Abstract

Abstract: This article describes the advantages and the examples of song tosupport English language learning process. Moreover, this article explains theposition of English language in Indonesia and the characteristic of childrenas foreign language learners. Children have unique characteristics that couldbe employed for the supporting factors and disadvantaging factors of foreignlanguage learning process. They need to move and be able to concentrate for ashort term, learn through experiences, have less ability to control and plan theiractivities, not fear to do some mistakes or take risks, not really pay attention totheir shelves or their actions, pay attention to the language purpose, and posseslimited experiences in their lives. Songs are learning resources that have so manyadvantages, including linguistics resource, affective/psychological resource, andcognitive resource. Songs can be good learning sources as teaching media forEnglish language class.

Abstract

Abstract: Learning style is a characteristic cognitive, affective and psychomotorbehavior, which acts as an indicator of relative stability for the learners feelinginterconnected and reacting to the learning environment. Learning style refersto the preferred way of learning learners. Generally, it is considered that aperson’s learning style is derived from personality variables, including cognitiveand psychological composition of the socio-cultural background, education andexperience. Diversity of learning styles of students need to firstly consider anyinstitution that they will join in. Almost all students (kindergarten) has a mixof learning styles, very few children who have only one learning style. Learningstyle is a mix of learning styles which children sometimes type at once visual andauditory or kinesthetic as well, or just a kinesthetic and visual. Key Words: kindergarten, learning styles

Abstract

Abstract: This study used a qualitative approach, to describe the (1) curriculumpolicy planning charged practices in Islamic learning, (2) form of charged practicecurriculum in the learning of Islam, (3) curriculum implementation and evaluationin Islamic learning. Research results: (1) There are 63 subjects containing 155credits in Islamic Religious Education at Tarbiyah Department of Kudus IslamicState College of Islam have clearly been prepared their practicums, at leastthere are eight practicums, including: Arabic, English, worship, information andtechnology, research, profession/micro teaching, field professional practicums,and real practice (KKN). The eighth subjects arenamed practicum courses, (2)in addition, there are 20charged forms of the practice course, 24 other regularsubjects, but have a lab charge, and of the twenty- four, decent into practicumcourses are statistics, both descriptive and inferential, (3) the implementation oflearning to eight practicum courses, offered in sequence from the first half to eightsemesters, charged by evaluating the curriculum refers to the practice of learning and evaluation system. Passing valuation of each subject is specified minimum value of 2.00, except Field Professional Practice (PPL) that must reach a minimumvalue of 3.49 Keywords: Management, Islamic Religious Practicum

Abstract

Abstract: Children use language for social purposes so that teachers plan teachingactivities in the social component, such as classroom writing activities. The conceptof children’s language reflects the culture of their home community, so that theteachers must respect students’ language and appreciate the cultural differencesin their attitudes towards learning in general and learning language arts. Childrenlearn to read and write through the mastery of skills gradually. Their languagelearning is influenced by art learning where the language is given. Learningprograms should not be interpreted as any activity or material, but on the contrary,the teachers design the learning and teaching strategies form based on how thechildren learn. The approach used is cognitive learning theory, psycholinguisticsand sociolinguistics. In addition, it is in line with constructivist or cognitive. Keywords: language art, reading, skill, writing

Abstract

Abstract: There is still an urgent figure of RA Kartini reviewed and used asa historical reference. It is interesting to know the background of her familysituation, social, and religious conditions of RA Kartini during her lifetime so thatall make her to be the ideal figure, a woman whose had strong spirit at her time,dynamic, and be independent, high intellectual, modern -minded, also had socialsensitivity and a spirit of nationalism and a sense of God. Due to her thought andstruggle, she labels as an Indonesian women movement pioneer, an intellectual, aneducator, a journalist, and a social worker. RA Kartini’s biography shows a lot of factors that affect their lives, including herthoughts. By analyzing her historical life, there are some character building factorsthat can be uploaded in children education nowadays, namely: strong, smart, andreligious. Critical social character, educator character, and social character witha progressive vision are what began to disappear in today children education. RAKartini’s character building can be used as a reference for Indonesian to build astrong and visionary one, that can be started from the base of Raudhotul Atfal Teacher Education (PGRA).

Abstract: One that perpetuates gender inequality is education at various levels.Then break ing the early gender bias chain through gender responsive learningat Pre-school (PAUD) on the agenda are not inevitable. Manipulating genderresponsive learning can be taught in two aspects: teaching materials and teachinglearningprocess.The subject matter development is done by inserting a genderquality message into the subject matter. Abstract: Analysis of learning development at the level of Raudlatul Athfal (RA)gives the feel of a dialogical existence as a base for Islamic education reunited withthe latest educational globalized reality. Learning patterns that will be applied atRA level are necessarily exposed to the offred curriculum systematization. Would itoffer a foothold to the scienctific dichotomy or integrating aspects? Both of theserealities became the basis for explaining the essential scientific development in RAlevel. Philosophical principles in RA learning development definitely should be ableto do a reading to the early growth dynamics of thought in education. The existenceof Islamic educational thought as the learning basis in the RA’s development isessentially related to Greek thought underlying earlier. The intersection of thisthought should undoubtedly be realized so that the achievement of the learningphilosophical principles is globally recognized. Behavioral changes need to hold a variety of serious andcontinuous efforts through meaningful learning. Meaningful learning will be ableto make changes concerning the behavior of cognitive, affective and psychomotor.Learning which is able to achieve all of the three domains of educational objectivesis an active learning model that is performed to build their own knowledge throughteacher designed-learning activities.Constructivist learning is learning that is capable of changing the old style ofteaching where the teacher is always an active role or be a style of teaching wherethe teacher as a facilitator who designed learning by activating his students to learn on their own, learn to interact in a responsible group for achieving learning outcomes individually, while he provides guidance and facilitates them to learn.
