Abstract

It can be argued that current financial aspect is not a guarantee for a company which has good management for non-financial aspects. Therefore, such a condition requires a concept of balanced scorecard in a company, in this case, it is is a Laboratorium Mawar which is privately owned. Laboratorium Mawar tried to provide different styles of leadership to employees as a balancer of the financial aspect. Apparently, this affects job satisfaction nd employee commitment seriously so that there are four aspects of the balanced scorecard that can be balanced. Job satisfaction, for example, is a positive attitude toward work in individuals who are affected by two factors: maintenance factors and motivations factors. On the contrary, organizational commitment is the belief that strong values and organizational goals, willingness affect an extra effort in order to remain becoming a member or part of the organization. The four aspects that must be embodied in this concept include the financial, customer, internal business process and learning and growth so as to make the owner have a leadership style that makes employees comfortable in the work.

Abstract

The research tried to examine the factors that are formed in the customers of syariah banking Unit in Surabaya, to examine the customers segmentation in Surobaya based on the lifestyle,to identify the profile from each customers segment in Surabaya banking unit based on lifestyle, to examine the difference of characteristic among segments which are formed based on lifestyle factor of syariah banking unit customers in Surabaya and to test the difference of characteristic among segments which are formed based on demographic variable on the customers of syariah bonking unit in Surabaya. The researcher distributed 300 and 200 questionnaires were gathered and analyzed. Factor analysis, cluster analysis, cross tab, and chi-square analysis were employed for analyses. It showed that there were nine factors such as brand tryer factor, affecting factor, sensitivity of price factor, sport interest factor, internet user factor, optimism factor, compulsive housekeeper factor, electronic banking user factor and credit assumption factor. The segment formed yields four clusters such as technology user segment, credit user segment, electronic banking user segment, brand user segment. As for the result of chi-square test shows that there are differences in characteristic among segment which are formed based on customers lifestyle factor in syariah banking unit in Surabaya. There was a difference of characteristic among gender, age, education, occupation and duration of being customers.

Abstract

Customer loyalty is one of the factors that influence the level of sales company. It has been the fact that every company tend to compete in order that they can perform a variety of strategies to establish a customer loyalty. In the banking sectors, the banks are also doing a lot of strategies to increase customer loyalty. In this research, there are two factors that can affect customer loyalty, brand trust and quality of services. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of brand trust and quality services to customer loyalty. This research was conducted in Surabaya where the customers of Bank CIMB Niaga were used as the place for the research. The datawere collected from the respondents in this bank. It attained 110 respondents and these customers. The data were analyzed by using multiple regressions with SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results showed that brand trust and service quality significantly influence the customer loyalty Bank CIMB Niaga in Surabaya Some suggestions were also asserted in connection with these results both for the researchers and the instrument.

Abstract

Research in the field of behavioral finqnce has not been predominantly done so far. It appears obvious especially, when it is compared with the study of behavior in the financial sector. This is due to the research revealing how the behavior of investors is against the risk of investment and the type of investment that is selected in the money market sector or capital market. This study aims to examine the relationship between demographic factors with the factors of comfortability and security of capital market investors. Research object of this research were the investors who invested their funds in capital markets in Surabaya. Method of data collection is by using questionnaires. With judgment sampling technique (purposive) sampling and snowball sampling, the data were taken up to 84 questionnaires from the respondents in the field and then the validity and reliability of research instruments were done as well as correlation analysis Chi Square Test to answer the problem. Of the 10 the demographic factors gender, ethnicity, oge, marital status, education, occupation, family size, spending per month, investment experience, and frequency of transactions, only the type of work thot hos significant relationship with the factors of psychology, namely comfortability and security.

Abstract

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is one of the successful companies in Indonesia. It can be proved by the data in top brand index from marketing magazine that put KFC in the first position. KFC succeeded in becoming the first position due to its ability to make customers more loyal forever. Some of the factors that make KFC selected by the subscribers, among others, is that KFC managed to be complied with the customers expectation. This is the factor to make its customers satisfied. It has been noted in the research that customer loyalty is the product ultimate purpose or service provider. The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of the customer expectation, customer satisfaction towards the customer complaints, and customer loyalty. The design of this study is by means of convenience sampling. The data were collected using questionnaire. The method analysis used in this research is Maximum Likely hood test using the program AMOS version 18.0. The results showed that the two hypotheses were accepted. Firstly, the customer expectation has a significant impact on the customer satisfaction and the second is that the customer satisfaction has a significant influence on customer loyalty.

