Abstract

The purpose of research is to find out whether NPL, CKPN Credit, IRR, PDN, LDR, IPR,BOPO, FBIR, and GCG have a significant influence either simultaneously or partially towardsBanks Determining Health Score. It used a population at the National Private CommercialBank Foreign Exchange. The sample was selected based on sampling techniquesusing purposive sampling technique and used documentation data. Based on the calculationsand the results obtained testing the hypothesis that simultaneous variables NPL, CKPNCredit, IRR, PDN, LDR, IPR, BOPO, FBIR, and GCG have a significant influence on DeterminingHealth Score. It means that credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational riskand GCG have significant influence to determining health score. While partially NPL, CKPNCredit, IRR, PDN, have no significant effect, IPR has no positive significant effect, LDR hasa positive effect significant, and BOPO has a negative significant effect. Among the sevenvariables, the most dominant is LDR, compared with the highest coefficient of determinationof the other independent variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of brand credibility on the purchase intentionmediated by consumers perceived quality of batik Jetis in Sidoarjo. This research wasconducted in Sidoarjo communities who have seen batik Jetis Sidoarjo. The data used wereprimary data obtained directly from respondents by using questionnaire. The respondentswere batik Jetiss consumers. Samples used were selected through judgment sampling techniques.One hundred forty five questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. One hundredand ten data was analyzed using SEM and processed using software AMOS 21. The resultsshowed that brand credibility has a significant influence on customers perceived quality.While customers perceived quality has no significant effect on the purchase intention.Likewise, brand credibility has no significant influence on customers purchase intention.Based on these results we can conclude that customers perceived quality does not mediatethe relationship between the credibility of the brand with the customers purchase intention.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to provide empirical evidence on variables that affect thesoundness score of bank. The variables used to assess business risk are financial ratios,namely LDR, IPR, NPL, IRR, BOPO and FBIR. The research population is the Go-PublicBanks in Indonesia. It uses secondary data obtained from annual financial-reports from 2008to 2012 and InfoBank Magazine from 2009 to 2013. The data were collected by using documentationmethod and then they were processed by using statistical tests as a tool of analysis.The hypothesis testing was done by using the F test to see the effect simultaneously, and usingt test to see the effect partially of LDR, IPR, NPL, IRR, BOPO, and FBIR. Yet, the partialtest (t test) was found that NPL has an effect on soundness score of the bank. When seen fromthe partial coefficient of determination, NPL has the most dominant contribution to thesoundness score of the banks with a value of 14.51 percent.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance and performance of educational services. Thequality of service consists of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy.The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to students of the Faculty of Economics,University of Muhammadiyah Jember with sample 60 respondents selected by purposivesampling. Customer satisfaction index is used to analyze the level of overall student satisfaction.For identifying performance improvement priorities, the Analysis method used consistsof two components: quadrant analysis and gap analysis. The results showed that the overallperformance of students was satisfied with education services to the student satisfaction indexscore was 86.60 percent. Quadrant analysis shows that the dimensions of assurance, reliability,responsiveness, and empathy are considered an important dimension and good performancein accordance with the expectations of the students so that this dimension needs tobe maintained and enhanced performance. The dimension that is considered less good is thatof tangibles.

Abstract

Training activity is the main important activity for improving human resources competences inany organization, including in banking industry. Training enables company in reducing gap ofthe companys requirements and human resources qualification. In order achieving trainingeffectiveness, training should be design fit in with organization need analysis, and mentionmany factors related with training activity such as the contents of Training Materials, TrainingFacilities, Trainers and Training methods. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectsimultaneously and partially of training success determinants factors on performance of SalesRepresentative Merchant (SMR) in bank X. Research conducted by survey design and usingquestionnaires research which involved 81 Sales Representative who participate in Sales Merchanttraining. Multiple regression analysis used as tool for analyzing data. The results foundthat all determinants training success factors have significantly effects simultaneously and partiallyon sales representative performance. The content of material has dominant effects onsales performance. The implication of this research is bank should consider the relevancy ofTraining Materials, Training Facilities, Trainers, and Methods for designing training program.

