Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore commodification aspect of inclusive Islamic  education. The commodification approach is adapted. Data search used interviews, questionnaires, observation,  focus group discussion with a pattern of triangulation. The results show that Inclusif Islamic Education in Islamic  primary school Cahaya Ilmu  Semarang include six important commodification point. There are first: The model of admissions system of new student involves professional psychologist observation; second : The attitude of teachers in communication clearly flexible depend on student character; third : Creative Curriculum based on Islamic religious value; fourth : Shadow Teacher Assistance was provided by school management to inclusion services; fifth: media learning is designed based on principled learning on equality and convenience for all students; and the sixth: Parenting Programs held by school as a way of presenting the religious family harmony in School.   Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi aspek komodifikasi pendidikan Islam inklusif. Pendekatan peneltian menggunakan teori komodifikasi. Pencarian data menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner, observasi, diskusi kelompok fokus dengan pola triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan inklusif di sekolah dasar Islam Cahaya Ilmu Semarang meliputi enam hal komodifikasi penting. Pertama : Model sistem penerimaan siswa baru melibatkan pengamatan psikolog profesional; kedua: Sikap guru dalam komunikasi yang fleksibel bergantung pada karakter siswa; ketiga: Kurikulum Kreatif berdasarkan nilai agama Islam; keempat: Bantuan Guru shadow disediakan oleh manajemen sekolah untuk layanan inklusi; kelima: media pembelajaran dirancang berdasarkan pembelajaran berprinsip pada kesetaraan dan kenyamanan bagi semua siswa; dan yang keenam: Program parenting  yang diselenggarakan sekolah sebagai cara menghadirkan kehangatan keluarga agamis di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstrack INTERNALIZATION OF VALUES ISLAMIC EDUCATION MERON TRADITION The purpose of this study was to determine the process of internalizing the values of Islamic Education in the tradition of Meron. The type of research in this paper is field research, using a qualitative research approach, the methods used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the process of internalizing the values of Islamic religious education through Meron Tradition can be done through a phased approach process based on the psychological development of society. The stages of planting the values of Islamic religious education can be through habituation, direct experience, exemplary, and stories. While the educational values contained in the Meron tradition celebration in the perspective of Islamic education are 1) Obeying the leader, 2) maintaining shared welfare, and 3) Having a tolerance attitude.            Keynote: Internalization of Values, Islamic education, meron traditionAbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses internalisasi  nilai-nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam pada tradisi Meron. Jenis penelitian dalam tulisan ini adalah penelitian lapangan, dengan menggunakan  pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, metode yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan  dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam melalui Tradisi Meron bisa dilakukan melalui proses pendekatan bertahap berdasarkan perkembangan psikologis masyarakat. Tahapan penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan agama Islam dapat melalui pembiasaan, pengalaman langsung, keteladanan, dan kisah. Sedangkan nilai-nilai edukatif yang terkandung dalam perayaan tradisi Meron dalam prespektif pendidikan Agama Islam yakni 1) Menaati pemimpin, 2) memelihara kesejahteraan bersama, dan 3) Memiliki sikap toleransi.Kata Kunci: internalisasi nilai, pendidikan agama islam, tradisi meron

Abstract

Ma'had Al-Zaytun Indramayu is one of the pesantren that seeks to integrate modernity and Islamic values. Innovation and modernization in Ma'had Al-Zaytun then manifest in an uninterrupted system of education in the implementation of formal education which became known as the One-Pipe Education System. This study uses a case study method of a pesantren named Ma'had Al-Zaytun to analyze in depth the meeting between modernity and the religious sciences embodied in a pipe education system combined with the theory of social movement to see the leadership, ideology and ways of mobilizing their santri. It is also to see how the Sheikh Ma'had frames Islamic teachings combined with modernity in attracting sympathy and community participation. The results show that one pipe education system in Ma’had Al-Zaytun Indramayu is proved not only to bring santri to be modern and a qualified intelectual but also instilling national values, peace and tolerance. All of that will lead to the realization of santri become a muslim kaffah.

