Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan di SMA N 2 Koto XI Tarusan hasil  belajar siswa data ujian akhir semester I siswa kelas X SMA N 2 Koto Tarusan Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013 pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi masih dibawah rata-rata dan penelitian ini juga berawal dari kenyataan di Sekolah bahwa kurang mampunya guru dalam mengaktifkan siswa yang mana guru selalu memakai metode ceramah sehingga siswa menunggu dari guru dan tidak merasa tertantang untuk menguasai materi pelajaran dengan usaha sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar ekonomi antara model prediction guide  dengan model konvensional. Populasi penelitian adalah semua siswa kelas X SMA N 2 Koto XI Tarusan yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dan teknik dalam penentuan sampel adalah Purposive Sampling sehingga yang menjadi sampel adalah kelas  X3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar berupa soal objektif sebanyak 20 butir soal. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji perbedaan dua rata-rata (uji t). Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa penerapan pengggunaan model pembelajaran Prediction Guide pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar yang hanya menggunakan model Konvensional. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata belajar siswa kelas eksperimen 78,25 sedangkan kelas kontrol 69,5. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik yang dilakukan didapat thitung memiliki nilai yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan dengan ttabel yaitu thitung = 2,63 > ttabel = 2,000 pada taraf nyata 0,05 maka hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak sedangkan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, maka adanya perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Prediction Guide dengan model konvensional pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi kelas X SMA N 2 Koto XI Tarusan. Hal ini disebabkan karena pada kelas eksperimen siswa dibimbing untuk dapat mengembangkan kemampuan dan potensinya. Kegiatan ini mengakibatkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh sebelumnya akan bertahan lama. Pada kelas kontrol siswa lebih banyak sebagai penerima informasi dan guru telah mengemas pesan yang akan disampaikan.

Economic Studies Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. Padang. 2013. Local Government to allocate funds in the budget Expenditure in the budget to increase the fixed assets. Expenditure allocation is based on local needs for facilities and infrastructure, both for the convenience of the government and pablik facilities. This study aims to analyze : (1) Effect of Economic Growth on Local Spending, (2) Effect of local revenue (PAD) of the Shopping Area, (3) Effect of the General Allocation Fund (DAU) to Regional Shopping, (4) Economic Growth, Revenue, General Allocation Fund simultaneously on Government Expenditure In West Pasaman . Types of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. Object of research conducted in the West Pasaman. The data used are time series data year budget period 2005-2012 obtained from BPKAD and BPS. The variables tested were the Economic Growth GDP seen from the data (X1), Revenue (X2), the General Allocation Fund ( X3 ) as the independent variable and Expenditure ( Y ) as the dependent variable. The data will be analyzed through the classical assumption. While used to test the hypothesis significance testing and multiple linear regression analysis. This study found that : (1) Economic Growth significant effect on regional expenditure, (2) Revenue Expenditure bepengaruh significant, (3) General Allocation Funds significant effect on regional expenditure, and simultaneous hypothesis testing (4) Economic Growth, Revenue and General Allocation Funds significant effect on regional expenditure .

Abstract

ABSTRACT            This research is aimed at analyzing the difference of learning points by using the cooperative learning models between Think Pair Share (TPS) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) types of the XI-grade students of IPS SMAN 11 Padang.            It is an experimental research. The population of this research is all XI-grade students of IPS SMAN 11 Padang, who were registered in the year 2013-2014. Two samples were selected by using the technique of Puposive Sampling method. The data of this research is primary data, and the data analyses are descriptive and inductive, conducted through t-test by first making tests of normality and homogeneity of both sample variants.            Based on the data analyses, it is obtained that the learning points for the experimental class 1 is 76.80 and the experimental class 2 is 65.64 on the average, meaning that Sig 0.018 is smaller than α = 0.05. From the hypothesis tests, tcalc.is 2.444 and ttable is 1.67, so that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is the difference between Think Pair Share (TPS) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD).From the results of research it is hoped that this could provide a solution for the problem of lowering learning points especially in economics subject. Finally, for improving the learning points of economical students, it is suggested for teachers to consider the learning models from Think Pair Share (TPS) and Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Keywords: Think Pair Share (TPS), Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), Economical Learning Points