Abstract

It is a fact that banking services industry is certainly difficult to determine because of the quality of the product which is naturally intangible. In general, customers need the creation is sustainable. Yet, it is not an easy task for us because changes can occur at any time, whether the change in customers tastes or psychological aspects also followed by the changes in environmental conditions that affect aspects of their psychological, social and cultural backgrounds. This study was conducted at Bank BCA Surabaya whose objectives as the following: such as to analyze (1) the effect of affective commitment to customer satisfaction. (2) the influence of trust on affective commitment toward customers. (3) the effect of affictive commitment toward customer migration intentions, It employed 100 respondents, gathered based on nonprobability sampling or convenience sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using t-test. The results showed such as (1) satisfaction variables significantly influence the affective commitment variable, while the trust variable does not significantly influence affective commitment variable. (2) variable effective commitment significantly influences the intention variable, displacement variable customer satisfaction, and trust, while no significant effect on the intention variable displacement of cus tomers.

Abstract

This study attempts to describe the effect of Performance Appraisal Process Factors on Job Satisfaction with Performonce Appraisal Feedback Satisfaction as intervening variable. The data which were taken in this study were the employees of Higher Education in Cepu, Central of Java. The survey was employed on the responses from 81 employees of teachings staff and administration staff, The results show that the performance ratings, satisfaction with performance appraisal, satisfaction with performance appraisal system and satisfaction with performance appraisal feedback all have significant coruelation toward job satisfaction. In addition, Performance Rating, and Satisfaction with Performance Appraisal System have positive correlation toward job satisfaction, but satisfaction with rater and performance appraisal system has no significant correlation toward job satisfaction. Thus, it can be concluded that satisfaction with performance appraisal feedback was used only by intervening variable in the relations of satisfaction with rater to job satisfaction variable and satisfaction with performonce appraisal system to job satisfaction.

Abstract

It is a fact that the policy related to dividends in any company. is deemed very crucial. For that reason, research on this matter is considered important. This study attempts to find out the influence of dividend policy, debt policy, and investment policy toward the firm value in manufacture industries which were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were collected from the companies which were listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2004 to 2008. Such data were collected through purposive sampling, with statistic method of F- analysis and t-analysis. The result of empirical examination with the analysis provided the fact as the following. (1) Dividend Policy, Debt Policy and Investment Policy had influence on the firm value. (2) Dividend Poticy factor had positive effect on firm value factor. (3) Debt policy factor had a negative effect on to Firm Value factor. (4) Investment policy factor had a negative influence toward firm value factor.

Abstract

Indonesian Bankings profit growth during the year 2004-2009 had been constantly fluctuating with a down tendency each year, but the amount of deposits and total assets always went up. This anomaly can be influenced by the factors, some of which were used as variables in this study. This study uses secondary data from banks financial reports such as BI rate and Blanket Guarantee Rate, during the first quarter of 2006 to the fourth quarter 2009. The purposive sampling was employed by ranking the criteria based on the largest number of diposits and total assets with a share of at least 5% of all commercial banks in Indonesia. The analysis was done by performing mathematical calculations and statistics from various financial ratios that reflect the growth rate of deposits products and their distribution within the reference rate. It was found that only two variables can significantly affect the banks NIM ratio, deposits and moderation of saving. Another results showed that moderation of savings become the most dominant variable.

Abstract

PT. Pancaran Semangat Jaya, a manufacturing company, produces magazines named Panjebar Semangat (Java magazine, there are product defects at a maximum of 36, 177 in 2003 and lowest 31, 229 in 2005). Product defects are often caused by raw material quality that is not good. To avoid any mistakes, the company had to choose a good raw material prior to rocessing. The purpose of this research was to test and prove empirically the influence of raw material quality towards the quantity of product defect to production cos inefficiency. In this study, the analysis was done by collecting the data exploits quantity of raw material quality, the quantity of product defects and production costs. Simple regression analysis and multiple linear regressions were used to determine the effect of raw material quality and quantity of product defect to production cost inefficiency. The result showed that when the variable raw material quality was removed, the variable quantity of product defect would not influence the production cost inefficiencies. When the variable quantity of product defect was removed, the raw material quality would not either influence the production cost inefficiencies. Also the test results showed that the raw material quality and the quantity of product defect had no influence towards production cost inefficiencies.
