Abstract

ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study was to determine the operating revenue based scale broiler breeder of different businesses in the District Baranti, Sidrap. This study was conducted in November 2014 to February 2015. Located in the village of Sipodeceng, District Baranti, Sidrap. This research is descriptive quantitative research is a type of research that will describe the level of operating revenues of duck meat at different scale. Population broiler breeder ducks Sipodeceng Village, District Baranti,  Sidrap of 35 Breeders. The sampling technique was purposive with consideration that the farmers who  raise cattle broiler ducks during one period in 70 days conducted semi-intensive. The type of data in the form of quantitative data, the data source in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques such as observation and interviews. Analysis of the data used to determine the operating revenues of duck meat by using statistical analysis deskrektif ie deskreptif. Based onthe research results it can be seen that the average income of farmers in the village of broiler ducks Sipodeceng District of Baranti Sidrap vary at each scale businesses owned, the largest revenue are on a scale of 1001-1500 in the amount of Rp. 23,901,389, - per period at a cost of rupiah per cow. Rp. 18 389.While the smallest on a scale of 100-300 is Rp. 1,460,875, - per period at a cost of rupiah per cow. Rp. 6,506. The difference in the income of farmers due to differences in the number of livestock owned broiler ducks. The larger the scale of business, the higher the income.

Abstract

Cangkang kepiting (rajungan) mudah mengalami pembusukan sehingga dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, masalah limbah cangkang kepiting ini perlu mendapat perhatian agar tidak menjadi sumber polusi bagi lingkungan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi keberadaan limbah cankang kepiting, yaitu diolah menjadi pakan ternak dalam bentuk tepung sebagai sumber kalsium. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat respon biologis broiler terhadap berbagai level pemberian tepung cangkang kepiting. Penelitian terdiri empat perlakuan, yaitu (1) Ransum basal + 0% tepung cangkang kepiting, (2) ransum basal + 3% tepung cangkang kepiting, (3) Ransum basal + 6% tepung cangkang kepiting, dan (4) Ransum basal + 9% tepung cangkang kepiting. Setiap perlakuan terdiri tiga ulangan  menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, dan konversi ransum. Namun, respon biologis broiler yang terbaik pada perlakuan pemberian level tepung cangkang kepiting 6%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the effect of treatment delays and feeding after hatching on growth rate and feed efficiency of broiler. This study was conducted from March to April 2012, in the Poultry Production Science Laboratory, Department of Animal Production, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Hasanuddin, Makassar. This study is based on completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were applied, namely U1: Delays handling and feeding 12 hours after hatching, U2: Delays handling and feeding 42 hours after hatching, U3: delay handling and feeding 72 hours after hatching. Parameters measured were early treatmentweight, feed consumption, water consumption, weight gain, final body weight and feed conversion. Results of analysis of variance showed that the delay handling and feeding 12 hours, 42 hours, and 72 hours after hatching significant (P <0.05) on body weight beginning of treatment, significant (P <0.05) on feed consumption, not influence (P> 0.05) on the consumption of drinking water, a significant effect (P <0.05) weight gain, significant (P <0.05) on final body weight had no impact (P> 0.05 ) to broiler feed conversion. The conclusion of this study that the chickens get the handling and feeding early will consume more feed that impact on better growth. However, delay in the handlingand feeding had no impact on water consumption and feed conversion.

