Abstract

Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Corporate Performance are the two interrelated elements. SCM can be the vital factor for improving the corporate performance. This study attempts to determine the effect of Supply Chain Management on the company’s performance. It used 165 manufacturing employees in Indonesia as the sample taken through www.googledocs.com. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and processed using Lisrel 8.7. The research proves that information sharing, long term relations, cooperation and integration process, positively and signifi-cantly influence the company's performance. But Long Term Relations, influence the company’s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of investors to invest their fund is to get the stock return. Therefore, they need to understand the company's financial performance and macro-economic factors that can affect the acquisition of stock returns. This study tried to analyze the effects of profitability, liquidity, leverage, and interest rates on stock return. The data were taken from the stock in LQ-45 index period 2012-2014. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling obtained a sample of 24 companies. Analysis techniques used multiple linier regression analysis, the result shows simultaneously return on equity, quick ratio, debt to equity ratio, and interest rates have significant effect on stock return. Partially return on equity and quick ratio have no significant effect on stock return and debt to equity ratio and interest rate have significant effect on stock return.

Abstract

Capital market have very important macroeconomic’s indicator for a country. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of macroeconomic factors to the stock price index of property and real estate. In this study used purposive sampling method as determining the sample and multiple linear regression analysis. The result is in a whole inflation, interest rate, balance of payments, and Gross Domestic Product have significant effect to Stock Index Property and Real Estate Sector. Partially, inflation has a negative significant effect on the Stock Price Index, while interest rates, Balance of Payments and Gross Domestic Product have no effect.

Abstract

Retirement is the when someone have entered their old age, physically beginning to weaken and skills that they owned will decline. Individuals want the welfare on retirement. This is about how individuals managing and financial planned. Good behavior planning can begin with apply financial knowledge in the form of activities like to saving or allocated fund. This study aim is to determine the influence of future orientation, financial knowledge and intelligence spiritual on behavior retirement family planning. There are 272 people becomes respondents of this study with criteria they are 25 – 55 years old, they are married or unmarried, they are live in Gresik, Surabaya and Sidoarjo, and have minimum income of four million rupiah per month. The technique to analyze the data use t-test and Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA). The result showed that future orientation, financial knowledge, and intelligence spiritual have a positive significant to conduct behavior retirement family planning.

Abstract

Family financial-management is vital for achieving a financial well-being. When a family has a barely-enough income that is managed properly and wisely, it is possible that the family can live peacefully, happily, and prosperously. Although people know the importance of family financial- management, there are still many families who haven’t applied a financial management in their families. This study aimed to examine the impact of behavioral intention and spiritual intelligence on family financial-management. The sample was taken from financial managers of families that live in Gresik, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Mojokerto. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling based on family income with a minimum total income Rp 4,000,000/month and snowball sampling. The data were taken by distributing the questionnaires. The results show that the behavioral intention has a positive and significant effect on family financial-management and spiritual intelligence laso has a positive impact but not significant on family financial-management.

Abstract

This research analyzes and explains the application of conventional taxi marketing strategy of Blue Bird in face of online application based transportation competition in Surabaya Indonesia. This research uses qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected from the operational and marketing managers of Blue Bird taxi (1 person), the driver (10 persons), and customer (10 people). To obtain complete information has been done observation, documentation, and interviews with open questions. The results show that Blue Bird's taxi marketing strategy consists of services, prices, distribution, promotion, people, physical evidence and processes that can impact on the company's performance is still not running well in the face of competition of online application-based transportation services. In terms of distribution strategies, people, physical evidence, and processes have been excellent but in product strategy, service, pricing, and promotional strategies are still in a weak condition. The implication of this research is that Blue Bird companies can improve their service innovation primarily on technology aspects, and then lower tariffs for consumers, and lastly use the internet medium to improve efficiency and cheaper than others so as to compete with online-based applications transportation services in Surabaya.

Abstract

Consumptive behavior can negatively affect family welfare. Financial literacy is one of the factors which may affect family financial management behavior. This family financial may differ across ethnic groups due to the different characters and principles of life among them. This study aimed to examine the effect of financial literacy on family financial management using ethnic as a moderating variable. This study uses a questionnaire instrument that is distributed to 140 respondents of Javanese in Madiun residency and 96 respondents of Bugis at Makassar, East Sulawesi. The data analysis technique is multiple regression analysis. This research use purposive sampling and convenience sampling as the sampling technique. The result of this study shows that financial literacy positively affect family financial management behavior, while ethnic does not moderate the effect of financial literacy on family financial management behavior. This study suggests that families, both Javanese and Bugis, need to enhance their financial literacy to enable them to manage their finance well so that they can improve their welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to see the existence and development of BMT in Indonesia, BMT’s potencial in existing interbank network and to see the steps to optimize the BMT. The method used is descriptive qualitative with secondary data approaches by collecting relevant information based on the topic or problems that are being studied through media such as news, internet sites, journals that discuss about the problem’s issues related with BMT’s role dan giving synthesis based on those information. BMT’s development through the inceasing expansion of network between BMT and Syariah Micro-Financial Entity which is a solution to create a powerful BMT, independent and professional. With the existance of interbank network that based on syariah, hopefully this can be the solution to empower Syariah Micro-Financial Entity to increase sustainably the services quality as form of trust, effort and government’s concern towards Syariah Micro-Financial Entity in the development of national economy.

Abstract

This study tried to determine the effect of liquidity risk measured by LDR and IPR, Credit risk measured by APB and NPL, market risk measured by IRR and PDN, operational risk measured by BOPO, and FBIR both simultaneously or partially. On Core CAR (TIER 1) in Bank group of book 3 and book 4. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique, consisting of five banks such as PT Bank Negara Indonesia, PT Bank Maybank Indonesia, PT Bank Tabungan Negara, PT Pan Indonesia Bank, and PT Bank Permata. The secondary data were taken from published financial statements starting from first quarter 2010 until second quarter 2015. They were collected by documentation method and analyzed using linear analysis. The result shows that, partially, LDR, IPR, NPL, PDN, BOPO and FBIR have significant effect on Core CAR (TIER 1). Simultaneously, LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, and FBIR, as represented by liquidity risk, credit risk, market risk, and operational risk partially have significant effect on Core CAR (TIER 1) in Bank group of book 3 and book 4.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is one of several corporate responsibilities for stakeholders. The Company will disclose its social responsibility practices so that the contributions they had can be recognized by the stakeholders. This study aims to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), profitability, size, and liquidity to CSR disclosure. GCG is measured using independent commissioners, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership. This study uses a manufacturing company in Indonesia as the sample in the period 2012-2015. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that independent commissioners, managerial and liquidity ownership had no effect on CSR disclosure, while institutional ownership, profitability and firm size had a significant positive effect on CSR disclosure.
