Abstract

Implementing pattern recognition techniques into quality of design/manufacturing processes will be guidelines to cover the Management Support System (MSS). All situations normally occurs either in the design phase or proccess analysis such as, engineering and manufacturing reviews. A summary of an engineer’s and team’s thoughts (including an analysis of items that could go wrong based on experience and past concerns) as a component, subsystem or system is designed to create MSS. This approach will consider the Clustering techniques in the Decision Support Principle Components Analysis (PCA) that parallels the systematic formalizes the management disciplines that an engineer normally goes in any activities or process.

Abstract

If an  industry  wants to get product out put with competitive high quality, price, and time precise, it must be able to efficient the production process. One of way to reach it is by improving the utilize of tools and engine. That will come true if it supported by a good nursery management so it can produce a supportive decision of production activity and minimize the down time.

Abstract

This Article explains the outputs of the chair prototype research and do not explains the process of the chair design. Based on the obtained data, further is performed design of a chair and make its prototype. The result of the examination to some respondents during 60 minutes shows that sewing in the old chair average 116 pulses/minute, while using the new one is 104 pulses/minute. The frequency of sitting position change decreases from 13 times in the old chair to be 5 times in the new one. The questionnaire shows that using the new design gives better conformity than the old one. In this case, it can be concluded that sewing in the new design chair gives better conformity and increases the production comparing with using the old one.

Abstract

The purpose of quality control that is done by a company is to give a qualified product to costumer and keep the company image. The best quality control for this time is Six Sigma quality control that has a goal to get Defect Per Million Opportunity (DPMO) for 3,4 or 99,99966% from what the customer expected from the product. The purpose of this research is to identify a problem that have connection with quality and element that becomes the biggest Cost To Quality (CTQ) on container bottle production process using Six Sigma method.

Abstract

A long with the increasing of market demand on XYZ company product, it will be opened a new design sub line in Surabaya. The purpose of this article is to give working station design suggestion and design sub line working element for production capacity 450 unit/day and measuring efficiency on every working station. That is why, it need a follow up research to get the description of the problems. The problems can be identified after that and then start with data collection that consist of company general data, working element data, and working measure data that collect from direct measurement using stopwatch. After the data is collected, the next step is process data to be use as a basic planning in developing working station.

Abstract

A lot of manufacture industry companies still have not implemented safety and health working management system. Whereas, the Indonesia government has announced a legislation to manage working safety.  Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (PT IKPP) company Tangerang, in order to fulfil safety and health working has implementing safety and health working management system in their company. To measure safety and health working management system that has been done, comparison between results data in the field with policy that set up by Indonesia government. Based on the comparison, the safety and health working management system is done about 75 percent.

Abstract

Article presents manufacture information system design in Astra manufacture institute injection plastic laboratory. In manufacture process, the working productivity is increase to lowered the costs. Information system on manufacture process needs to defined more detail and specific so the information can be access transparantly and the miss use of information did not happen. Manufacture information system can support the whole production process to produce high quality product, precise, and with low costs.