Abstract

ABSTRACT The issues raised in this study is "Consumer Purchasing Decisions On Products Toothpaste Pepsodent". The variables of this study is Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association and Brand Loyalty (as independent variables) and the Purchase Decision (the dependent variable).This research attention level Purchasing Decisions also need to be considered and Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association and Brand Loyalty on Pepsodent toothpaste products. Purchasing Decisions With increasing efforts in the achievement of corporate objectives, particularly the Unilever company which produces Pepsodent toothpaste.This study aims to reveal (1) Effect of Brand Awareness of the Consumer Purchase Decision, (2) Effect of Perceived Quality of the Consumer Purchase Decision, (3) Effect of  Brand Association of the Consumer Purchase Decision, (4) Effect of Brand Loyalty of the Consumer Purchase Decision, (5) Effect of Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association and Brand Loyalty together of the Consumer Purchase Decision.The conclusion that in partial Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association does not significantly influence the purchase decision, while the brand loyalty variable partially significant effect on the purchase decision. Variables simultaneously Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association and Brand Loyalty significantly influence the purchase decision. From the results of this study suggested that brand loyalty has the most dominant influence on the purchase decision, expected the company to defend it. For variable Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality and the Association are not expected to influence the purchase decision a company can increase it in order notto be outdone by other competitors. Keywords: Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association, Brand Loyalty

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal the effect : students perceptions of teachers teaching styles on learning outcomes at the program Accounting Accounting skills class x students at SMK 1 Sawahlunto academic year 2012/2013 , the influence of students interest towards learning outcomes at the program Accounting Accounting skills in grade x SMK 1 Sawahlunto academic year 2012/2013 , the influence of students perceptions of teachers teaching styles and student interest in the learning outcomes of the program Accounting Accounting skills class x students at SMK 1 Sawahlunto academic year 2012/2013 .Type of research conducted in this research is descriptive quantitative approach Associative . The population is the total number of students in vocational classes x 1 Sawahlunto totaling 63 people . Sampling technique using proportional stratified random sampling technique which totaled 39 people.Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale that has been tested validity and reliability . The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis . To test the hypothesis used t test and f . Based on the results of t-test of hypothesis testing students perceptions of teachers teaching styles meaningful and positive impact on learning outcomes of Accounting , t test students interest in learning meaningful and positive impact on learning outcomes of Accounting . While the means test and a positive influence f between students perceptions of teachers teaching styles and student interest towards learning outcomes of Accounting . The amount of influence on students perceptions of teachers teaching styles and student interest in the learning outcomes of Accounting is 38.90 % and the remaining 61.10 % is influenced by other variables not included in the model in this study. Abstract

The background of this research by studying the results of the low economic class X SMA N 1 Sungai Aur Academic Year 2013/2014 . This is caused by the lack of activity of students in the learning process . This study aimed to determine differences in the economic outcomes of students with learning cooperative learning model Make A Match with conventional learning in class X SMAN 1Sungai Aur . This type of research is experimental research . The study population was a student of class X SMA N 1 Sungai Aur academic year 2013/2014. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, was chosen as the experimental class  class  X2  and  X3  as  grade  control  class.  The  instrument  used  is  the      achievement test . Techniques of data analysis was to test the hypothesis t test . Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average value of the experimental class average of 76.5 and 67.8 classroom control . Results of data analysis known tcount 3,081 greater than the mean price of 1,960 ttable hypothesis is accepted at significance level α = 0.05 . Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of research was to know the differentiation of students’ studying result between the concept map method and the lecturing method to the X grade students of SMA Negeri 16 Padang.The type of this research was an experimental research. The population of the research was all of X grade students in SMA Negeri 16 Padang which was calculated 292 students, the sample of this research was only 73 students which was taken by using analysis technique was the Z test, before the test was given, the test was firstly tested and then the result of the was analyzed by using reability analysis, the level of difficulty and the differentiate capacity of the test. After that, to test the differentiation of students’ result, the writer used Z test with a = 0,05.The data analysis from the average result of the students’ posstest in experimental class was 81,28 with the deviation standard of 6,95 while the average posstest result for control class was 76,46 with deviation standard 5,46. from the result of hipothesis test the Z calculated = 3,29 and Z tabel = 1,96 means that Z calculated > Z tabel so that the alternative hypotesis could be accepted. It means that there were significant differentiation between students’ economic results in both experimental and control class, where the experimental class got a higher result than the control class. In this case, the differentiation was believed as the effect of the action which is given to the experimental class which was the learning process by using concept map method. To increase the students’ result in studying economics especially for X grade students of SMA Negeri 16 Padang, it is suggested to the economics teachers to consider the use of concept map method beside the lecturing method.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek dan persepsi kualitas terhadap keputusan pembelian PC tablet Samsung galaxi di kota padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kausatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek dan persepsi kualitas terhadap keputusan pembelian PC tablet Samsung galaxi di kota padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang pernah menggunakan PC Tablet Samsung Galaxi di Kota Padang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode accidental sampling, yaitu memilih sampel berdasarkan elemen populasi (orang atau kejadian) yang datanya mudah diperoleh peneliti. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : Secara parsial kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek dan persepsi kaulitas  berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian PC Tablet Samsung Galaxi di Kota Padang. Selanjutnya kontribusi sumbangan variabel Kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, persepsi kualitas terhadap keputusan pembelian PC Tablet Samsung Galaxi di Kota Padang adalah sebesar 77,5%. Sedangkan 22,5 dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Jadi, selain kesadaran merek, asosiasi merek, dan persepsi kualitas terdapat juga pengaruh faktor lain yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian.Kata Kunci :   Kesadaran Merek, Asosiasi Merek, Persepsi Kualitas, Keputusan Pembelian

