Abstract

ABSTRACT.This study aims to investigate the characteristics of Tedong Bonga that determine it’s prices in the Market Animal Bolu North Toraja Regency. The research was conducted for approximately one month starting from the month of May to June 2013 in the Market Animal Bolu, District Tallunglipu, North Toraja Regency. Type of research was descriptive quantitative with Deplhi methods. This type of data wass qualitative and quantitative. Sources of data are primary and secondary data. The results indicate characteristic stripes that the highest selling price in the Market Animal striped buffalo Bolu.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Goat rearing of extensive and semi-intensive maintenance can be increased to maintenance intensive system, weight gain can reach 50-150 grams per day. So that productivity in livestock commodities goats can be increased compared to the traditional maintenance of extensive wear  patterns (Mulyono and Sarwono, 2005). Given this reality, it is important to have a business, both from the government, private sector, research and development community to pay more attention to the ease of semi-intensive farming. Therefore, it needs to look and pay attention to the factors that affect the community raising goats with semi-intensive system. This is the background of the research conducted under the title. The purpose of this study was to identify factors - factors that affect the ease of maintenance of goats nut with semi-intensive system in the village of Borongtala District, Tamalatea, Regency Jeneponto. This research was carried out for 2 months starting from the date of December 8, 2014 until the date of January 2, 2015 in the village of Borongtala, District Tamalatea, Jeneponto. This type of research is explanatory research that aims to explain the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. Analysis of the data used is inferential statistical analysis by multiple linear regression. The results obtained Partially factor of economic value (X1), adaptation (X2), capital (X3) land (X4) and feed (X5) significantly affects society as a semi-intensive farming (Y) where (Tarithmetic> T table. Simultaneously, the economic value factor (X1), adaptation (X2), capital (X3) land (X4) and feed (X5) significantly affects society as a semi-intensive farming (Y) where (F count> F table).

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research was a case study that aims to determine: 1) the level of customer satisfaction of Sinjai’s dairy products (Susin), 2) Attributes (element) Sinjai’s milk (susin) was preferred by consumers. The experiment was conducted in the Perak Mountain village, West Sinjai, Sinjai Regency. The research method is a field survey by questionnaire survey instrumentation. Numbers of samples were determined by Skinov formula. Sampling purposive by 80 respondents had used. The results showed that: 1) The level of customer satisfaction with the product and price (2P) in the Perak Mount village Sinjai, consumers expressed satisfaction on all attributes of the products and prices of susin, 2) Consumer susin at Perak Mountain Village Sinjai priority susin flavor attributes of the product with the highest quantitative by 4.5811. Keywords: Satisfaction, Customer, Product and Price of Sinjai’s Milk (Susin).

Abstract

 This study aims to determine the inhibitory activity of garlic, betel leaf and cinnamon herbal remedy made to the growth of B. subtilis and E. coli, and to know the long fermentation of the best herbs to inhibit the growth of B. subtilis and E. coli. This research was conducted in the Laboratory of Microbiology and Animal Health High School Agricultural Extension (HSAE/) Gowa. The treatment is given as follows: The herb is fermented for 0 days without EM4 (control) P0; herb fermented for 0 days without EM4 P1; herb that is fermented for 7 days with EM4 P2; herb that is fermented for 14 days with EM4 P3; herb fermented for 21 days at EM4 P4. The data obtained were processed using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and what if the test significant, then continued with the smallest Significant Difference Test (SDT). Results of analysis of variance showed that the treatment significantly (P<0.05) against on the growth of B. subtilis and E. coli. The conclusion of this study is, materials that are made of herbal ingredients (garlic, betel leaf and cinnamon) has a diameter of inhibition zones on treatment significantly (P<0.05) on the growth of B. subtilis and E. coli. and long fermentation excellent for growth resistor B. subtilis and E. coli is at P3 treatment 14 days fermentation. Keywords: Herbal Remedy (Garlic, Betel Leaf and Cinnamon), B. subtilis, E. coli.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study was conducted in March-April 2013. The research took place in laboratory of Live stock Products Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology, Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar. This study aims to know the effect of tea leaves (Camellia sinensis) with liquid smoke (liquid smoke) and long marinating of HU (Haugh unit) and granular the quality salted eggs. Completely randomized design (CRD) with a general pattern 5x4 by 3 replications. Arrangement of treatments as follows: Factor A: combination of tea leaves + concentration of liquid smoke, 1. Tea leaves (0%) + liquid smoke (0%), 2. Leaf tea (10%) + liquid smoke (0%), 3. Tea leaves (0%) + liquid smoke (10%), 4. Leaf tea (20%) + liquid smoke (0%), 5. Tea leaves (0%) + liquid smoke (20%). Factor B: long salting, 1. (6 days), 2. (7 days), 3. (8 days), 4. (9 days). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 parameters of egg quality testing using the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD). Based on the results of analysis of variance showed that administration of a combination of the concentration of tea leaves (Camellia sinensis) with liquid smoke (Liquid smoke) may affect the value of granular while the effect on the value of long marinating HU (Haugh unit). Keywords: Tea Leaves, Liquid Smoke, Long Salting, Salted Egg Quality.

