Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant positive relationship between self-confidence and self-actualization with the employees of PT. Duta Media Kaltim Press (Samarinda Post). The hypothesis that the proposed in this study is that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence with self-actualization. Subjects in this study were employees of PT. Duta Media Kaltim Press (Samarinda Pos) with criteria editors position or title, precast or creative division, mountase, advertising, marketing and public or personnel totaling 60 subjects consisted of 47 male respondents and 13 female respondents. Scale used in this study is a scale of self-actualization that refers to those aspects of orientation is realistic, efficiently perceive reality, accept yourself, others and the environment for what it is, recognize the dignity of humanity, has a very creative and social interests that put forward by Maslow and confidence scale with aspects such as conviction self ability, optimistic, objective, rational and realistic responsible. The results showed a positive relationship between self-confidence  with self-actualization, which is on the point of the analysis is the product moment correlation r = 0.523 (p <0.05), and the effective contribution of 43.4%. The hypothesis of this study stated in the thank.

Thesis 2013. x + 68 sheets, 13attachments.This study aims to determine whether there are differences in motivation betweenstudents who work and do not work in terms of the aspects that distinguish high motivation andlow motivation. motivation is the tendency of students in learning activities is driven by thedesire for achievement or learning outcomes as possible.The research was conducted on students of Psychology, Law, and Economics, Semester1, 3, and 5 University August 17, 1945 in Samarinda. Sample was taken by 120 peoplenonpribability sampling technique. In this study there is only one variable is motivation to learn.Gauges in this study refers to students' learning motivation theory, proposed by Worrel andStillwel, 1981 (in Hodijah, 2006). This study uses quantitative comparative method. Analysis anddrawing conclusions based on research using survey data sources through a questionnaireconsisting of 20 items. Research data in the test with the t-test, with the help of the statisticalprogram SPSS 13.Assumption of normality distribution test results to generate motivation variable value Z= 0708 and p = 0.698 (p> 0:05). The test results show the distribution rules based on a grain ofmotivation to learn is normal. This shows that there is no significant difference betweenLearning Motivation in Students Working and not Working with sig = p = 0.355 showed nosignificant difference between students learning motivation that works and does not work. Theaverage value of the work is higher than not working with Mean = 58.83 versus 57.48.

Abstract

Abstract.Human resources within an organization requires to be considered, organizations that want to move forward and evolve will think of its employees job satisfaction, and job satisfaction in the can by the employee will inspire employees to perform better, it also becomes a chore at PT. Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri always want to give the best to the employees.This study aims to determine the relationship of adversity quotient with job satisfaction to employee PT. Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri. The subjects were the employees who work in the field as much as 130 samples. Use data collected aqversity quotient scale and job satisfaction. Data analysis technique used statistical analysis product korelation moment with SPSS version 13 for windows. The results of this research shows that there is a positive correlation and a very sigfikan between adversity quotient with employee job satisfaction in the PT Bina Insan Sukses Mandiri with a value of R = 0.097 and p = 0.000

Abstract

Organization Citizenship Behavior (OCB) merupakan Perilaku yang bertindak melebihi tugas pekerjaan, dan merupakan perilaku di luar peran (extra-role behavior).   Salah satu faktor yang dapat membentuk Organizational Citizenship Behavior, adalah kepuasan kerja.  Dimana kepuasan kerja pegawai dapat menimbulkan perilaku membantu orang lain, loyalitas pegawai terhadap organisasi.  Beban Pegawai Negeri Sipil memiliki area yang luas, tenaga kerja yang terbatas dan tingginya beban tugas yang harus diemban Pegawai Negeri Sipil di lingkungan Dinas Perikanan dan Perternakan Pemerintah Kota Samarinda maka perlu adanya sikap saling membantu, loyalitas untuk dapat menyelesaikan tugasnya dan itu diawali oleh sikap kepuasan kerja dalam diri PNS itu sendiri.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Deskriptif Kuantitatif. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah Pegawai Negeri Sipil Dinas Perikanan dan Peternakan Pemerintah Kota Samarinda yang berjumlah 82 orang. Data yang digunakan adalah data dengan penyebaran kuisioner. Sedangkan analisis data yang dipakai adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana dengan perhitungan statistiknya menggunakan software SPSS16 for windows.Pada penelitian ini, variabel bebas berupa kepuasan kerja Pegawai Negri Sipil dan varibel terikat Organizational Citizenship Bahavior mempunyai nilai koefisien sebesar 0,428 artinya bahwa pengaruh kepuasan kerja pegawai terhadap  Organizational Citizenship Bahavior 42,8 % yaitu cukup kuat dan signifikanKesimpulan yang didapatkan dari analisa di atas bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang cukup kuat dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja terhadap Organizational Citizenship Bahavior dapat diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Konsep diri dan Kepercayaan diri pada Sales Promtion, Sehingga terdapat 2 hubungan yang akan diselidiki dalam penelitian ini, yaitu : 1) Konsep diri; 2) Kepercayaan diri. Penelitian dilakukan kepada Sales Promotion PT. Nutrifood Indonesia dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 200 orang yang terdiri dari 160 orang perempuan dan 40 orang laki-laki. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara konsep diri dan kepercayaan diri, yang di tunjukan dari analisis korelasi product moment yaitu r = 0,537 (p < 0,05).

