Abstract

This study aims at: (1) Acquiring principal leadership pattern executed in MA Gani Tirtoasri Tirtomoyo Wonogiri in the 2014/2015 academic year. (2) Obtaining the efforts being made to improve the performance of teachers in MA Gani Tirtoasri Tirtomoyo Wonogiri in the 2014/2015 academic year. (3) Obtaining the constraints experienced during the principal leadership in the 2014/2015 academic year. (4) Obtaining the results that have been achieved over the principal leadership in the 2014/2015 academic year. This study was conducted in MA GaniTirtoasri Tirtomoyo, MA Gani Tirtoasri have a good school achievement in academic and non-academic. MA Gani Tirtoasri is the oldest Madrasah established in the district of Wonogiri that becomethe establishment embryo of another madrasah. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research, the research seeks to tell that there is now based on the data, this study also presents the data, analyze, and interpret. The informants are Principals, Madrasah Committee, vice principal of curriculum division, Vice Principals of Infrastructure Division, vice principal of students affairs, Parents, and Students. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. In examining the validity of the data or check the veracity of the data used by extending the duration of the study, the continuous observation, triangulation, either triangulation of data sources and the triangulation of data collection techniques. Data analysis was performed three stages include: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion / verification. The study concluded that: (1) Principal leadership patternapplied in MA Gani Tirtoasri lead to a democratic leadership pattern. (2) Principals has made various efforts to improve teacher performance MA Gani Tirtoasri includes: (a) curriculum development: (b) the development of teaching and learning; (c) human resource development; (d) the development of curricular and extracurricular; (e) the development of links with education stakeholders. (3) The problem faced Principals in the lead MA Gani Tirtoasri in the 2014/2015 academic yearthe main is difficult to change the mindset of teachers becomes a teacher who constantly want to develop in accordance with the demands of the times. Abstract

This research aimed to find out: how process of learning in class V SDIT Al-Hasna Klaten, How is the procedure of development learning multimedia subject of Islamic Education class V in SDIT Al-Hasna Klaten, How to effective development of learning multimedia teaching in subjects Islamic education class V in SDIT Al-Hasna Klaten. The method used method of Research and Development (research and development), process development using modification model ADDIE with Borg and gall development model. Stages of development in this study begins with (1) analyzing the needs needed in developing the Product, (2) designing prototypical product, (3) developing the product, (4) implementing the product in the field, and (5) evaluating product’s weaknesses. This reesearch used 15 samples in experimental group (five graders in A class) and 16 samples in control group (five graders in B class). Furthermore, in collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and achievement test as the instruments and it was analyzed using Descriptive statistic methods and t-test. The results showed that the media developed has met the worthy and qualified to be used as a learning media. It is seen from the results of expert validation of material with an average of 4.46 and has very good category. Validation of experts media with an average of 4.33 is very good category. According to the students, this multimedia is very good with an average of 4,30. In the test the learning effectiveness, it is known to the average point obtained by the experimental class is 94,66. The average point was higher than the control class 72,81.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to: (1) Improving student motivation through the application of interactive multimedia in science for fourth grade at Brubuh 2 Elementary School; (2) Improving student learning outcomes through the application of interactive multimedia in science for fourth grade at Brubuh 2 Elementary School. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK), the research subjects were 21 students of fourth grade at Brubuh 2 Elementary School. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques using the test (to measure student learning outcomes), the questionnaire (to measure student motivation), observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data using triangulation techniques and data sources triangulation method. While the criteria for the success of this research if at least 80% of students had reached KKM (minimum completeness criteria) ≥ 70, and the percentage of learners' motivation towards science learning using interactive multimedia by 80%. The results showed that an increase in student learning outcomes, including an increase in the average grade of 60.38% pre-cycle into 72.41 % in the first cycle and 83.09% in the second cycle. The lowest value increased from pre cycles 50 to 60 in the first cycle and 65 in the second cycle. The highest value increase of pre cycles 76 to 90 in the first cycle and 100 in the second cycle. The number of students who reach KKM ≥ 70 also increased from 38.1% pre-cycle to 66.7% in the first cycle and 90.47% in the second cycle. The percentage of student motivation toward science learning by using interactive multimedia application amounted to 67.43% in the first cycle and increased to 84.23% in the second cycle. The second variable of this class action research has qualified research success criteria, that is motivation and completeness learning outcomes of students reached 80 %.

