Abstract

A smart city is a term thatis often used in a literature that refers to a city's intelligence. The visions of smart city are to utilizeits community resources, improving the quality of its services, and reducing the costs for public administration operations. Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the main keys. To accomplish the visions, IoT needs to standardize the technology and web by developing the platform on a large scale. It is a challenge for the city to build widely distributed applications and platforms on the Web. The Microservice Architecture style comes up and offers a lot of convenience and it becomes a new trend for developing Smart City IoT platforms. Before Microservice Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture was previously widely used. To find out Microservice Architecture’s simplicity and potentials, there are two steps to follow: (1) Setting up a Search Strategy on literature review to collect subset of papers with Google Scholar, (2) synthesizing and compiling a subset of literature review to extract data and information to be a literature view. After some reviews of the literatures, most of them agree with the use of microservices architecture in creating or developing a smart city of IoT because the microservices architecture offers a lot and can help the work of IoT smart city developers.

Abstract

The need for data analysis in tertiary education every semester is needed, this is due to the increasingly large and uncontrolled data, on the other hand generally higher education does not yet have a data warehouse and big data analysis to maintain data quality at tertiary institutions is not easy, especially to estimate the results of university accreditation high, because the data continues to grow and is not controlled, the purpose of this study is to apply k-medoids clustering by applying the calculation of the weighting matrix of higher education accreditation with the data of the last 3 years namely length of study, average GPA, student and lecturer ratio and the number of lecturers according to the study program, so that it can predict accurate cluster results, the results of this study indicate that k-medoid clustering produces good cluster data results with an evaluation value of the Bouldin index davies cluster index of 0.407029478 and is said to be a good cluster result.

Abstract

Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) merupakan Daerah Tujuan Wisata (DTW) yang terletak pada jalur segi tiga emas yaitu antara Pulau Komodo dan Tanah Toraja. Begitu juga dengan industri yang mendukung berupa perusahaan skala kecil dan menengah mulai bertumbuhan dan mendapatkan dukungan dari pemerintah sejak krisis ekonomi mulai melanda Indonesia pada akhir 1997. Banyak yang belum memanfaatkan dukungan Teknologi Informasi (TI) dalam menjalankan usahanya. Salah satu cara adalah dengan membuat suatu media untuk mempertemukan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dengan pembeli yang tepat, atau mendapatkan penjual bahan baku yang tepat. Perkembangan teknologi internet yang begitu pesat, maka merupakan suatu keharusan UMKM menggunakannya sebagai media komunikasi. Penggunaan internet untuk kebutuhan perdagangan e-commerce telah lama berkembang dalam lingkup Nasional dan Internasional. Dalam penelitian ini membahas model e-commerce terintegrasi dan UMKM sebagai model strategi pemasaran terintegrasi berbasis teknologi informasi dan pembuatan software serta terimplementasinya model dan software tersebut pada UMKM di Kota Mataram NTB. E-commerce dan UMKM didesain menggunakan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan memperhatikan masalah keamanan sistem, perancangan dari sisi diagram alir dan perancangan basis data. Kata kunci: E-commerce, Terintegrasi, Pemasaran, MKM. Abstract West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is a region of the golden triangle stripe of tourism destination located between Komodo island and Tana Toraja. As the industry backing for small and middle scale businesses getting grow up and have got governmental supporting since economical crises hit Indonesia at the end 1997. In fact, many of those who have not yet optimize the information technology (IT) in running their business. The approach to meet the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the proper customer or to find the proper raw material seller is through the media. Development of internet technology is so rapid, it is a necessity of SMEs using it as a business communications medium, because Internet utility for e-commerce complement has long been developed in both national and international scope. Furthermore, the research elaborates the integrated e-commerce model and SMEs as an information technology-based model of integrated marketing strategy besides, software creation and its implementation on SMEs in Mataram municipality. Ecommerce and SMEs were designed to use System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concerning the safety sistem, flowcart diagram and data base design aspects.