Abstract

ABSTRAK Berdasarkan data penjualan PT.Telkomsel kota Padang tahun 2008-2012 dapat dilihat bahwa perkembangan penjualan produk PT. Telkomsel selalu mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun, hal ini tentu saja didukung oleh strategi-strategi positioning yang dilakukan PT.Telkomsel. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kalangan masyarakat Kota Padang yang menggunakan sim card simPATI. Waktu penelitian, penulis laksanakan pada bulan Juni-Agustus 2013. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada masyarakat di kota Padang yang berjumlah 833.562 jiwa (menurut data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Propinsi Kota Padang Tahun 2012 dan untuk menentukan ukuran sampel dari populasi tersebut dapat menggunakan rumus  Slovin dan didapat sampel sebanyak 100 orang sedangkan teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan sampel Non Probability dengan metode Convinience Sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket atau kuesioner sebanyak 20 butir pertanyaan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS V 16.0. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa ada pengaruh secara dominan strategi positioning produk atas harga terhadap citra merek, Ada pengaruh secara dominan strategi positioning produk atas ciri produk terhadap citra merek, Ada pengaruh secara dominan strategi positioning produk atas penggunaan produk terhadap citra merek, Ada pengaruh secara dominan strategi positioning produk atas pesaing produk terhadap citra merek, Ada pengaruh secara simultan dimensi strategi positioning produk yang terdiri dari, Harga, Ciri Produk, Pengguna Produk, Pesaing Produk, berpengaruh terhadap  citra merek. Ternyata merek bukanlah hanya sebuah nama pada produk yang berfungsi sebagai alat dan tanda pengenal, serta pencitraan terhadap merek sebagai jenis assosiasi yang muncul dibenak konsumen ketika mengingat sebuah merek tertentu. Karena setelah dilakukan penelitian pada PT Telkomsel diketahui bahwa ada pengaruh secara simultan dimensi strategi positioning produk yang terdiri dari, Harga, Ciri Produk, Pengguna Produk, Pesaing Produk, berpengaruh terhadap  citra merek. Kata Kunci : Positioning Produk, Citra Merek, SIMcard, dan PT.Telkomsel

Main supervisor : Rizky Natassia, SE , MM and Second Supervisor : Dina Amaluis , SE , MM.This study aims to reveal the influence of leadership style on employee motivation Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang , the influence of leadership styles on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang , the influence of work motivation on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , the influence of leadership style and employee motivation Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang.Type of research is descriptive research Associative. The population in this study was the overall employees of the Central Statistics Agency BPS ) Padang totaling 30 employees . Sampling technique using Total Sampling amounts 30 employees. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale measuring devices that have been tested errors and reliability in the Central Bureau of Statistics ( BPS ) of West Sumatra Province . The data analysis technique used is the Path Analysis (Path Analysis).The results of this study are : there is a positive and significant effect between leadership styles on employee motivation Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , there is a positive and significant effect between leadership styles on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , there positive and significant influence between work motivation on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang , there is a positive and significant effect between leadership style and work motivation on employee performance Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) of Padang . Total direct and indirect effects of leadership style variable and employee motivation is at 36 % while the remaining 64 % is influenced by other variables.From the analysis of the data in this study , the authors suggested that the leadership of the Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang further enhance and apply leadership style in order to better motivate employees who are owned by the Central Statistics Agency ( BPS ) Padang be increased as well . The author suggests that the leadership of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Padang further enhance and apply leadership style as well as provide motivation to employees so that employee performance can be increased also for the progress of the organization.
