Abstract

Abstract Climate change literacy must continue to be taught from an early age to students in the city of Kupang related to the impacts of climate change that occur, namely the tropical cyclone and the reduction of the coastline. This study aims to increase knowledge and beliefs about climate change that is currently happening so that students can take real action and have a positive impact on the environment where they live and the wider area. Learning by involving related networks, namely the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) and experience-based learning using the Project Based Learning (Experimental Class) and Problem Based Learning (Control Class) methods can improve climate change literacy for class VII students (n is equal to 60 people) in SMP Negeri 8 Kupang. The research was designed using a quasi experimental method. Research instruments in the form of questions and questionnaires were used to collect data about students knowledge and beliefs about climate change. The learning model based on experience can increase students' knowledge.Keywords climate change, project based learning, problem based learning.Abstrak Literasi perubahan iklim harus terus diajarkan sejak dini kepada siswa di kota Kupang terkait dampak perubahan iklim yang terjadi yaitu siklon tropis dan berkurangnya garis pantai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keyakinan tentang perubahan iklim yang sedang terjadi sehingga mahasiswa dapat melakukan tindakan nyata dan memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan tempat tinggalnya dan wilayah yang lebih luas. Pembelajaran dengan melibatkan jaringan terkait yaitu Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) dan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman menggunakan metode Project Based Learning (Kelas Eksperimen) dan Problem Based Learning (Kelas Kontrol) dapat meningkatkan literasi perubahan iklim bagi siswa kelas VII (n sama dengan 60 orang) di SMP Negeri 8 Kupang. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Instrumen penelitian berupa pertanyaan dan angket digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang pengetahuan dan keyakinan siswa tentang perubahan iklim. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify the scale of mathematics teaching anxiety among Elementary teachers during online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic at Pekayon district and determine the mathematics anxiety in teaching during the pandemic. The research method that used for this research is a mixed method. The study was conducted on 42 mathematics teachers who teach online learning. Data were collected through a 19-item Mathematics Teaching Anxiety Scale (MTAS) questionnaire. The results indicated that six people (14%) were classified as having high anxiety, twenty-eight people (67%) as having moderate anxiety, and eight people (19%) as having low anxiety. The factors that cause anxiety in teaching mathematics in general are the factors of Student-Directed Mathematics Teaching Anxiety. However, Teachers with high anxiety, teachers with low anxiety, and teachers with normal anxiety differ greatly in preparing materials and learning tools and delivering online learning materials. Keywords: mathematics teaching anxiety, MTAS, online learning, Covid-19 pandemic Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindentifikasi skala kecemasan mengajar matematika para guru tingkat sekolah dasar di Pekayon, Jakarta dalam pembelajaran daring selama pandemic Covid-19 dan menjabarkan bentuk kecemasan mengajar matematika selama pandemic. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian campuran kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan 42 guru yang mengajar daring. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan 19-butir pertanyaan Mathematics Teaching Anxiety Scale (MTAS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 14% guru memiliki kecemasan tinggi, 67% guru memiliki kecemasan sedang, dan 19% guru memiliki kecemasan rendah. Faktor yang menyebabkan kecemasan mengajar matematika secara garis besar disebabkan oleh kecemasan yang berhubungan dengan siswa. Meskipun demikian, guru yang memiliki kecemasan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah memiliki perbedaan dalam persiapan materi, alat pembelajaran, dan materi pembelajaran online. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop  centrifugation tool to improve performance in the laboratory and problem solving skills. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) with 4D model. The results showed that the developed centrifuge was declared according to the material, had educational value, was durable, precise in measurement, efficient and safe for students based on the responses of teachers and students respectively at 100% and 96.15% with very high criteria. Student performance scores in the laboratory have a distribution close to the average student performance score (91.52). The effectiveness of the application of centrifugation using the students’ worksheet obtained good results in improving problem solving skills with moderate criteria (0.60) and giving moderate effect (0.42). Based on these results, the developed centrifuge was declared effective for improving laboratory performance and problem solving skills. Keywords: centrifuge, student performance, problem solving. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat sentrifugasi untuk meningkatkan kinerja di laboratorium dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model 4D. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alat sentrifugasi hasil pengembangan dinyatakan sesuai materi, memiliki nilai pendidikan, tahan lama, tepat dalam pengukuran, efisien serta aman bagi siswa berdasarkan tanggapan guru dan siswa masing-masing sebesar 100% dan 96,15% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Nilai-nilai kinerja siswa di laboratorium memiliki persebaran yang dekat dengan nilai rata-rata kinerja siswa (91,52). Keefektifan penerapan alat sentrifugasi dengan mengguna¬kan lembar kerja siswa diperoleh hasil yang baik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dengan kriteria sedang (0,60) dan memberikan pengaruh sedang (0,32). Ber¬dasarkan dari hasil tersebut, alat sentrifugasi hasil pengembang¬an dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan kinerja di laboratorium dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Kata kunci: alat sentrifugasi, kinerja siswa, pemecahan masalah.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp853-865

