Abstract

Exploiting of Industrial disposal steel "Steel Slug" for plant media to hang in doubt because obstetrical height of Fe make poison for crop though height Ca and Mg have an effect on positive at crop growth. Research designed to study type proportion fertilize (NPK, Cotton Seed (CS), Compost (C), and Manure (M», soil, and" Steel Slug from '112 5 until 4/2/5 in degrading Fe of through forming Fe-80 complex( chelat+Fe), change pH, N, Ca, Mg, KTK at Entisol 3-7 WAI (Weeks After Incubation), and also the tomato Crop growth old age 35 DAP (Days After Planting). Result of attempt indicate that proportion of fertilizerlsoil/"Steel slug 1 - 4/2/5 Steel Slug" manifestly degrade soil pH that is 1.30,1.63,0.73,0.6 set of, successively for treatment at 5 WAI, and N-Total Mean mount reality equal to 0.48, 0.65, 0.83 and 0.55 for NPK, CS, C and Manure. Obstetrical of Ca at 3 MSI and 5 MSl, lowered by 25.00 me/ 100 g ( NPK 2/2/5), 221.50 me/100 g ( KP 1/2/5). Abstract

The aim of the research were 1) to find an information of the implementation of the funding program to the tobacco farmers group (where the funds was collected from the tobacco excise tax), 2) to formulate the alternatives of problem-solving during the implementation of the funding program to the tobacco farmers group, and 3) to find the impact of the funding program to the productivity and income of the tobacco farming. Data was collected in Sumenep and Pamekasan regencies, as the centre production of Madurese tobacco, during August - September 2009 using survey method. The results showed, that the funding program to the tobacco farmers group in Sumenep regency in 2009 was aimed for the arid and hilly land. This program was released as equipment assistance, capital assistance and guidance to the tobacco farmers group, while in Pamekasan regency, such program was implemented for organizing tobacco nursery. Problem faced in the implementation of this funding program in Sumenep and Pamekasan regencies was too late in disbursing of the funds. In Sumenep regency, this problem caused the late of the coming of pump water aid, whereas the tobacco plants needed to be watered. In Pamekasan regency, too late in disbursing of the funds resulted the implementation of the program such as preparation of the seed was delayed. Problem solving alternatives of the late in disbursing funds aid in the two regencies were collecting the capital from the group members or by borrowing the capital from the another fundsources. Funding program to the tobacco farmers group in Sumenep and Pamekasan regencies gave positive impact to the increasing of productivity and income of the tobacco farming.Keywords: Funding program, farmers group and Tobacco

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to determine the level of satisfaction and adherence to the rights andobligations of farmers partnered, 2) to know the benefits and constraints of cooperation patterns, and 3) to analyze the revenue and efficiency of Partners and Non-Partners Sugarcane Farmers in various keprasan ways. The results showed that 1) the highest level of satisfaction of the rights of farmers in the pattern of cooperation is the ease of getting guidance, assurance system for profit sharing and satisfaction in getting the input, 2) the constraints faced by Gempolkrep Sugar Mill is an old machine, cutting transport activity has not met decent standard of minced (sweet, clean and fresh), and 3) obtained the highest income of farmers is keprasan first partners, while non-partners are third keprasan. The highest income earned partners are the first keprasan, while non-partners are third keprasan.Keywords: Pattern of partnership, the level of satisfaction and adherence

Abstract

Physical of soil is one of the factors that affect the value of land erosion besides management of vegetation, organic materials and slope. Transformation of land use arrangement is very affecting at degradation of land and the height of erosion. This study aims to examine whether there are changes in the soil physical of the land in relation to the value of erodibility and against land erosion value. This research was conducted in Kabupaten Kediri many kind of land use, forests, alley cropping and monoculture. Erosion value is calculated according to USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) methode. The results of the research obtained that forest have a erosion 12.1 tons / ha / that can be criteria on medium danger erosion, while the monoculture and alley cropping have a height erosion level with a value erosion 17.6 tons / ha / year and 51.45 tons / ha / year.Key words : Soil physical, land use, erosion value

