Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out through the Observation of School Supervisors on the Implementation of the SQ3R Learning Model at SDN 094131 Batu Silangit This type of research is a classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were 6 public elementary school teachers. Data collection methods are used, observation sheets, and photos. At the initial ability or before being given an action, it can be seen that the average grade of the class is 70.9 and the percentage of categories is quite 100%, either 0%. The first cycle of action with the application of the SQ3R learning model through supervisor observation techniques obtained an average grade of 85.2 with a percentage of 0% enough categories and 100% enough categories. This shows an increase in pre-action test results both in terms of average class and teacher performance. In the second cycle with the application of the SQ3R learning model through supervisor observation techniques, it was found that the average grade of the class increased by 92.7 and the observation value of the teacher's activity increased to reach 100%. And the application of the SQ3R model of learning methods has a positive effect, which can increase student motivation Regency which is shown by the results of interviews with several students, the average answer states that students are interested and interested in the learning methods of the SQ3R model so they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Application Type STAD Cooperative Learning Model Learning Through PAIKEM to Enhance Science Learning Outcomes and Student Social Skills Class VIA SDN PTPN II Tanjungmorawa. Postgraduate School of the State University of Medan, 2011. Learning science is dominated by teachers and their regular evaluation form that is more oriented to the results so far provide less opportunity for students to engage actively in the learning process, teachers become the center and learning resources. This is because learning has been more focused on teachers. Model type STAD cooperative learning is one alternative for the learning science, so that expected learning outcomes, social skills and increased student activity. This study is a classroom action research conducted in the classroom VIA SDN 105855 PTPN II Tanjungmorawa by the number of students 31 people. Instruments used to collect test data consists of test results to learn science, observation sheet and observation sheet student activities teacher’s ability to manage learning, and students’ social skills questionnaire. Analysis of the data to see an increase in learning outcomes, social skills and activities of students processed using the program Ms. Excel. From the results of research can be concluded that the application type STAD cooperative learning can enhance students science learning outcomes. It is known that an increased in the average score of the six domains of cognitive science learning outcomes of the cycle I to cycle II, namely: knowledge (C1) increased from 22 to 25; understanding  (C2) increased from 19 to 26; application  (C3) increased from 21,5 to 22,4; analysis  (C4) increased from 19,33 to 22,33; development (C5) increased from 19,33 to 23,33; and proof (C6) increased from 25,5 to 28. Social skills of students has also interested. It can be seen the percentage of total students increasing from the ten indicators are: working in someone else; show social responsibility; controlling emotions; interact with others; manage conflict; tolerace; cultivate sportsmanship and discipline; listening to another friend; communicate with others, and lead. STAD cooperative learning model type should be one alternative for science teachers in presenting lessons

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan menggunakan media gambar pada siswa kelas II B SDN 104205 Tembung. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II B SDN 104205 Tembung  yang berjumlah 25 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas, guru melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Media Gambar Pada Siswa kelas II B SD Negeri 104205 Tembung, maka dapat ditarik beberapa kesimpulan yaitu perhatian siswa akan terfokus pada pelajaran jika guru menyajikannya menggunakan model yang sesuai dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktifitas belajar siswa, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai rata – rata tes hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas II B Berdasarkan pre test yang telah dilakukan diperoleh gambaran letak kesulitan siswa yaitu siswa kurang mampu memahami materi pelajaran yang diberikan. Pada Tes Awal dari 25 siswa diperoleh nilai rata – rata secara klasikal yaitu 48,8 dengan presentase ketuntasan 28% atau sebanyak 7 orang siswa yang sudah tuntas. Pada Siklus I dari 25 siswa diperoleh nilai rata – rata secara klasikal yaitu 60,4 dengan presentase ketuntasan 48 % atau sebanyak 12 orang siswa yang sudah tuntas. Pada Siklus II dari 25 siswa diperoleh nilai rata – rata secara klasikal yaitu 73,2 dengan presentase ketuntasan 80 % atau sebanyak 20 orang siswa yang sudah tuntas.   Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media gambar, dan bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) problem of learning media on problem learning in mathematics (2) the feasibility of problem-based learning media on the learning of flat matter mathematics, and (3) the effectiveness of problem-based learning video media on learning mathematics of flat wake matter in class V in SD Negeri 101874 Kabupaten Deli Serdang. The subjects of this study are the students of grade V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis with a total of 30 students. This type of research is development research using Thiagarajan development model with Four-D (Model 4-D). The research instruments used were expert opinion questionnaire, student response questionnaire, teacher response questionnaire, and student learning result test instrument. The research findings show: (1) valid problem-based learning video used in learning mathematics of flat wake material in class V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang, (2) problem-based learning video suitable for learning mathematics of flat wake material in class V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang, and (3) problem-based learning videos are effectively used in learning mathematics of flat waking materials in class V SD Negeri 101874 Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang.

