Abstract

Almost every chemical processes in plant growth is always affected by water, in under field capacity condition of soil water contain often cause decreasing on plant growth and production, Because of its water could become very important factor and as limiting factor. Performance of plant is always controlled by interaction between charaters of genetic and environment condition. Every variety of plant'has different responses on environmental stress treatment, included water stress condition. This research is arranged in Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three times replication, Duncan test 5 % is used to compare the difference of every treatments. As the first factor is Water Stress with three levels are: C1 ( 75 % field capacity), C2 (100 % field capacity) and C3 (125 % field capacity) and the second factor is Variety of tomato with five levels are V1 (Sragen variety), V2(Lanjar Blitarvariety), V3 (LV 4066 variety), V4 (Jamaica Cherry variety) and V5 (Sinoloa variety). Results of this research shown that there were significant interaction between water stress treatment and variety on helqht of plant at 34, 44 and 54 days after plant and dry weight of plant. Sragen variety has tendency to adapted well on water stress treatment. Key words: Water Stress, Variety

Abstract

Background of racik coffee industry, was so much tide competition in packed coffee business.Therefore to get a coffee market, some proccessor try a form of coffee with spices ingredient. As ginger, curcume and so on, so that creted a form of coffee with special flavour. Beside that, racik coffee agroindustry cancreate demployment. The objective o this research are(1) to know feasibility of racik coffee agroindustry X in Kediri, (2) profit, and (3) absorbed labour. The result show that:(1) racik coffee aqroindustry X is feasible, RIC ratio is next two, (2) the profitis Rp. 173.4081 day, (3 ) it can absorb 16 labours

Abstract

Study onrainfed sugarcane land suitability clasification  as a basis for farm management The land studied was grouped into five mapping  units (SPK I, SPK II, SPK III, SPK IV and SPK V), bases on degree of production. The result showed that all actual sub classes of SPK were relatively uniform, including S3 (Marginal suitable) with drainage, available  P, and Total N as limiting factors .. These  should  be  overcame  by organic  matter,  Phosphat  and  Nitrogen  fertilizers  application  and  drainage management

Abstract

The using of chemical materials on plant could be increasing or decreasing on production of plant, studies of it is often written on many scientific magazines with variation results. Colchicine as mutagent could Influence on several growth processes of plant e.g. : elongation cell and duplication cromosome of cell processing. This research is arranged in Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three times replcation, LSD test 5 % is used to compare the difference of every treatments. As the first factor is Concentration of Colchicine With four levels are: KO(0.00 % Colchicine), K1 (0.1 % Colchicine), K2 (02 % Colchicine) and K3 (0.3 % Colchicine), as the second factor is period of soaking of tomato seed with four levels are L1 (24 hours), L2 (48 hours), L3 (72 hours) and L4 (96 hours). Results of this research shown that there were significant Interaction between Concentration Colchicine an period of soaking on normal seedling percentage, time of seedling, height of plant on 30 days after planting, number of leafes on 58 days after planting, flowering age. Abstract

The research was conducted to know time inoculation effect of Peanut Stripe Virus on some soybean varieties. The research has been carried out at UPN "veteran" green house and aranged with Factorial Ramdomize Complate Block Design. The factors were time inoculation (2, 3, 4 weeks after panting and control without inoculation) and soybean varieties (Argomulyo, Bromo and Kawi) with three-replicauons. The result of the research showed that two week after planting inoculation incubation periode was 13 day after inoculation. Bromo varieties was heigiest on damage intensity and yield (34,50 grl plant) so bromo called resistance vaneties.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the interaction of aplicalion paclobutrazol and KN03 of flower growth mango there search was carried out at wonokerto in Probolinggo district. There search was done in Agustus1999, Applying split plot design. Result indicated that no interaction between application paclobutrazol and KN03. Treatment KN03 of four week after aplication Paclobutrazol (K2) influence on appear flower time and number of flower.

Abstract

This study was carried out within 3 months, started from August 22 untul 22 Nopember 1999 on paddy soil at Desa Sidoreja, Kecamatan Pare, Kabupaten Kediri. The soil type used in the study was Regosol. Trial design was factorial randomized block, with 3 replicats. The first factor consisted of organic mailer (8): Azolla (81): Paddy straw (82) and Eceng Gondok (B3) The second factor was dosage of organic matter with 4 level: 0,5,10, and 15 ton ha-1 The result showed that there was no interaction between kind of organic matter dosage and neither for soil pH, CEC, and soil Fe and Mn available. Azolla, Paddy straw, and eceng gondok increasing CEe, soil Fe and Mn on 0 - 20 em. Paddy straw can increase CEC, soil Fe and Mn within 20 - 40 em depth Azalia and paddy straw decreasing soil pH within 0 - 20 em depth but paddy straw decreasing soil pH within 20 - 40 em depth
