Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Terbit tiga kali dalam setahun yakni April, Agustus dan Desember. Terbit pertama kali untuk edisi April 2012. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh suatu gambaran dalam peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan untuk memperoleh suatu gambaran dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 106816 Marindal II Kecamatan Patumbak  pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui pendekatan inkuiri. Dari hasil pengamatan dan data yang diperoleh pada siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 106816 Marindal II Kecamatan Patumbak, menunjukkan proses pembelajaran di kelas dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui metode pendekatan inkuiri, rnemperoleh informasi tentang tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa, tanggapan guru dan siswa setelah pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inkuiri dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah dengan melalui: Tes,  Observasi, Wawancara, dan  Angket respon siswa. Dari hasil analisis data terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan inkuiri diperoleh hasil bahwa lebih tinggi siklus 2 dibanding dengan siklus 1. Dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui pendekatan inkuiri, guru terlebih dahulu menciptakan suasana kelas yang demokratis dan menyenangkan sehingga pendapat dapat diungkapkan secara bebas dan baik.  Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penggunaan pendekatan inkuiri dapat lebih meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS , Penggunaan pendekatan inkuiri dapat lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS , Guru memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap pembelajaran IPS dengan pendekatan inkuiri. Sebab guru merasakan tidak lagi sebagai pusat pembelajaran yang menjemukan, tetapi guru hanyalah sebagai fasilitator dalam pembelajaran, dan Siswa memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap pembelajaran IPS dengan pendekatan inkuiri. Tercermin dari tanggapan siswa terhadap angket yang di berikan dan dijawab oleh siswa. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inkuiri telah mampu menyentuh langsung dengan keinginan siswa itu sendiri dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan siswa. Dari hasil yang diperoleh, bahwa yang perlu diperbaiki pada tindakan di siklus 2 adalah perlu adanya bimbingan secara khusus siswa yang kerjanya agak lambat daripada temannya kemudian bagi siswa yang cepat penalarannya dalam berpikir kritis akan diberikan tambahan soal yang lebih menantang. Kepada pihak sekolah sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan inkuiri dapat mempersiapkan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai seperti media pembelajaran, karena pendekatan inkuiri mengharuskan keterlibatan siswa secara langsung.

Abstract

Abstrak: The low activity of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 101 777 Saentis in the subject Civics in the subject matter government institutions at the central level. Therefore, this study aims to improve the students' learning activities on the subjects of Civics in the subject matter of Government Institutions in Central Level Elementary School fourth grade Saentis 101 777 FY 2013/2014. This type of research is a classroom action research. Subject of classroom action research conducted in class IV SD, totaling 31 people. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. This classroom action research consisted of 2 cycles. From the results of this study concluded that the hypothesis that the activity of student learning will increase if the applied active learning strategies trading type place on the subjects of Civics subject matter pemerintaha Institute for Central Level Elementary School fourth grade students 101 777 Saentis TA 2013/2014. Expected to increase activity on civics lesson on the subject matter of government institutions at the central level using active learning strategies trading type place.

Abstract

This study aimed to produce IPS theacing book of Simalungun local historical.The Research type was Research and Development in grade IV SD Negeri 091317 Pamatang Raya, SD Negeri 091341 Bintang Mariah, SD Negeri 091332 Raya Bayu, SD Negeri 095160 Sihubu. This research referred to research and development model of Sugiyono which in its implementation the research and test done to develop existing product. The sample in this research and development  amounting to 102 students. The theacing book developed before being tested has met the eligibility criteria. The validation results of material expert (94.44% = excellent), linguist (95.31% = excellent), presentation expert (98.86% = excellent). The validation result of  the figures (95%; 92.5%; 97.5% = excellent), and the validation results of practitioners as implementers of learning at the research places (92.5%; 95%; 90%; 92.5%; 97.5% = very good). Effective theacing book can improve students  learning outcomes, based on pre-test and post-test result. The experiments conducted resulted in and increase in student learning outcomes and 90 students meeting the minimum mastery standard (KKM) or 88.24% completing the learning. The assessment of students learning outcomes based on pre-test and post-test was analyzed by using Gain. Based on the date, the average Gain score was 0.7 in high criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the gross motor improvement of early childhood byusing the method of playing coconut shell stilts. This research is a classroom actionresearch. In cycle I it was found that gross motor skills of early childhood 68% ofchildren who were able to classically or 17 children who completed learning and 8 morechildren who were not yet completed, had not yet achieved the predetermined successcriteria of 80% of children overall, caused by : lack of teachers 'ability to direct earlychildhood in playing coconut shells, lack of teachers' ability to manage time and childrenlack enthusiasm to use coconut shells. In the second cycle, improvements were made,namely: giving examples according to the steps to play coconut shell stilts, the resultsobtained in this second cycle were 92% of early childhood or 23 children were able toplay coconut shells in a classical manner. As a result the child was seen active in theprocess of motor learning in the RA Al-Hidayah group B Medan. The impact can be seenin mastery of motion and ultimately can improve the gross motor skills of children. Theimplication of this research is that teachers in RA Al-Hidayah Medan are expected to usecoconut shells as a method to improve gross motor skills of early childhood.

