Abstract

This Penelitain focusedly study the leadership influence and motivate the headmaster job to interest professional learn the IPA SMP. This Pelaksanaa Research [in] [doing/conducting][at] teacher SMP [in] 3 canton (Saifi, Seremuk And Teminabuan) amounting to 16 people learn the IPA. This Research have the character of descriptive and verikatif. To test the double regresi result of this research[is]menunjukan that there are contribution which signifikan [of] [among/between] leadership and motivate the job of headmaster of interest professional learn the IPA 76,5% and test the simple regresi result of research menunjukan that, leadership have an effect on the terhadapa of interest professional learn the high IPA SMP equal to 70,4%. [For a] while for the variable of motivate the headmaster job to interest professional learn the IPA obtained [by]result74,4%. Abstract

This research aims is to know difference between real students learning of metabolism by using STAD type learning and TGT type learning model based on interest and character of students learning. To achieve this aim it will be implied STAD type learning model and TGT type learning model based on interest and character of student learning to student of SMA Negeri 1 Sentani, grade XI IPA (Science) consists of one hundred students are as objects of research. They are result metabolisme learning compared by using both STAD type and TGT type based on interest and character o students learning. This data result is metabolisme learning to be collected by using achievement test. While is about interest and being active of students learning gotten from interest questionnaire of using both STAD type and TGT type and students learning observation the the research data collection is analyzed by using Independent sample test and Technique Correlation Product Moment Person. This research shows: 1). Implementation of TGT type Learning model more objective to show the result of learning process than by using STAD type learning model. It is implied in both active class and inactive class. Based on the result of the analysis of value average TGT learning in the first test on active class X ̅ TGT = 76,04 > X ̅ STAD = 59,19. So did second test X ̅ TGT = 79,87 > X ̅ STAD = 66,50. As well as for the inactive class value average on the first test X ̅ TGT = 71,19 > X ̅ STAD = 54,25 and also the second test X ̅ TGT = 72,33 > X ̅ STAD = 63,93. 2). There is no correlation between learning interest with leaning result of student in both active class and inactive class. 3). There is no correlation between students learning being active with learning result in both active class and inactive class. Key words: STAD, TGT, Learning Result, Biology, Characteristic

Abstract

This research aim to look at: (1) the differences of study motivation between students in class that process learning use type Jigsaw and student in class that use type STAD, (2) the differences study result of hydrocarbon between students in class that process learning use type Jigsaw and student in class that use type STAD, (3) increase of study resulton class control and class experiment. The population in the research were students on class X SMA Kristeb Wamena, total 108 students, and sample were (1) students on class XC as expreriment class that process learning used type Jigsaw, (2) students on class XB as control that used type STAD. Design of research was Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design. The technique of data analysis used the different test (t-test) with software SPSS 16. The result showed that: (1) there was difference of study motivation between syudents on class that process learning used type Jigsaw and on class XB as control that used type STAD with significance score t 0,01 < 0,05, (2) there was difference result stuidy between students on class that process learning used type Jigsaw and on class XB as cobtrol that used type STAD with significance score t 0,000 < 0,05 (3) there was increase of chemistry result study on class experiment and class control. Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) distinction of student learning result who followed problem based learning model with direct instructional, (2) the differences of students result learning in interest money who has higher motivation, medium, and poor in learning, (3) there is interaction of learning model with motivation level across from student learning result. This experimental study using two groups, as experimental group using problem based learning model and control group using direct instructional model. The study sample was 54 students. The instrument consisted of test and the questionnaire of motivation. To collect data from student learning result after they have test and result from the questionnaire of motivation. All data were analysed and tested by statistic parametric univariate test (ANAVA) using SPSS version 16.0. From three proposed hypothesis the result showed that: (1) there is significantly different between problem based learning model with direct instructional model, value sig 0,014 < α 0,05, (2) there is significantly interaction between student learning result in interest money with the level of student motivation in learning, value sig 0,013 < α 0,05, (3) there is no interaction between the model of learning with the students level of motivation, value sig 0,601 > α 0,05. Abstract

