Abstract

Salah satu cara universitas untuk dapat bertahan dan bersaing adalah dengan memperhatikan citra universitas yang dimiliki oleh karyawan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan citra universitas diyakini berperan dalam kemunculan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) pada karyawan. Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian, citra berhubungan dengan kinerja, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi karyawan. Ketiga aspek tersebut berkontribusi pada munculnya OCB pada karyawan. Citra juga dapat berhubungan langsung dengan OCB dalam bentuk sikap kerja karyawan yang positif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana peranan citra universitas dalam meningkatkan OCB karyawan.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan  90 orang subjek karyawan UKRIDA. Adapun teknik penghitungan yang digunakan adalah korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penghitungan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara citra universitas dengan OCB, rxy (90) = 0.589, p = 0.000 <.05. Selain itu, seluruh dimensi pada variabel citra universitas memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan variabel OCB. Begitu pula dengan variabel citra universitas yang memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan seluruh dimensi variabel OCB. Hasil penghitungan juga menunjukkan bahwa dimensi-dimensi citra universitas memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan dimensi-dimensi OCB. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menggunakan teknik pengitungan simple linear regression untuk mengetahui peranan citra universitas terhadap OCB. Hasil penghitungan menunjukkan bahwa variabel citra universitas berperan terhadap OCB sebesar 34,6%, R2 = 0.346(1,89), p < .05.    Kata kunci: peran, citra universitas, OCB

Abstract

The aim of this study is to measure the relationship between job stres and job satisfaction using TARSQ (Teacher Attribution of Responsibility for Stres Questionnaire)  adapted from McCormick and TJSQ (Teacher Job Satisfaction Questionnaire) adapted from Lester. The participants were the teachers from private Junior High School Surakarta (SMP 3K Surakarta). There were 41 teachers involved in this study. The determinants of Job Stres that have been examined under this study include personal aspect, behavior aspect, cognitive aspect, physiology aspect, and organizational aspect. The aspect of Job satisfaction are challenging work, promotion and salary, working condition, colleagues, and leadership. Pearson Correlation analyses were used to investigate the hypothesized relationship. The result showed r = -0.392 with p = 0,011 < 0.05. There was a negative significant relationship between job stres and job satisfaction. Keywords: job stres, job satisfaction, TARSQ, TJSQ

Abstract

This study aims to describe about housemaid’s stressor and how they cope with those stressors in life. The variables in this research are work’s stress and coping style. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire which made by researcher. Reliability test with Alpha Cronbach indicates reliable value of 0,884 for work’s stress scale and 0,873 for coping style scale. The data collected from 162 respondents and the analysis data used in this research was descriptive statistics. The result showed that 33.33 percent of the subjects had a high work stress tendency, and the coping style is most often used is emotional-focused coping (51.85 percent). Keywords: stress, coping, housemaid

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the image of the group in one of the authors of acts of intimidation against intimidation of the pilot school in Jakarta. Process in the middle in this discussion group is a study of interaction between individuals within a group of attitudes and behavior of mutual influence each other as part of the group relations. This study focuses on the stages of team development model put forward by (Tuckman & Jensen). There are five basic stages of group formation, including the steps establishment stage (stage forming), (stage Storming), (stage Norm), (stage performing) and the final stage group (suspending phase) that exists in the interaction. Interconnected to form patterns that affect the process of group formation. By using a model of group development stage, it will be on explaining the various activities that occur at each stage of group formation, so it will be visible with a clear description of the stages of the process of forming groups of perpetrators of bullying in the school environment. Results of research conducted on the basis of qualitative approaches focus group discussions (FGD). The study involved a group of 10 individuals perpetrators of bullying as a subject of research. A selected group of subjects was based on the fact that they have committed acts of bullying behavior toward students class named "Ade Fauzan". Then the data were analyzed based on the theory and the results of interviews in the can. The results showed that in the process of group formation causes the perpetrators of bullying in the interaction of individuals who influence each other in groups. The results also show that the phenomenon of bullying in schools is because the system is very complex involving several aspects in it as cultural factors or traditions that have become regenerative in the school environment. Keyword:  Group Process Perpetrators of Bullying Process, Social psychology

