Abstract

Abstract: The observations indicate that the level of reading comprehension grade students of SDN 01 Putat Kidul Gondanglegi District Malang Regency still low. This study aimed to describe the use of newspapers in improving students’ reading comprehension class V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Gondanglegi and describing the use of learning resources newspapers in improving students’ reading comprehension class V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Gondanglegi. This type of research is a classroom action research, while the data analysis in this study uses three ways, namely, data reduction, exposure data, and inference data. Subjects were students of class V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Gondanglegi District Malang Regency with the number of 23 students. The results showed that students’ reading comprehension with the intensity of use of the newspaper as a learning resource in class V SDN Putat Kidul Gondanglegi District 01 has increased from an average value of 79 in the first cycle and 87 in the second cycle. Completeness of classical study in the first cycle is 70% and at the end of the second cycle was 100%. Keywords: reading comprehension ability, intensity of use of newspapers Abstrak: Hasil observasi menunujukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Kecamatan Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan penggunaan surat kabar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Gondanglegi dan mendiskripsikan penggunaan sumber belajar surat kabar dalam meningkatkan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Gondanglegi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sedangkan Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga cara, yaitu reduksi data, paparan data, dan penyimpulan data. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Kecamatan Gondanglegi Kabupaten Malang dengan jumlah 23 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa dengan intensitas menggunakan surat kabar sebagai sumber belajar di kelas V SDN Putat Kidul 01 Kecamatan Gondanglegi mengalami peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata 79 pada siklus I dan 87 pada siklus II. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus I adalah 70 % dan pada akhir siklus II adalah 100%. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan membaca pemahaman, intensitas penggunaan surat kabar