Abstract

ABSTRACT.   This study aimed to determine the motivation of the Toraja people cut buffalo on custom events Rambu Solo’ and Rambu Tuka’. The study was conducted in May 2012 until June 2012 in the districts Makale, Tana Toraja Regency. Populasi was all the people who have done cutting buffalo while the sample of 20 people with using the Delphi method. Data analysis was a descriptive statistical frequency distribution. The results showed people's motivation to cut Toraja buffalo on custom events Rambu Solo 'and Rambu Tuka' consists of extrinsic motives, namely: 1. Driven feeling indebted for families who have a party had first brought and cut the buffalo on the traditional parties that have been held (pay down debt), 2. to preserve the culture and increase revenue (the original income) Tana Toraja, 3.Habits / Rituals and intrinsic motives, namely: 1. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of the marketing mix includes product, price and distribution to sales volume broiler products in some traditional markets in the city of Makassar (central market, terong market, pa'baeng-Baeng market, panampu market and daya market). The research design using cross sectional study with a sample of 100 people. Sampling is done exchautic sampling. The data was collected through observations, interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using chi-square test followed by linear regression to determine the independent variables are the most influential. The results showed that there are three variables that influence of marketing mix of product (p = 0.032), price (p = 0.001), distribution (p = 0.020). Variables that most strongly influence the effectiveness of the sales are priced with sig (p) = 0.010 and (Beta = 0.282). Traders expected the broiler products further enhance the marketing mix of the aspects (product, price and distribution) that can be improved chicken sales. Traders need to do a more careful consideration such as the determination of the selling price, the price imposed competitors, and costs incurred with respect to the business of increasing sales. Keywords: Marketing Mix, Volume of Sales.

Abstract

This study aims to find out  how the effect of feed concentrate and the urea molasses block (UMB) of the hematocrit value of beef cattle. Research conducted at the Samata Integrated Farming System (FIS) Gowa Distric, and Lab Animal Physiology Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University, Makassar. The method used a randomized desain (RAK)  with a pattern of 2 x 6, (T1; forage 70 % + concentrate 30%), (T2; forage 70 %v+ UMB 30%), using 12 male bali cattle in the range of age of 1.5 - 2 years. Data analysis using T-student. The results showed that feeding concentrates and urea molasses block (UMB) was not significant (P> 0.05) to the hematocrit value of beef cattle

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The research aims to determine the partnership held by PT. Ciomas Adisatwa and the level of satisfaction plasma breeders of the performance services PT. Ciomas Adisatwa. This research was conducted at PT. Ciomas Adisatwa Simbang rigency Maros of districts. The research method is field survey by using a questionnaire with 30 sampling. The results show that : 1) Pattern of partnerships by PT. Ciomas Adisatwa is core-plasma pattern, where the company as core and breeder as plasma. The advantages of this pattern is certainty means of production, services or guidance, and post-harvest services. 2) Overall assessment plasma of breeders to the PT. Ciomas Adisatwa is conform with the hope that the accumulated number levels of satisfaction on the performance of the core plasma at 48,36% (content category).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor strategis internal dan eksternal yang berpengaruh dalam pemasaran sapi potong dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pemasaran yang sesuai di PT. Berdikari United Livestock di Kabupaten  Sidenreng Rappang, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dilapangan dengan melakukan wawancara, dan pengisian kusioner. Data diolah dengan analisis implementasi bauran pemasaran beserta dengan penggunaan matriks IFE, EFE  dan IE. Serta analisis SWOT guna melihat kesesuaian strategi yang akan diterapkan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi internal yang menjadi kekuatan utama adalah memiliki ladang gembala  yang terluas di Indonesia, seluas kurang lebih 6000 ha dengan status hak guna usaha (HGU). Sedangkan faktor strategi internal yang menjadi kelemahan utama adalah belum memiliki peta pemasaran dan analisis persaingan. Faktor strategis eksternal yang menjadi peluang utama bagi PT. Berdikari United Livestock adalah peluang yang sangat besar untuk menggarap pasar sektor industri makanan olahan yang berbahan dasar daging sapi. Faktor strategis eksternal yang menjadi ancaman utama PT. Berdikari United Livestock adalah diversifikasi usaha memerlukan tambahan investasi yang cukup besar dan tumbuhnya pesaing-pesaing baru dalam sektor bisnis peternakan.Hasil  analisis matriks SWOT diperoleh beberapa alternatif strategi yang dapat diterapkan yaitu strategi S-O; Pengembangan pasar dan pengembangan manajemen pemeliharaan dengan meningkatkan stok sapi, pertahankan dan tingkatkan difersivikasi produk. Strategi S-T; Mempertahankan dan meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produk, memaksimalkan kualitas kerja pekerja dalam hal menangani manejemen pemeliharaan dan manajemen kesehatan ternak serta memperluas area promosi, sehingga memperluas jaringan pemasaran.
