Abstract

An effective learning must have a reference as a source of learning, the provision of quality Arabic language-oriented teaching materials in learning is still very rare. This research is motivated need to overcome the gap between ideal conditions and real conditions in the field, especially the problem of the availability of teaching materials with good Arabic culture insight. Textbooks that are used by teachers and students in a lesson, especially Arabic learning, elements of Arabic culture are not paid much attention and only a few are presented in textbooks. The author is interested to research as an effort to fulfill the criteria for the quality of Arabic Language Insight teaching materials based on the view that Arabic Cultural Insights teaching materials are a strategic alternative-accelerated Arabic learning will be better and more effective if supported by good teaching materials as well.Supporting teaching materials with Cultural Insight Arabic have an effect on increasing students' understanding in learning Arabic and are declared accepted. The results of the teacher's assessment of the feasibility of qawā'id teaching materials showed a positive response in the very good category, while the responses given by students to Arabic-oriented teaching materials showed that they could increase motivation, help and facilitate students in learning Arabic.

Abstract

ABSTRACT           The objectives of this study are: to find out how muhadatsah learning includes planning, implementation and assessment. Knowing what problems are faced by students and teachers in muhadatsah learning, and what Arabic teacher solutions are in overcoming problems faced by students at MTs Negeri 6 Barito Kuala and MTs Pondok Pesantren Dakwah Islamiyah.             This research is a type of field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. In collecting data using observation and interview methods. Documentary, from primary and secondary data sources. Furthermore, it is analyzed using the analysis description technique, and the validity of the data is checked by using the technique, interpretation, triangulation of methods, and triangulation of data sources.            The results showed that the implementation of the Arabic learning process was carried out in 3 stages of learning, the first was the preparation stage, at this stage the Arabic teachers at MTs N 6 Barito Kuala and at MTs Dakwah Islamiyah made planned preparations, as stated in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). . The two stages of the implementation of learning, at this stage the Arabic language teachers at the two madrasas could not fully carry out the learning process according to the lesson plans, because the situations and conditions of students and schools were not supportive. The learning method used in each lesson seems the same. The three stages of learning evaluation, at this stage the Arabic language teachers in the two madrasas only conduct an evaluation at the end of the lesson, which should be evaluated during the learning process and at the end of the lesson. Meanwhile, the problems faced are linguistic and non-linguistic problems. In linguistic problems, there are still many students who are not fluent in pronouncing hijaiyah letters and with vocabulary pronunciation, so they find it difficult to memorize mufradat, understand and apply the rules that have been learned. In non-linguistic problems, when the muhadtsah learning takes place, the teacher uses the mother tongue more as the language of instruction, as a result students are also not used to speaking Arabic, the students have little vocabulary, low interest and motivation, limited time, facilities and facilities. limited family, school and social environment that is less supportive.                   The implication of this thesis is that it becomes a means to overcome the problems of speaking Arabic skills at MTs N 6 Barito Kuala and at MTs Da'wah Islamiyah, and expects all parties, especially Arabic teachers to create a more accustomed environment to use.

Abstract

This study focused on learning Arabic in the classroom, the purpose of this study was to determine the learning activities that took place at MAs Raudhatul Islamiyah. Qualitative descriptive research approach. The procedure for collecting data was observing, interviewing, and documenting. The subject of this research is Arabic teachers. In planning the management is carried out by the teacher, learning planning is by the learning administration flow. The steps in making the first learning administration Competency Standards, Basic Competencies, annual programs, semester programs, and Implementation Plans are more operational and detailed. In preparing the plan the teacher is given the freedom to change, modify, and adapt the syllabus to the conditions of the school, region, and the characteristics of the students so that it is more effective and efficient because it meets criteria such as pre-test, learning process, and post-test. Teachers master learning materials, various strategies, methods, and approaches that vary according to the material being studied, as well as strengthening student motivation by increasing awareness of the importance of learning Arabic in everyday life, giving praise and rewards, giving questions, assignments, tests and notifying results.

Abstract

Idioms are one of the fields of study in semantics. Semantics is a branch of linguistics which studies the language meaning. This study is motivated by students who do not know the form of idioms used in learning. The aim of this study is to know the similarities and differences between Arabic and Indonesian idioms used in learning. The type of this study is library research using contrastive analysis method, which compared two languages in terms of meaning through a qualitative approach. The primary data were the Arabic Idiom Dictionary and a book entitled Indonesian Expression in contrastive anlysis of Arabic and Indonesian while the secondary data were taken from books and journals related to the study. And the results of this study, there are similarities between Arabic and Indonesian idioms terms of sentence form and meaning. There are differentces in Arabic idioms in terms of the intended meaning and differnces in Indonesian in terms of sentences the intended meaning. And there are other differences in terms of the vocabulary used.

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى وصف احتياجات الطلاب إلى تطوير الكتاب المدرسي لمهارة الكلام المستند إلى المنهج الاتصالي. يستخدم البحث منهج التطوير مع الخطوات التالية: مراجعة الأدبيات والملاحظات الميدانية ودراسات الوثائق والاستبانة. تم تحليل البيانات التي تم الحصول عليها لتصبح المادة الرئيسية في تصميم المواد التعليمية. تظهر نتائج الدراسة أنه أولاً، يتم توجيه المواد التعليمية إلى: مساعدة الطلاب على أن يكونوا قادرين على التواصل شفهيًا باستخدام اللغة العربية بأسلوب توجيهي تواصلي. الموضوعان والعبارات التي يحتاجها الطلاب في المحادثة اليومية باللغة العربية هي: التحية والتعارف، الأسرة، السكن، الحياة اليومية، الطعام والشراب، الصلاة، الدراسة، العمل، التسوق، الجو، المجتمع والأماكن، السفر، العطلة، الحج والعمرة. أما العبارات العربية التي يحتاجها الطلاب هي كالتالي: الأخطاء الشائعة التي يتكلم بها الناطقون باللغة العربية، التحية، التحية، التعارف، العروض وطرق الشكر، التهنئة، الثناء، التعبير عن مشاعر السرور والحزن، الطلب، الاعتذار والاستفسار، الاستئذان، إبداء النصح، الموافقة، الرفض والتعبير عن الغضب، الإقرار، الحلف والاستبداع، الشكوك والاستغراب، نقل التحية والدعوات، دعاء النجاح والعبارات للمرضى، عبارات التعزية، التسليم والترحيب، الأدعية العامة، كيف نعبر باللغة العربية بتعبير أفضل.