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh antara perilaku bullying terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 31 Samarinda. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan alat ukur yang digunakan dari masing-masing variabel adalah kuesioner, yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Dengan jumlah Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang siswa/siswi kelas VII SMP Negeri 31 Samarinda dengan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert dengan dua jenis skala, yaitu skala perilaku bullying dan skala motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 13.  Dengan tehnik correlations product moment hasil uji asumsi normalitas sebaran terhadap variabel motivasi belajar menghasilkan Z = 0.829 dan nilai sig = 0.497 >0.05 sedangkan untuk bullying menghasilkan Z =0.639 dan nilai sig = 0.808 >0.05, hal menunjukkan sebaran butir- butir motivasi belajar dan Bullying adalah normal. Dengan nilai linearity F = 1.319 dan  p = 0.172 < 0.05 yang berarti hubungannya dinyatakan linier. Sedangkan hasil koefisien R = 0.192 menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh bullying terhadap motivasi belajar hanya sebesar 0.192% dan dan 99.8% merupakan faktor lain yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa selain bullying disekolah. Artinya hipotesis mayor dalam penelitian ini ditolak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between democratic parenting with emotional maturity level of the students of SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda in terms of the aspects of each democratic parenting variables as the independent variable (X) and emotional maturity as the dependent variable (Y) .The research was conducted in class I and class 2 SMA Negeri 9 Samarinda. Samples totaling 159 students drawn with probability sampling technique. Types of research used in this study is a quantitative correlation. Formula used for the calculation of reliability Cronbach's Alpha. To test the statistical analysis used product moment correlation, with the help of the statistical program SPSS 13.Normality test showed normal results (p> 0.05), namely for emotional maturity and p = 0.704 for democratic parenting p = 0.290. Linearity test results stated linear (p> 0.05), namely p = 0.10 for democratic parenting-emotional maturity. For the analysis of the results of hypothesis testing using product moment correlations with outcome r = 0.043, and p = 0.590. Rules that are used is if p <0.05 then there is a significant relationship anatara two variables. because p = 0.590> 0.05 then it means that the major hypothesis in this study was rejected.

Abstract

Confidence Relationships With Adaptive Capabilities: Studies on PT. Main Technical Bukaka Balikpapan Tri Mei Handoko. 08.11.1001.3510.029. Fakultas Psikologi Program Studi Psikologi. Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Samarinda, 2013. This study aims to reveal the relationship of confidence with the ability to adapt Bukaka Technical Employees in Main Balikpapan PT. No matter how small changes in employee confidence will affect the employee's ability to adapt. Employee behavior will be correlated with the ability to adapt. The population in this study were employees working at PT. Main Technical Bukaka Balikpapan. As many as 143 samples taken from 319 respondents the existing population.Non-parametric correlation test using the product moment correlation coefficient to determine the relationship between variables X and Y values by comparing the count r with r table. From the calculations, r of 0.6250. After the results of the analysis are compared with the r table (table critical value) where N = 143 with a significance level of 0.05, it turns out empirical count r is greater than r table (0.6250> 0.176> 0.230). Thus the working hypothesis (hi) be accepted as true and reject the null hypothesis (ho). This means that there is a significant relationship between self-confidence with the adaptability of employees at PT. Main Technical Bukaka Balikpapan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Emotional Quotient (EQ). Emotional Quotient in question is the sensitivity to recognize and manage their own and other people's feelings and sensitivity in managing these feelings then become the framework in behavior, socializing or taking the right decision. Emotional Quotient is divided into five main skills that will be investigated the effect of Information and Communication Technology in this study, namely: 1) Recognizing one's emotions; 2) Management emotion; 3) Motivate yourself; 4) Recognizing emotions in others; 5) Fostering relationships .The study was conducted in young children, especially student of vocational schools, 127 students study subjects, consisting of 33 students majoring in Multimedia class XI, 32 students majoring in Computer Technology and Networking class XI, 33 students majoring in Multimedia class XII, 29 students majoring Computer Technology and Networking class XII. Data analysis was performed with the statistical technique of Pearson product moment correlation, with the help of statistical program SPSS version 18 for windows.From the analysis of the research data obtained by the correlation effect of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Emotional Quotient at 0.433 with p of 0.000. This shows that there is a positive and highly significant between Information and Communication Technology with Emotional Quotient.

Abstract

Research was implemented with objective to know Compensation and Loyalty Influence empirically to employee Turnover Intention. Data resources from this research were taken from books references, journal, electronic media and interview. Research was implemented to 80 research subjects of operational employee and used probability sampling technique and distribute questionnaire of Compensation, Loyalty and Turnover Intention to Employee of PT. Eramart Group Samarinda, East Kalimantan. Data analyses had been used regression analyses technique and used SPSS Statistical 16 for windows program.Results of the research are shows that hypothesis use in this research could be accepted. First hypothesis shows that there is a negative influence between Compensation to Turnover Intention with value of correlation are -0,568; it means that if compensation is more higher, employee Turnover Intention will lower. Second hypothesis shows that there is an influence of loyalty to Turnover Intention with correlation value of -0,345 which means that if loyalty higher then employee Turnover Intention will get lower. Third hypothesis shows that there is an influence between Compensation and Loyalty to Turnover Intention with value of r = -0,463 which mean that more higher Employee Compensation and Loyalty then will lower employee Turnover Intention. While effective contribution of this research to compensation and loyalty to Turnover Intention of employee in PT. Eramart Group Samarinda are 46,3%.