Abstract

Abstract: The low concern for the environment after the pandemic period which gradually ended, especially when learning in Higher Education has been carried out face to face. There are indications of an increasing amount of litter and an acute sense of indifference. This study determines the influence and effectiveness of the application of Microsoft whiteboard-assisted environmental mathematics on students environmental care attitudes. The research population is pre-service elementary school teachers in semester 4 who took part in geometry and measurement courses in elementary schools and the research sample was 69 pre-service elementary school teachers in semester 4 in the course with a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use environmental care questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses paired sample t test and N gain. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the value of t count is equal 10.197 more than t table more than 2.201, so there is an influence of the influence of the application of Microsoft whiteboard assisted environmental mathematics on students environmental care attitudes and an N-gain value of 56 percent is got, so the application of Microsoft whiteboard assisted environmental mathematics is quite effective in improving student environmental care attitudes.Keywords: math environment, Microsoft whiteboard, care environment.Abstrak Rendahnya kepedulian pada lingkungan setelah masa pandemic yang sedikit demi sedikit mulai berakhir khususnya ketika pembelajaran di Perguruan Tinggi sudah mulai dilaksanakan secara tatap muka. Ada indikasi meningkatnya jumlah sampah dan tingginya rasa tidak peduli. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan efektivitas penerapan matematika lingkungan berbantu Microsoft whiteboard terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa PGSD semester 4 yang mengikuti mata kuliah Geometri dan Pengukuran di SD dan sampel penelitian ada 69 mahasiswa PGSD semester 4 pada mata kuliah tersebut dengan teknik sampling simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket sikap peduli lingkungan, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t test dan N-gain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan bahwa nilai thitung sama dengan 10,197 lebih dari ttabel sama dengan 2,201, yang berarti ada pengaruh pengaruh penerapan matematika lingkungan berbantu Microsoft whiteboard terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa dan didapatkan nilai N-gain sebesar 56 persen yang berarti penerapan matematika lingkungan berbantu Microsoft whiteboard cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan mahasiswa.Kata kunci matematika lingkungan, Microsoft whiteboard, peduli lingkungan.DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp486-495