Abstract

At the age of elementary school children still view an object into a unified whole (Holistic). Along with the development of the era that began to enter the curriculum of 2013 in which the learning has been centered on thematic learning. In thematic learning process is very concerned about the level of thinking of students who still look at something is one part intact. The purpose of this research can be formulated as follows: Knowing the implementation of thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences in elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, describe the constraints experienced by teachers in implementing thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences in elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, and describe the way teachers overcome the constraints of implementation Thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences at elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. The research method used include (1) design, (2) research type, (3) implementation of research, (4) research instrument, (5) data analysis. Descriptive research is one type of qualitative research, namely research based on natural data in the form of words in describing the object under study through the activities of collecting data from a natural setting. Data collection in this research is done by observation, interview and documentation. To collect the data, this research uses the instrument in the form of observation sheet of teacher and student, interview guide. Data analysis is done descriptively both qualitatively and quantitatively. In the linguistic intelligence of teachers in elementary school Muhammadiyah 9 Malang is more likely to facilitate students with writing, discussing, sitting in groups. In the logical math intelligence of the average teacher of the initial class by asking students to come forward with a concrete object. The visual-spatial intelligence of teachers develops them using images, poster images and audio visuals, while for improving kinesthetic intelligence by inviting learners to pat, hand movements or experiment with foot activities. In musical intelligence teachers tend to use memorizing short letters tilawati songs. In the development of interpersonal intelligence teachers more often ask students who are more able or understand to help their friends who can not. Development of intrapersonal intelligence with teachers allows students to learn on their own. In the naturalist intelligence teachers are more likely to tell the activities associated with nature. Constraints faced by teachers while implementing thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences are difficult teachers to develop eight intelligences at a time. How to overcome the obstacles in thematic learning oriented to Multiple Intelligences that is by solving the materials in accordance with the level of Multiple Intelligences. Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to: (1) develop an interactive multimedia as learningmedia of social studies for fifth grade students with the materials of events aroundproclamation; and (2) find the product eligibility from the aspect of material, appearance,and attractiveness for the learning of elementary school social studies. The research wasconducted through several stages. The first stage was introduction that included librarystudy and field study. The second stage was development that included initial productplanning and development. The third stage was field testing that included preliminary fieldtest, main field test and operational field test. The results of validation conducted by mediaexpert and material expert showed that the eligibility of learning multimedia for socialstudies on the aspect of media was 4.23 (very good) and the eligibility of learningmultimedia for social studies on the aspect of material was 4.26 (very good). The results offield testing showed that the students’ response toward the multimedia eligibility was 4.08(very good). These results showed that the learning multimedia for social studies waseligible to be implemented in the learning activities and might become an alternative ofsocial studies learning resource especially for the fifth grade students with materials ofevents around proclamation. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan multimedia interaktif sebagaimedia pembelajaran IPS kelas V dengan materi peristiwa sekitar proklamasi dan (2)mengetahui kelayakan produk dari aspek materi, aspek tampilan dan aspek kemenarikanuntuk pembelajaran IPS SD. Dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, tahap pertama adalahpendahuluan yang meliputi studi pustaka dan studi lapangan, tahap kedua pengembangan yang meliputi perencanaan dan pengembangan produk awal. Tahap ketiga uji lapanganmeliputi uji coba preliminary field test, main field test dan operational field test. Hasilvalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan multimediapembelajaran IPS pada aspek media sebesar 4,23 (sangat baik) dan kelayakan pada aspekmateri sebesar 4,26 (sangat baik). Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukan bahwa tanggapansiswa terhadap kelayakan multimedia dengan rerata skor 4,08 (baik). Hasil tersebutmenunjukkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran IPS yang dikembangkan layak digunakandalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan menjadi alternatif sumber belajar IPS khususnya siswakelas V dengan materi peristiwa sekitar proklamasi.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is (1) Produce teaching material thematically based guided inquiry (guided Inquiry) for the fourth grade students of elementary school, (2) Determine the level of validity, keterterapan, and the effectiveness of teaching materials thematically based guided inquiry (guided Inquiry) for graders IV Elementary School. The development model used in this study is a model developed by Borg & Gall. The thematic material in this reseach is able to solve the problems of the material used by the teacher of the class IV SDN Sokosari 1 Tuban, as the material relevant to students' characteristics, and in accordance with the living conditions of class IV SDN Sokosari 1 Tuban. Product material thematic form module thematic developed in compliance component as the material is good, so that the material this thematic can fill the availability and increasing the diversity of learning resources, particularly in the fourth grade SDN Sokosari 1 Tuban for use in the process of learning by teachers and students independent. Key words: thematic material, guided inquiry, elementary school Abstrak: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Menghasilkan bahan ajar tematik berbasis inkuiri terbimbing (guided Inquiry) untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, (2) Mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, keterterapan, dan efektifitas bahan ajar tematik berbasis inkuiri terbimbing (guided Inquiry) untuk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Bahan ajar tematik mampu memecahkan permasalahan bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh guru kelas IV SDN Sokosari 1 Tuban, sebagai bahan ajar yang relevan dengan karakteristik siswa, dan sesuai dengan kondisi tempat tinggal siswa kelas IV SDN Sokosari 1 Tuban. Produk bahan ajar tematik yang berupa modul tematik yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi komponen sebagai bahan ajar yang baik, sehingga bahan ajar tematik ini dapat mengisi ketersediaan dan menambah keragaman sumber belajar khususnya di kelas IV SDN Sokosari 1 Tuban untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran oleh guru dan siswa secara mandiri. Abstract

Abstract: Found the problem that science teaching in class V SDN Pringapus 2 Trenggalek still centered on the teacher, this adversely affects the activity and student learning outcomes in science subjects. The research was conducted with the aim to describe the application of the model PBL, student activity when applied to the model PBL, and student learning outcomes after application of PBL models. This study design was used classroom action research conducted by two cycles, with the subject of fifth grade students of SDN Pringapus 2 Trenggalek. The results showed that the application of the model PBL can improve pembelajran IPA, basic competence "describes the simple plane that can make the job easier and faster" SDN Pringapus 2 Subdistrict Dongko Trenggalek. It is recommended that teachers apply the model of PBL in science learning. Keywords: Model Problem Based Learning (PBL), Learning science.   Abstrak : Ditemukan masalah bahwa pembelajaran IPA di kelas V SDNPringapus 2 Kabupaten Trenggalek masih berpusat pada guru, hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model PBL, aktivitas siswa ketika diterapkan model PBL, dan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model PBL. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dua siklus, dengan latar kelas V SDN Pringapus 2 Kabupaten Trenggalek.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL dapat meningkatkan pembelajran IPA, kompetensi dasar “menjelaskan pesawat sederhana yang dapat membuat pekerjaan lebih mudah dan cepat” SDN Pringapus 2 Kecamatan Dongko Kabupaten Trenggalek.Untuk itu disarankan agar guru menerapkan model PBL dalam pembelajaran IPA.   Kata kunci: Model Problem Based Learning (PBL), Pembelajaran IPA

