Abstract

Decision    Support  System  becomes  very  important  for  the  decision  maker, especially promotion of employees. Personal assessment parameters tend to be subjective, does not result in the employee performance appraisal competency- based,  so  it  requires  the  reversal  of  performance  appraisal,  the  original  is personal and administrative manually into computerized system. With the method of profile matching the emphasis on competence assessment is on the aspects of intellectual capacity, work attitudes and behavior of employees, while for the Visual   Basic   programming    language    using   the   Net  in  2008  by  leveragingMicrosoft SQL Server 2000 as database system. The development of information technology has brought many advances and benefits that we enjoy today. It is inseparable from the development of computers that enable people to make decisions . The computer can receive and process the data into critical information needed to make decisions . One example is the decision-making in determining which placement STIKI Alumni who have graduated in accordance with the study program and its competence . Abstract

Parikesit is a company which their bussines are buy and sell rice. In terms of supplying and providing rice, the employee have to compute to gain finest quality of rice by involving criterion. Because the computation is still using manual method, so there is always a failure. And time which needed to do the computation manually, can’t be done in short time, so the time that should be used for other is only used to compute.The computation itself is a problem that involves many criterion. So, it needs a decision support system that able to support alternatives and criterions. One kind of decision support system method is analytical hierarchy process. This method is use to simplify and quicken the process of decision taking by breaking down the problems into hierarchy.Based on examination, it concluded that by using decision support system, the computation to supplying and providing rice could be easier and saves much time. information system, recording of selling, buying transaction can be done. With the existence of graphical report of source, purchasing, and sale, manager is able to watch the source, purchasing, and sale stability, also manager can use it as a decision taking helper.Key Word : Decision Support system, analitycal hierarchy process.

Abstract

PT Pattindo have a network connected to the Internet as a data transfer facility which sometimes happens density traffic. The main thing that causes traffic density is characteristic of user need. The high density of traffic causing congestion on the network. Solutions to solve the problems on the network and the traffic is monitoring efficiency of a network based on bandwidth usage. Monitoring process can be done using a bandwidth applications MRTG (Multi Router Traffic Grapher) and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). This study aims to build applications using MRTG bandwidth monitoring and SNMP. The method used in this study is the use of SNMP to load the resource (bandwidth, memory) and MRTG displays it in the form of web -based graphics. The study began by installing MRTG and SNMP on OS server and create a web interface to display it. Target setting process followed by SNMP oid for load MRTG. After it passed in the process of adding features to menampillkan process list, disk status, memory status to the web interface to facilitate the monitoring process.Keywords: monitoring, MRTG, SNMP, open source

Abstract

All this time available many manual methods those are utilized to know quality or egg chicken freshness for example utilize sunlight or flashlight for irradiates egg at dark place then see contents from egg chicken to be sorted. Same process also been done cattleman or grocer to sort chicken egg bases its quality. Utilizing manualing method to detect egg quality require time that adequately long time because detect egg chicken by piece will risk egg getting loose from hands and need so long time. The purpose of this research is for make tool detection utilizing sensor LDR (Light Dependent Resistor), LCD (Liquid Crystal Display ) and Microcontroller ATmega 8 as the processor. Performance result of this device to detect egg more or less 2 seconds/items with accuracy 87%. Abstract

Process in awarding college scholarships, to determine who is eligible to receive scholarships for students of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Madura in particular, the selection process is carried out in accordance with the rules that have been set. The criteria in this study is the index value of academic achievement (GPA), parental income, the semester, the number of dependent parent, and age. Scholarship selection committee should take a decision in accordance with the principle of a 3T, namely: Target, Right Number, and Timely, if it is done well and properly will ensure that the results can be accounted for. This decision support system was instrumental in helping the College of Engineering to take the right decision. This research aims to design and build a decision support system of determining candidate grantee using Fuzzy MADM ( Multi - Attribute Decision Making ) with the completion of the analysis of Simple Additive Weighting Method ( SAW ) and Weighted Product ( WP ) . These models have been able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives , in this case meant that alternatives are eligible to receive scholarships based on criteria determined in accordance scholarship program guidelines . Research carried out by finding the weights for each attribute . Then a ranking process that will determine the optimal alternative of each candidate grantee . The problem is to solve a particular MADM case may be difficult to determine which method is most relevant between the SAW and WP method . Abstract