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the types and relations of meaning contained in the QS al-'Alaq. This thesis uses a qualitative method that is focused on library research. This research uses a multidisciplinary approach that seeks to discuss and examine objects from several disciplines or relate them to different disciplines, namely semantic studies, and education. The collected data is then processed using qualitative research methods, then the analysis technique and data interpretation used is descriptive-semantic analysis, namely examining the meaning of each word used as an interpretive word to interpret the verses in QS. al-'Alaq is based on theories of semantics in general. The results showed the types of meaning contained in QS. al-'Alaq, consisted of several types of meanings, namely: referential meaning, basic meaning or dictionary meaning (al-ma'na al-asasi wa al-mu'jami), and figurative meaning (al-ma'na al-majazi), and denotative meaning (al-ma'na al-haqiqi). Meanwhile, the relation of meaning between the words or the pronunciation of the Qur'an with the words of its interpretation occurs in four kinds of relations (meaning relationships), namely: Synonym relationships (al-taraduf), Polysemy relationships (ta'addud al-ma'na), the concept of hyponymy and hypernymy (al-Isytimal).

Abstract

Arabic is a language that is often used in modern Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia as a means of communication for students in their daily conversations. When Arabic is used among students as a communication tool, Arabic words or expressions arise that have changed from the meaning of fusha or from the initial meaning to meanings that other people, especially native speakers of the language cannot understand, except by the students themselves. Pondok Modern An Najah Putra is a Modern Islamic Boarding School educational institution that requires its students to use Arabic and English in daily conversation, this language obligation raises the phenomenon of changing meanings in sentences or expressions in the Arabic language they use which can only be understood by their environment. Therefore, this research is focused on changing Arabic words and expressions of the students of Pondok Modern An Najah Putra in daily conversation. To achieve this goal, the researcher uses a type of field research by using a descriptive qualitative approach to describe the facts that exist in the research area with the main subject of research changing meaning and the object of research is the words and expressions that exist in the students of Pondok Modern An Najah Putera. both verbally and written. The results of this study are words and expressions that have exchanged their meaning from the meaning of fusha or the initial meaning to other meanings that are only understood by students, forms of meaning exchange such as narrowing of meaning, expansion of meaning, and exchanges in new meanings with associations, exchanges in meaning. the meaning of mashdar to fi'il, exchanging the meaning of mashdar to ismul fa'il, exchanging the meaning of shifah musyabbah bi ismi al-fail to mashdar, exchanging the meaning of ismul fa'il to isim maf'ul, exchanging ismul maf'ul to fi'il, and exchanging harf to fi'il. Because the change in meaning is the influence of Indonesian in a variety of conversations, the emergence of the need for Arabic expressions, the influence of the Banjar language in various conversations, deviations in understanding Arabic, which is often used among students.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of students’ educational background on Arabic learning achievement, the effect of al-Qur'an literacy skills on student learning achievement and the effect of educational background and al-Qur'an literacy skills concurrently on Arabic learning achievement of Religious Department Students at MAN Kotabaru and MAN Tanah Bumbu.This study used a quantitative research with all Religious Department students at MAN Kotabaru (216 students) and MAN Tanah Bumbu (103 students) as the population. The sample contained 25% of each population which is 90 students: 60 students from MAN Kotabaru (30 students graduated from MTs and 30 students graduated from SMP) and 30 students from MAN Tanah Bumbu (15 students graduated from MTs and 15 students graduated from SMP). The data collection instruments were questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis.The results showed that there was an influence of educational background on Arabic learning achievement of Religious Department students by 28% at MAN Kotabaru and 30.9% at MAN Tanah Bumbu. Furthermore, there was an influence of al-Qur'an literacy skills on Arabic learning achievement of Religious Department students by 44% at MAN Kotabaru and 37% at MAN Tanah Bumbu. Further, there was an influence of educational background and the al-Qur'an literacy skills on the Arabic language learning achievement of Religious Department students by 52.1% at MAN Kotabaru and 46.9% at MAN Tanah Bumbu. It could be concluded that the Arabic language learning achievement of Religious Department students at the both of schools was influenced by other factors outside of this study.

Abstract

The research purpose is to know Arabic vocabulary acquisition on students by traditional game cublak-cublak suweng (CSS). The applied approach in this research is PTK (class based research) held in cycles. Each cycle composed two meetings. The first meeting is used to give the material, drill vocabularies, and give test paper connected with fresh taught vocabularies. Second meeting is used to review taught vocabularies in first meeting by traditional game CSS. The data collection is by using interview, observation, giving tests, and documentation. The result of research indicates using game method, especially in traditional game cublak-cublak suweng increase students' Arabic vocabulary acquisition. The indicator is increasing grades degree from first cycle to other cycles; lack in first cycle, sufficient in second cycle, and good in third cycle.
