Abstract

This study aims to see a person's behavior based on experience in the context of multicultural education in building critical multiculturalism. This type of research is a mixed method using questionnaires and focus group discussions (FGD) in collecting data. The subjects and objects are high school students in Bengkulu City. This selection is based on the consideration of high school students who are the next generation of the nation and are in the early adult human stage. The hope is that this can illustrate the role of education in its position as one of the builders of multicultural behavior. The results of this research analysis illustrate that high school students in Bengkulu City have high enough confidence to consistently interact and adapt to differences. In fact, it is not only considered a luxury, but is interpreted as a necessity where they cannot avoid cultural and religious differences. This has implications for their multicultural behavior where they are able to be smart in responding to differences. In essence, multiculturalism that was built from the experiences of high school students in Bengkulu is a final concept that builds the strength of a relationship of interaction and behavior of different ethnic, religious, racial, ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds by creating a unity of mutual respect and respect which is classified as Critical Multiculturalism..

Abstract

This interview study reports on the experience of 7 Guidance and Counseling teachers developing the value of helping inclusive madrasah students in West Sumatra, Indonesia. Data was collected employing semi-structured interviews to explore the experience of the counseling teacher. Data were analyzed by thematic content analysis. The results of the study show two general findings, namely that Guidance and Counseling teachers play a role in fostering an attitude of helping students in inclusive education institutions through orientation services and individual counseling. Besides that, Guidance and Counseling teachers collaborate with religious teachers in charity activities such "As Sedeqah Fridays which are collected from both ordinary students and special needs children. This study emphasizes the importance of Guidance and Counseling teachers receiving technical training in educating children with special needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss Ibnu Miskawaih’s concept on the philosophical thoughts of moral education and its relevance to contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. Ibn Miskawaih is a Muslim scholar who has composed many works on ethical philosophy. This research is a qualitative descriptive and a kind of literature study. The method used content analysis. The results and discussion explained that Ibn Miskawaih has the concept of morality, that states the condition of the human soul that encourages to do an act without prior consideration and calculation. Ibnu Miskawaih formulated about moral education, it begins with the method of moral education, moral education material and the purpose of moral education. The relevance of Ibn Miskawaih's philosophical thoughts to contemporary Islamic education is considered reasonable and relevant in terms of the objectives, materials, and methods of Islamic education, that to realize individuals developing noble characters and obeying the Islamic values.Keywords: Philosophy, Moral Education, Ibnu Miskawaih

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam Terpadu adalah pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam pembelajaran sekolah atau memadukan antara pendidikan agama dengan pendidikan umum. Sekolah Islam Terpadu telah menyebar keberadaannya, banyak masyarakat yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan sekolah Islam Terpadu yang memiliki kualitas yang baik salah satunya sekolah Islam Terpadu Izzuddin Palembang. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyelenggaraan pendidikan sekolah Islam Terpadu Izzuddin di Kota Palembang. kemudian, penulisan ini menggunakan metode Historis. Adapaun tahapan dalam metode historis yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, intepretasi, dan historiografi. hasil pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penulisan artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa penyelenggaraan sekolah ini dimulai pada tahun 2002 yang dirancang dengan kurikulum diknas dan kurikulum panduan dari Jaringan Sekolah Islam Terpadu. penggunaan kurikulum JSIT  menandakan bahwa ciri khas dari sekolah Islam Terpadu. Selain pembelajaran formal, sekolah Izzuddin menerapakan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan menghapal. Sehingga terus membentuk peserta didik menjadi Ahlul Qur’an.

Abstract

In man there is a nature that must be maintained in the life of man. One of the human nature that must be maintained is morality or ethics. Because with these morals there is a difference between man and the other creatures of God's creation. Here the researcher wants to know how far the implementation of the Qur'an in forming al-kariman morals, to readers and their examiners, as mentioned in the interpretation of Surat Al-Baqarah verse 129. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach, which is one of descriptive research, with this study expected to reveal in depth about the morals of students at the Insani Gamol Mosque of Conscience landfill. Data collection techniques that are used in interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the morals of TPA Students of Masjid Nurani Insani Gamol have good morals even though they are not yet 100%. Hopefully by studying more diligently can achieve the quality of al-Karimah morals.

