Abstract

            Writing the results of this study aims to explain about Strategies In Retaining Women Poor Survival in Urban District of the Cape of Good to Labuan in Dublin in 2010 . Study informants took five women / mothers or widows ditingal her husband died of Poor Households where the theree informants poor women of Lingkungan I and two informants poor women of the Lingkungan II . The method used is descriptive qualitative . Data collection techniques used , namely in-depth interviews and documentary studies . Based on the results of this study concluded that the strategy of poor women in maintaining the viability of all the ability to find a solution that is done in an effort to meet the needs of family life . Here the survival strategy or by pressing dicukup insufficiency , especially in subsistence daily meals . Generally they are the spirit of working hard as a laundry worker , factory workers , artisans and trade marung sequence. Dependence on assistance from other parties or other persons who may otherwise still expected as first aid given by the government Raskin and BLT . To meet the needs of school education strategy her children , because they are trying to prioritize for the future . Although low income , they do not work any more with the term odd jobs working with pattern holes dug hole covered.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the pattern of education for children with mental disabilities in an unusual school, SLB Dharma Dharma Bakti Pertiwi, Beringin Raya, Kemiling Sub-district, Bandar Lampung. This study is qualitative research. The techniques of collecting data are interview and documentation, while the technique of data analysis is qualitative analysis. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The pattern of inclusive education implemented is regular or general education for children with special needs using a school-based curriculum or KTSP. The strategies used in the approach to the students are:  students are considered as friends, being patient and individual. Instructional media used are textbooks, pictures and props as well as tools and materials for skill practice; (2) The special pattern of education for SLB students are general subjects by providing general subjects with verbal and nonverbal language or giving examples and demonstrations. Skill education and self fostering are given in order that the students will have special skills to take care of themselves and not depend on others. Education of language speaking skills is carried out empathically and by giving motivation to the students to follow the learning activities well, to be able to communicate with friends, teachers, parents and people around him;  (3) The level of absorption of the material with the students of SLB Dharma Dharma Bakti Pertiwi is adapted to the students’ ability. If the students do not understand and comprehend the material presented, the teacher will repeat until the students know and understand.

Abstract

This paper reviews the issue of child trafficking as a transnational crime is also related to globalization. By browsing a variety of documents and books related to child trafficking, this paper gives an overview of the humanitarian issues for the global and local level. In the end, child trafficking is happening in various parts of the world have threatened the existence of human dignity and the future of child endangering.

Abstract

Mangrove is groups of plants growing along the coast and mangrove has a high adaptation ability to salinity of brackish water where it has to live in this environment. Mangrove forest functions to protect mainland from sea water abrasion, to provide living for people, to be environment for sea fish breeding. People have their reasons for inhabiting and using mangrove forest; not only for mangrove potential, but also their social background to live there. People control to mangrove forest is conducted by processes and from one season to another. People are aware of what they are doing as destructing mangrove forest. However, they do not have other options because their family members need food and their children have to go to school. Stopping mangrove forest destruction can be done by means of some stages. First, people should be aware of environment potentials when it is in good and destructed conditions, second village government should be consistent about their job descriptions and coordinate with its people to preserve environment, and finally, the Forestry Office should be routinely monitoring mangrove forest register.

Abstract

This This paper reviews about the effectiveness of prisons in Indonesia. The limit in this paper include: the purpose of the SPP; indicator of the effectiveness of prisons, and; facts in Indonesian prisons. At the end of this paper, an alternative solution is also presented in order to realize effective in Indonesian prisons.

Abstract

This study observes the phenomenon of existence of women movement Aisyiyah Lampung Province in empowering women. The discussion  emphasizes on the implementation of Aisyiah’s programs in empowering women as well as the suporting and hampering factors of the empowering process. This research is descriptive which empolys qualitative approach in data analysis. Meanwhile the technique of collecting data are interview, observation and documentation. The result of the reseach shows that Aisyiyah Lampung province has successfully performed some efforts of empowering women in many sectors of life such as education, economy, social welfare, religion and environment. The supporting factors of this success are the existence of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Aisyiah Lampung province and Aisyiyah head office Jakarta and also MoU between Aisyiyah Lampung and goverment’s  institutions in Lampung. Other keys of success are the enthusiasm and full support of Aisyiyah members to the implementation of the programs. Whereas the hampering factors are the busy activities of its organizers, the minimum budget  for the realization of activities, and the low-interconecting regions in Lampung.  However in order to be more active in taking role of society empowerment, Aisyiyah insitution needs to improve the human resource quality of its members and organizers by conducting leadership training, developing its network, as well as applying good organization management so as to be the agent of social change.