Abstract

The specific objective of this research is to know which are on mathematics learning achievement better, between students who have high intrapersonal intelligence, medium, and low. This study is a quasi-experimental research. The study population was fifth grade students of SD Negeri Kudus District. The sampling technique was conducted stratified cluster random sampling. The sample in this study were students of class V SD 1 Muhammadiyah Kudus and fifth grade students of SD 1 Gondangmanis Kudus. The instrument used to collect data is intrapersonal intelligence student questionnaires. Questionnaires tested before it is used for data retrieval. The validity of questionnaires carried out by the validator, the reliability of the test is tested with the formula KR-20 and reliability of the questionnaire was tested with Alpha formula. Test instruments carried at SD 2 Holy Honggosoco. Analysis of the data used is two-way analysis of variance. Factors used to test the significance of differences in students' intrapersonal intelligence level of learning achievement. Test prerequisite Lillifors Variance Analysis method to test for normality and homogeneity test methods to Barlett. With α = 0.05. Scheffe method 'used for further analysis of variance test if the hypothesis is rejected.

Abstract

The students’ mathematical creative thinking ability which were not optimal became the reason for conducting this study. It was a quasi-experimental research through problem-based learning “what’s another way” and discovery learning. In this case, the population of the study were all seven grade students in a junior high schools in Pekalongan regency with two classes as the sample. The data were gathered by employing three research instruments such as mathematics creative thinking ability test, teaching materials, and observation sheet. The results of the study indicated that there was no difference between the achievement and the enhancement of the students’ mathematical creative thinking ability in two experimental classes. Besides, the overall students’ activities in both the class employing problem-based learning “what’s another way” and the class employing discovery learning had been very good.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out: (1) how was the condition of instructional process in mathematics in five grade of SD Muhmmadiyah 1 Ngawi, (2) the suitable developmental procedure of Flipbook as a multimedia for mathematics in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngawi, (3) the effectiveness of  Flipbook in increasing students’ motivation. This research designed in Research and Development study design corridor with procedures; (1) analyzing the needs needed in developing the Product, (2) designing prototypical product, (3) developing the product, (4) implementing the product in the field, and (5) evaluating product’s weaknesses. In addition, this study used totally 52 samples. 26 samples in experimental group (five graders in Billal Bin Robbah class) and 26 samples in control group (five graders in Khadijah Binti Kubro class). Furthermore, in collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and achievement test as the instruments and it was analyzed using Descriptive statistic methods and ttest. After Administering the data analyses, it was found that: (1) the category of the product was good based on the means of points given by Content Expert-4, 74; (2) the category of the product was good based on the means of points given by Media Experts-4, 66), (3) the product considered very good based on first field test with means of 4, 67 or 78% ; (4) the product also considered very good based on second field test with means of 4, 57 or 91%; (5) H1 was accepted, means that achievement of the two groups was different shown by the means (Experimental Group-72,38 and Control Group-63.83). Abstract

Kebutuhan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris profesi untuk peserta didik International Hotel Management School (IHS) teridentifikasi setelah hasil evaluasi bersama program On the Job Training (OJT) menunjukkan bahwa unjuk kerja yang diharapkan dari peserta IHS yang menempuh OJT di bagian Front Office hotel, tidak sesuai dengan apa yang ditunjukkan di lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa terhadap kurikulum pendidikan IHS, didapati bahwa program-program pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di IHS dikembangkan berdasarkan situasi atau keadaan di mana peserta didik membutuhkan kerampilan berkomunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris sebagai bagian dari tuntutan pekerjaan mereka. Oleh karena itu analisis kebutuhan pembelajaran (Need Analysis), yaitu tahap peserta didik mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran, menjadi tahap yang paling menentukan di dalam proses pengembangan bahan ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengembangkan bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis kompetensi kerja untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik IHS menempuh OJT di bagian Front Office hotel, dan mengetahui efektifitas bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis kompetensi kerja dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kecakapan Berbahasa Inggris peserta didik/i IHS. Bahan ajar Bahasa Inggris berbasis kompetensi kerja yang dihasilkan di dalam penelitian ini dikaji dari dua aspek, yaitu: aspek efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar, serta aspek kelayakan bahan ajar, yang meliputi kelayakan isi, kelayakan kebahasaan, kelayakan penyajian, dan kelayakan unsur dekoratif bahan ajar.