ABSTRACT The objectives of this research are: 1. To product buffer learning approach with problem solving approach for increasing critical thinking ability and students’ achievement. 2. To know effectivity of problem solving approach that increase students’ understanding, students’ achievement, critical skill, ability for appiying concept in daily life and problem solving. The method of this research is experiment quasi “ one group pretest-postest design “that invoire 60 (sixty) of eleventh grade natural science student. The data got by beginning (pretest) test and end test (posttest) to know inereasing concept mastery, learning achievement, critical thinking ability and problem solving ability of students, that processed using statistic method, SPSS 16. There was significance between concept mastery and critical thinking ability in experiment class and control class observed from t counted 0,000 < t table 0,05 that means problem solving approach treatment infivence students’ critical thinking ability, whereas learning achievement in control class and experiment are not significance, t counted 0,581 > t table 0,05, means problem solving approach treatment are not irfivential on learning achievement. Key word : learning achievement, critical thinking ability, concept mastery and problem solving.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengtahui : (1) Perbedaan minat belajar pada kelas yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw (2) Perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 SMA Negeri 1 Sentani dengan jumlah 62 orang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 2 kelas Kontrol. Pengempulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes, angket dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 16. Hasil uji normalitas hitungnya > 0,05 data normal. Hasil homogenitas menunjukkan sig hitung < 0,05, signifikan maka kedua kelompok memiliki varians yang sama atau homogeny. Hasil uji hipotesis (uji t) sig hit < 0,005, terima Ha dan tolak Ho. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) ada perbedaan minat belajar pada kelas yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar pada kelas yang diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Abstract

A research has been done to determine the relationship between the leadership of Pricipal and Teacher Professionalism Attitudes to Science achievement of IX Grader of Junior Adventist Academy. The method used in this study is the correlation method with a target of the population of the of Junior High School Adventist Timika. The population is a bout 150 students and the number of research samples is 32 students. The result shows that there is a significant relationship between the leadership of principal with the science learning achievement of Junior High School the IX graders and the effective contribution 76,7%, there is significant relationship between the teachers professionalism with the science learning achievement of Junior High School the IX graders and the effective contribution 76,7%, there is a significant relationship between the leadership of principal and the techers professionalism with the science learning achievement of Junior High School the IX graders and the effective contribution 76,7%. The results of this study are expected to be useful in improving the quality of school leadership and teacher professionalism, as principal leadership and teacher professionalism can significantly increase student achievement. Abstract

The aim of study would be: (1) to identify the problem-based learning model through experiment methods toward Physics Learning Results on the subject of gravity an motion (2) to understand the relation of problem-based learning mode through experiment methods towards the results of learning physics on the subject of gravity and motion of geology study programmes scholars of University Ottow Geissler Papua. Variable definition studied is made through the relation in problem-based mode by experiment method, scholars would find scientific knowledge more useful to science particularly on the concept of grafity an motionin the newton rules. The sampling was using the technique of non-probability sampling that is number of sample is 15 scholars which is the setiated sampling if population members were used. Analyzing method used is the quantitative. The study resulted in the rate of r count > r table ( 0,6721 > 0,514 ) correlative coefficient determinant ( r2) of 45 % learning motivation variable and the remaining 55 % by other factor(s). it should be concluded that rb = 0,8 and r table = 0,553 then the decision of rb > r table would mean reliable which means the category has a strong significant and relation between the problem-based learning mode through experiment method towards learning motivation. Abstract

This study aimed to : 1) to assess the impact of the conversion agricultural land to the environmental condition of agricultural land as well as socio-economic conditions of farmers; 2) to analyze what strategies adaptation of the farmers in facing the conversion of agricultural land; 3) to analyze the effect of conversion land to the farmer adaptation strategies. This study has a survey method by taking a proportional sampling of each farmer status individually. The total samples of 96 respondents are 46 respondent peasant land owners, tenant farmers 31 respondents, and 19 respondents laborer. The data use consists of primary data, in a questionnaires and in-depth interviews, then secondary data from relevant agencies. Methods of data analysis use a quantitative descriptive analysis, the chi squared test and contingency coefficient. The results show conversion of agricultural land in the district of Mejayan has a negative effect to the wetland environment, such as the less land farming, irrigation canals damage, and declining soil fertility due to household waste. There are different adaptation strategy of each farm household; 56.5% land owner applying accumulation strategies, 87.1% of tenant farmers implementing consolidation strategies and 84.2% of farm workers applying survival strategies. The condition of socio-economic with contingency coefficient value 0.557 and the ownership assets with a contingency coefficient value 0,462 influence really to the farmer adaptation strategies, in both factors status socio economic condition give a stronger influence to the form of farmer adaptation strategies. Abstract

This research was made to know the relation and the influence of constructive approach to the learning result of students in grade 8th SMP N 11 Jayapura for the vibration and wave lesson of 2012/2013 academic year. This research is quantitative research. The population of this research are all of grade 8th students of SMP N 11 Jayapura. The technique of data collection that used is purposive sampling, with 32 students as the sample to know the relationship between the constructive approach with the learning result, correlation analysis has been used to prove it with the result tcount > ttable, equal 4.044 > 2.042, it means there’s any relationship between constructive approach to the learning result, while to know the influence between constructive approach to the learning result, regressive analysis has been applied with the result Fcount > Ftable , equal 16.358 > 4.17, it means there’s an influence between the constructive approach to the learning result of the students. Key word: constructive approach, the learning result.