Abstract

This study aims to find the relationship that exists between gender and personality as well asthe supervisor leadership styles in PT Multi Citra Abadi Manado. The study is a quantitativeresearch and uses questionnaire as data collection instrument. The population consists of 700employees who work at PT Multi Citra Abadi Manado and the sample was 56 supervisors ofPT Multi Citra Abadi Manado. The study used descriptive and statistical analysis. Descriptiveanalysis was done by using cross tabulation while the statistical analysis by using correlationanalysis. Hypothesis test was done by using chi-square test and regression analysis. The resultshows that there is a relationship between gender and personality, and it is also indicated thatthere is a relationship between gender and leadership style. The study shows the relationshipbetween supervisor personality and leadership style in PT Multi Citra Abadi Manado. Basedon the research, being open is considered a value of personality that should be increased forcustomers in global era.

Abstract

In the global era, the banks created a system of e-banking that is a form of service providedby them for providing customers ease in conducting transactions anytime and anywhere viaonline. However, with e-banking, it is still perceived by customer complaints, such as securityproblems. In addition, the use of e-banking cannot be used by all customers because ofcertain constraints. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of a positive significantrelationship between service qualities on customer loyalty Bank user satisfaction of ebankingin Surabaya. This research method uses questionnaire for collecting the data. Theresearch was conducted in Surabaya, while the analysis was done by using Structural EquationModeling (SEM) with the number of respondents of 115. The results show that the effectof service quality on customer satisfaction and the effect of customer satisfaction on customerloyalty have no significant and positive effect. The effect of service quality on customer loyaltyhas a significant positive effect

Abstract

Customers purchase intention is influenced by many factors. The reason behind why customersbuy is very important for the company to develop its marketing strategy. The purposeof this study is to examine the influence of Brand Image, Celebrity Endorsement, andBrand Awareness on Customers Purchase Intention of ABC Sweet Soy in Surabaya. Thisresearch uses questionnaire as an instrument to get the response of the respondent. A questionnairewas spread to one hundred people who buying and consuming the ABC sweet soyin Surabaya. Multiple Regression Analyze (MRA) is used to examine the effect of the independentvariables on dependent variable. The findings of this study shows celebrity endorsementand brand awareness has positive significant effect on consumers purchase intention,but not to brand image. The implication of this research, the company shouldstrengthen the brand awareness and should be selective to choose celebrity as endorsementon its advertising.

Abstract

PT Surya TOTO Indonesia Tbk, the Beauty-related industries such as home kitchen, the bathroomis a company in the field of sanitary and furniture which was established in 1977 inJakarta. This study aimed to test the depth of the effect of the delivery, installation, and warrantyclaims against TOTO customer satisfaction. This study was conducted in Jakarta onIndustry TOTO. The respondents are 124 customers who purchase the products of bathroomfixtures and kitchen with installation directly from the company of TOTO. It was conductedin mid-2013, and the data collection technique was using primary data processed by the applicationof SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. The analysis used linear regression analysis tomeasure how much the variable delivery, installation and warranty claims can affect customersatisfaction. The research hypothesis is found that there is a significant positive effectof delivery, installation and warranty claims TOTO products on customer satisfaction. Theresults of multiple linear regression analysis showed that there was also effect of the delivery,installation and warranty claims TOTO effect on customer satisfaction. Warranty claimsis the independent variable that is the most dominant influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Customer loyalty has a very powerful effect on keeping the business sustainability. In addition,loyalty is affected by customer satisfaction which, in turn, is affected by the quality of the relationshipbetween customers and the business. Service improvement is done by maintaining relationshipquality and intimacy. This study examines the impact of interaction between bankingservices and its relationship with quality (which is conceptualized on customer interaction withinterpersonal services and customer interaction with the environment) and intimacy (which isconceptualized by employees hospitality and employees credibility). This study proposes amodel of conceptual relation between quality and intimacy and its impact on satisfaction andloyalty for micro enterprises in Surabaya and its entire (Sidoarjo, Gresik, Mojokerto). Datawere taken from 123 samples and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Itshows that customer interaction with environment has greater effect the quality, and employeescredibility has also greater effect on intimacy. The quality has no significant affect onsatisfaction, but intimacy significantly affects satisfaction, and customer satisfaction also significantlyaffects loyalty.