Abstract

The aim of research was found out job stress and psychological tension as the predictor to job satisfaction people in company of Central Java. Subjects consisted of 93 people of companies in Central Java, Indonesia. A  job related tension index by Wolfe, Quinn, Snoek and Rosental (Mustapha, 1994) was used to assess job stress.  A psychological tension questionnaire by Caplan, Cobb, and French (Brief et al, 1981) used to assess psychological tension.Validity coefficient of job stress was 0,333 – 0,589 and reliabilility coefficient was 0,828; validity coefficient of psychological tension was 0,357 – 0,630 and reliability coefficient was 0,765; validity coefficient of job satisfaction was 0,302 – 0,602 and reliability coefficient was 0,808. The statistical methods used multiple regression. The result obtained R = 0.407 with F = 8,931 and p = 0,000 < 0,01; indicate that there are significant effects together of  job stress  and psychological tension as the predictor to job satisfaction. Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-maturity and forgiveness in the late adolescence. The hypothesis of this study was there is a positive correlation between self-maturity and forgiveness in the late adolescence. The population in this study were university students at UKRIDA. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling (N=108 subjects). This study used quantitative approach. The data were collected using a scale. The instruments that used in this study were forgiveness scale TRIM-18 (Transgression Related Interpersonal Motivation) and Self-Maturity scale. The data were analyzed by Pearson’s Product Moment correlation analysis. The result showed, that there is a positive relationship between self-maturity and forgiveness in late adolescence (r = 0.491; p < 0,01).Keywords: forgiveness, late adolescence, self-maturity

Abstract

 Abstrak. Universitas adalah satuan pendidikan formal yang mengelola dan menyelenggarakan pendidikan tinggi yaitu jenjang pendidikan pada jalur pendidikan formal setelah pendidikan menengah yang mencakup program diploma, program sarjana, program magister, program doktor dan program profesi serta program spesialis. Universitas harus dijalankan oleh sumber daya manusia yang baik di semua tingkatannya, dan salah satu faktor yang menunjukkan kualitas yang baik adalah komitmennya terhadap universitas. Komitmen organisasi dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, dua diantaranya yaitu masa kerja dan tingkat pendidikan formal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara masa kerja dengan tingkat pendidikan formal dengan komitmen organisasi pejabat structural universitas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik cluster non-random sampling. Sampel sebanyak 30 orang pejabat struktural di Universitas X. Peneliti membuat satu alat ukur yaitu skala komitmen organisasi. Berdasarkan penghitungan statistik, variabel komitmen organisasi dan masa kerja tidak berkorelasi secara signifikan dengan skor -0,138, begitu juga dengan variabel tingkat pendidikan formal dengan skor p = 0,755. Tingkat komitmen organisasi pejabat struktural berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa faktor lain yang memengaruhi komitmen organisasi pejabat struktural antara lain budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan transformasional dan etos kerja. Kata kunci: komitmen organisasi, masa kerja, pejabat structural, tingkat pendidikan formal,

Abstract

AbstrakTrend perkembangan karier dalam dekade terakhir mengalami banyak perubahan. Perubahan tersebut mempengaruhi sikap dan cara seseorang merencanakan dan mengambil keputusan kariernya. Dalam konteks Indonesia, Asean Free Trade Area (AFTA) akan mulai diberlakukan pada tahun 2015. Selain itu, pada tahun 2010 sampai 2035 Indonesia akan mengalami bonus demografi yang ditandai banyaknya jumlah angkatan kerja produktif dalam kurun waktu tersebut. Menghadapi trend perkembangan karier, pemberlakukan AFTA dan bonus demografi sekaligus, diperlukan suatu pemahaman baru mengenai konsep karier termutakhir yang sesuai dengan perkembangan karier saat ini, yaitu adaptabilitas karier yang dikemukakan oleh Mark Savickas. Tinjauan ini akan membahas mengenai konsep adaptabilitas karier, dimensi-dimensi dari adaptabilitas karier, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adaptabilitas karier dan alat ukur adaptabiltas karier. Kata kunci : adpatabilitas karier, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adaptabilitas karier, dimensi adaptabilitas karier, alat ukur adaptabilitas karier.

Abstract

AbstrakCancer was stated as one of the most dangerous ill in the world. Patients who suffered cancer have an unique expereince that affecting their psychological,social and emotional aspect as well as the physical aspect.  The aim of this research  was to explore and to describe how teenage patient who suffered cancer dealing with it using illness representation framework. This was a qualitative approach using case study with two subjects who suffered blood and joints cancer. The result showed that subject with good understanding of their illness able to represent his/ her illness well through his/ her hope, spirit and positive thinking.  Kata kunci : Illness representation, teenager, cancer.

Abstract

Abstract. Attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior is the tendency of perception and reaction to the feeling that support an action that is based on the inner urge to achieve sexual satisfaction in unmarried, illegal, circumstances. Premarital sexual behavior can be controlled by the presence of social control and religious behavior. In addition, conformity is another factor. This study aimed to review the role of religious behavior and conformity to predict adolescences’ attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior in Jakarta by using a quantitative approach. The samples in this study were teenagers in South Jakarta, with cluster random sampling as a technique. For measurement this study used the scale of attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior, religiosity scale, and the scale of conformity. The results showed that religiosity and conformity can predict attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior (R = 0.534) with the value (F= 36.293) and significance (p = ≤ .01). Contributions made by religiosity and conformity in predicting attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior amounted to 27.7%, while 72.3% attitudes toward premarital sexual behavior predicted by other variables outside of this research.Keywords: attitudes toward premarital, adolescents, conformity, religiosity, unmarried sexual behavior Â
