. One of the influencing factors was the pedagogic and professional competence of the teachers which had not met the standard as mentioned in the Permendikbud No 16 Year 2007. Lesson Study and Classroom Action was expected to enhance pedagogic and professional competence to meet the process standard and the quality of English teaching learning process in general. The achievement indicators of this program were: (1) arranging lesson plan based on the requirement of process standard, (2) understanding and implementing contextual learning, (3) creating varied learning activities based on text-based learning, (4) choosing and developing learning media appropriately, (5) developing and delivering learning materials, (6) Arranging instrument and conducting assessment and evaluation, (7) doing reflective teaching, (8) enhancing teaching preparedness, (9) planning a Classroom Action Research.]]>

<![CDATA[Starting in 2016, It is compulsory for every child in Indonesia to learn in kindergarten school for 1 year according to the rules of UNESCO. This rule makes a lot of kindergartens providing alternative extra curricular such as Basic English extracurricular to attract parents to educate their children at the school. But unfortunately sometimes the school neglect the quality of school teachers who will teach the English extracurricular. It is make the writer provides an alternative solution for the kindergarten school to make an Basic English application. The created applications is the application of a basic level of English language by using the learning by playing method as an alternative learning. Method of learning by playing is a method of studying subjects for kindergarten children using the game. Therefore, application of Basic English is made using such methods. The benefits of the basic English application using the method of learning by playing are 1) to help teachers who teach basic English to minimize the errors in teaching, 2) to alleviate expenses to recruit new English teachers, and 3) to save the youth Muslim generation’sintelligence from an early age.]]>