Abstract

Study onrainfed sugarcane land suitability clasification  as a basis for farm management The land studied was grouped into five mapping  units (SPK I, SPK II, SPK III, SPK IV and SPK V), bases on degree of production. The result showed that all actual sub classes of SPK were relatively uniform, including S3 (Marginal suitable) with drainage, available  P, and Total N as limiting factors .. These  should  be  overcame  by organic  matter,  Phosphat  and  Nitrogen  fertilizers  application  and  drainage management

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the test of Sirih Merah on sunlight intensity and planting medium. The experiment was conducted in paranet house at the Faculty of Agriculture UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (± 105 m above sea level), from September to December 2006. The experimental was designed using Split Plot Design with two treatments factors and three replications. The mainplot is various of sunlight intensities: I1= intensity 25%, I2= intensity 50%, I3 = intensity 75%, I4 = intensity 100%. The sub-plot was planting medium ( M): M1 = 1: 1:1 (Chaff charcoal : Sand : Compost), M2 = 1: 1: 1 ( Sphagnum moss : Sand : Compost), and M3 (Bamboo Mulch : Sand : Compost).The results showed that there was an interaction between type of medium and sunlight intensity that resulted in significantly longer of leaf bud, number of leaves, and wide of leaf. Treatment with light intensity I1 ( 25%) resulted in the longest leaf, the best quality of leaf (leaf colour, chlorophyll and of tannin content), the highest fresh plant weight, and the biggest root volume better than other higher light intensities. The growth and the quality of Sirih Merah was not affected by planting medium, however chaff charcoal might be a better option to use, because it is cheaper and easier to obtain.Keywords : Sirih Merah (Piper crocatum Ruiz and Pav.), light intensity, planting medium

Abstract

The study aimed to know the time of Azol1a application and the dose of P fertilizer which gave the best rice yield. The experiment was done from November 2005 to March 2006, in the field and green house of Agricultural Faculty UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Condong Catur, Yogyakarta. The pot experiment was arranged in Randomized Completely Design with two factor and three replication. The first factor was the timing ofAzofla application: no Azolla, 3,4,5 and 6 weeks after planting. The second factor was the dose of P fertilizer: 100 and 150 kg SP-36. The datas were analysed by analysis varian and Duncan Test 5%. The result showed that there was no interaction between the time of Azolla application and the dose of P fertilizer.The time of Azolla application 4 week after planting gave the best productive suckers , it was also for the dose P fertilizer 150kg/ha. Abstract

High percentage of fall ing of flower and fruit of chilli plant in rainy season represents problems which often occurs so that productivity of chilli very low in the rainy season and often caused failure on fruit set. The aim of this research is knowing the influence of plant regulator in increasing the productivity of chilli plant which is cultivated at off season (rainy season). This research was designed using Random Block Design which consist of 2 factors. The first factor is Ethrel with 4 levels giving; 0 ppm / I, 250 ppm / I, 500 ppm / I and 1000 ppm / I and the second factor is Dekamon with also 4 levels giving; 0 cc / I, 0.5 cc / I, I cc / I and 2 cc / 1. Results of research indicate that the plant growth regulator application Dekarnon and Ethrel effecting on all variables observed both generati ve and vegetative variables, in general, at all levels of concentration of the plant growth regulator which is applied result the linier positive influence. Research also shows there is no influence significantly of the interaction between the two plant growth regulator. Key words: Zat pengatur tumbuh, musim hujan, cabai kecil

Abstract

The using of chemical materials on plant could be increasing or decreasing on production of plant, studies of it is often written on many scientific magazines with variation results. Colchicine as mutagent could Influence on several growth processes of plant e.g. : elongation cell and duplication cromosome of cell processing. This research is arranged in Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three times replcation, LSD test 5 % is used to compare the difference of every treatments. As the first factor is Concentration of Colchicine With four levels are: KO(0.00 % Colchicine), K1 (0.1 % Colchicine), K2 (02 % Colchicine) and K3 (0.3 % Colchicine), as the second factor is period of soaking of tomato seed with four levels are L1 (24 hours), L2 (48 hours), L3 (72 hours) and L4 (96 hours). Results of this research shown that there were significant Interaction between Concentration Colchicine an period of soaking on normal seedling percentage, time of seedling, height of plant on 30 days after planting, number of leafes on 58 days after planting, flowering age.