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the effect of implementing e-worksheets on environmentally friendly technology materials with the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) model in improving students argumentation skills. This study involved 60 grade IX students in a junior high school in South Lampung, Lampung province. The research design used was a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design with an experimental class of 30 students and a control class of 30 students. Students in the experimental class get learning assisted by e-worksheet with the ADI model, while students in the control class are taught using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The results showed that students who were taught using the e-worksheets with the ADI model had a higher N-gain (g is equal to 0.61 with medium criteria) than students taught using the PBL model (g is equal to 0.17 with low criteria). Furthermore, the effectiveness of learning environmentally friendly technology using the ADI model shows a high category (ES is equal to 0.84). This shows that the e-worksheet material on environmentally friendly technology using the ADI model was effective in improving students argumentation skills.Keywords e-worksheet, argumentation skills, argument-driven inquiry.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan e-LKPD materi teknologi ramah lingkungan dengan model Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan 60 siswa kelas IX disebuah SMP Negeri di Lampung Selatan, provinsi Lampung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design dengan kelas eksperimen sebanyak 30 siswa dan kelas kontrol sebanyak 30 siswa. Siswa pada kelas eksperimen mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan berbantuan e-LKPD dengan model ADI, sedangkan siswa pada kelas kontrol diajar menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajar menggunakan e-LKPD dengan model ADI memiliki N-gain (g sama dengan 0,61 kriteria sedang) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajarkan dengan model PBL (g sama dengan 0,17 kriteria rendah). Selanjutnya, efektivitas pembelajaran teknologi ramah lingkungan dengan menggunakan model ADI menunjukkan kategori tinggi (ES sama dengan 0,84). Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of visual learning style using the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in terms of the emotional intelligence of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Menganti. The population used is class XI IPA and the selected sample is students of class XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3 by applying the Problem Based Learning model. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and student learning outcomes tests. From the results of the data analysis, the value of sig. (2-tailed) is equal to 0.005 on the results of the visual learning style test with high emotional intelligence was obtained. Meanwhile, the visual style learning outcome test with moderate emotional intelligence obtained a value of sig. (2 tailed) is equal to 0.000 and the visual learning style with emotional intelligence obtained a value of sig. (2 tailed) is equal to 0.001. It can be said that there is an influence on visual learning style using Problem Based Learning on significant learning outcomes of the emotional intelligence of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Menganti in 2021/2022. Populasi yang digunakan adalah kelas XI IPA dan Sampel yang terpilih adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 dan XI IPA 3 dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning. Teknik Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan tes hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil analisis data didapatka nilai sig.(2-tailed) sama dengan 0,005 pada hasil tes gaya belajar visual dengan kecerdasan emosional tinggi. Sedangkan tes hasil belajar gaya belajar visual dengan kecerdasan emosional sedang didapat nilai sig.(2-tailed) sama dengan 0,000 serta pada gaya belajar visual dengan kecerdasan emosional rendah diperoleh nilai sig.(2-tailed) sama dengan 0,001. Dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada gaya belajar visual menggunakan Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar ditinjau dari kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Menganti tahun 2021/2022. Abstract

Abstract: Revolution 4.0 requires humans to have 21st century skills. The 21st century guides human resources that are able to compete with the wider community, so the government seeks to improve human resources through education. Thinking skills that are expected to achieve optimal learning outcomes are science process skills, because with these thinking skills students will be able to build meaning and confirm their understanding of a physical concept symptom and emphasize the importance of direct experience involvement in the learning process. The learning model that emphasizes learning as a process that involves solving problems in an actual context is the Problem based Learning model. Based on the description above, it can be stated that there are several researchers who have conducted research on the effect of problem based learning models on students' science process skills. So a meta-analysis of 15 articles was carried out, there was a significant effect of the problem based learning model on students' science process skills in learning physics based on grade level, physics subject matter and student learning outcomes. Keywords: problem based learning, science process skills, physics. Abstrak: Revolusi 4.0 menuntut manusia untuk memiliki keterampilan abad-21. Abad-21 menuntun sumber daya manusia yang mampu bersaing dengan masyarakat luas, sehingga pemerintah berupaya meningkatkan sumber daya manusi melalui pendidikan. Keterampilan berpikir yang diharapkan dalam mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal adalah keterampilan proses sains, karena dengan keterampilan berpikir ini siswa akan dapat membangun makna dan mengkonfirmasikan pemahamannya mengenai sesuatu gejala konsep fisika serta memberikan penekanan pada pentingnya keterlibatan pengalaman langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang menekankan belajar sebagai proses yang melibatkan pemecahan masalah dalam konteks yang sebenarnya yaitu model Problem based Learnin. Berdasarkan uraian diatas dapat dikemukakan bahwa terdapat beberapa peneliti telah melakukan peneitian tentang pengaruh model problem based learning terhadap keteampilan proses sains siswa. Jadi dilakukan meta analisis dari 15 artikel terdapat pengaruh yang berarti penerapan model problem based learning terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika berdasarkan tingkat kelas, materi pelajaran fisika dan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract

