Abstract

Nowadays, politics can be interpreted as a drama of life in which symbolic play takes place. In its development politics has become part of a public drama that uses theater news to stage the role played by political actors. Drama in this context can be understood as a social process in which things happen to the audience because of the parts played by the actors. This research focus on the television advertising absurd version of the Indonesian Solidarity Party, using the foundation of Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic theory. From this study, it was concluded that the party's television adverts were only a strategy to portray themselves, raising the prestige and electability of the party alone. Abstract

This study focuses on the role of social media in disseminating agricultural information at Pustaka Bogor. Qualitative methods were used with a case study approach. Data collection is through observation and interviews with 3 (three) informants. Our findings indicate that the policies regarding the use of social media at Pustaka are based on the target audience of its library. The social media being used by Pustaka to disseminate information are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube. Social media plays an important role in the dissemination of information carried out by Pustaka. Our findings also support the Pustaka’s mission in disseminating information. Social media can help libraries to promote and disseminate information specifically in agriculture to community users.

Abstract

The globalization era is driving the decline of Indonesia's local cultural extension, especially in the millennial generation. The real impact of the phenomenon that occurs the worst possibility is the extinction of local culture due to the absence of a millennial generation of the local culture. It is the duty of the government to take these issues seriously, so researchers are interested in reviewing the implementation of the public relations model in socializing local culture to the millennial generation in Sumenep. The theoretical study uses the public relations model of Grunig & Hunt. The research approach uses qualitative descriptive research. The informant in the research head of the field of promotion of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports and several millennial generations in Sumenep. The results of the study showed that the socialization carried out tended to implement the Public Information Model.

Abstract

The method used uses a qualitative approach to the type of action research research. There are five stages in the research that begin the diagnosis stage, the planning, implementation, evaluation and learning stages. At the stage of the action in the form of creating a Facebook page for Galonggong craftsman marketing activities with the name '' Galonggong Tasik Village Crafts '' and the user name is @ kerajinangalonggong.tas1k. As for the results of an evaluation of the design of Facebook-based social media development in supporting the marketing activities of agricultural equipment craftsmen in the village of Galonggong Tasikmalaya in the form of a Facebook page with the name "Handicraft Kampong Galonggong Tasik" that this page has been assessed and received very well by the craftsmen and said to have been suitable for use in the marketing of products from the agricultural tools of the village of Galonggong Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

Now days there have been many television shows which are documentation, travel, and trips that are broadcast by tv stations and much favored by the community especially young people like My Trip My Adventure is one of the educational programs whose purpose is to provide knowledge and invite the audience to learn more about preserving nature. In relation the researcher took the object of the Nature Lover Student (Mapala) member. The purpose of this study is whether there is an influence of exposure to television media and the My Trip My Adventure program simultaneously on the interest in improving nature conservation in the Mapala Community. The theory used by Uses and Gratification and Cultivation Theory. The research method used is a quantitative method. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire method. The results of this study partially had no effect on the media's exposure to the interest in preserving with t count 633 <t table 1,997 and the Sig. 0.528> 0.05, while Impressions My Trip My Adventure influences the interest in preserving t count 6,778> t table 1,975 and sig value 0,000 <0.05. This is concluded with the coefficient of determination showing the results of the influence of variables X1 (media exposure) and X2 (impressions) simultaneously on the Y variable (interest) of 54.5% and the remaining 45.5% is influenced by other factor.

Abstract

The research attempts to represent Bromance in Indonesian culture implicit in the Yowis Ben Movie. The research used a qualitative method, the semiotics of Rolands Barthes. In this reseacrh we found the fact that the concept of Bromance has actually entered Indonesian culture. This can be seen in the Yowis Ben Movie. Where in the movie there is a group of male teenagers who have a closeness both emotionally, to physically. So it can be interpreted that the closeness of relationships between men in Indonesia cannot always be related to homosexuals (gays). Therefore, with this research we hope that in the future this research can increase literacy and knowledge to the people of Indonesia about the bromance relationship.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine the role of consumer trust in mediating website quality to the purchase intention on zilingo online shop site in Bandar Lampung. This type of research is an associative quantitative approach. The population of this study is the people domiciled in Bandar Lampung who have visited the website of the Zilingo website. Data collection techniques with a questionnaire of 100 respondents. Validity testing uses factor analysis and reliability testing using Cronbach's Alpa. The data analysis technique uses path analysis with the SPSS program. The results of the research website quality variables have a positive effect on purchase intention indirectly through trust in online shopping sites Zilingo.com in Bandar Lampung by 30% while the remaining 70% is influenced by other variables. Abstract

The research was conducted to answer how the reception or intepretation of the audience among young people towards Korean romantic drama. Romantic drama is a theme that is taken because it is sticky in human life, especially teenagers. By using qualitative methods by adopting netnography, this study found that reading of audiences can be divided into three forms, namely dominant-hegemonic, negotiating, and opposition. The dominant-hegemonic reading model is the most powerful reading model compared to other models. The dominant-hegemonic reading model is indicated by a romantic story that touches the audience's emotionality dimension. The reading of the negotiations, on the other hand, accepting romantic drama insofar as it does not involve the social class, while the reading of the opposition totally rejects Korean romantic drama as unreal.

Abstract

Puncak Mas is one of the leading tourist attractions in the city of Bandar Lampung. This can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community to come to visit Puncak Mas. The achievement of Puncak Mas in attracting public visits, was recorded at 6,000 to 7,000 on holiday weekends. This study is intended to find out how the promotion strategy carried out by the management of Puncak Mas. This study uses Muncak marine binoculars as a comparison. The data in this study were obtained by conducting interviews with the manager of Puncak Mas and a little with Muncak marine binoculars. Observations and documentation carried out for field verification. Visitors who were interviewed only to crosscheck data from interviews with managers. The results of this study found that the promotion strategy undertaken by Puncak mas was in accordance with the marketing mix concept, by combining 4 elements of P, namely product, price, place and promotions. Promotion using social media and digital media according to the demands of the times has been done by the management and owner (owner) of Puncak Mas.

Abstract

Phubbing is a phenomenon that occurs due to technological development. Unconsciously, this happens in human interactions in everyday life. This study wants to find out whether there is a relationship between cell phone addiction and social media addiction on phubbing behavior on young generation. The hypothesis proposed is the relationship between mobile addiction and social media with phubbing behavior. This research uses quantitative research methods with the type of correlational research. Research data collection is done by using the online survey method through Google forms. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling technique. The characteristics of the research subjects are the younger generation who live in Java Island, participating between 17-25 years, actively using mobile phones and social media for more than 8 hours a day. The number of samples used as research subjects were 177 participants. The results of data analysis showed the value of the conversion coefficient of (r) 0.680 with sig. 0,000 (p <0.01). The conclusion from this study is a positive relationship between mobile addiction and social media with a phubbing relationship. The higher the cell phone addiction and social media addiction, the higher the phubbing interaction. The contribution of mobile and social media addiction to phubbing behavior was 46.2%. While the remaining 53.8% is another factor not included in the study.