LUNG FIELD SEGMENTATION ON COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IMAGE USING ACTIVE SHAPE MODEL a Sri Widodo, bWijiyanto aMedical Record and Health Informatics Academic of Citra Medika Surakarta Samanhudi, Surakarta a Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer Duta Bangsa Surakarta Indonesia E-mail: papa_lucky01@yahoo.com Abstrak Metode saat ini yang banyak digunakan untuk segmentasi bidang paru dari citra CT scan adalah thresholding dan Active Contour, yang mengandalkan kontras dari nilai keabuan antara parenkim paru dan jaringan sekitarnya. Kelemahan dari kedua metode tersebut adalah jika nodul tersebut besar dan terletak pada batas tepi paru, maka nodul tersebut tidak akan masuk dalam citra paru (bagian paru yang terdapat kelainan atau nodul akan hilang). Hal ini berarti proses segmentasi bidang paru dianggap gagal, karena citra nodul yang menjadi pokok perhatian akan hilang. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah segmentasi bidang paru yang mengandung kelainan pada citra CT scan dengan menggunakan Active Shape Model. Kontribusi dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis baru dari Active Shape Model dengan variasi tingkat keabuan dari dua batas objek, yaitu, bidang paru kanan dan kiri. Pada penelitian ini, kami mempertimbangkan struktur gambar lokal, yaitu momen dari histogram lokal yang berasal dari pengurangan antara citra asli dengan citra hasil negasi. Kami juga melakukan segmentasi bidang paru dengan thresholding dan Active Contour, sebagai bahan perbandingan dengan metode yang diusulkan. Hasil dari penelitian kami menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan segmentasi dengan Active Shape Model mempunyai akurasi 94.6%, sensitifitas 90.2%, dan spesifisitas 95.9%. Kata kunci: Active Shape Model, Active Contour, Thresholding. Abstract Current method is widely used for lung field segmentation of CT scan image is Thresholding and Active Contour, which relies on contrast of gray values between lung parenchyma and surrounding tissues. Drawback of both methods is that if nodule is large and located on borders of lung, then nodules will not be included in the image of lung (nodules contained will be lost). This means that segmentation of lung field was considered a failure, because image of nodule is object of attention will be lost. Purpose of this research is lung field segmentation that contain abnormalities in CT scan image using Active Shape Model. Contribution in this paper is a new type of Active Shape Model with gray level variation of two object boundaries, namely right lung field and left lung field. In this study, we consider the local image structure, which moments of a local histogram derived from the subtraction of the original image with the negation image. We also perform lung fields segmentation using thresholding and Active Contour, as a comparison with method we proposed. Results of our study show that segmentation with ASM approach has accuracy 94.6%, sensitivity 90.2%, and specificity of 95.9%. Key words: Active Shape Model, Active Contour, Thresholding

Abstract

Nowadays, email has become the most widely communication way in daily life. Email is a very important method of communicating across the internet. During transmission and downloads, it uses protocols which are not secure. Spammers and scammers misuse these protocols to gain access to critical data stored in the email. This triggered concerns because sometimes email is used to exchange confidential messages. To improve security and efficiency of email system, we made an email security system for Android mobile phone using Hill Cipher algorithm. Hill Cipher is a classic cryptography algorithm that uses matrix inverse and matrix multiplication operations to hide the message. The initial stage of the encryption process is forming ciphertext by multiplying the key matrix with plaintext matrix. The contents of encrypted messages only can be read by legitimate recipient who has the key. Converting the ciphertext into plaintext is done by multiplying the ciphertext matrix with the inverse key matrix. The email content can be a plain message or a message with an attached file.

