Abstract

Global economic conditions are depressed and full of uncertainty caused forecasting economic conditions, particularly in the short term becomes much more difficult. The economic growth rate projections made by various international agencies and investment banks are not much different from the government, with an estimated, namely in the range between 4.5% -5.5% during the year 2009. with the existence of such conditions is necessary to study about the prospects of a business tendency index that aims to analyze the plans and policies to be taken by the provincial administration against Tendecy Index Business (ITB) in East Java and the surrounding study was conducted in all districts / cities in the East Java Provincial Government. Abstract

This study aims to analyze how many the economic factors that influence the development of Indonesia's export volume. Variables used in this research are investments (X1), U.S. Dollar Exchange Rate (X2), Export Price Index (X3) and Gross Domestic Product (X4), using secondary data during the period of 15 years ie from year 1993 to 2007. Secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in East Java. From the results obtained by testing the hypothesis that the variables X1, X2, X3, and X4 has a significant (real) on the dependent variable is Volume Exports in Indonesia, this is indicated by the test F test = 8.723 greater than Ftable = 3.48. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression using secondary data for 15 years.Keywords: Investment, Exchange Rate, Export Price Index, GDP

Abstract

Consumers especially the youngest trending to follow global life style and modern have freedom to choice the product when there buying, Therefore the grand problem when happened in Indonesian’s marketer and also food producer are incapability to provide it how did fulfill consumer behaviour local food that take competition from many kind of fast food. This research purposely firstly to analyze factors that influence consumer within buy or consumption fast food and local food. Secondly, to analyze competitive advantage with consumers attitude-trust approach toward attribute of fast food and local food, This research are using Fishbein Methods. Abstract

Each company founded by one or a group of people basically aims to improve customer satisfaction. If customers feel satisfied, then the profit can be obtained automatically. To achieve this goal, management must make decisions quickly and appropriately. This situation requires top management to delegate authority along with a control system, supervision and performance assessment manager underneath. This can be achieved by applying the accounting liability.Battleship Division PT. PAL, the author has not seen the application of accounting responsibilities. Therefore, the authors try to discuss and interpret existing data on the production by comparing the realization of financing and budget irregularities known to have occurred. Through the accountability report of the Outfitting Department, Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Production Support, management can measure the effective and efficient production costs in the company. Abstract

The main purpose of the article is to increase understanding in some personal characteristics affecting creative performance among Indonesian radio station managers’ leadership context. Organizational researchers and managers alike have long held the view that individual creativity is critical for organizational success. The first element of improvement creativity, that is, the ‘person’, is obvious. New ideas are not generated or implemented by organizations or technology, but come into being through efforts of dedicated people. Thus, it is important to understand people’s personality, motivations, skills, level of experiences, and psychological preferences. A number of propositions for future research in relational of individual creativity model are also suggested.Keywords: Creativity, Personal Characteristics, Motivation

Abstract

This study aimed to know the process of implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in by the company and to know the difference in financial performance before and after implementation of the principles of GCG at PT. Petrokimia Gresik (PT. PKG). This research was conducted by using data taken from financial statements in 2003 and 2005 in PT. PKG is then processed by using statistical analysis as a tool to test the hypothesis raised by the researcher that is using "Paired Samples T-test" which is a test performed on two sample pairs. Based on the results of the analysis “Paired Samples T-test" can be concluded that the measurement of financial performance used is based Keputusan Menteri BUMN Nomor Kep.100/M. BUMN/2002: Return On Equity (ROE), Return On Investment (ROI), Cash Ratio, Current Ratio, Collection periods (CP), Inventory Turnover (PP), Turnover Total Asset/Total Asset Turn Over (TATO), and the ratio of Total Equity to Total Assets. Seven indicators of financial performance is ROE, ROI, Cash Ratio, Current Ratio, CP, PP, and TATO is no difference between the financial performance before and after implementation of the principles of GCG at the PT. PKG, while financial performance indicators measured by the ratio of Total Equity to Total Assets has shown there are differences between the financial performance before and after implementation of the principles of GCG in by the company.Keywords: Good Corporate Governance, Financial Performance