Abstract

Efforts to Increase Interest and Skill Problem Solving Math Students to Content Multiplication Operation Count Numbers Through Jarimagic Method in Class II Elementary School Lam Ura-Large of Aceh district ".Tesis. Terrain: Graduate Program, State University of Medan in 2015. This study aims to: (1) Increase student interest, (2) Improve the ability of students' mathematical problem solving (3) Knowing mastery learning students using jarimagic. This research is conducted in a class action class II Elementary School Lam ura-Large of Aceh with the number of students as many as 20 people. Instruments used to collect the data consists of mathematical problem solving ability test, observation sheet student activity and the ability of teachers to manage learning, observation sheet on student interest. The results showed: (1) learning with Jarimagic method can improve students' mathematical problem solving. For classical class on the first cycle of 72.8% in the first meeting and 75.3% in the second meeting, on the second cycle into 80.05% in the first meeting and 84.3% in the second meeting, (2) learning methods jarimagic can increase student interest, for observation scores increased from 70.1% interest in the first cycle to 84% in the second cycle, (3) the application of learning with jarimajic method for effective mathematics learning process, marked by the achievement of (i) the classical completeness of 85 % above the defined criteria, namely 80%, and an average grade of 82.2 above the defined criteria, namely 80%, (ii) the percentage of student activity both categories of 78.6% in the first meeting and the second meeting of 83.9% in the second cycle, to the ability of teachers to manage learning by 85.1% above the defined criteria, namely 80%, (ii) time-efficient, where the application of learning has been implemented in accordance with the time on RPP.Rekomendasi on the results of this study are the teachers to implement jarimagic learning method as an alternative effort to increase interest and solving mathematical problems students especially in arithmetic operations of multiplication material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan tuntutan SK/KD dalam kurikulum dan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pendidik dalam mengajarkan materi Peninggalan Sejarah pada mata pelajaran IPS SD kelas IV di kota Medan, serta untuk mengetahui efektifitas bahan ajar pada pelajaran IPS materi Peninggalan Sejarah yang telah dikembangkan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SD Negeri 066661 Medan Deli. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket kuisioner validasi bahan ajar dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Data validitas dianalisis menggunakan persentase skor. Klasifikasi persentase ditafsirkan dengan kalimat yang lebih kualitatif. Skor tes hasil belajar dianalisis dengan ketuntasan individual dan klasikal sesuai dengan yang ditetapkan dalam KTSP. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) produk yang dihasilkan telah valid dan layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPS SD kelas IV pada materi “Peninggalan Sejarah”, (2) efektifitas bahan ajar dapat dilihat dari perolehan ketuntasan individual dan klasikal siswa. Kata kunci: penelitian pengembangan, bahan ajar, peninggalan sejarah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and students' social skills, and the use of the Problem Based Lerning model. This research is a classroom action research. The results showed that in the first cycle the average student for the three assessments was 2.31, then in the second cycle the average student for the three assessments was. 3.20. An increase of 2.96% for the assessment of student learning outcomes. For students' social skills there is also an increase from cycle I to cycle II. The indicator of "cooperating with other friends" increased to 66.67% to 86.67%; "Controlling emotions" increased from 76.67% to 80%; "Interacting with other friends" increased from 60% to 87.67%; "Managing conflict" increased from 76.67% to 93.33%; "Tolerance" increased from 73.33% to 86.67%; "Cultivating sportsmanship and discipline" increased from 70% to 80%; "Listening to other friends" increased from 63.33% to 80%; "Communicating with other friends" increased from 73.33% to 80%; and the "lead" indicator increased from 70% to 83.33%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes obtained by teachers and students after using the integrated learning model Conneted Learning in State Elementary Schools 097358 Negri Lawan. This type of research is a school action carried out as much as 2 cycles. Data collection methods are used, observation sheets, observations, and photos. From the analysis obtained early learning or before being given an action, it can be seen that the average grade of the class is 66.9 and the percentage of the category is quite 100%, either 0% / In the first cycle of action with the official visit of the education supervisor at SDN 097358 Negri Selawan obtained an average value class 76.1 with 0% enough category percentage and 100% enough category. This shows an increase in pre-cycle test results both in terms of grade averages and observations of learning implementation. In the second cycle of action by visiting educational supervisors, the average value of the class increased by 91.9 and the observation value of learning implementation increased.

Abstract

Improved Literacy Starters In Through Thematic Mueller Method In Class 1 060808 SD Negeri Medan. This study aims to improve the reading skills beginning thematically through Mueller method. This research is a class act. The subjects of this study were fifty grade I. Data collection used is the ability to read the beginning of the test, observation learning process. Observations made on any action to obtain data on student activities that develop during the learning takes place. Data analysis was descriptive nature. The results showed: 1) Learning in the first cycle in the process and the results showed improved learning outcomes with an average of 71.24, 2) in the second cycle based on learning processes and learning outcomes show an increase over the 80.22. In classical mastery level of 70% of students increased to 86%. Based on the findings it can be concluded that Mueller method can improve the ability of students to read the beginning of thematic learning and make students more enjoyable. This Mueller's method can be used to be one alternative for teachers in presenting thematic teaching beginning reading.

Abstract

This research aims to develop cognitive and creativity of group B through playing block activities in TK Plus Private Darul Ilmi Murni Medan. This research is a classroom action research (Class Room Action Research) it is a research done by teachers to improve the learning process. The study consists of four steps, namely: (a) planning (planning): (b) action (action): (c) observation (observing): (d) the reflection (reflecting). Based on the results of the above research can be concluded that through the activities of playing the beam can develop the cognitive and creativity of children in Kindergarten Plus Private Private Darul Ilmi Murni Medan.