Abstract

Indonesia membutuhkan lebih banyak pengusaha untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pendapatan per kapita sebagaimana negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat dan Jepang. Salah satu upayanya dengan meningkatkan pengusaha melalui pendidikan kewirausahaan sejak dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari cara untuk menginternalisasi sifat-sifat pengusaha kepada siswa kelas 3 SDN Kareng Kidul, Kecamatan Wonomerto, Kabupaten Probolinggo dengan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan pemahaman kewirausahaan dan peningkatan jumlah anak yang terinternalisasi sifat-sifat pengusaha melalui model pembelajaran PjBL sampai ada tataran siswa mengubah cita-citanya menjadi pengusaha

Abstract

The objective of the study is to describe the form of learning communication in the classroom and the meaning of the students to the learning communication on verbal, non-verbal, interpersonal, group, and public communication. The research used qualitative approach with phenomenology study design. The result of the research is the expression of thoughts and feelings of students to verbal communication is easy to understand the material and dare to ask. The expression of students' thoughts and feelings toward non-verbal communication is fear when teachers speak with high intonation, but students feel happy and feel loved by the teacher's touch. Expression of thoughts and feelings of students to interpersonal communication is a feeling of fun when teachers ask news, the state of self, health, birthday celebrations, and attention when experiencing bullying. Expression of thoughts and feelings of students to group communication is a feeling of fun when learning groups, feelings of freedom to discuss and ask the task personally to the teacher and discipline when grouping students who are busy in the classroom to be advised teachers. Expression of thoughts and feelings of students to public communication is easy to understand the subject matter and feelings of pleasure when inserted humor in the lecture method. Abstract