Abstract

Minimnya pengembangan media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam menjadi topik yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini. Dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru tetap menggunakan pendekatan tradisional seperti metode ceramah. Akibatnya, fungsi otak tidak sebaik yang diharapkan. Hanya otak kiri yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran gaya ceramah, sedangkan otak kanan tetap tidak aktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menilai hubungan antara media pembelajaran berbasis neuroscience dengan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) pada anak berdasarkan pemikiran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan perpustakaan, yaitu mengkaji dan menganalisis dokumen, buku, dan artikel tentang media pembelajaran, neurologi, dan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis neuroscience sangat penting dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, menurut temuan penelitian ini. Hal ini karena otak manusia akan berfungsi secara maksimal jika neuroscience diintegrasikan ke dalam media pembelajaran. Media audio yang diolah oleh lobus temporal otak, media visual yang diolah oleh lobus oksipital otak, dan materi audiovisual yang diolah oleh lobus temporal merupakan contoh media pembelajaran dalam pendidikan agama Islam yang dapat meningkatkan fungsi otak. serta lobus oksipital otak.

Abstract

Madrasah is the second institution that was established in the 20th century after pesantren. When viewed from a historical perspective, Islamic educational institutions (madrasas) have experienced a very long polemic until now, it seems that the polemics that madrasas go through will never end if the government does not really pay attention to the existence of madrasas in Indonesia. This research is an expression of the author's criticism of the government so that it can pay more attention to madrasas so that madrasas can develop optimally both in terms of quality of education, quality of teachers, facilities and infrastructure, student development, and so on. When we look at the development of madrasas from time to time, namely from the post-independence period to the New Order era, in fact in the Joint Decree (SKB) three ministers have emphasized that madrasas will be well cared for by the government, but the question is why until now there is still inequality. government policy on madrasah development ?. This research reveals the various gaps that exist regarding the development of madrasas in Indonesia. This research is a literature research in which the author collects references using a digital system, namely the publish or perish search engine so that thousands of relevant literature are obtained and then selected from the highest to the lowest rank and analyzed.

Abstract

Morals are very important in humans as the most perfect creatures that God created. One who has a role in moral education is parents. This study aims to determine the role of parents in the moral education of elementary school age children. The approach used is a qualitative case study method with interviews with 6 parents to collect data. The results obtained are that most parents have played their role in the moral education of elementary school age children. The roles that emerge are parents as mentors, role models, protectors, supervisors and friends for their children. Parents are also educators who instill religious values in their children. However, there are still parents who forget their responsibilities in the moral education of their children. The role of parents is needed in elementary school moral education so that the formation of children who have noble character.

Abstract

Akhir–akhir ini kearifan lokal termasuk Gurindam Dua Belas terabaikan adanya. Sebagai masyarakat melayu, sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah di Kota Pekanbaru melalui pendidikan AIK memiliki tanggungjawab untuk mengembangkan dan melestarikan Gurindam Dua Belas ini yang merupakan ciri khas budaya melayu Riau. Penelitian ini akan mengungkap Kontribusi Pembelajaran AIK terhadap Pengembangan Nilai-nilai Kearifan Lokal (Gurindam 12) di Sekolah Menengah Muhammadiyah se-Kota Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian ini kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Adapun dalam pengumpulan data dilakukan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan wawancara. Sedangkan informan penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kurikululum, guru-guru Al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dan siswa. Data yang diperoleh kemudian data di analisis dengan pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran AIK sangat berkontribusi positif dalam mengembangkan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal (gurindam 12) pada siswa di sekolah menengah Atas Muhammadiyah se-kota Pekanbaru dan sudah berjalan efektif dengan berbagai program dan realisasinya.