Abstract: Twenty-first century learning means learning designed for millennials to keep up with modern technology. as a result, it requires students to master four learning skills (4Cs), namely: critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration. These four skills support students in the learning process now. This study aims uncover the validity, practicality and effectiveness of structured inquiry-based e-modules that use representation to improve student HOTS. The research means research and development (R and D) and the Plomp development model. The query-based E-Module buffer solution is structured and a 3-layer representation is created based on the Plomp development example, which is divided into 3 stages, namely: preliminary research; prototyping; and the assessment stage. The validity test was analyzed using aikens V derived formula from which validity will occur obtained 0.85 with the category valid. what will happen is that the structured inquiry-based buffer solution module is valid and easy to use for chemical learners.Keywords: e-modules, buffer solutions, live worksheets, multiple representations, structured inquiryAbstrak: Pembelajaran abad 21 artinya pembelajaran yang dirancang buat generasi abad 21 supaya bisa mengikuti perkembangan teknologi modern. sebagai akibatnya menuntut siswa buat menguasai empat keterampilan belajar (4C), yaitu: berpikir kritis (Critical Thinking), kreativitas (Creativity), komunikasi (Communication) serta kolaborasi (Collaboration). Keempat keterampilan ini mendukung siswa pada proses pembelajaran abad 21 mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan buat mengungkap validitas, praktikalitas dan keefektifan e-modul berbasis inkuiri terstruktur yg memakai representasi uuntuk meningkatkan HOTS peserta didik. Penelitian tersebut artinya penelitian serta pengembangan (R dan D) dan model pengembangan Plomp. Solusi buffer E-Module berbasis query terstruktur dan representasi 3 lapis dibuat berdasarkan contoh pengembangan Plomp, yg dibagi menjadi 3 tahap, yaitu penelitian pendahuluan; termin prototyping; dan tahap penilaian. Uji validitas dianalisis menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V berasal yang akan terjadi validitas diperoleh 0,85 dengan kategori kevalidan sangat valid. yang akan terjadi penelitian menerangkan bahwa modul larutan penyangga berbasis inkuiri terstruktur sudah valid serta mudah saat dipakai buat pembelajara kimia.Kata kunci: e-modul, larutan penyangga, live worksheet, multipel representasi, inkuiri terstruktur.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i3.pp792-803

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the main group elemental chemistry textbooks based on problem based learning in improving student learning outcomes. The design of this study was a quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The participants in this study were sixth year chemistry education students at Universitas Sriwijaya for the 2021/2022 academic year. Test instruments was implied in this research and analyzed using statistics with N-gain data. The results showed that problem-based learning teaching materials for chemistry education students were categorized as very effective with a high level of N-gain Keywords chemistry textbooks, problem-based learning, chemistry learning outcomes.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan buku teks kimia unsur golongan utama berbasis problem based learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi-experimental-one group pretest-posttest design. artisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan kimia Universitas Sriwijaya pada semester 6 yang terdiri dari kelas A dan kelas B tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes. Data dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain. Abstract

Abstract: In cells, many phenomena occur such as metabolism to protein synthesis, these become abstract and cause students to have difficulty understanding them. A good learning experience is needed so that students can understand the concept correctly. One learning strategy that provides a learning experience to discover and understand concepts is the Think Talk Write learning strategy. This study uses a pre-experimental design method. The subjects in this study were students of class XI science at Muhammadiyah 5 Rancaekek high school. Mastery of concepts measured in this study were C1 (memorization), C2 (understanding), C3 (application), and C4 (Analysis). Based on the results of data processing, the pretest value was 47.22 while the posttest value was 65.28. The results of the analysis using the paired sample T-Test obtained from the pretest and posttest values of 0.00, this value indicates that sign α = 0.00 0.05. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of using the Think Talk Write learning strategy on mastery of concepts in cell material.   Keywords: think talk write, concept mastery, cell    Abstrak: Di dalam sel banyak fenomena yang terjadi seperti metabolisme hingga sintesis protein, hal ini menjadi abstrak dan menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahaminya. Diperlukan sebuah pengalaman belajar yang baik sehingga siswa dapat memahami konsep secara benar. Salah satu strategy pembelajaran yang memberikan sebuah pengalaman belajar untuk menemukan dan memahami konsep adalah strategy pembelajaran Think Talk Write. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA di SMA Muhammadiyah 5 Rancaekek. Penguasaan konsep yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah C1 (hafalan), C2 (pemahaman), C3 (penerapan), dan C4 (Analisis). Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai pretest sebesar 47,22 sedangkan nilai posttest sebesar 65,28. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan uji paired sample T-Test diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan posttest sebesar 0,00, nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa signα = 0,000,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan terdapat efektivitas dari penggunaan strategy pembelajaran Think Talk Write terhadap penguasaan kondep pada materi sel.   Kata kunci: think talk write, penguasaan konsep, sel. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i4.pp1539-1547