Abstract

Hospitals are an important part of the health system. This agency consists of several main services, namely Outpatient, Emergency, and Inpatient services. One type of main service that is quite complex and needs to be considered is service at inpatient installations. Regarding this inpatient service, hospitals must make a structural and functional utilization effort to be further improved by increasing the utilization of service space regarding the number of available beds. To measure the level of utilization of hospital facilities at inpatient services, hospital service indicators are needed to measure it. These indicators include BOR (Bed Ocupanccy Rate), which is the percentage of beds filled, LOS (Length of Stay), namely the average length of stay, TOI (Turn Over Interval), which is the average free time of bed, BTO (Bed Turn Over), namely the productivity of the bed. These indicators will be presented in graphical form, namely Barber Johnson Graph. From the values ​​produced by the hospital management, later it can be used as material for planning and decision-making in determining service facility policies in the future. The purpose of this study is to make modeling with a system dynamics so that the value of the indicator can have ideal parameter values. The result of this study is that a scenario is needed to increase the number of patient visits, because patient visits are too low. This is evidenced by the value of the BOR which is less than the ideal value. In addition, the duration of patient care, day of care was influenced by the variable number of patient visits. The results of the scenario show that in 2019 to 2030 the values ​​of BOR, LOS, TOI, and BTO were produced according to the ideal indicator value. Email: liejasa@unud.ac.id Abstrak Turbin digunakan mengkonversi energy potensial menjadi energy kinetik. Kapasitas Energy yang dihasilkan dipengaruhi oleh sudu-sudu turbin yang dipasang pada tepi. Sudu turbin dirancang seorang ahli dengan sudut kelengkungan tertentu. Efisiensi dari turbin dipengaruhi oleh besarnya sudut, jumlah dan bentuk sudu. Algoritma PSO dapat digunakan untuk komputasi dan optimasi dari design turbin mikro hidro. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan; Pertama, Formula design turbin dioptimasi dengan PSO. Kedua, Data hasil optimasi PSO diinputkan kedalam jaringan ANN. Ketiga, training dan testing terhadap simulasi jaringan ANN. Dan yang terakhir, Analisa kesalahanr dari jaringan ANN. Data PSO sebanyak 180 record, 144 digunakan untuk training dan sisanya 40 untuk testing. Hasil penelitian ini adalah MAE= 0.4237, MSE=0.3826, dan SSE=165.2654. Error training terendah didapatkan dengan algoritma pembelajaran trainlm. Kondisi ini membuktikan bahwa jaringan ANN mampu menghasilkan desain turbin yang optimal. Kata kunci: Turbin, PSO, ANN, Energi Abstract Turbines are used to convert potential energy into kinetic energy. The blades installed on the turbine edge influence the amount of energy generated. Turbine blades are designed expertly with specific curvature angles. The number, shape, and angle of the blades influence the turbine efficiency. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm can be used to design and optimize micro-hydro turbines. In this study, we first optimized the formula for turbine using PSO. Second, we input the PSO optimization data into an artificial neural network (ANN). Third, we performed ANN network simulation testing and training. Finally, we conducted ANN network error analysis. From the 180 PSO data records, 144 were used for training, and the remaining 40 were used for testing. The results of this study are as follows: MAE = 0.4237, MSE = 0.3826, and SSE = 165.2654. The lowest training error was achieved when using the trainlm learning algorithm. The results prove that the ANN network can be used for optimizing turbine designs. Abstract

In the industrial sector, in order to increase the company's competitive profit and ratio, must be able to suppress as much expenditure as possible. Product distribution is one of the logistics processes in the industry which consumes the most costs. Products must be distributed to customers in different locations and also with varying requests. The problem belongs to Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) that is considered as one of the complex combinatorial optimization problems included in the NP-Hard Problem category, which is a problem that requires difficult computation and a lot of time along with the increasing size of the problem data. So, in this study improvisation will be carried out in the form of modifying the simulated annealing method to solve the combinatorial problem so that the optimal distance in the case of distribution will be obtained. In addition, in this study a comparison will be made between basic simulated annealing and also improved simulated annealing. Based on the results of the research it is proven that Improved Simulated Annealing can provide a better solution.

Abstract

Factor analysis is a multivariate method that is used to analyze correlation among indicator variables so that it can be mapped into some factors. Previous research has defined the importance of the role of a hyperlink from a website, but did not examine the most influential variables from some specified hyperlink variables. It is therefore necessary to obtain a factor analysis of the factors that affect the quality of a website from some specified hyperlink variables. Due to this analysis, top 25 university websites from webometrics of January 2011 edition rank have been selected as the research objects. The hyperlink data was obtained by utilizing two search engines, Google.com and Yahoo.com, then this hyperlink data were analyzed using factor analysis methods. The result should that the role of hyperlink total factor (0,254) and external hyperlinks factor (0,253) greatly affect the quality of a website on the review in terms of hyperlink perspective with analysis factor. This research also resulted in a new rank of university websites that can be used as one parametric for a good website's according to hyperlink analysis. The results of this analysis was tested at the level of correlation with parameters of size and visibility webometrics using Pearson correlation method with a highly significant result of 0.575.

Abstract

Image retrieval can be divided into two types context-based and the content-based. Image retrieval based on the content refers to the image features such as color, texture, shape, semantics or sensations. This paper addresses the content-base image retrieval system based on expression sensitivity. It can be image or text query for input the system. Based on Itten theory, expression sensitivity consist of warm, cold, relax, anxious, and life. The research system uses two fuzzy inference system. Firstly, fuzzy inference system is used to decide image region of color. The image size is 256 x 256 pixel. Output the first fuzzy inference system is input for the second fuzzy inference system. The second fuzzy inference system is used to determined expression sensitivity of image. Degree of accuracy based on respondent from 50 images and 20 respondents is 42% for text query and 55% for image query. The further research, it can be used for other image such as medical image with certain criteria.