Abstract

Usaha agribisnis ayam ras pedaging merupakan usaha yang cukup banyak diminati oleh masyarakat yang memiliki keunggulan pertumbuhan yang sangat cepat dengan bobot badan yang tinggi dalam waktu yang relatif pendek, konversi pakan kecil, siap dipotong pada usia muda serta menghasilkan kualitas daging berserat lunak. Rata-rata peternak yang memelihara ayam ras pedaging bekerjasama dengan beberapa perusahaan kemitraan, dengan pola kemitraan perusahaan sebagai inti dalam memasok sarana produksi ternak (sapronak) dan penyalur hasil produksi ternak. Daerah kabupaten Gowa merupakan salah satu sentra peternakan ayam ras broiler yang sebagian besar peternak melakukan kerjasama mitra dengan perusahaan dengan pola inti-plasma. Pelayanan perusahaan kemitraan merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan dan harapan peternak. Sebanyak 7 peternak dari perusahaan X dipilih sebagai sampel, karenaperusahaan tersebut memiliki jumlah peternak plasma yang lebih banyak disbanding dengan perusahaan mitra lainnya. Adapun alat analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisisdeskriptif dan analisis IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis). Hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa tingkat kesesuaian antara kepuasan dan harapan peternak plasma ayam broiler terhadap atribut pelayanan PT. X di Kecamatan Pattallassang Kabupaten Gowa, masih belum bisa memberikan kesesuaian 100 %. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan angka pada tingkat kesesuaian tidak mencapai 100 % yaitu sebesar 85,28%. Dan atribut kesesuaian waktu panen menjadi atribut yang perlu mendapat perhatian dari perusahaan mitra karena memiliki nilai kesenjangan tertinggi yaitu sebesar -0,86.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to know the effect of concentrate and UMB woof giving on cow body weight increase. the research method is based 2 treatments, first treatment is UMB woof giving and second treatment is concentrate woof giving. Each treatments are based of 5 cows. Data were analyzed by T test (t- Test Independent Sample). Based on the results of analysis showed that effect of UMB and concentrate woof giving does not affect to body weight increase of cows.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk dan harga kerupuk Dangke di Kabupaten Enrekang, 2) Atribut (elemen) kerupuk Dangke yang diutamakan oleh konsumen. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Juni 2015 yang bertempat di Desa Talaga, Kecamatan Enrekang, Kabupaten Enrekang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei lapangan dengan instrumen pendukung kuisioner. Penentuan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan 70 responden. Tingkat kepuasan konsumen diukur dengan menggunakan skala likert (skor 1-5) dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus tingkat kepuasan = total nilai observasi / total responden x 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Tingkat kepuasan konsumen terhadap produk dan harga kerupuk Dangke di Desa Talaga Kabupaten Enrekang, konsumen menyatakan sangat puas terhadap atribut kemasan, variasi rasa, dan harga dari produk kerupuk Dangke. Sedangkan konsumen menyatakan puas terhadap atribut rasa dan ukuran dari produk kerupuk Dangke, 2) Konsumen kerupuk Dangke di Desa Talaga Kabupaten Enrekang mengutamakan atribut kemasan, variasi rasa, dan harga dari produk kerupuk Dangke dalam menentukan keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This study aims to determine the efficiency of a scale and intensit y of input use in laying chicken farming production phase II at Gowa. Results of this study are expected to provide additional information for further research, and for the improvement of poultry farm business management at the sites. Using survey method with data collection observation and interview. Some 30 farmers samples have been analyzed. The data collected is last 3 months include; (1) the number of population, (2) the amount of egg production per day or Henday, (3) the number of inputs used include DOC, feed, spacious cages, labor, and living cost. To determine the efficiency of a scale and intensity of  input use analysts used the Cobb-Douglas production function. Results of this study concluded that the scale of production and the intensity of input use production phase II is a set of conditions that are not efficient or deccreasing return to scale (DRS). This is because the production phase II, aged 19-25 months biological production and reproductive capacity has decreased. The implications of this research is laying chicken breeders production phase II need to input a maximum of 39.80% reduction of the number of previous use.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The fat (tallow) of bali cattle is a by-product that have not been used. The fat of cattle lately has been developed as a raw material for biodiesel. The process of biodiesel has done through a trans-esterification process and requiring of catalyst. The ratio of fat-methanol will determine the quality of biodiesel. This study aims to identify the effect of combination of fatmethanol with different ratios on the properties of biodiesel products made from fat of bali cattle. The fat of abdominal of Bali cattle was used as main material. There are three types of ratios were applied, namely (1:3), (1:5) and (1:7). The study was carried out experimentally by the reaction esterification and trans-esterification and than KOH as a catalyst. The results of this study showed that the application of ratio of fat-methanol different (1:3), (1:5) and (1:7) showed no significant effect on the value of water content, kinematic viscosity and flash point. Implementation of ratio of fat-methanol (1:3) can be applied to obtain more efficient results with properties corresponding to the INS.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1). Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan, motivasi, dan adopsi teknologi biogas peternak sapi potong di Desa Bumiayu; 2) Untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi teknologi biogas peternak sapi potong di Desa Bumiayu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2016– Maret 2016. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif meliputi Adopsi Teknologi Biogas dan kualitatif meliputi Pengetahuan dan Motivasi yang akan dikuantitatifkan secara Likert. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 48 kemudian dilakukan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 32 responden dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi dan wawancara.  Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi dan statistik inferensial (parametrik) menggunakan Regresi Linear Berganda melalui program SPSS 16.00 for windows. Hasil gambaran pengetahuan, motivasi dan adopsi teknologi biogas tergolong sedang.  Pengetahuan dan Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap adopsi teknologi biogas di Desa Bumiayu. Nilai koefisien determinannya (r2) variabel penelitian  (x1) sebesar 0,49 yang berarti secara parsial kontribusi sebesar 49,5% dan (x20,343 secara parsial sebesar 34,3%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. This research was conducted in September s.d October 2013 . Housed in Laboratory Animal Products Technology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Hasanuddin University, Makassar. This study aimed to determine the effect of immersion time 10 % liquid smoke concentration and storage time on the quality of beef longissimus dorsi muscle bali (has outside). The research methodology is based on completely randomized design (CRD) with a general pattern that is 4 x 4 with 3 replications, Composition of treatment as follows: Factor I is a Long Soaking with A1 (0 minutes), A2 (30 minutes), A3 (60 minutes), A4 (90 minutes). Factor II is the long storage with B1 (0 weeks), B2 (1 weeks), B3 (2 weeks) and B4 (3 weeks). Data were analyzed by analysis of variance using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 parameters of meat quality testing using the Least Significant Difference Test (BNT).Based on the results of various analysisand discussion, it can be concluded that the long soaking liquid smoke did not significantly affect the quality of meat while the storage time affects the quality of meat.