Expert system is one branch of artificial intelligence that mimics the way to learn how to think an expert in solving a problem. Artificial intelligence is one of the fields of computer science which utilizes intelligent computer so that it can behave like a human. Computer science to develop software and hardware to mimic human actions. Simulated human activities such as reasoning, vision, learning, problem solving, natural language understanding, and so on. By definition, artificial intelligence technology studied in fields such as Robotics (Robotics), Computer Vision (Computer Vision), Natural Language Processing (Natural Language Processing), Pattern Recognition (Pattern Recognition), Artificial Neural Systems (Artificial Neural Systems), Introduction voice (speech recognition), and expert systems (Expert System). Application of Expert System is a software package that discusses how to diagnose diseases of the teeth. The programming language used to make the expert system application is using PHP with MySQL database. Abstract

Transportation vehicle is used by humans to carry out their activities and not infrequently regarded as a basic requirement. At this time so many types of cars from different brands and types . Each type of car has different technical specifications, and every car certainly has its advantages and disadvantages. And this, will result in the prospective car buyers find it difficult to choose the right car and according to desired criteria due to a potential buyer faced with a number of criteria, such as the price of the car, interior accessories, exterior accessories, passenger capacity, year of production, etc. This system is designed to help prospective buyers make decisions in the selection of vehicles, especially cars, so the decision was obtained in accordance with the desired criteria.  Methods used for this decision is the method TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). This research was carried out by finding the value of each of the alternatives preference and ranking process conducted which will determine the optimal alternative, ie cars that fit the criteria of the consumer. Abstract

Di Laboratorium Benih Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Jawa Timur yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Karangploso – Malang, para teknisi dalam menghitung sampel hasil penelitian biji tanaman pangan masih menggunakan cara manual dan dalam melakukan penghitungan jumlah biji tersebut seorang teknisi dituntut untuk konsentrasi penuh supaya proses penghitungannya tidak dilakukan berulang-ulang. Oleh karena menggunakan cara manual maka proses penghitungan biji tersebut memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama. Untuk komoditas padi proses penghitungannya dalam jangka waktu 1 jam hanya bisa menyelesaikan 5 malai padi, untuk komoditas jagung proses penghitungannya per 1000 butir memerlukan waktu lebih kurang lebih 30  menit, dan untuk komoditas kedelai proses penghitungan kurang lebih 3-5 menit per rumpun. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menciptakan alat penghitung sampel jumlah biji tanaman pangan (jagung dan kedelai) secara otomatis yang hasil penghitungannya ditampilkan pada LCD. Alat tersebut berbasis mikrokontroler Atmega 8535 dan sensor Optocoupler . Dengan adanya alat penghitung jumlah biji jagung dan kedelai tersebut, maka akan sangat membantu meringankan tugas para teknisi dalam menghitung sampel jumlah biji jagung dan kedelai, yang mana sebelumnya penghitungannya dilakukan secara manual. Hasil Penelitian Rancang Bangun Alat Penghitung Biji Tanaman Pangan (Jagung dan Kedelai) Sistem Pemrograman yang telah dibuat sudah berjalan dengan baik. Hai ini ditunjukkan oleh aktivitas komponen seperti sensor, LCD, LED dan Buzzer sudah dapat berfungsi dengan baik sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keakuratan dalam penjumlahan biji kedelai hanya bisa mencapai 97,3 persen, sedangkan tingkat keakuratan dalam menghitung biji jagung hanya bisa mencapai 93,9. Alat ini masih diperlukan adanya penyempurnaan, agar alat ini nantinya dapat digunakan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Kata Kunci: Alat Penghitung Biji Jagung dan Kedelai secara Otomatis, Mikrokontroler Atmega 8535, Sensor Optocoupler

Abstract

The use of computers today are not just limited to the processing and manipulation of data alone but can also be used to create application programs related to education, especially the lessons of ICT by using a recorded human voice first. The purpose of this study was to create a learning application program of ICT in an interactive and communicative-based computer so that in the learning process is expected to run in both directions. The program also aims to reduce the saturation of the students in receiving the material being taught.