Abstract

This study aims to know how the implementation of learning to count in TK ASSISI Medan. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research to see the implementation of numeracy learning in TK ASSISI Medan. Retrieval The data source in this study was purposive sampling, namely 3 classes of TK B ASSISI Medan, namely TK B1, TK B3, and TK B5. Data collection techniques used were non-participant observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study showed that seen from the Zoltan P Dienes theory that the implementation of numeracy learning in TK ASSISI Medan still did not involve children in learning, games were still rarely performed and the media and teaching aids were also still underused.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : (1) Perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajran matematika realistik kelompok dan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran matematika realistik individu, (2) Perbedaan hasil belajar matematika antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berfikir logis tinggi dan memiliki kemampuan berfikir logis rendah, (3) Interaksi antara pembelajaran matematika realistik dan kemampuan berfikir logis terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SD Bharlind School Medan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD Bharlind school Medan, berjumlah 74 orang yang berasal dari 2 kelas. Jumlah sampel penelitian untuk pembelajaran matematika realistik kelompok terdiri 38 siswa dan 36 siswa untuk pembelajaran matematika realistik individu. Instrumen pengukuran untuk mengukur hasil belajar digunakan tes berbentuk essay tes yang terdiri dari 8 soal yang meiliki koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,75. Metode penelitian menggunakkan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitan factorial 2x2. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran matematika realistik kelompok ( = 23,97) lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran matematika realistik individu ( = 22,88) dengan Fhitung = 4,50 > Ftabel = 3,97 , (2) Hasil belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berfikir logis tinggi  ( = 24,41) lebih tinggi daripada hasil belajar siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berfikir logis rendah ( = 22,00), dengan Fhitung=15,22 > Ftabel = 3,97, (3) Terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran matematika realistik dan kemampuan berfikir logis terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, dengan Fhitung = 28,50 > Ftabel = 3,97. Perhitungan uji lanjut dengna uji Scheffe menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar matematika antara pembelajaran matematika realistik kelompok dan pembelajaran matematika realistik individu, begitu pula antara kemampuan berfikir logis tinggi dan kemampuan berfikir logis rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the training method can improve learning outcomes math class V SDN 101 768 Tembung. The problem in this study is whether the training method can improve learning outcomes math class V SDN 101 768 Tembung Percut District of Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang regency. The subject of research to all fifth grade students at SDN 101 768 Tembung totaling 34 people, training method. Research was conducted on a mathematic subject "Reducing Fractions". The tools used to collect data in this study is the observation sheet for teachers, observation sheets for student motivation and list of values. The results showed that the initial conditions, the average value of the student count is 41.76%. In the first cycle the average value calculated that 58.67% of students rose from 41.76% to 58.67%., While in the second cycle there is a very significant rise, the average value of students rose to 85,29s%. The number of students who succeed in the beginning is 7 (20.59%), whereas in the first cycle = 16 (47.05%) increased in the second cycle to 29 people (85.29%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bentuk instrumen penilaian yang layak digunakan dalam melaksanakan penilaian autentik aspek keterampilan di kelas IV SDN 028229 Kota Binjai. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yaitu suatu proses penelitian yang dipakai untuk menghasilkan produk berupa instrumen penilaian autentik aspek keterampilan di kelas IV SD dan menguji kelayakannya. Sebagai subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru dan siswa di kelas IV SDN 028229 Kota Binjai, serta ahli validasi sebanyak 3 orang yang memiliki kriteria  sebagai : (a) ahli materi, (b) ahli desain penilaian, dan (c) ahli linguistik/Bahasa Indonesia. Sebagai objek penelitian adalah pengembangan instrumen penilaian autentik aspek keterampilan siswa. Hasil analisis awal terhadap buku guru dan siswa pada kelas IV SD tema 7 Cita-Citaku dengan subtema Aku dan Cita-Citaku, Hebatnya Cita-Citaku dan Giat Meraih Cita-Cita, tidak ditemukan instrumen penilaian keterampilan secara terperinci di setiap sub tema pembelajaran. Berdasarkan perolehan skor validasi dari masing-masing ahli dapat diketahui nilai rata-rata kajian materi sebesar 95,83% dengan kategori sangat baik, desain penilaian dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 87,5% dengan kategori baik dan kajian kebahasaan dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 95,83% dengan karegori sangat baik. Hasil uji coba skala kecil dan skala besar yang telah dilaksanakan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 95,75% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan angket uji kelayakan yang dinilai oleh guru setelah menggunakan instrumen penilaian autentik aspek keterampilan kurikulum 2013 tidak ditemukan kendala dalam menggunakan instrumen tersebut, sehingga instrumen penilaian autentik aspek keterampilan sudah dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan. Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of theme 6 with a model of discovery  learning  in  fourth  grade  students  of  Cebongan  02  Elementary  School  in Salatiga. This research method uses classroom action research which follows the models of Kemmis and Taggart. This study includes 4 stages, namely planning (planning), implementation (acting), observation (observing), and reflection (reflecting). The results showed that the learning outcomes obtained from the results of the first semester middle test consisting of theme 1 and some in theme 2 were less satisfactory at pre-cycle, KKM was 75. Of the 22 students completeness only reached 31.81% or as many as 7 students, while students who did not complete reached 68.18% or 15 students with an average value of 66.5 especially the IPA content. and experienced improvement in the first cycle with a percentage of 63.7% and increased again in the second cycle of 90.9% according to the indicator of success. This study concludes that the Discovery learnig learning model can improve learning outcomes in theme 6 subjects, especially science subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect differences of Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning models on critical thinking skills of fifth grade students in natural sciences subject. This research was true experiment, pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this research were 31 students of SD Negeri Cebongan 01 Salatiga as first experiment class and 31 students of SD Negeri Noborejo 01 Salatiga as second experiment class that were meet precondition test which the result of both samples was normal, homogeneous, and there were no significant differences. The results of this research showed that the first experimental class’ average was 74.97 and second experimental class’ average was 69.03. Based on independent sample T-test, p was 0.002 or p<0.05 it means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The research concluded that there were significant differences in students critical thinking skills using the Discovery Learning model and Problem Based Learning model on the content of Natural Science learning especially for science topic: changing states of matter. In addition, from this study it could be concluded that Discovery Learning models was more suitable in learning activities in changing states of matter that Problem Based Learning.