Abstract

Abstract Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) in Yogyakarta is faced with political and academic and even theological dilemmas. On the one hand, PIAUD is required by the community to conduct reading, writing and numeracy (Calistung) reading, including Read Al-Qur'an (BTAQ), but on the other hand the Directorate General (Dirjen) of PAUD prohibits it. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of learning calistung and BTAQ in Yogyakarta in the study of neuroscience, both from the side of teachers, students, learning materials, strategy and evauasi. This research was conducted throughout 2017 involving nine PIAUD institutions in Yogyakarta. The research approach used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation and documentation. The collected data are analyzed descriptively, interpretatively, and comparative based on neuroscience learning theories. The results showed that PIAUD in Yogyakarta can be placed into three, namely PIAUD robotik, academic and scientific. PIAUD robotik is PIAUD at risk of damaging the brains of children for doing the malls of learning practices (calistung & BTAQ). Academic early childhood is PIAUD risky membonsai brain of children because all learning activities only oriented to the mastery of calistung and memorizing Alqur'an. PIAUD Scientific is PIAUD oriented to the optimization of brain potential of children, because all learning activities are structured based on the characteristics of development and workings of the child's brain. Abstrak Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) di Yogyakarta dihadapkan pada dilema politis dan akademis bahkan teologis. Di satu sisi PIAUD dituntut masyarakat untuk menyelenggarkan pemebelajaran membaca, menulis dan berhitung (Calistung), termasuk Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTAQ) namun di sisi lain Direktorat Jenderal (Dirjen) PAUD melarangnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan tipe-tipe pembelajaran calistung dan BTAQ di Yogyakarta dalam kajian neurosains, baik dari sisi guru, siswa, materi pembelajaran, strategi dan evauasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sepanjang tahun 2017 dengan melibatkan sembilan lembaga PIAUD di Yogyakarta. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data-data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif, interpretatif, dan komparatif berlandaskan teori-teori pembelajaran neurosains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PIAUD di Yogyakarta dapat dipetakkan menjadi tiga, yakni PIAUD robotik, akademik dan saintifik. PIAUD robotik adalah PIAUD yang beresiko merusak otak anak karena melakukan mal praktik pembelajaran (calistung & BTAQ). PAUD akademik adalah PIAUD yang beresiko membonsai otak anak karena semua kegiatan pembelajaran hanya diorientasikan pada penguasaan calistung dan hafalan Alqur’an. PIAUD Saintifik adalah PIAUD yang berorientasi pada optimalisasi potensi otak anak, karena semua kegiatan pembelajaran disusun berdasarkan karakteristik perkembangan dan cara kerja otak anak.

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the institutional profile at the Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School, Bandung in implementing Islamic education. This study employed a qualitative approach and descriptive method. In this study, the researchers acted as the instrument. The techniques of collecting the data were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Then, the techniques of analyzing the data covered data reduction, data display, coding, and drawing conclusions. In order to test the validity of the data, the researchers conducted a credibility test by conducting research persistence, triangulation, adding references, and member check. Based on the results of the study, the vision, mission and objectives of Islamic education in this Islamic boarding school are to integrate the life of the world and the hereafter. The education curriculum in this Islamic boarding school consists of the syllabus programs and non-syllabus programs. In addition, the teachers also have different scientific chain of narration or sanad, the majority of students are university students, and the education staff consists of the boarding school administrators and students or santri. In relation to the infrastructure, it is quite complete and the education evaluation is also quite comprehensive. The Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School, Bandung is considered as a boarding school that is capable of carrying out Islamic education because it is equipped with the adequate educational components.

Abstract

Islam was originally used as a living joint manifested in the customs of the Acehnese people who then switched to following the system of government that resulted in the decline of the religious adaptation of Islam. Shifting of Islamic values to Syari'ah enforcement regions resulted in conflict. Aceh is able to rise to prioritize the syari'ah of Islam to be a mecca in the case and make a custom in life. Gayo which is one of the areas in Aceh to develop the Aceh Gayo Traditional Assembly so that the value of Islam and customs in line in educating the community into a khalifah. This paper reviews the concept of MAANGo in preparing a dignified society on the aspects of life in Islamic and customary hasanah law. and to know the results of institutional tasks in educating people based on Islamic and customary law. MAANGo as an institution in tradition establishing  by breathing Shari'ah in accordance with the condition of the region that prioritizes Islamic values. The concept in dealing with the behavior of society that in fact is changing is by making education as the front guard to doctrine mindset and behavior according to custom syariat through the field of customary law, the field of assessment, education and development, conserving library or guidance of customs and empowerment of women. The result in carrying out the mandate as an tradition institution to build the smoothness of government duties, conservation of customary law values and to maintain harmony in social matters.

Abstract

The services of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia must be able to adjust to the demands and needs of the surrounding environment, including in the current context of 21st century skills, so that the institution can remain competitive and survive in the era of globalization. Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif (MIM) Ngipik and MIM Dondong in Kulonprogo District Special Province of Yogyakarta are some Islamic educational institutions in the formal education path that has been trying to cultivate 21st century skills especially critical thinking skills. This article aims to reveal about how to learn critical thinking (CT) in MIM Ngipik and MIM Dondong as well as what critical thinking skills are successfully grown in learning in the madrasah. This research uses qualitative paradigm and case study method. The results of this study indicate that critical thinking learning (CTL) is done by multi-method learning and classroom management varied. The critical thinking skills of students that can be grown are: able to ask questions that match the topic discussed, began to be able to collect relevant information; begin to learn to act efficiently and creatively based on information in teacher guidance; can put forward quite a logical argument based on factual information in teacher guidance, can take credible conclusions with group work and in teacher guidance, and begin to be able to think analysis on differentiating cognitive processes.

