The validation model is conducted in one company that making wire in Indonesia. Respondents are the members of Production Planning Control division. Data managemaent is conducted through Structural Equation Modelling method along with Planning Control. The data result shows that the influential key factor towards the effectiveness transfer tacit knowledge process among individuals in one division is the ability of teaching sources, receiver absorbency, evidence and trust.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in the automotive sector. Problems faced by companies today is the engine damage that often occurs during the production process therefore delaying the production process. Maintenance activities by the company is corrective maintenance, but there are preventive maintenance treatments which include cleaning and lubrication of machines carried out during holidays. Through already collected data it can be proposed for the company to have preventive maintenance with replacement and inspection engine components. Therefore, it is also necessary to take maintenance scheduling into the account of production scheduling. The focus of this research is the optimization of production scheduling in consideration with maintenance scheduling using makespan minimization criterias. The comparison of production scheduling that takes into account maintenance scheduling and maintenance scheduling with merging adjacent inspection and replacement timing is a difference of 0599% in January 2010, 0038% in May 2010 and 0221% in June 2010.

Accidents often occur in the company. In order to prevent accidents, the company must consider the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) of its employees. This study discussed about K3, especially the calculation and analysis of the value of the Frequency Rate (FR), Severity Rate (SR), and Medical Treatment Injury Frequency Rate (MTIFR) Company from 2009 to downy mildew in June of 2010. The values of FR, SR, and MTIFR obtained varied because of differences in the number of accidents and total working hours of existing employees. After that, an analysis is conducted on the causes of these accidents. Direct cause of the accident consisted of 2 reasons, namely unsafe act and unsafe condition. Basic causes of accidents were 2 factors, namely individual factors and work factors. Abstract

Standardization have moved rapidly following the development of science and technology and the need of trade. So that, to facilitate trade and to protect domestic consumers, we need supply or standards appropriately, such as study of new area of standardization with international standard and SNI development approach. The determination of priority of new area of standardization to be done by analysis the standards growth, use the same ICS, compare with the growth of international standards (ISO & IEC) versus SNI. The growth is measured by the growth curve slope during year 1991-2007, with slope more than 50% is meant high. Several new area of standardization from the study include Information technology, Sinematography, Radiation, and medical laboratorium science.
