Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of commitment, trust, and customer retention both partially and simultaneously. This research is also the development of research with reference to the journals and books for the theoretical framework. The subjet was determined by a purposive sampling, which consisted of 30 respondents as sample determination, and this was added with 59 respondents in order to meet the required sample as based on the theory. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires. This questionnaire is used to determine the degree of the effect of commitment, trust, and satisfaction on the customer retention. The data were analyzed by using a descriptive quantitative. The results show, that trust and customer satisfaction partially have signifi cant effect on customer retention while partial commitment does not affect customer retention. Yet, commitment, trust, and satisfaction simultaneously affect customer retention

Abstract

The banking industry in a country must be sound because it can cause the country’s economy develope to be good. The purpose of this study was to analyze the signifi cance of the effect of liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk, operational risk, profi tability and capital simultenously and partially on the bank’s soundness. The population of this research is BUKU 3 and BUKU 4 banks in Indonesia which were taken using a purposive sampling. The secondary data were collected using documentain and analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk, operational risk, profi tability, and capital simultenously have a significant effect on the bank’ soundness. Liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk, profi tability, and capital, partially, influence insignifi cantly. Operational risk has a signifi cant effect on the bank’s soundness of BUKU 3 and BOOK 4 banks. This study suggest that the bank industry manage operational risk well by minimizing operational costs and increase operating income so that bank’ soundness increases every year.

Abstract

This study aims to describes (1) whether the interest rate of KUR of Bank BRI has a significant effect on the decision to borrow micro business customers in Surabaya (2) whether the brand image of KUR of Bank BRI has a signifi cant effect on the decision of borrowing micro business customers in Surabaya (3) whether the service quality of the KUR of Bank BRI has signifi cant infl uence to the decision of borrowing micro business customers Surabaya (4) whether the interest rate, brand image, and service quality have a signifi cant effect on the decision of borrowing micro business customers in Surabaya. The population in this study are customers of Bank BRI Surabaya. The selected sample is the micro business customers in Surabaya using the KUR product from Bank BRI Surabaya, which is calculated using purposive sampling and run into 110 respondents. The data were collected using methods used in this study is through o questionnaires. The sample was taken using a multiple linear regression method. The results show that interest rates, brand image, and quality of services of KUR of Bank BRI, both partially and simultaneously have a signifi cant infl uence on the decision to borrow micro business customers in Surabaya. These results explain that changes in interest rates, brand image and the quality of services offered by Bank BRI through small business loans can have an impact on the decision of micro business customers residing in Surabaya for lending.

Abstract

The purpose of research was to determine whether the credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk. Operational risk and GCG simultaneously and partially towards the bank’s soundness. The population of this research is the national private commercial banks in Indonesia and they were taken by using a purposive sampling. The research sample consists of Bank Central Asia, CIMB Niaga Bank, Bank Danamon Indonesia, Bank PAN Indonesia (Panin Bank), Bank OCBC NISP, Bank May Bank Indonesia, Bank Mega, Bank Bukopin and Bank ICBC Indonesia. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk. Operational risk and GCG simultaneously have a signifi cant infl uence. Partially credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk and GCG have insignifi cant infl uence, while operational risk has a signifi cant effect on the soundness of Nasionaol private commercial banks in Indonesia.

Abstract

Mobile banking, a banking facility, uses mobile communication tool such as mobile phones. They provide convenience for customers to perform banking transactions such as check balances, transfer between accounts and bill payments and know the history of transactions made by users. This study aims to analyze the infl uence of Awareness, Transaction Speed, Security, and Perceived Usefulness with Perceived Ease of Using Media for Adoption of m-banking in BRI Makassar Raya. The sample was taken from m-banking BRI customers in Makassar Raya. There were 100 respondents directly taken using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using smartPLS program (Partial Least Square) version 2.0. The results showed that awareness has a negative effect and not signifi cant towards BRI m-banking Adoption, Transaction Speed has a signifi cant and positive effect on BRI m-banking Adoption, Security has positive and signifi cant effect on BRI m-banking Adoption, Perceived Usefulness has no signifi cant effect to m -banking BRI, Perceived Usefulness has a signifi cant and negative effect on Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Ease of Use has a signifi cant positive effect on m-banking Adoption.

Abstract

Consumers’ intention to purchase is an important factor for the company sustainability. Therefore, each company must pay attention to the factors affecting the consumers’ intention to purchase. This factor can be gained when the consumers are aware, knowing the brand has a good image. This study tries to fi nd out how brand awareness, brand image, and word of mouth affect the customers’ intention to purchase of Nintendo Switch in Surabaya. This study used a quantitative method. The data were collected using questionnaires and 82 respondents was obtained and these data were analyzed using multiple regression. The results showed that brand image and word of mouth signifi cantly affect customers’ intention to purchase while brand awareness dose not for the customers of Nintendo Switch in Surabaya. It implies that the company should pay attention to brand image and word of mouth in order to enhance consumers’ intention to purchase.

Abstract

The study purposes to examine the perceived convenience, risk and benefi ts toward decision to use BRI Mobile Banking in Surabaya. The study is using SPSS Program. The population used in this study is all customers of the Bank BRI in Surabaya, especially in Kaliasin, Kusuma Bangsa and Jemursari branches. The data were collected using questionnaire. To conduct this study, the data were fi nally taken with 80 respondents. This research method used is quantitative. Multiple linear regression analysis used in this study to analyze the data statistically. The results show that perceived convenience and benefi ts affects positive signifi cant the decision to use mobile banking BRI in Surabaya, while the perceived risk is affects not signifi cant the decision to use mobile banking BRI in Surabaya.

Abstract

The global economy increase the competition in the banking secotrs. For that reason, it is important to see the factors that can increase the users of the customer of internet banking. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of perceptions of usability, perceivedease, and security problems on the decision to use internet banking for customers of BRI Bank Surabaya. The sample of this research consists of Bank BRI customers. They were taken by using a judgment sampling method which is based on certain criteria. The data were collected from 74 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that perception of usability and perceived ease and security issues have a signifi cant and positive effect on customer decisions in using Bank BRI internet banking in Surabaya.

Abstract

Mobile banking has been popular as banking service in a couple of years. Many banks in Indonesia have their service, which gets attention from the customers and this make customers use mobile banking service. The study aims to examine the infl uence of perceived usefulness, compatibility, relative advantage, hedonic motivation, and perceived risk on the usage of mobile-banking of Bank Mandiri Surabaya by customer’s behaviour intentions. The data were collected by using questionnaires to 125 responden that use Mandiri mobile-banking. The sample was taken by using a judgement sampling. The hypotheses were analyzed using a partial least square. This research represents to perceived usefulness, compatibility, relative advantage, hedonic motivation and perceived risk. The results shows that perceived usefulness and relative advantage have positive and significant effect, a while compatibility and hedonic motivation have a positive effect but not signifi cant and last perceived risk has a signifi cant and negatif effect on behaviour intentions.

Abstract

MSME is a form of business in Indonesia. This large number of businesses has a high influence on Indonesia. The main purpose was to determine the relationship between financial literacy on MSME performance in Surabaya City. The study was used 73 data MSME owners in Surabaya City. Cluster and purposive sampling techniques were used to select a sample. The data were collected using structured questionnaires. Validity and reliability techniques were also used to test the consistency of the indicators and analytical techniques. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data, and data were presented in the form of tables, fi gures, and percentages. Inferential statistics was also used to test hypotesis. The fi ndings are indicative of a signifi cant effect of bookkeeping literacy, debt literacy, and budgeting literacy on MSME performance. It is recommended that MSME owner to improve the ability make and manage cash management.