Abstract

The objective of  this research  “The application of  Point- Counterpoint Variety” is to increase the students’ creativity capable and the outcome of  Pkn subject with “Pembelaan Negara” topic for the students of IX E  SMPN 1 Mojosongo the first semester  academic year 2013/ 2014. This  research using qualitative method with descriptive feature, describe the data and interprise the data. The kind of this research is action research (PTK)  that was done by the researcher directly. The setting of this reseach is IXE class SMP N 1 Mojosongo the first semester academic year 2013/2014  which has low capable from one of the sevent classses paralel. The technic of  collecting the data are test and non test. For collecting the data using the observation and the items of test. To know the efectiveness the process of learning using the strategy “Point-CounterPoint Variety”, the researcher and the collaborator  have done  the observation in the process of learning. While the validity of  the data using content validity and triangulasi. The analysis of the data using the analysis descriptive comparative and qualitative. Indicators which be hope in this research are : 1) Increase the students’ critical capacity from 13,33% (before treatment) become 26,00 %  in the 1st cycle, and 35,00 % in 2nd cycle; 2) Increase the students’ average 71,90 (before tretment) in the 1St cycle to 80,00 in the 1nd cycle and 85,00 in the 2 nd cycle. After the process of collected and analised the data, the result of the research is significant. This result show that the strategy of learning Point-counterpoint variety can improve :1) The students’s  critical capacity 13,33% ( before treatment) to 28,57% in the 1st cycle, and 41,90% in the 2nd cycle. 2) The students’ average 71,90 (before treatment) to 86,67 in the 1st cycle, and 92,14 in the 2rd cycle. Increase the critical capacity and the outcome for  “Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan” with topic “Usaha Pembelaan Negara” for the students IXE class SMP Negeri 1 Mojosongo the first semester academic year 2013/2014.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out (1) the difference of effect between the NHT, TGT, and Directive learning (DL) models on the mathematics learning achievement. (2) the difference of learning achievement on mathematics between boys and. (3) the interaction of effect between learning model and gender on  mathematics learning achievement. This kind of research is a quantitative one which uses an experimental factorial design. The population of this research are all the 7th grade - 1st semester students of SMP 1 Sidoharjo, Sragen on the Academic Year Of 2015/2016. The sample is determined by taking 3 clsasses at random. The sampling technique uses the Cluster Random Sampling. The experimental group was treated by the NHT and TGT learning models. While the control group was subjected to the directive learning. For the teaching material is used the Algebraic design. The hypothesis testing uses the factorial design 3x2 with Two-Ways Analysis of Variance (Two Ways Anava) technique with different cells. Before, the trial test was conducted. Forth, for the balance testing was used the t-testing. For the reliability testing of the research instrument with internal consistency was used the Kuder Richardson (KR-20) formula, normality test used the lilliefors method, and the homogenity test used the Bartlet method. The result of the data analysis with significance level of 0.05 obtained: (1) FA = 3.641 and Ftable = 3.07, it mean FA > Ftable. The conclusion of HOA test was rejected and H1A was accepted, which means that there is a significant difference between the learning models to the mathematics achievement. (2) FB = 15.197 and Ftable = 3.92, it obtained FB > Ftable. HOB test was rejected and H1B was accepted. It means that there is a significant difference between boys and girls to the mathematics achievement. (3) FAB = 4.353, Ftable = 3.07, obtained FAB > Ftable. HOAB was rejected and H1AB was accepted, it means that there is a significant interaction of effect between gender and learning models to the mathematics achievement at the subject of Algebraic design.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan pengaruh pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation terhadap prestasi belajar IPA, (2) perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar IPA, (3) interaksi pengaruh antara model pembelajaran dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di SDN dabin Diponegoro Ngringo Jaten Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2013/ 2014. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah SDN 04 Ngringo sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SDN 07 Ngringo sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah tes prestasi belajar IPA dan angket kecerdasan interpersonal. Ujicoba instrumen tes meliputi validitas isi, tingkat kesukaran, dan reliabilitas. Ujicoba intrumen angket meliputi validitas isi dan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji kesetaraan. Uji hipotesis dengan uji anava dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Group Investigation dalam menghasilkan prestasi belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fa=15.68 dengan Ftabel=7.31, keputusan uji H0A ditolak. (2) tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal tinggi dan kecerdasan interpersonal rendah dalam menghasilkan prestasi belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fb=0.59 dengan Ftabel=7.31, keputusan uji H0B diterima. (3) tidak terdapat interaksi pengaruh antara model pem-belajaran dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa terhadap prestasi belajar IPA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fc=0.036 dengan Ftabel=7.31, keputusan uji H0AB diterima.