Abstract: The function and role of the teacher as facilitator and motivator has enormous influence in improving activity and student learning outcomes. The teacher's role in the selection of models, approaches, strategies, techniques and tactics appropriate learning is crucial to the success of student learning. In general, the class V student learning outcomes is still low, less learning activities, passive learning. The average value of the class in the previous KD unsatisfactory at only 62. To overcome these researchers chose Quamtum Teaching learning model which is famous for the term T-A-N-D-N-R. The purpose of this research is to increase the activity and results of learning mathematics in students through a learning model Quamtum Teaching with props Spectra Unit .. While the benefits to be obtained from this study is that this method is expected to increase the activity and student learning outcomes, can be an alternative learning methods in the classroom and learning innovation developmentThis research is a classroom action research, which is conducted independently. The subjects were 45 students of class V in Betet 3 district. Pesantren - Kediri. The study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings with the allocation of time for each meeting is 2 x 35 minutes. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. Observation guide used every learning took place, questionnaires and tests used each cycle ends. Interview guides used at the end of the second cycle and field notes made every learning takes place.Based on the research results, we concluded that the implementation of learning mathematics by using T-A-N-D-u-R (Quantum Teaching) with props "Spectrum" has increased. This is indicated by: (1) Data from observation of learning activities of students has increased from the first cycle to the second cycle dari58,86 to 78 with a high category. (2) average the results of the test cycle that achieve mastery increased, average -rata in the first cycle of 71% increased to 97.7% in the second cycle. (3) From the interviews obtained information that in general students are motivated to learn. Based on data from the observation of the motivation, the result data motivation questionnaire, the average results of the test cycle, and interviews can be concluded that students' motivation increased after learning using T-A-N-D-u-R (Quantum Teaching) with props "Spectrum Unit" Keywords: Learning Activities, Results Learning, Teaching Quamtum, Spectra Unit. Abstrak: Fungsi dan peran guru sebagai fasilitator dan motivator memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam upaya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Peran guru dalam pemilihan model, pendekatan, strategi, teknik dan taktik pembelajaran yang sesuai sangat menentukan terhadap keberhasilan proses belajar siswa. Secara umum hasil belajar siswa kelas V masih rendah, aktivitas belajar kurang, pasif dalam pembelajaran. Nilai rata-rata kelas pada KD sebelumnya kurang memuaskan yaitu hanya 62. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut peneliti memilih model  pembelajaran Quamtum Teaching yang terkenal dengan istilah T-A-N-D-U-R. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar Matematika  pada siswa melalui model  pembelajaran Quamtum Teaching dengan alat peraga Spektrum Satuan .. Sedangkan manfaat yang ingin diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah metode ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa, dapat menjadi alternatif metode pembelajaran di kelas dan pengembangan inovasi pembelajaranPenelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang dilaksanakan secara mandiri. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 45 siswa kelas V di Betet 3 Kec. Pesantren – Kota Kediri . Penelitian terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan dengan alokasi waktu untuk masing-masing pertemuan adalah 2 x 35 menit. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi,  dan tes. Pedoman observasi digunakan setiap pembelajaran berlangsung, angket dan tes digunakan setiap siklus berakhir. Pedoman wawancara digunakan pada  akhir siklus kedua dan catatan lapangan dibuat setiap pembelajaran berlangsung.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan metode T-A-N-D-U-R  (Quantum Teaching) dengan alat peraga “Spektrum” mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan: (1) Data hasil observasi aktivitas  belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II dari58,86 menjadi 78 dengan kategori tinggi. (2) Rata-rata hasil tes siklus yang mencapai ketuntasan mengalami peningkatan, rata -rata pada siklus I yaitu 71% meningkat menjadi 97,7% pada siklus II. (3) Dari hasil wawancara diperoleh keterangan bahwa secara umum siswa termotivasi dalam belajar. Berdasarkan data hasil observasi motivasi, data hasil angket motivasi, rata-rata hasil tes siklus, dan hasil wawancara dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa meningkat setelah belajar menggunakan metode T-A-N-D-U-R  (Quantum Teaching) dengan alat peraga “Spektrum Satuan “ Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Quamtum Teaching,                      Spektrum  Satuan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a learning package for Sciences Subject that can improve the critical thinking skill of the Elementary School Students. Therefore, in general, it can be categorized into a research and development. It can be done because of learning material with process skill to practice it not available. The learning package was developed by using 4-D model; defining, designing, developing, distributing. The subject in this study was learning material that will be tested in student of SDN Karang Tengah 5 Ngawi. The result showed that learning material was valid, enforceability get good category with 100%. Student activites by using process get good too. The improvement of students’ critical thinking is consistent on 2 classes (IVA and IVB), the significant and high improvement with the average of N-Gain of 0,75. Based on the results and findings of the research, it can be concluded that the developed learning package can be stated as a valid, practical, and effective learning package. The implication of the research is that the process skill based Sciences learning can improve students’ critical thinking skill. Keywords : Problem Based Learning, Science, Critical Thinking

Abstract: This research background is based on conventional teaching activity of social studies where teacher explains material with speech method without using anyinteresting media for attracting student’s attention. Students just write teacher’sexplanation and are not active in the teaching and learning activities. This way ofteaching makes students feel bored, do not pay attention of teacher’s explanation andbecome easy forgetting the material. This way of teaching also decreases student’sscore in social science. So, it needs a problem solving by using a teaching medianamed “ Smart Tree “. The goal of this research is investigating the activity of teacher,student’s level of activity, student’s score of social studies before and after implement“ Smart Tree “ game, and problem arising during teaching learning process. Thisresearch uses classroom action research. The subject of this research are 24 fifthgraders of SDI Al Hadad Singgahan Tuban. The instrument of collecting data useobservation, test and interview. In teaching learning process the score of teacher’sactivities increases from 70% in first cycle, 85,83% in second cycle, and 95,83% inthird cycle. Then the score of student’s activities increases from 66,80% in first cycle,72,77% in second cycle, and 87,50% in third cycle. Furthermore, the score of studentsstudying increases from 33,33% in the first observation, 70,83% in first cycle, 83,33%in second cycle, and 87,50% in third cycle. From the result, we can conclude that “smart tree “ game in teaching social studies can improve student’s score in fifth gradeof SDI Al Hadad Singgahan Tuban.
