Abstract

The advancement of information technology is needed by every company. One for instance is the company of PT Pustaka Imam Asy-Syafi’i, in religious book production. In its production process, the system is still conventional; therefore there are troubles found especially in communication, recording, and scheduling. The purpose of this research is to analyse and design a production process system that create the latest that could help solving today’s production process problems. The research method that use dis data collecting method in doing quetionnaire analysis and analysis method by analysing needs and giving solution system, and then designing method application. The result concluded is the integrated production system that could increase production process work, which will be seen from value changing of a SWOT in the company. The conclusion could be seen from the second SWOT result which consists of increased performance in scheduling production process, increased performance in reporting production process, and increased communication effectivity per section.Keywords: production, SWOT, supply chain management

Abstract

Information now is an important element to every growing industry in the world. Inorder to keep up with other competitors, endless improvements in optimizing overall efficiency areneeded. There still exist barriers that separate departments in PT. XYZ and cause limitation to theinformation sharing in the system. Open-Source Manufacturing Execution System (MES) presentsas an IT-based application that offers wide variety of customization to eliminate stovepipes bysharing information between departments. Benchmarking is used to choose the best Open-SourceMES Application; and Dynamic System Development Method (DSDM) is adopted as this workguideline. Abstract

The objective of the research was to produce a drawing table system with 2-aksis XY-table method and EMCsoftware implementation. The EMC (Enhanced Machine Control) features are integrated with L297 and L298 as a motorstepper driver to draw simple objects. Methods used in the research are library research, engineering, and laboratory.The results concluded that system can work properly to draw objects such as square, triangle, circle, and capital lettersA-Z according to the given input.

Abstract

Food is the main basic need of human, because of that fulfillment of human need of food has to be fulfilled. So it can fulfill that need, then government institution, Food Security Agency (BKP) is formed so it can monitor fulfillment of food need of society. The goals of this writing are to develop food security information system that provides dashboard facility based on business intelligence, to develop food security information system that can give fast, precise and real time information about food security, to develop decision-making support system for chairman in food security institution. Data is obtained from questionnaires to 51 respondents that are chairmen in Food Security Agency. Data is analyzed with SWOT analysis method for business environment and IT balanced scorecard (IT BSC) for IS/IT environment. The result of analysis of food security information system in Food Security Agency can help chairman in decision-making by presenting information about dashboard that gives fast, precise and real time information. It can be concluded that development of information is successfully done.

Abstract

The development of expert systems–based applications has been very popular since 1950, with a rather wide coverage. Expert systems in organizations are aimed at adding value, increasing productivity and assisting management to take quick decisions. Similarly, organization engaging in the farming industry, while very promising, requires high awareness against diseases, such as poultry (chicken) which are very susceptible to various types of diseases caused by viruses or bacteria. Benefits of implementing the expert system are that they can diagnose the symptoms of diseases quickly and accurately and they are expected to be able to help farmers in anticipating the losses resulting from disease attack. Abstract

This research describes the improvement of computer network performance with bandwidth management in Kemurnian II Senior High School. The main issue of this research is the absence of bandwidth division on computer, which makes user who is downloading data, the provided bandwidth will be absorbed by the user. It leads other users do not get the bandwidth. Besides that, it has been done IP address division on each room, such as computer, teacher and administration room for supporting learning process in Kemurnian II Senior High School, so wireless network is needed. The method is location observation and interview with related parties in Kemurnian II Senior High School, the network analysis has run and designed a new topology network including the wireless network along with its configuration and separation bandwidth on microtic router and its limitation. The result is network traffic on Kemurnian II Senior High School can be shared evenly to each user; IX and IIX traffic are separated, which improve the speed on network access at school and the implementation of wireless network.Keywords: Bandwidth Management; Wireless Network

Abstract

The development of mobile applications has mushroomed in local and foreign industries. This provides a tremendous opportunity for developers. For technopreneur developer, the capital to run the business is one of the biggest problems despite the fact that they may have great competence in the field. The fact that the business has big potential market in Indonesia has invited investors from local and overseas to invest as venture capital. However, due to the lack of knowledge on building collaboration with the investors and on understanding the market and investor needs in a long term, the developer finds difficulties to grow its business and to compete with bigger competitors. The research intends to seek the influence in selecting the level of revenue and market segmentation to support the investment decisions in the business of mobile applications, so that the mobile application developer is able to monetize their business to attract investors to invest in the venture capital.

Abstract

Article presented a measurement of Information Technology (IT) risk levels and identify security practices whichwere suitable in the risk overcoming, as noted in PTNL. Company was also expected to be more alert to the risk impactsof information technology which might occur in PTNL. Analytical method used was OCTAVE-S method. This method wasused in a risk measurement of information technology risk, with some steps which had important roles in searching for themeasurement results effectively and efficiently, which were applied in PTNL. The results which will be achieved were to giveoverall results of risk measurement occurred at the company, either the plus or minus, and provide recommendations whichare expected to solve and correct the minus or problems which occurred in PTNL. The purpose of the study is to determine if general control and application control at PT AJ is sufficient in running the system of cash sale in an efficient and effective. Conclusion obtained are more adequate level of internal control reliability in handling the risks that may occur so that the information produced will be more rapid, accurate, and reliable to support decision making from management.