Abstract

Gunung Kemukus is one of the most sacred regions in Sragen, Central Java. In that area, there is tomb of Pangeran Samudera who is known as an Islamic disseminator of Majapahit descent who received religious guidance from Sunan Kalijaga. However, the spiritual sacredness is damaged by the practice of rituals of self enrichment with committing seven times of sexual adultery rituals on Jumat Pon. Ironically, this practice was responded to fairly by the community that knows the religion values well. This condition is caused by the mindset formed so that the grave pilgrimage ritual followed by the practice of prostitution is a legitimate activity and does not conflict with social and religious norms. This research examined more about how the reconstruction of Islamic education held in the region so that the later generation has begun to change their mindset in response to the rituals on Gunung Kemukus. It is expected that this Islamic education model will support the policy of Sragen Regency government that tries to control the tourist sites of Gunung Kemukus which are often used as prostitution locations covered by grave pilgrimages and self enrichment rituals.

Abstract

Besides known as the father of the nation, KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim is also known as a young scholar who pioneered the renewal of the education system, especially in pesantren. There are three things that AWH did in reforming the pesantren education system, is: renewal in teaching methodology, improving the quality of human resources for santri, as well as reforms in institutional and curricular areas. The text below explains the various breakthroughs done by Gus Dur's father. style of educational innovation, namely: 1) Getting familiar with modern methodology; 2) Increasingly oriented towards functional education, ie open to development outside of itself; 3) Diversification of programs and activities more open and dependent with kiai is not absolute, and at the same time can equip students with various knowledge outside of religion lesson or skill that needed work world; and 4) Can serve as a community development center.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilandasi pada kebijakan Kementerian Agama RI bahwa Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) tak terkecuali UIN Mataram harus mampu menjawab persoalan-persoalan yang dihadapi dalam tataran yang lebih esensil dan substantif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana mengembangkan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berwawasan Kebangsaan dan Ekonomi Ummat di UIN Mataram; untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berwawasan Kebangsaan dan Ekonomi Ummat yang digunakan di UIN Mataram; dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berwawasan Kebangsaan dan Ekonomi Ummat di UIN Mataram. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan menurut Borg & Gall adalah suatu proses yang dipakai untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi produk pendidikan; yaitu suatu model pengembangan berbasis industri, yang temuan-temuannya dipakai untuk mendesain produk dan prosedur, yang kemudian secara sistematis dilakukan uji lapangan, dievaluasi, disempurnakan untuk memenuhi kriteria keefektifan, kualitas, dan standar tertentu. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berwawasan Kebangsaan dan Ekonomi Ummat di UIN Mataram sebagai komitmen konstitusional dalam UUD 1945 Bab XIII Pasal 31. Pada butir (3) menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah mengamanatkan pentingnya Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa; dan butir (5), bahwa Pendidikan Agama Islam hendaknya memiliki wawasan kebangsaan dan kesejahteraan ekonomi umat manusia; Kelayakan model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berwawasan Kebangsaan dan Ekonomi Ummat di UIN Mataram, mengacu model Borg & Gall; Kelayakan model ini karena menggunakan pendekatan sistem dengan langkah-langkah yang lengkap, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk merancang buku ajar yang sifatnya lebih memperlihatkan prosedur dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, dimana setiap langkah dalam model ini menunjukkan hubungan yang jelas dan tidak terputus antara langkah satu dengan lainnya, atau sistem dalam model ini sangat ringkas, namun isinya padat dan jelas dari satu urutan keurutan berikutnya; dan dalam mengidentifikasi tujuan pengajaran dalam model ini sangat sesuai dengan kurikulum pada Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri; Implementasi model pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berwawasan Kebangsaan dan Ekonomi Ummat di UIN Mataram mengacu pada penyempurnaan mulai dari draf I uji ahli isi, buku ajar memperoleh nilai 92,43 % (Sangat Baik), draf II uji ahli rancangan buku ajar memperoleh nilai 91,66% (Sangat Baik), dan ahli rancangan pembelajaran nilai 90 % (Sangat Baik), draf III uji coba kelompok kecil terhadap buku ajar nilai 83,66 % (Baik), draf IV uji lapangan terhadap buku ajar nilai 83,19 % (Baik). Implementasinya secara konsisten dengan mencermati hasil-hasil penilaian yang diberikan baik oleh ahli isi dan ahli desain buku ajar, serta uji coba lapangan.
